3761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin cash rising all of a sudden? is it killing original bitcoin? on: November 13, 2017, 03:16:59 PM
I see that bitcoin cash is rising dramatically topping Ripple volume.
why is it happening?
Well, why are you so surprised by this situation? Everything in the old scheme, the coin raised, earned money and lowered back. Everything is standard

It's all about miners, difficulty and profit between bitcoin and bitcoincash. As both of them have same algorithm and devices for mining, bitcoincash is the real competitor of bitcoin.
It's all about Bitmain and Roger Ver manipulating the market price of Bitcoin Cash.
3762  Other / Off-topic / Re: How a girl can move to Canada? on: November 13, 2017, 03:15:45 PM
Depends on what country you are from. There are different rules of immigration depending on both the country of origin and destination.
3763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin cash rising all of a sudden? is it killing original bitcoin? on: November 13, 2017, 03:11:43 PM
bitcoin cash is rising suddenly because it is being pumped by all big whales, who want to rise bitcoin cash to peak and sell to gain high profiit, this trend does not last for long, because when the big whales dump bitcoin cash, its price will drop back again.
It already crashed really hard. Time will tell if it'll manage to stay above $1k.

Mr. Turing, is it again you? I thought you had been jailed because of sodomy!
Jesus christ, that's the first time I've read about this detail of Turing's life. The world really is a fucked up place. What a reward for beating the Nazis...

The same British people who did this to their own hero Turing are now accusing the Russians to be persecuting gays. And the picture is complete.
Do you think the Russians will accuse the British in a few more decades? Humanity is just a massive circus.
3765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: November 13, 2017, 03:05:45 PM
This are nothing but the rumors created so that big whales can profit book and the weak hands will sell of so that in low the whales can buy back. Always after some pump of price , this type of some news comes and the market reacts it and their will be some correction and then the weak hands and day traders start to sell of their bitcoins and it goes some more low and then whales just jump and buy back and the price goes back to normal price and then next ATH price comes in. China is the main issue always taken to down the market price. I simply pity on china and Chinese peoples who are getting all false comments on them.

Right. And we've already hit all time highs right after china pulled out of the crypto cycle. Now the price is again plunging after segwit is cancelled but just like before, it will take a little time before it recovers
Just shows that whichever country doesn't play the crypto game will lose a significant share of the next economic revoultion.
3766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: November 13, 2017, 03:04:22 PM
No, It's Not a Bubble. The Ethereum is basically a low-risk cryptocurrency. Today most of the investors inclined in the Ethereum Cryptocurrency which is safe and secure for present and future investments.
There is no such thing as a low-risk cryptocurrency. Ethereum is less risky than other cryptos, but it's still high risk.
3767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔥Tokugawa Coin 🔥 Japanese Masternode 🔥1000% ROI🔥Buy in ICO on: November 13, 2017, 03:03:01 PM
so much fake account, nice try on scam.

same with harvestcoin. Sigh..sooo many masternodecoins showing hundreds and thousands of ROI percentages..UNTIL it hits an exchange.. this is crap and bullsh*t
They can offer any ROI they want. If there are too many coins the value will dump. So increasing the interest on the coin doesn't do jackshit if the coin has no inherent value.

Surprised people don't even understand supply and demand on this forum.
3768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 13, 2017, 03:02:00 PM
I think before the bitcoin world, criminals such as illegal drugs, arms trade, prostitution etc., are already crowded and difficult to eradicate, but with the bitcoin world, it is becoming more and more difficult to eradicate, because anonymous bitcoins make criminals more difficult track
Bitcoins are not anonymous and are easier to track than physical money.
3769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jesus Coin? on: November 13, 2017, 02:58:36 PM
After all of the BCH drama today, I wonder which is worse, a joke coin that offends Christians, or a wannabe BTC trying to do a hostile takeover of bitcoin?

I guess with everything that goes on in the crazy world of crypto, decentralized currency really does work.
Since we all are free to control and do what we want with the tech, well, let me just say there are all kinds of people out there.
People who will use shady tactics to get monetary gain
People who will use religion to make a joke.
People who are bored and make trumpcoin.
People who have a normal job and decide to get into crypto.
People who use icos to scam others.

In light of this, I find myself more willing to accept the joke coins out there right now.
I don't think there's anything bad about joke coins. I had great laughs and anyone with a brain should realize very quickly that jokecoins are not an investment.

BCH on the other hand is everything that Bitcoin stands against. Wonder how many people had their money stolen by Ver and Jihan.

Grin Grin Grin i can't stop laughing. So guys all don't do drugs hm? So you don't eat sugar, nor drink coffee / energy drinks or repeat any funny activity that you did before (what is some kind of addiction since you're addicted to the "good feeling" - serotonine and dopamine).

After all, all drugs do is pouring out your available supply of happiness hormones.
You're welcome.  Grin

3771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin cash rising all of a sudden? is it killing original bitcoin? on: November 13, 2017, 02:49:41 PM
Look! the price is dumping. and looks like people spreading disinformation about bitcoin cash, that's really bad idea!

There's no relation between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash in terms of values. They have their own path and dump-pump concepts. Bitcoin Cash' sudden price hike is due to shifting support of a large scale miners from Bitcoin into Bitcoin Cash but that doesn't mean Bitcoin's network is crippled due to an event but the case maybe in favor to Bitcoin Cash by now but the sudden Price hike is a good proof that any altcoin can have a good future and be the next Bitcoin.
Really no shifting support. Miners mine what is most profitable. And the market manipulation from Bitmain and Roger Ver made it appear as if BCH was more profitable for a very brief moment. Now Bitcoin is 2,7 times more profitable again and even Bitmain (the leader of BCH) shifted back to BTC.
3772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 13, 2017, 02:37:51 PM
for me i dont believe people will use bitcoin just for the purpose to buy drugs, in the general even with all the beneficts around bitcoin, i would say its a waste of money using for those purpose.
Not if you were going to buy drugs anyways. Although it seems like people shifted to Monero for those purposes now anyways.
3773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH target 1000$ in ending of this year on: November 13, 2017, 02:35:32 PM
Apparently it hasn't reached 1000$ yet, but it is very possible it will during 2018. But I have a question, if ETH goes up, will BTC go down?
Not by a lot, if at all.

3775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 13, 2017, 02:30:06 PM
Yesterday I've bought very cheap bitcoins almost at the bottom. I'll hold them until >$10k. Thank you, Ver and Jihan! Keep up the good work!

Your "bottom" is very likely to be reveresed false ceiling Grin

Bitcoin at $10,000 is only a self-delusion  - the logic is inconsistent.

Bitcoin is all about buy-low sell-high - nothing about buying bitcoin (viz other crypto) for its "especial" value.

You must have bought at lows before you could sell at high - unified string theory?

When you sell high come $10,000, where are the ready pool of "fools" ready to facilitate your profit taking. Bobby Lee, Jihan Woo, ...

This alone means that there is no $10,000 to celebrate this Christmas. Only gloom for those invested in bitcoin above $6000.

Bitcoin has always been sell high buy higher.
3776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My strategy for the next hardfork SEGWIT2X on: November 13, 2017, 02:16:13 PM
This thread shows how important it is to think strategically but act tactically and be always on the move for B Plans whenever the unexpectable happens.. look at this, everyone was expecting Segwit 2x and bitocoin to rise until the 15th November, then not only Segwit 2x was cancelled but Bitcoin Cash stole big portio of Bitcoin's capital and in a matter of hours Bitcoin is back to the 6200 range.
Bitcoin would've dropped after the cancellation of SegWit2x no matter what Bitcoin Cash would've done. And the BCH team knew this, which is why they timed their wash trades with the cancelled SW2x fork so they could pretend that the market is actually supporting BCH over BTC, which is just a complete lie.
3777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin cash rising all of a sudden? is it killing original bitcoin? on: November 13, 2017, 02:14:12 PM
It's a very complex attack on Bitcoin by the Bitcoin Cash team.

They are using their massive amounts of both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to flood and congest the Bitcoin Core blockchain to decrease the speed and increase its fees.

At the same time they bought their own Bitcoin Cash to increase the price and trigger a wave of FOMO.

There are also a lot of shills going around spreading lies in hopes of making profits on this attack. It's basically the digital age equivalent of an on-going coup d'etat.

Don't support Bitcoin Cash if you believe in the true vision of Satoshi, which was to decentralize power.

100% agree
But Bitcoin Cash has 8MB block size. Doesn't it make it superior from efficiency perspective?
8MB block size is just a bandaid fix. Proper solutions can't be rushed and Core will do just fine.
3778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: November 13, 2017, 02:13:02 PM
Now the Visa partnership isn’t really a partnership with Monaco. Monaco is a only Visa Program Manager. Is it true?
That is correct.

Do you know any other crypto card which is Visa PM? No? So saying that is 'only' a VPM is a bit understatement
"Only" or not, it's a Program Manager, which is quite different from a full-blown partnership. There will likely be more such program managers in the future, just like there are now for the traditional fiat cards.

In the meanwhile, the advantages of MonaCo are a beautiful card with no fees that the user pays directly.

But that's not enough if it wants to remain competitive in the long-term, so the asset contract absolutely must come back if they really want to be as big as they claim to when comparing themselves to Amazon Prime.

agree regarding long-term but for now we should focus on getting working product. For me personally asset contract is minor problem which can be fixed later.
If you treat the asset contract as a minor problem it will not come back. The only reason Kris is even reconsidering it is the rightful outrage of the community.
3779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 13, 2017, 02:11:38 PM
BTC actually has significant advantages over Bitcoin Cash, even if it has higher fees and transaction times, simply because it's the common denominator for literally every altcoin.

This is one of the least important advantages. The main one is segwit which gives entirely new horizon in addition to what we already had before it..

Pretty sure the fact that there's a $100bn altcoin market would imply that Segwit is going to be the next coming of Jesus. Is that what you are saying?
3780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: November 13, 2017, 02:10:00 PM
Not so fast, as we can see the BTC price is dropping down.
After the fork, we will see what is going on.
What fork? lol

He probably means the fork of Bitcoin Cash that is today. We can see another pump of BCH after that, if the problem about the difficulty (the algorithm) will be solved!
The only pumps BCH sees are direct results of wash trading. Everything else is just an artificial legitimation of it to trigger FOMO: https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/7clsrt/just_traded_in_90_of_my_btc_for_bch/
