3762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone pay for slandering gambling websites on Bitcointalk? on: March 10, 2020, 02:39:17 PM
It could be yes or maybe no but most cases must have solid proof towards what they claim and I think we can't identify if that is slandering or they had pay for it just to ruin the image of the gambling sites.

In the gambling business sector, we can't deny the fact that there is a competition with each other. So, probably it will may happen there is slandering but it depends on how the strong proof they had. There must be a strong solid proof but if none that is clearly slandering or they feel jealous.
3763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Means of Donation on: March 10, 2020, 02:05:41 PM
Yet, this is a good news part of Bitcoin because it means it becomes more popular. Bitcoin as a means of donation uses worldwide is just help to have massive adoption and encourage more groups of people to use this. Probably because these charity sectors will also have benefit from accepting Bitcoin or crypto donation.

Imagine that you can easily collect and move funds through digital currency across borders is so fast and convenient way. Not just only locally but this is also all over the world.

Reply above was right, this is because of transparency through distributed ledger technology eases data sharing that everyone sees publicly.
That is the reason why more organizations in charity sectors are jumped into using crypto in collecting funds.
3764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 10, 2020, 10:13:52 AM
That's right if you think you can't afford to spend in gambling it's better to stop for a while. For me, that's why I'm rare to gamble because there is always a shortage of my salary. I can't spare the fund in gambling because I know I have my priorities than gambling. So, that's a good and wise decision if you are going to stop for a while.

You can always back in gambling anytime you want at your convenient time and with your extra money without thinking about other problems. Because not all the time we had always money, there will time we encounter an economic crisis and we should be ready if we have our own personal savings.
3765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amid Growing Covid-19 Concerns Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for US Stock Traders? on: March 09, 2020, 01:59:41 PM
Probably only 15% of us stock traders are familiar with the bitcoin. And I wouldn't personally consider Bitcoin as a safe haven.
Bitcoin's value is very volatile to be considered as a haven. It also has an expensive way of storing compared to the stock market and solid assets such as golds, silver, and realty.

The real safe haven since day one of the corporate world is properties. It is the reality that solid assets are the ones you would always consider as it will never depreciate and is always appreciate its value. And that is the stock trader's option to safeguard their investments.
3766  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: South Korean Lawmakers Greenlight Strict Crypto AML Bill on: March 09, 2020, 01:35:35 PM
I admire how serious South Korea is in combatting money laundering and terrorism. It's a good example of a government and it's care to his people's security. Global AML is really one thing to be considered by the globe to avoid Money Laundering too.

I remember the news in our country where the Chinese nationals were using bitcoin to clean their dirty money to avoid taxes. But our country made an immediate action to monitor and confirm if the transactions are legit and fully documented for taxes, and found out that the transactions were there to save the money from taxes. The Chinese nationals who did the transactions are now banned from our country and then 6 months after the incident, their names showed on the national news again and their money was being kept in a hotel.

People will always find ways to hide their hard ^ earned money.
3767  Economy / Economics / Re: corona Vírus doesn't affect bitcoin price on: March 09, 2020, 01:01:08 PM
Corona Virus doesn't affect the Bitcoin's price. But the health of the people is. Maybe this time, we should focus on securing ourselves and our loved ones that know if it would affect the market or not.

I heard that people were saying that the Novel Corona Virus was intentionally released to hard cryptocurrencies but that really is a big no. Just because the price of the Bitcoin was not affected by the Corona Virus doesn't mean it is the interest of the cryptocurrency whales to harm the Bitcoin and release the virus. Coincidence happens daily. This one is a very simple coincidence. The Bitcoin's price went up because of the halving and not because of the NCOV. IMO
3768  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Now Fully Legal in South Korea on: March 09, 2020, 12:37:35 PM
Frankly, the government doesn't find bitcoin as an option for the users to protect their savings from dangers associate with hyperinflation and defaults. But they only see it as a disruption method and a leak from the loopholes of the government's taxation law. They just covered it by putting taxation and the cryptocurrency is almost no different than the stocks already.

The reason why the users were putting their assets on bitcoin before was the taxation. And now that it is being taxed, what will be the point then? Technically, no but just as an investment.

Just my two sats!
3769  Economy / Economics / Re: Help of cryptocurrency in globalization. on: March 09, 2020, 12:10:45 PM
I respect your perspectives and I understand how you see cryptocurrency on your own. However, cryptocurrency was already considered and tested by the big corporations and entrepreneurs already. But the cryptocurrency failed to meet the standard that corporations are considering to adopt a technology. They were concerned about the speed and the process and the cryptocurrency just failed to meet their standards.

In the other side, the Blockchain technology was already adopted and revised by the companies globally and those companies are already using the blockchain technology for their daily operations already. And for me, that is the best thing the cryptocurrency could give to the economy. IMO
3770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 10 Best Crypto Exchanges - Which one do you use the most? on: March 09, 2020, 11:44:42 AM
I prefer to review a comparison list of a crypto exchange than a recommendation list like this. I dont know from the top 10 crypto exchanges maybe there are 1-2 exchanges that still may consider as good aside from Binance that we know the most reliable exchange.

Op, you can't fool people in this forum by your funny list of the best crypto exchange which is obviously not. And obviously, you are here for the free ads in your site but the fact it is not interesting at all because of the content are not convincible.
3771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: March 08, 2020, 03:24:10 PM
You still sold it even though you know that you didn't gain profit?
That was a wrong move there because you enter the market, not in perfect timing. If you see that your profit was not there you can hold it for another year until you will see a profit. To be honest, Bitcoin investment is not a short term investment. It needs patient until when you have it.

Don't do panic selling when there's a correction of price come because there is always resistance after that, panic selling it means you accept your losses.
3772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction threads on: March 08, 2020, 03:01:03 PM
For sure, forum members that keep joining the discussion about gambling they know what is gambling addiction and they are educated well about this. We are lucky here because since the start we know those consequences may occur (a gambling addiction) in the future. So, I think everyone can control their selves and didn't come to the point of addiction.

Yes, we've seen a lot of thread regarding gambling addictions and I know most us aware of those and know already how to cure and avoid gambling addiction if you are regular poster in gambling section. We're lucky enough we have a community like this.
3773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 08, 2020, 10:50:19 AM
I don't know why there are too many gamblers who say they are addicted to gambling. If they know what is the consequences and become addicted, probably at the early stage they will stop gambling or moderately used gambling. So, from the start, you can avoid this addiction stage. But all of these was depend on you, you should know how to discipline your self. It's started all with you.

All OP's stated above was helpful and maybe that is the right way to cure gambling addicts. We could not cure addictions through our selves, we should have a family, friends or parents to guide us. Mental illness is not curable in a short period of time, it takes time to recover.
3774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Blockchain in Hollywood Movies on: March 08, 2020, 10:24:45 AM
if I'm not mistaken, things that smell of cryptocurrency also appear on Deadpool movies, it's just that I don't know whether Deadpool goes into Hollywood Movies or not.
I also noticed this movie Deadpool talking about cryptocurrency on their line script.

Actually I have created a thread last year in our local the same like this. A movie that has a scene of Bitcoin and Blockchain but I dont know if this belongs to Holywood movies. The title of the movie is "Unfriended: Darkweb". And the story was related to Bitcoin when a guy saw a laptop that has a 15 Bitcoin that owned by the hacker. But I don't like the whole concept of this movie when it comes to the credibility of Bitcoin.

Unfriended: Darkweb
3775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 08, 2020, 09:09:12 AM
Explaining about Bitcoin to 4-5 persons is not bad because you can teach them very well. I thought you have been conducted a seminar in a conference room with teens to hundreds of people listening to you.

That is great mate, I know it's hard to explain about Bitcoin and probably it will take more time to explain from basic to crucial steps of storing your Bitcoin in a safe wallet. I hope you explain this very well not just because of the profit they will earn, they should understand how Bitcoin works and the blockchain system behind it. The most important is the consequences that may happen in the future.

It's a great job, I hope there are more people know about Bitcoin through your help. It will help to have massive adoption.
3776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Value of technical analysis vs sentiment for you on: March 08, 2020, 08:44:23 AM
Any analysis won't give you accurate forecasting in trading volume resistance but if I'm going to choose the technical analysis over sentiment analysis. I prefer the TA. Yes, probably most traders are using this now, a simple drawing in a few lines on the chart price and now you have your own TA.

TBH, I'm not relying on this TA. Instead, much better is to develop your trading strategy and skill. Because sometimes we lose on trading because of our greed. Don't aim too much high percentage of profit, I prefer to gain profit even 1% but it is continuously gaining. Conservative in trading sometimes is a must.

Sentiment analysis? That is NOT needed, IMO.
3777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a Days there is no charm to work in Bounties? on: March 08, 2020, 06:59:36 AM
Bounty Hunters work hard but did not get any Reward. What will be the Solution of This Problem.
As I can say, the manager of the bounty campaign knows better. So, to reduce the risk choose those managers that already handled successful projects because once they accept that project to manage they knows everything and they are not promoting scam project because it might ruin their reputation.

You can also do your own research, but it won't give us an assurance of how successful a project we participated with. I'm a bounty hunter last year but I stopped because I didn't have profit on it. If a project willing to pay bounty hunters with BTC, USD or ETH. I assume they are legit ones because willing to spend big amounts, not their fancy token.
3778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esport Betting website worth it? on: March 07, 2020, 03:23:21 PM
I think most people here are users or gamblers, even me I can't estimate how much the actual cost if you make an Esport betting platform.

Aside from  having a good functioning website with a great UI, what else do you think the users would like?
It has been almost all mentioned above but let me add something on my own.
  • It should be had a feature of where to watch esports online, there should be a live stream in esports matches on the platform
  • Of course, as always there is a quick answer from your support team when the user has a problem not just a bot
  • Proper regulations
  • The last one is a great odds level
3779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not suitable as a currency, it's a store of value on: March 07, 2020, 02:03:10 PM
I want to ask a question, if there is a Bitcoin ATM card, and you want to use it to pay bills such as an hotel booking, will the payment reflect instantly while the atm machine or Miners still has to process the transaction?
Bitcoin ATM isn't necessary right now since we can create a transaction thru digital phones only or other digital things.
That's right it's not necessary because other establishments used QR codes when accepting Bitcoin as a payment. I dont think if there is a Bitcoin ATM card, all I know is a Bitcoin ATM machine where you can buy/sell your Bitcoin.

As mentioned above, the Lightning Network will solve the problem for micro payment and it is faster than the regular transaction of Bitcoin.
If you don't understand what is Lightning Network you can read it here for more info, A Beginner's guideline to Bitcoin Lightning Network.

I dont think Bitcoin can replace fiat, they had a different function and both of them are useful to us. Just accept the fact that Bitcoin is good for an alternative when it comes to payment transactions online. Yet, Bitcoin is the number of digital currency I had ever known.
3780  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you prefer to buy bitcoin or do bitcoin mining? on: March 07, 2020, 12:45:53 PM
Investing in cloud mining, for me, I think it's like "put part of the fund in a bank with low rate", the rate may be low, but it's growing slowly. Of course, you have to know the basic factors which impacting the mining profit and you can adjust your strategy. Win or lose depends on your decisions.
Don't risk your money to invest in cloud mining, the reply of @gentlemand was right most of them are Ponzi scheme and probably didn't tell the truth if they are real miners. So, it's better to avoid this kind of investment platform.

How I wish before to have mining equipment but I discourage when I knew in my place it's too expensive for the electric bill. I read articles that it is good to mine Bitcoin if you are in a cold place, you can save for energy consumption.

I preferred to buy Bitcoin at dip price and accumulate as much as I can without worrying about the electric expenses after the end of the month.
