3741  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum sent transaction lost on: March 03, 2022, 10:52:32 AM
Hi, im relatively new when it comes to crypto transactions.

I recently send about 200$ worth of bitcoins to what I thought was another wallet of mine.

The I have not received the bitcoin and the transaction info says it's confirmed 400+ times.
It shows transaction ID & output.

Is there any way to see to which wallet/websites I have sent my crypto? I have another wallet, kraken and aanother website I usually use but none of these have received crypto. What do I do?

Thanks so much in beforehand
Find out the address to which you sent that coins and then compare it with the address of the wallets/platforms/website that you have, and if you do not care about your privacy, you can share your TX ID with us here.

Unfortunately, unless you manage that address, it is difficult to recover money that was wrongly sent to another address.

If you are sure that you have pasted the correct address, try copying and pasting another address. If the addresses are different, it is better to format your device.
3742  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Samsung Galaxy phones encryption flaw on 100 million devices on: March 03, 2022, 10:06:52 AM
I think what is being talked about are two-factor authentication codes, biometric locks or passwords but that doesn't mean the wallet will be hacked or the private key will be leaked.

If access to that data was easy, we would have heard of dozens of wallet hacks and the loss of a lot of money.
In general, you should be careful and only generate private keys on devices that have not and will not be connected to the Internet.
You should also avoid random downloading of apps and avoid random clicking on links.
3743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do daytraders store their crypto? on: March 03, 2022, 09:46:01 AM
Withdrawal fees are not a problem as many people compare withdrawal fees between platforms and compare prices based on some altcoins or some blockchain.
you can check them using ---> https://withdrawalfees.com/ to find lowest exchange withdrawal fees.
also some blockchain have small withdrawal fees such as BSC but I highly recommending you to stay away from it.

you will find that the withdrawal fees in TRON, and Polygon are the cheapest, and that an altcoin such as Litecoin has cheaper withdrawal fees in general.

Note that: Day trading is often about less than 10% of the total assets allocated for trading.
3744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC/ETH trading pair Bot on: March 03, 2022, 09:00:08 AM
I think bots in crypto trading are not reliable and better you can contiune manual trade btc or eth rather than through bots.

Secondly can i ask that how do you perfectly time the market. Suppose, eth is high and you sell it for btc but what if the eth contiune going high and you do not get the chance to buy back the eth at lower prices ? In depth explaination can help others also take this btc/eth pair trades.  Smiley
Who cares, you will have a bitcoin that will rise, both assets have a future value and therefore, in any case, their value will rise against USD, the only loss will be an accounting loss, not a financial loss.

Generally, I do this with about 10% to 15% of my trading funds which is always less than 1 ETH.

Buying/selling is always at support and resistance points, which depends mainly on the difference in timing between the price of bitcoin when rising and altcoin prices.
3745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question - Lost bitcoin? on: March 03, 2022, 08:45:28 AM
Private key/wallet seed is a unique, random number that cannot be duplicated, with which you manage the public key/address.

When you send to an address, and that transaction is confirmed, that transaction is added to the block, so when you connect to your wallet it scans all the blocks and then finds that transaction.

In other words, the addresses that are generated will not be known to anyone if you do not send them (include them in the block) unless someone knows your pvt keys/seed.

If anyone knows your keys/seed, he will not only be able to find out your addresses but also send money.

3746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBAY might accept BITCOIN on: March 03, 2022, 08:05:05 AM
It's the sixth or seventh time I've heard of this kind of news but I don't think accepting bitcoins will be an event that affects the price (unless they have bought a few thousand of Bitcoins)

PayPal accepted Bitcoin and there was no effect, so how to accept the bitcoin and the possibility of depositing and withdrawing will determine the extent of the impact of the news, although it will not change the price significantly (increase up to 10% to 20%)

In general, do not take this news seriously or as an indicator of investment.
3747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Family on: March 03, 2022, 07:27:37 AM
It is suitable for a YouTube channel or a story in a magazine or other, but we cannot consider it a model for everyone to invest 100% in Bitcoin.
The couple seems to want to change the traditional lifestyle and start a new life, and Bitcoin may represent a tool for freedom, especially if you are interested in such technology.

Don't forget the 0% tax on cryptocurrencies and that the family has travelled to more than 40 countries which will be good if you have bitcoin
3748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses Russian Ruble - now top 15 currency on: March 03, 2022, 07:06:37 AM
If we look at the market value of  Russian ruble, we will find that its value is much lower than many emerging economies such as Brazil or Spain, and therefore it will not have an effect linking the price of the ruble to the price of Bitcoin.
Paper money calculates its value from commercial exchanges and the economic strength of the state, and therefore it is linked to political factors rather than just economic aspects.
Bitcoin is not linked to stocks and politics although it can be affected by accompanying events.
3749  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying USDT in block deal. on: March 02, 2022, 02:34:17 PM
I'm looking for trading partners to buy USDT in block deals. 50,000 to 100,000 USDT at a time.
I along with my partners, run a registered company and we follow all KYC compliance requirements from local jurisdictions.
We can trade in USD, EURO, AED, and SGD.

I don't know, but this place is not suitable for registered companies that want to buy and sell bitcoin for thousands of dollars, but it is suitable for individuals who are looking for medium and small amounts (definitely less than 50 thousand)

In general, it is wrong for a registered company to search for bitcoins from unknown people on the Internet and I do not think that anyone would be serious about doing transactions with an known account that claims to be operated by a registered company.

can your provide us your register number?

Your Home page response is slow. I don't know if the problem is due to a technical problem or because of cloudflare.
anyway from your F.A.Q

Do you have a UK registration address? And if you have, how will you not ask the user to verify the identity?
Or are there certain sizes/limits before asking for KYC?

I tried to do the transfer and he gave me this address, can you prove it belongs to the platform?

3751  Economy / Service Discussion / Steam removed bitcoin because half of transactions were fraudulent on: March 02, 2022, 01:07:02 PM
Steam wasn't on the Bitcoin train for long. Bitcoin was introduced as a payment method on Steam in April 2016 and removed in December 2017 due to the volatility of Bitcoin's price and "a significant increase in the fees to process transactions on the Bitcoin network,"

Quote
"The problem is that a lot of the actors who are in that space are not people you want interacting with your customers," Newell said. "We had problems when we started accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment option. 50% of those transactions were fraudulent, which is a mind-boggling number. These were customers we didn't want to have."

Newell reiterated that Bitcoin's fluctuations were "a complete nightmare"—people weren't happy when a game could cost $10 one day and $100 the next.

Source --> https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/50-of-transactions-were-fraudulent-when-steam-accepted-bitcoin-for-payments-says-gabe-newell/

In the end he concluded by saying that it is not something we want to do, but we are forced because we do not want to enable the corruption of large numbers of our customers Huh It's the weirdest excuse to stop accepting bitcoin, even stranger than environmental and sustainability issues.
3752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to use the correct address in the airdrop? on: March 02, 2022, 12:31:57 PM
Your advice is good for beginners but I don't recommend that you share the same ETH/BSC address to many airdrops, those are the ones that have your coins and you use them personally so it's best to set up a dedicated wallet for each BSC airdrop and choose the best one for ethereum one.

Using a trust wallet may be appropriate, but it is closed source, so it is better to use an open source wallet like NEW wallet[1] or MetaMask[2].

Using the wrong address may not mean that you completely waste your money, and you should not share your private key with anyone.

3753  Bitcoin / Legal / EU Lawmakers Drop Bitcoin 'Ban' From Draft of Crypto Regulations on: March 02, 2022, 11:42:56 AM
European Union lawmakers have scrapped a section of a pending bill that could have made it illegal for crypto services to deal in coins based on proof-of-work

Quote
The Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) bill, put to the European Parliament by a coalition spearheaded by Stefan Berger, was set for a vote on Monday, February 28. But it was delayed late last week after many in parliament objected to a paragraph regarding proof of work.

Berger confirmed today that paragraph 61 (9c) of the bill has been removed altogether, though the vote has yet to be rescheduled.

Source ---> https://decrypt.co/94157/eu-lawmakers-drop-bitcoin-ban-draft-crypto-regulations

MiCA has the potential to reshape the adoption of cryptocurrency in Europe and the concern of regulators appears to be that these digital currencies must meet 'minimum environmental sustainability criteria' by 2025.

In general, with all the current economic problems, will we hear of a "ban" of Bitcoin soon? At least in European countries?
3754  Other / Meta / Re: Extended Ranks Proposal on: March 02, 2022, 11:04:25 AM
If we think about it well, adding more ranks may increase the work of mods because it means an increase in the number of posts and thus an increase in the possibility of spamming.

The only beneficiary will be the signature campaigns, as it means that it is easy to distinguish high-ranking accounts with the possibility of giving them a little more money than the rest of other members.

Currently there is no point to add more ranks, perhaps it is better to focus on getting things like a custom title, new Positions (like VIP, Donator) a special star and so on.

Currently, there is no difference between a hero and a legendary member.
3755  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Localbitcoins slowly dying? on: March 02, 2022, 09:42:49 AM
They do not die, but the increase in competition made their share of customers decrease, and I also think that sellers are using that site to find buyers for the first time and then move to other sites (direct trading without escrow, Localcryptos or others. Just as we use Facebook groups and then move to Telegram)

In general, there is no longer anything attractive except the customer base, which decreases over time, so if platforms like Bisq are developed, they will lose a large part of these customers, and then we will say that they are dying.
3756  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Russian mixers, might this be a problem? on: March 02, 2022, 09:05:16 AM
I do not expect a mixer to provide official registration papers and a license to work in a country, and I also do not think that a country will give that mixer that license. Therefore, it is difficult or almost impossible to know the location of the mixer.

It is possible to know and trace the source of the coins and therefore using a mixer such as CoinJoins means that more central services may know the source of your funds.
Generally what are you trying to look for here?

If you want to break the link between your input and output, using centralized or decentralized platforms that do not require identity verification or any central mixer will suffice.

But if you want to be 100% anonymous, Bitcoin is not the right option or at least you have to be careful and professional (manage full node, Tor, broadcast transactions yourself, etc.).
3757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pulsechain: A Better Alternative to Ethereum? on: February 27, 2022, 02:23:11 PM
Most people are trying to find solutions to ETH problems because many people are using and therefore the idea of building a new blockchain (hard fork) needs a lot of development and resources to be a real alternative to Ethereum network, which is something that needs a good team as most altcoins are trying to be better than ETH.

As for the low fees and speed of confirmations, it is possible on Ethereum network and therefore it is not a hot topic that pushes people to invest in these currencies.
3758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins That Go Up When Whole Crypto Market Goes Down? on: February 27, 2022, 01:46:45 PM
These currencies have small market capacities. When there is a change in supply by a percentage such as 10 million dollars, you will find that the currency has increased by 100%, but due to the limited liquidity, it is difficult to liquidate a large amount, especially since the currency is listed on certain platforms. In short, this type of currency is divided into:

 - pumping and dumping coins: Whatever the reason for pumping, what happens will affect the price, the growth will be unhealthy, price is volatile and the collapse is rapid.
 - Increased demand: This can happen if there is a compelling reason, and therefore growth will be healthy and low in the long run

Therefore, it is difficult to make a profit from such an investment, do not let greed control you.
3759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need team for upcoming project on: February 27, 2022, 01:38:43 PM
You can't get a good staff if you don't pay and pay with the tokens, it is considered non-payment because you don't trust the value of those tokens, otherwise you will keep them and sell BNB cuz your token will worth more.

In general, you can pay with any cryptocurrency, and when your project succeeds, you will achieve a lot, and therefore you must pay an initial value. You cannot build a project without any initial money.
3760  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WAYS OF INTRODUCING MATTERS on: February 27, 2022, 01:16:29 PM
in order to reduce the cause of this problem we should introduce the forum or the platform as where knowledge is been passed and not telling them about the juicy benefits part of the forum.
I think the forum has created a YouTube channel where you can find a better definition about the forum. TheBitcoinTalkShow - 5 feb - Bitcointalk was hacked
YouTube is a favourite place for people, where if a channel is set up and content is supported, you will find many people correcting their ideas about making quick profits in this forum.
Overall, signature campaigns weren't as easy as in the past, so I don't think someone would look for 250 days and collect enough merit to make about $50 a week.
