3721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for Holders! on: June 20, 2021, 11:58:06 PM
When you hold a coin that has potential it will give you profit more than you dreamed for but on the other it is risky for those who don’t have patience.
When a trader fails to trade and doesn't get good results for his trading activity, it's not the end for him.

There's an option to hold and that's doing nothing from the usual trading activity that they do. Many successful investors held for a long time and if you don't think that trading isn't for you.

Go hold, bitcoin or any altcoin you think that has the full potential to grow big someday.
3722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best way to stor eth in the Trezor wallet? on: June 20, 2021, 11:18:08 PM
You can create a MEW or Mycrypto wallet and transfer your ETH there in the meanwhile. And once you're done, then you transfer it to your Trezor ETH wallet afterward.

If it says that it's still in a beta phase, I'll not choose to use it to avoid possible problems as it's still in the test phase.

T1 won the ESL One Summer 2021 with 3-2 as the final score. It was an interesting match and on top of that, its always good to have all 5 map played for the Grand Final.
Congratulations to T1.

I thought that Virtus.Pro is going to get the crown for ESL One Summer, both teams are already qualified to TI so they don't have to think of the pressure what's on it after this tournament.

OG was decent with their new lineup with Sumail as their carry, getting 4th was decent. Imo their lineup with Ana was way better but yeah they need to make use of what they currently have
Before the meta was different and Ana fitted for those 2 TIs that they've become. I think we're going to see some new upsets during the qualifiers with OG. Many OG fans are hoping that they'll be the one to get that slot.
3724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: your favorite Exchange (without KYC/Verification) on: June 20, 2021, 10:11:46 PM
I'm comfortable with Binance as they allow trading even without verification, that's just fit to my limit as I never transacted a whole BTC as a trader.
Everybody is now going with Binance. Even you can easily upgrade your account and be approved with the KYC, you have the choice not to and yet you can still continue using them.

Also, hitbtc is a good option though I'm reading a lot of negative feedback against them but I have never faced a problem from this site, maybe because my transaction is just small, I don't know.
There were a lot of problems with that exchange and their reputation through the forum was already bad.

Thank you for your answers!

When I wrote "Salary", I meant everything that looks like it. Rewards, Payments of different schemes. In the title of the topic "salary with tokens". This means the question of where to look for people who are ready to jump into the project (maybe it will become a startup), where their participation will be guaranteed to be rewarded with tokens, and the rest - as it turns out.
You're welcome!

With the inclusion of your startup token, it will only like a bonus for the person that you'll employ. We'll as I've said, if there's a person that shares the same interest and enthusiasm as you with this project, you can even get people that would be fine to totally work without even single penny to receive.

But it also varies to what type of person you need on board or what skills he needs to be good at.
3726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs plans to offer ether futures, options to its clients on: June 18, 2021, 11:01:57 PM
When some institutions offered a bitcoin futures contract in late 2017, the market exploded and pumped. I also think that it's one of the contributors to why the market reached that point of an all-time high.

Yeah, CME and CBoE bitcoin future contracts, but it also contributed to the bubble being burst.
Yes, the bubble burst during that time and that's why people have thought of bitcoin as a bubble even until today.

It's good to see that Goldman Sachs keeps on supporting crypto and not going on its way but this is a really different thing from the usual spot market that we have. But with this, it gives an idea and to their customers that cryptocurrencies and making a futures contract of it make it real. I just hope that not so many of their customers will be burned.

Still a lot of intricacies for average Joe traders. And I think it will be offer for corporate first not to individuals. But we will see what it can bring in the market as a whole. It could push the alt coin market and then goes to another bubble, so let's see.
We will see the impact of it but IIRC, they've already have this plan exposed before but now that it had came into reality. There's going to be the awaited moment for Ethereum. The ATH of ETH can be surpassed, I think.  Smiley
3727  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: June 18, 2021, 10:15:41 PM
rich and poor has become a natural law because the world must be balanced.  In my opinion, people who are poor in wealth do not matter, the most important thing is that all their needs can be met.  and it is the role of the rich who helps the welfare of the poor.  so all there must be intimacy and mutual understanding and mutual help.  You don't have to be all rich and you don't have to be all poor
Survival is like a daily task to them. It is true that it's one of the important thing that they have to deal in their daily living.

Like where they're going to get their food for their table if jobs aren't stable. That's how they deal with their daily lives which is a very difficult task if we're going to imagine about it.

But with that experience, I've saw people who worked hard and smartly to overcome this trial of poverty.
3728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is buying three bitcoin worth it? on: June 18, 2021, 09:42:52 PM
I’ve been reading up on bitcoin and saw that Tim Draper estimates the price will hit 250k in 2022. I honestly could never afford a ton of bitcoin even now at 37k but I could afford three. It would be a lot of my savings, not all, but a majority. Is it worth it to spend almost 111 thousand dollars buying three bitcoin? Will it make me back a substantial amount more money? Please help!
You're in a bitcoin forum and expect that everyone of us would be saying a big YES. But before investing, you should know if you're really okay to invest that amount. Because to us, if that's our money, it's an easy thing to buy bitcoin and will just have to wait until the price target that we set hits.

It's not just about holding but also the patience that you shall apply as you hold because you might see it go down for a moment. But don't forget that it's temporary. Do you think that you're also ready to experience that moment before seeing bitcoin's price reaches to the top price that you have mentioned?
3729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need cryptomaniacs in a startup. Salary with startup tokens on: June 18, 2021, 09:12:37 PM
Satoshi did it, didn't he?  Smiley
With satoshi's starting bitcoin as a project, AFAIK, there were no payments being made for those people he took to help him.

I suspect it will be difficult to find on such terms.
And were there any examples in history when someone did it?
It is difficult if there's no guaranteed salary for those you'll take on board but there's a chance that you'll get those people interested on your project and willing to help you with the little that you can give.
3730  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Brazen Prediction of the Future on: June 17, 2021, 10:47:06 PM
Institutions and upcoming another halving shall be enough to make the fundamentals better for bitcoin.

$100k at the end of the year is still a joke for some but they don't realize that even if it won't happen by the end of this year. We're still going to see some good news kicking in by next year and so on.

Just hold even it's only 1 bitcoin folks!
3731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bought £700 worth of a cryptocurrency I don't know much about, is this moonshot? on: June 17, 2021, 09:50:54 PM
No.

You might have been misled by that advertisement that you saw. Before investing, you shouldn't just be into that advertisement but you have to do your own research too so that you're not going to end up asking if you did a good job or not.

Well, that's it. You just invested in a project that sounds like the other altcoin. I don't have to go through that project but if you can still got some stop loss and recover some of your money, do it while you can.
3732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money from Bitcoin in 2021 on: June 17, 2021, 09:15:36 AM
*BTC mining

In 2021? Nope.

This isn't 2015. The current level of mining requires more electricity usage than most people can access.
It's still but only for those who can afford to buy those miners and actual equipment for bitcoin mining. They're not cheap so it does really requires your capital to be able to mine bitcoin. It's still a thing and will always be.

What about escrow or IRL brokerage?
There are a lot of escrows already in the forum but if you think that you can be trusted just like them. You need to build your reputation.

It's hard for OG to take that spot for the TI qualifier. There has been a lot of good teams lately and they will be having hard time taking that spot. But I'm rooting for OG.

They should have given some incentive to secure a slot because this year's majors weren't really a lot and thus, they're two time TI champs.
I agree OG is still lacking that stable carry even though they have Madara it's unlikely they'll go far this qualifier.

Even if there's not a lot of majors during this DPC season, the regional league's still give out tons of points enough for qualification as there are teams that didn't earn any points in the major but still made it in the top 12.
AFAIK, Madara was just a stand-in with their past matches but it's still Ana that's going to play for them as their carry. I agree about the regional leagues, those have given a lot of points. Look at some qualified teams, they didn't even finish any championship but just made a good run with those leagues like Alliance.

Well, as in other talks: It is Psg.Lgd that took the trophy on this very last major.

Honestly speaking, one spot from the Western Europe Qualifier probably belongs to OG so this game against EG is the last chance for Nigma though

Alliance vs Team Spirit: Alliance ML @ 1.59 | ANALYSIS
I also went with this pick since Alliance will most likely put up a good fight regardless of the points. With less games played Alliance have the better advantage since they could analyze the strengths and weaknesses of Team Spirit based on the group stage matches. In terms of playstyle I think these two are equal but Alliance have the better experience with Niko.
6 teams left.

2 at the two bracket. At the upper bracket, PSG.LGD and T1. While on the lower bracket, Quincy Crew and VG & Team Nigma and EG.

I've eyed for Alliance that will be one of the teams that will be left until the finals but that's it. Just an update about Alliance, Boxi is back and Sumail is back again as a free player.

Team Liquid confirms Boxi will return for The International qualifiers, SumaiL becomes free agent

Since Weplay Esports is the one who organized this tourney then I don't have also the idea on why they do pick up that name AniMajor.
Here's some informations about them: https://liquipedia.net/dota2/WePlay_Esports
They probably want to cater to the anime watching fans of DOTA and non-DOTA fans that have the same interest in Anime. I think the reason is that it just sounds really good to the ears when you combine Anime and Major to make a portmanteau of a name. Or maybe the abundance of anime reference for different events in DOTA scene may have lead to the naming of the major.
I think it's just a theme that they all agreed because usually their majors doesn't have that kind of theme so they made it to have something new. Since they're likely seeing a lot of these players have been watching anime.

It's just to feel the theme that they're also liking the anime style that they've made. I think that we're going to see more when the last two teams are in the finals, more better cosplay I think.

...

Probably it was Wirwox? The website people also used to buy a currency for a vidéo game (second life?)
Yeah, they closed in January last year.
Thanks! that's it!

I forgotten totally the name but in my head if somebody mentions it, I'll definitely remember it.
3740  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PayPal and BTC on: June 06, 2021, 10:34:15 PM
I remember I've used one but I forgot the name of that exchange and its website's design is very simple yet fine.

They've closed I think last year or two years ago. I'm trying to find that particular exchange that has the SLL / BTC conversion. But I cannot find any article on it, google search don't show the results from years ago.
