3761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will not be able to stay above 45k for ten days in a row ever again. on: August 18, 2021, 10:58:19 AM
This is a fun topic, it is definitely good that you took it over, we are going to have many of these, it will not be 50k, it will not be 55, it will not be 60 and all the way up. You know which one I am most excited about? 100K, that is a big milestone, 10k was like that, it took a while for us to get back over 10k after the 2018 bear run, that 10k was so sensitive that we had many many times that we went over it a bit and then crashed, it kept going over it a bit and crashed.

I believe same will happen to 100k as well, which is why I am so excited about the potential of it one day happening. I know it will not be tomorrow, but I know it will not be impossible in the future neither, it is going to be something that will eventually happen one day. Let's hope that it doesn't really take too long, I would love to see that before 2023 hits and that would be a good period.
3762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: August 18, 2021, 05:21:02 AM
Everyone has a specific answer to this, but it all depends on the future and what happens to tether. I mean same tether, nothing changing, could both be zero or be 1 dollar forever. If you are answering based on anything that happened so far, or related to tether you are definitely 100% wrong, it is not about the company behind it, it is not amount to size, it is nothing about that we already know. What would make it zero then?

It would require something bad happening to tether, if there is a government problem, if there is something else, if anything happens in the future that causes a crash? Then we will see it at zero, if nothing happens like that? Then we will not see zero. That is what we should be considering. Many people think that it will be zero for sure, or know it won't be zero for sure, how could you know that right now? That's impossible.
3763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Polkadot and Uniswap Survive? on: August 17, 2021, 08:58:18 PM
I believe that Uniswap and polkadot all depends on the technology they have, if one day everything else improves faster and better while they stay the same then they will not be able to survive, that is just how it is, if you have a small amount of improvement compared to a thousand times improvement from your rivals then you are not going to be liked. Look at the top 10 right now, aside from usdt and doge, what do you see? Plenty of new stuff with many old top 10 gone right? Sure there are some that are still there and have been there for a while, but many new faces as well.

This is why I believe dot and uni will survive until they stop caring, one day they will stop improving and changing, some other great and improved thing will come and take their spots. I am not saying that it will happen tomorrow, but if they do not get better than one day eventually it will happen.
3764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Strategies changes with time on: August 17, 2021, 08:10:53 PM
Main reason for this is the fact that everyone figures out the profitable strategy so you have to get another one. So, let's say there is this X strategy that works, 100 people trade total, 1 of them figures out X, then only he makes money and 99 people lose money, then second person either hears or figures out X as well, now 2 people make money and 98 lose, slowly this number goes up and one day 50 people make money and 50 lose, if you make it higher than it slowly starts to make less and less money for the ones who use X, one day 100 use X and nobody loses, how could that be? You can't have zero losers while having 100 winners, that means nobody wins.

Eventually one realizes Y strategy works as well, while others are making a small profit with X, that Y guy makes even more, and some people realize this and move there, and the whole cycle repeats itself over and over again. Nothing can work forever, only because we can't have every single person profiting, then where would the money come from?
3765  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin doesn't care about Tesla and Amazon on: August 17, 2021, 07:46:54 PM
It is basically because people are investing into it like that is some sort of very important thing and I understand it, it is logical to have something like that. Gold has been a thing for a while that people mainly use to invest and store value, because even if inflation hits, if you have gold then you are usually fine. What are they using it nowadays? I mean sure they use gold mostly but bitcoin is not too far away, eventually we will get there as well.

It means maybe we may not disturb dollar one day, or not central banks or even any bank but one day we could totally disturb gold and its prices because if you remove all the investments on gold and just keep the people who buy gold because they use it? Then gold prices will be very low and that will make bitcoin prices quite high, that is what I believe will happen and that will probably be what happens in the long run.
3766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 17, 2021, 06:51:55 PM
Ancelotti just had a new speech and said that they love Ronaldo at Real and he is a club legend of course but they never considered him this season at all and all the news about Ancelotti wanting CR7 back at the club was a fake news. I estimated that, they wouldn't really want to get him back, there is a reason why they sold him, if they wanted to keep him then they would have done that, he is also getting quite older as well and they are trying to get the team younger, which this would be an inefficient way of doing that.

All in all CR7 seems happy at Juve and how they are playing, dude wasn't interested in winning UCL when he went there, if he was then Juventus wouldn't be the team he would be ok with, everyone including Ronaldo knows that is not going to happen. However, if Mbappe leaves next season then Ronaldo to PSG to play with Messi is a weird feeling but a great entertainment for sure.
3767  Economy / Economics / Re: How to identify high-quality projects in the primary market? on: August 17, 2021, 06:04:49 PM
There are so many things that you have to check, so many things, like the team the community the roadmap the whitepaper and many other things that you have to check. However none of that really matters because on the very early stages of projects, it usually means that we should probably be investing or not invest knowing that 99% of the time it is going to suck big time.

There are so few coins that actually end up being good and that means that we should not be investing with the hopes of making it big, that happens very rarely and that is why having a high hope means we will be upset because of what happened. This of course is not a guarantee, sometimes (very rarely) something goes up, but even the ones that have everything great could end up not being that great at all in the end, which is why we should not be hoping for it to profit us, just throw the dice and hope for the best.
3768  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC approaches resistance on: August 15, 2021, 08:21:59 PM
I would say that we should not be getting too excited constantly. I get that we are doing fine, and I get that the resistance is close and if we can manage to beat it, 50k+ is looking more and more possible, but whenever we go up, there is something that gets us lower for a while.

What we should consider this situation is like the time we were at 30k-40k range, we went up and down constantly, even dropped under 30k at the last run and then went over 40k, same could happen here as well, we could spend 1-2 month between 40k-50k without going over 50k, even having 1-2 times going under 40k and then we could go up over 50k+, meaning I do agree that we will go up, just not right away. We have to be a bit more patient with what we have right now and eventually one day we will have what we want, instead of what we have, and for that we need to be able to wait for it.
3769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 15, 2021, 05:11:04 PM
Honestly there will never be "equally" between teams as long as there is no cap, teams who spend a lot, usually end up being more successful which means they get paid more, and more viewership, more cups, more fans, more merchandise etc etc. When they get all that money then they spend it on even better players and keep this growing. Meanwhile their owners keep injecting cash as much as they can, and cover the losses as much as they can as well.

Financial fair play is good to a point but a team at 10th of premier league could rarely ever have a chance to win in a decade of hard work because it is just not profitable for them to risk it, meanwhile City makes so much money that they can throw 200 million on Kane if they want to and nothing will happen to them, 200 million is more than 99.999999% of clubs worth in the world, only very minority amount of teams have a total worth over that.
3770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 13, 2021, 09:19:43 PM
I am not sure whether Mbappe stays or not, looks like they are doing fine, and we do not have an "official" source yet, its all "sources say.." stuff and we all know how wrong they could be, and if they win the league, the cup, the ucl and super cup of both nation and uefa, then how could they end up losing these players? I really do not think that Mbappe will go if they end up winning everything, how could you leave a club that does that. And if anyone has a chance to do that, I think PSG is the one right now, this season they are that good.

However, if they end up not being able to hold Mbappe and he leaves? Then the plan is to put Ronaldo and Messi on the same team. PSG will have enough money to get Ronaldo next season if Mbappe leaves, and yes neither player is at their peak right now, but they are still stars and that will definitely bring in a lot of money to them.
3771  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bithobo.com — Provably Fair Dream Catcher on: August 13, 2021, 08:22:59 PM
If you look the issue from the beginning, the site accused the player for doing exploit on the games but gives no evidences. Logically, the site should provide valid evidence for the accusation and the player will counter it with his own evidence. The fact, site did not provide evidences and even worst they delete all user's bet history. With this case, how can the player prove his innocence as what you say previously if he is not even able to see his own bets history? The only way to resolve this issue is, bithobo provide the bets history of this player along with its detailed information of each bet (such as server seed) then explain about how this player exploit it as they accused him.
That's true but I think the bithobo already deleted it and there's now way the user can prove his innocence I really don't think it's safe to play in bithobo. I tried to check the website to see if I can access it but it looks like i can't connect to the bithobo, looks like the owner abandoned now the website.
When they are doing something that will not hurt the general gambling community, but only one person that rarely gets enough attention, because it is just one person. Plus, when you are starting a casino, you do usually have 0.0007 which is basically nothing for a casino, why would they bother with "scamming" someone from that little amount of money? They must be making that daily, even if not that, they must be making that weekly at worst.

After all this is a casino and there are some people gambling here, makes no sense to scam people from such a small amount at the risk of never being liked by anyone ever again. This is why basically we should be focusing on the fact that this place did not do this to many people, they did it to just one person, and nobody else ever had a complaint about this place before or after. If this goes on, then we could maybe start to really doubt them.
3772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: August 13, 2021, 05:56:11 PM
Everyone agrees that it is quite risky to invest into meme coins, we all know that they are just there because of the hype and as soon as the hype end they will be gone, however people are still doing it for some reason, just riding the wave for now and make money until they end up losing it all. I do not understand why people are still doing this, there are much better ways to make money, but because they could make money a lot quicker with the meme coin hype world, they are still investing.

Many people I know who invested into doge, did not do it because they believed it was a good coin, they knew that it was a horrible coin. Only reason they actually did it was the fact that they actually ended up making profit and did not get out, saw the hype, and said let’s ride this wave for now and that is why they bought doge and hold as long as they can.
3773  Economy / Economics / Re: "Crypto is no longer in the early adoption stage" on: August 13, 2021, 05:31:33 PM
I sort of respectfully disagree with some parts of this. I do think that we are not in the "early" adoption stage, but we are still in the early stages of crypto as a whole. We are only at under 50k for bitcoin, and that is just bitcoin, we are going to definitely see 500k+ for bitcoin, probably by that time 50k+ for ethereum, and maybe 10k+ for bnb as well. These all depends on rankings and if they stay like this of course, but that is what I believe will happen.

It means that we are more than 10x increase away from the "expected" amount for now, by the time that happens I am sure with inflation and all, we will be expecting even more from crypto too. All in all I believe fiat world is something that goes down all the time, and crypto is something that goes up all the time, which means even at the fully expected prices, it will still keep going up because of it.
3774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 13, 2021, 05:00:35 PM
^I agree that Kawhi staying is a great news for Clippers, however they have proven time and time again that they are not the team everyone expected them to be. Sure they are a good team, and surely they are much better than just a few years ago, they really sucked big time for a while there, from the great "lob city" period to Kawhi+pg period it really didn't look great for them, so this is a lot better.

However, let’s be honest here, they are also not the title contenders that we assumed they would be. Even Suns played on the finals last season which nobody saw coming, so I am not saying that Clippers will not. All I am saying is that they were seen as the heavy heavy heavy favourites, like saw as high as 4.45 for winning the league on their first year. I am not saying they are bad, obviously they are a great team, but at least we can now agree that they are not THAT great.
3775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 12, 2021, 08:42:27 PM
The games Bayern had all friendlies, they didn't have any proper games so far and I do not think that they cared about the friendlies as much as we imagine they would, yes it was definitely a proper opponent, Napoli, Ajax these are all good teams but they didn't care about these games at all because they were friendlies and the only reason they do those games are trying to see strategies and see how the team fits them plus gaining some match shape and that’s it.

I believe when the real league starts, they are going to be so much different. Plus, their new manager Julian was the manager of RB Leipzig las year and managed to make that team nearly fight for a title for a while, Bayern then increased the difference very quickly but they were there for a moment, and definitely overachieved compared to expectations, so I do not think that manager will be a problem.
3776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 12, 2021, 08:19:59 PM
I think the only trouble with Irving and Harden is that, Harden played in a team where he was the leader at all times and he had to carry his team for nearly half of his career, even more, so he is tired of carrying a team and he just wants to ease his way into championship but also do not want to make it too obvious, like he can't just take the minimum and go to Lakers, that would be silly.

However Nets really need him, considering the injury problems all season last year, they really need him, which makes him question why the hell did he bother then, he could have kept carrying Houston anyway. About Irving it is a bit different, dude is a weird dude, like earth is flat type of weird dude, believes in it or not even the discussion is weird, so I really doubt he would be easy to handle on a contract negotiation. Let’s see what happens but I really believe that one of the three may not sign for now, may extend next season, but maybe not now.
3777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are meme/NFT investment really worth the hype they're getting?. on: August 12, 2021, 07:46:38 PM
I think it is not the "hype" this time around, it is the fact that it is something brand new, which means that people want to play those games, and that is definitely something that we should be focusing on, is this called hype? I am pretty sure that it should not be called hype, because in crypto when something is hyped that usually means it is something regarding the price of it, price goes up and then it goes down, but at the early stages the price skyrockets because of the hype.

This is a bit different, it is not "just" about the price, of course it has something to do with it, who would play games to lose money, that would be gambling, but here we have the "gaming" part where people are also having fun, it is way more than just buying something and waiting for weeks to make a profit from it, you buy it then you play with it until it gets bigger (lol) and that is usually very entertaining.
3778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoins Have Good Opportunities in the Next Year on: August 12, 2021, 07:14:53 PM
Certainly ethereum, if we are talking about 2022 as next year then 100% definitely guaranteed ethereum will have a great year. 2.0 is getting closer and closer which means that we are going to definitely see a huge uptick in the price of ethereum, and not just some small thing neither, 2.0 is so important that back in December 2020 the price of ALL cryptos went up when the first 32 batches were started to invest, and it was December 3 or something, after that prices kept going up a bit too.

I am not saying that ALL the bull run was because of ethereum, but it had a part in it for a month there, which is why it is quite important for ethereum 2.0 to happen in 2022 and not keep getting postponed like the London fork, otherwise it just postpones the price increase as well. I personally will invest more into ethereum soon, just waiting on some money, and I am sure it will definitely increase a lot.
3779  Economy / Economics / Re: Out of control and rising: why bitcoin has Nigeria’s government in a panic on: August 12, 2021, 06:50:55 PM
I honestly think that crypto will face a lot of trouble from the dictatorial regimes, they are the ones who are losing the most out of these stuff, think about it decentralization in a dictatorship? Of course, it is going to be a big trouble. That is also why China keeps banning bitcoin as well, they just do not like it when others have the power, they need to control the whole nation 100% without a single doubt, if they don't, then the whole domino crumbles all together.

So, Nigeria who is a mismanaged nation that has so many problems that even the greatest person in the world can't fix in under a decade (could help get it better though), it is normal that people would look elsewhere, there is no more "hope" left for them because like I said even the best person can't do it now, and politicians are rarely the best people, we vote for people who we do not hate compared to their opponents we hate, it is valid in every nation for every party. Going away from that and putting your money into crypto is a smart move.
3780  Economy / Speculation / Re: The power of Bitcoin HODLing on: August 12, 2021, 06:01:35 PM
Honestly selling bitcoin is a lot more likely outcome during the same period. Sure 1000 dollars invested could have been 139k, that is a great income, and 1 dollar invested could have been 800k as well, that is great too. However how many people who invested 100 dollars in 2010, that could have owned 80 million dollars, would have still hold it?

I am pretty sure I would have sold as soon as it hit 1k for example, 10x is more than I could even imagine, I actually kind of did that, I owned bitcoin from 150-300 range, and sold it when it reached 3k, because I am an idiot. Where you end up selling could change based on person but it would be very hard to still hold it today. So, what I think the most likely outcome would be people making somewhere between 10x to 100x at most and nothing more, that is the kind of return that people are happy to get out.
