However, I assure you that we're not going anywhere. We live here in Silicon Valley and we've been teaching Ethereum development (for free) to the community for close to 7 months. ... We're extremely transparent and our address (right beside NVIDIA btw) is all over our legal materials. You're welcome to take a look. We're here because we truly love the project and want to grow it into a real success.

We love to see pics or videos posted here of your "Silicon Valley" office.  Grin

The DevTalk video was a presentation by the Lunyr cofounders to a group of Ethereum Developers Community meetup members. The presentation was hosted and filmed in the conference room of our office. You can find the meetup information here. Compare the address on that meetup with the address on our materials. You can also contact the participants to verify.
Really great intro to Lunyr.
Hope to see an in-depth explanation of Lunyrs internal structure soon.
3722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2017 and WHY !!! on: April 07, 2017, 06:13:18 PM
Looks like a lot of alt prices are dropping today - I wonder if the massive altcoin pump is finally coming to an end... I hope not
I don't think it's just a normal "pump". There is actually more and more fiat flooding into cryptos.

Thank you smoothie. My girlfriend received her coin. Here are some picture:

The coin looks great!

Again, thanks a lot, another step to get her more interested in cryptocurrencies.

can this technology be used in other games, somehow?
yes, that's part of the plan. to bring in more games from over developers when the system is ready.
Any reason why u haven't listed my translation to German yet?

Hey, just realized you haven't added my German translation I posted in the older thread to your list.
Here is the Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1827257.msg18192207

btw: I wish this crowdsale would last longer! Only four days seems very short. Looks like marketing of the team is not ideal atm. For example I personally need about 10 more days to have funds available again to invest.

3727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LUNYR - Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum - 10000 ETH Raised on: April 06, 2017, 02:45:03 PM
I understand your viewpoint and do agree that it appears to add the feeling of safety. However, it's hard to predict how much ETH to periodically release given that the price is extremely volatile. You've seen it drop to $7 at one point and go up to $50 at another. At any given moment it could be either too much or not enough and kill the company, which is actually unsafe for investors. We've had a lot of discussions internally and it's something we seriously considered.

However, I assure you that we're not going anywhere. We live here in Silicon Valley and we've been teaching Ethereum development (for free) to the community for close to 7 months. The company is incorporated in the U.S. and abides by proper rules and regulations. We've spent a lot of our own resources and given up huge opportunity costs. We're extremely transparent and our address (right beside NVIDIA btw) is all over our legal materials. You're welcome to take a look. We're here because we truly love the project and want to grow it into a real success.

That was my point when Ether price started pumping, Altcoin is a very volatile market and before you say jack robinson is has pumped or dumped. I have no doubt the target will be reached, I can see this has a blessing for investors because that means the token is not oversold and again prevent dumping since there is no bonus for early investors
Totally agree. We will also probably see a huge bump of ETH invested during the last few days of the ICO as people don't have much incentive to invest early (no bonus structure).
When the developement begins this project will grow slowly but steadily. It can actually become one of the biggest in the crypto-space imo.

Everyone, please do not respond to Gembitz / quote what he says.  He seems to thrive on attention.  Starve him, and he will fade away.
This. The ignore button is a cutie, first time I use it, works so well!

Website looks pretty good!
I got a few question, though:

1. What does the luck factor exactly mean: "LUCK: 0.126 Days"

2. Also, you pay every minute, but only if a block was found, right? Is there any info to when the last block was found?

3. In the Worker Stats Tab, there is "shares". Payouts are calculated by myshares/totalshares?

Wow, LBRY finally in the top10 of cryptos:

3734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The Scarab Experiment (Official) on: April 03, 2017, 08:40:24 PM
Any news? Very quiet here...

Hello Kryptowerk, we're actively working, here are some highlights:

1. 65 Days until artist submissions begin going through the system. Countdown at http://thescarabexperiment.org

2.Crowdsale for Scarab Tokens is ongoing.

3.We are working on acquiring more sponsors and partnerships, last week we announced our newest sponsor: http://cryptoartgallery.org/
Ah great, good to see some actual progress.
I like the cryptoart gallery. UK is a bit far away for me, though.

Are there any guidelines about what kind of art is accepted? Can it be a (high-quality) photo of a painting or drawing? A rendered image? Any limitations?
3735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: April 03, 2017, 08:35:35 PM

Byteball can store the public records that need to be accessible and very secure at the same time.  Im not talking about .pdfs or something big, but hashes of the important documents e.g. contracts, patents, algorithms etc. It can be the ultimate resource to prove ownership or integrity. Paying 1$ per 1Kb to store this important data tamperproof and for eternity wouldn't seem too unrealistic. That would price 1GB = 1000$ and give a total valuation of exact 1,000,000,000$  Cool
1$ per KByte would mean $1.000.000 per 1GByte. If you meant 1$ per 1MByte then I wasn't too far off with my 66,63ct/MByte.  Wink

Wow, I just realized, the future for Byteball isn't looking bad at all:

Can someone explain if the "earned interest" in the Agama wallet works correctly?

For 2000 KMD I only got 0.00448 KMD interest earned over more than 5 days. This can't be correct, or am I missing something?

I believe there is a known bug around interest payments that will be fixed in next build.

Thanks for the info!

BTW: Future of Komodo is looking awesome: https://steemit.com/fiction/@xwerk/cryptocurrency-market-cap-in-the-year-2020-or-bitcoin-ethereum-komodo-monero-bitcore-steem-decred-byteball-litecoin-lbry Wink

I don't get it, I just checked the crowdsale document again and noticed that I got REJECTED as status. What is the reason? - I had been using my signature all the time and still have it.
My status also was accepted just a few days ago. I hope this is a mistake...

There is some misunderstanding, in the OP it wasn't mentioned about avatar is its bonus thing or mandatory. That's why I rejected you  Smiley. Will correct it.

Anyone else if you have any issue just post here, Try to solve it.

Regards

Thanks a lot for sorting this out!
Have a great week.
