3741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dashing towards $10k or more on: June 16, 2019, 07:30:09 AM
If we hit the milestone of 10k it would be a great sign for further improvement.
However, there are a lot of sellers on the way and I think that the price is going to drop immediately.
3742  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-16] Bitcoin Hits Year-To-Date Highs As Litecoin Soars on: June 16, 2019, 07:24:41 AM
I'm interested to see where the price is going to stop this year. This increase was unexpected to me.
Also, I am monitoring Litecoin during the last days and I don't see any reason that it grows so fast. Do we have any clue?
3743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has the dip passed? on: June 16, 2019, 07:21:29 AM
Though the market tells the dip is over but it can come anytime soon! Because bitcoin needed to touch the under 3K USD but it didn't! Though those were prediction but still I can't be sure that the dip is over. Bitcoin price went to 9K USD through months, and it can go down to 6K USD within 15 days. So, it is better to play safe!

Indeed. The sharper the increase the sharper the downfall.
I think that the dip has passed at least for this year but I am carefu because of a sudden decrease in the price.
3744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 16, 2019, 07:19:29 AM
Is there any sporstbook that will offer In game betting for these races?
Motor sports is the type of sport where it is easier to predict thew winners after the race has already started
I believe this to be this reason alone why you dont see very many In game betting options for it.

Personally I don't know if there is any sportsbook on the blockchain that would allow you bet on motorsports.
Having said that, try gambling on bet365, I think it gives you live betting options. However, the odds are very low.
3745  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you live in a place that collects your data? on: June 16, 2019, 07:16:02 AM
And I am talking about "smart cities". I was reading this article > https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2018/11/google-sidewalk-labs/575551/

It says: Soon enough, we’ll have a smart city: Sidewalk Labs, a subsidiary of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, is building one “from the internet up,” with help from a series of private-public real-estate partnerships in the downtown Toronto neighborhood Quayside.

The “vision document” imagines not only the revitalization of a 12-acre plot that has sat largely vacant since its heyday as an industrial port, but its transformation into a micro-city outfitted with smart technologies that will use data to disrupt everything from traffic congestion to health care, housing, zoning regulations, and greenhouse-gas emissions.

But all those data require mechanisms to collect them, and the march to an “always on” city has drawn an onslaught of accusations against Sidewalk Labs and its real-estate partner, Waterfront Toronto, for dismissing privacy concerns and misinforming residents. In the past month, four people have resigned from Waterfront Toronto’s and Sidewalk Labs’ advisory board over concerns about privacy and lack of public input.
-
If you were informed beforehand about all these privacy concerns, would you still live in a "smart" city that is supposedly convenient and "smart" to live in?

I would agree to live in a smart city like this one only if I was paid for the data that I would produce. Otherwise, there is not any point of sharing my data. I mean if I don't have any benefit from that.
3746  Other / Politics & Society / Re: IEEE and their restrictions on Huawei to prevent ideas stolen by Huawei & China on: June 16, 2019, 07:14:02 AM
In another step of trade war between the USA and China, recent days the IEEE officially stated about their restrictions on Huawei.
Compliance with U.S. Trade Restrictions Should have Minimal Impact on IEEE Members Around the World
In short:
Quote
IEEE complies with U.S. government regulations which restrict the ability of the listed Huawei companies and their employees to participate in certain activities that are not generally open to the public. This includes certain aspects of the publication peer review and editorial process.

Quote
IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization
Therefore, the impacts of this restriction is huge, but I think that we need more publishers (globally, except Chinese of course) in scientific areas react the same. For a long period of time, there are shady behaviors of Chinese scientists in stealing ideas or works of Eastern scientists via peer-review and editorial procedures. Basically, based on the scientific ethics, after peer-review procedures of articles finished, drafts of those articles have to be wiped out in order to guarentee privacy. Most of Eastern scientists obey the rules, but Chinese scientists won't.
Only IEEE's restriction is not enough to prevent Huawei steals ideas of Eastern scientists because other Chinese whom don't work for Huawei can steal ideas and share them with Huawei later. It happens around the world, not only in IEEE, but also in so many institutes, universities in Australia, USA, and more nations.

In a nutshell, I think not only the USA, but also European Union should act more determinantly and massively. They should recommend around 20.000 scientific and medical journals (not only IEEE) to launch restrictions on Chinese scientists to review or peer-review scientific articles. Chinese should not be easily allowed to see drafts of important articles.

These actions seem unfair to me...
Huawei is a company that brings a lot of value to people and the global economy as well. The world between the US and China should not be reflected in real businesses otherwise this trade war can be turned into a real war.
3747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 16, 2019, 07:09:50 AM
^  They do!  They've been spending serious amount of money on transfers for the last two summer transfer windows.

And if he wants to play first squad football every weekend, it's at Everton.

That's makes Everton 's position worse.
They spend amounts of money like this one for players and they cannot compete even for Europa League... Premier league is a difficult championship but when you spend too much money you have to see results on the pitch...
3748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat = real money, Bitcoin = crap According to Kevin O'Leary on: June 16, 2019, 07:07:17 AM
He states his opinion and it is fully respected.
He can believe whatever he likes. For him real money is Fiat money because he can use it in his everyday life. This is a reason to corellate it as real money and maybe this is the reason he does so.
3749  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Socialism is so bad that it allows poor people to live. Horrible true story on: June 16, 2019, 07:04:43 AM
The only socialism there is, is in prisons. People who don't like socialism move out. People die everywhere... not only in socialism.

Cool

The fact is the way they die.
It is very sad to consider socialism an equal political way of ruling such as all the others that exist right now.
People don't have the same skills, we are different... So socialism cannot work.
3750  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you describe the situations of the crypto market today? on: June 16, 2019, 07:00:23 AM
today on 15/06/2019 I see the condition of cryptocurrency price movement is very good, it can be seen from the price of bitcoin that can recover prices and can reach a price of $8000, I hope price movements like this will always occur so that the end of the year bitcoin prices can become very expensive.
I see no difference on the market right now, its pretty cool green candle and it makes me smile. The price of bitcoin is better again, we are pumping but don’t get too much excited it can be stopped anytime. Can we see the price of $9k or we need to sleep more and wait for tomorrow comes? Well let’s wait for the time to tells it.
Today Bitcoin has broken the price of more than $ 9k, hopefully this will continue, considering that this year is still in mid-2019, hopefully by the end of the year Bitcoin can break the highest price on left candle

That was a huge increase. If I want to believe that the future of Bitcoin is bright I want to see a respective increase in the price of the alt coins. This will only show me That the market is stable.
3751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 16, 2019, 06:57:22 AM
Shoutout to those Lebron fans who switched to Toronto Raptors after Los Angeles Lakers didn't reach playoffs, and now they are back now to Los Angeles Lakers because of Anthony Davis  Grin

I am a LeBron fan but didn't switch to Raptors immediately.
Firstly, I turned my hopes on Bucks and Giannis... Then, Raptors disqualified the Bucks and I started hating the Raptors.
But between Raptors and warriors I went for the Raptors! 😂
3752  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin about to go really high on: June 15, 2019, 02:23:10 PM
There is no doubt that the Bitcoin price will go high, but I am sure Bitcoin will not hit 25K to 30K USD within 3 months or even in this year. The market chart looks very well, but look at the market condition, It is still not that good to hope BTC at 25K USD!

Investors are more vigilant now.
Without a clear use of bitcoin in our every day life we are not going to see a price of more that 15k in my opinion. From that level and above people will think carefully and they are going to sell easier that to buy.
3753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which way will it go? Which trend will it follow? on: June 15, 2019, 02:15:12 PM

There is another trendline that it can follow, the one that goes upwards in the chart.
You didn't design it and in my opinion it is going to follow that way not any other of those which you have already designed.
3754  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin has reached 8000$, then what? on: June 15, 2019, 02:13:33 PM
beware and dont buy now
prices pumped hard
the real price 4000 usd per btc

Oh mate. Even if that was the case no one is going to trust you.
Don't say something in here when you don't have the analysis to support it. You have to state the reason why you believe so otherwise, just don't write this crap.
3755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $9,000 by the end of the year on: June 15, 2019, 02:09:52 PM
Your observation was great, mate! Bitcoin has reached the 9K USD already, and it is yet to go there again! So, our prediction is matching now, so, we can hope for a better price for the bitcoin. I saw some thread about BTC at 25K USD, now I believe that is possible within this year!

It hasn't reach this level. Don't spread fake news please.
Even those 400$ is a considerable amount that could take a lot of time to be built in the chart.
Don't spread fomo and try to rely your opinion on clear facts. Not just speculation and hype.
3756  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: June 15, 2019, 02:06:50 PM
I also doubt will dissapear as long as we have people who use it, miners and nodes who will maintain network on and exchanges and merchants who accept it bitcoin will have long life.

Bitcoin is Finite no matter how long it takes bitcoin will eventually ran out one day but before that happens a new cryptocurrency will probably emerge that will be able to replace bitcoin. it may not be as good as bitcoin but it will be the one who continue the Bitcoin legacy.

Bitcoin's notion and concept is great but I think it is now the best.
There are many better projects and cryptocurrencies than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is just the first and the most trusted right now. If all coins are lost one day there could be a fork and the chain can come back to normal easily.
3757  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bad "good" news. on: June 15, 2019, 02:03:26 PM
Everyone must have a source of verified news instead of relying to some online news which sources are not accurate. Most of the online media report any development without looking into it to be able to be the first one to report it to the public. Another one is reading the headlines only, a lot of people read the headline and believe it without reading the full report. So it better to read the news fully and research it if you have doubt on the report.
I really do not trust anyone but my own prediction and my own analyses because I know no one is fair and good with me so they can guide me well as I can myself,. Bad new and good news can come and go but only foolish can trust them wise and intelligent people only trust their own prediction.

That is the best anyone should do.
The market is full of manipulators who spread bad and good news for their own benefit. Everyone should make their own analysis before making any decisions because after all is about risking their own money.
3758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 15, 2019, 10:02:10 AM

With a summer transfer that is still wide open, surely the club that wants to bring in every player is always eagerly awaited. I just read from EOL Esporte that David Neres is a Brazil forward who is targeted by two clubs, PSG and Everton for £35 million. What is your opinion ?

Would Everton have the ability to spend so much money on a player?
I think that it would be wiser if they give 35m and buy two or maybe three players.
3759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 14, 2019, 04:30:18 AM
So we have a new Champion!!
Who could ever imagine that Raptors are going to be the winners?
Congratulations to them and Leonard totally deserved a ring. He was amazing through out the whole series.
3760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 13, 2019, 06:45:36 PM
I predict Sebastian will not be extending his contract in Ferrari after maybe retire. It is now very clear that there is nothing for him in that team.

However, maybe he might come back and reunite with Christian Horner and Adrian Newey in Redbull and become a championship team again hehehehe.

After the recent even in Canada and the disappointment that he had with FIA's decision, another option is to see him driving in the WRC rally next season. Nothing is impossible  Grin
