3761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: September 05, 2020, 12:39:24 PM
Currently, companies and projects need a lot of programmers for blockchain. If we pay attention, there are more coders involved in more than one project. Blockchain needs a young, dynamic team of programmers. I think in the future there will be many young and talented programmers in the world.
This is also an industry that has a higher income because of its complexity and difficulty.

yes i also believe with this, mostly bank will need huge employee since they not willing to lose about technology that currently hype. and yes maybe some bank will start to make their own cryptocurrency

3763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of BTC mining Pools on: September 05, 2020, 12:28:55 PM
there are many different mining pools and each single pool owns multiple different servers in different locations. so for example when you see F2POOL has 15% of the hashrate, that is being spread among multiple servers not just one to be shut down with a natural disaster or any other thing. so for example it could be 3 different 5% servers.
if you look at their coinbases they sometimes even include the server name in it too.

additionally as it was mentioned it is miners who connect to these servers and if one went down they simply switch to another one. although this can take some time but it won't harm the bitcoin network in any major way. worst case is seeing a small rise in the time between blocks that are found until miners make the migration.

To be honest i just know about this.
To kill a pool is not enough for 51% attack. However, if somebody (gov, for example) will have enough money they may buy hashrates and do it in other way

and yes for now its seems impossible to do that even government. in fact what would any gov to risk their money to do this  Grin
3764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solar mining vs diesel generator mining ? Any experience? on: September 04, 2020, 01:07:36 AM
Yeah, is safer to buy coins than to actually mine them right now.

About diesel generator, it does around 8kwh with 2.4 litres, things you should consider, it's noisy, heavy and dangerous, it could explode if you dont know how to properly handle it. USA electricity going on rate is $0.10 per kwh, so to get 8 kw from the grid you need $0.80, to get the same from a diesel generator, you need 2.4 litres of diesel which in turn tell us that, you need to pay $0.25 cents of dollar or less per litre of diesel to be better than the USA electricity going on rate.

Solar electricity is just too expensive for a short term, you need to go to a very long term to actually break even hehe

Yes indeed

But using diesel generator is risky and when u using 24 hours maybe there's problem will come from the perspective of price, diesel are the winner. But you need to considering lot off factor like replace the oil and some part that need to check regulary

3766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a cryptocurrency software developer? on: September 03, 2020, 12:31:32 PM
If you want to become a crypto-currency software developer you need a lot of knowledge in software development. Like other jobs, you need to be professional and skilled in your field. It's base on knowledge because how can you do well in software development if your knowledge is not enough.
agree with this, me are software developer build website to be more specific. but personally i know nothing about crpyto code hahah

and anyway if u interesting to know about it there's a lot coin out there that open source. usually coin using python language and C maybe u can start learning that language first
3767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Numerology +WTF on: September 03, 2020, 12:27:03 PM
I read an interesting post about the numerology of Bitcoin which I have translated to share with the community

Source: https://www.foroparalelo.com/teorias/numerologia-bitcoin-illuminati-teoria-891688/

---

Numerology is a very old science. Its origin dates back to the Babylonian, Phoenician and Hebrew civilization. Pythagoras, Greek philosopher and mathematician, (580-520 B.C.) was the first to elaborate a scientific theory that numbers governed everything created and had a great influence on the life of nature and men

Numerology or Gematrics, which is how this science is defined in the Kabbalistic study, reveals other virtues and applications regarding the conversion of letters into figures and their meaning

Bitcoin.org: The domain was created/registered in 2008-08-18 (888) = 2+0+0+8+0+8+1+8 = 27 = 2+7 = 9

(Features of 9 = Humanitarianism, Selflessness, Highest Level of Change, Giver, Universal Spiritual Laws, Karma)

BITCOIN = B=2 + I=9 + etc = 9

(Features of 9 = Humanitarianism, Selflessness, Highest Level of Change, Giver, Universal Spiritual Laws, Karma)

BLOCKCHAIN = 6

(Features of 6 = Balance, Responsibility, Love, Family, Home, Nurturing, Self-Righteousness, Union, Responsibility, Community)

SATOSHI NAKAMOTO = 55 (The number 55, like the 33, 22, 11, is not reduced by being master numbers)

(Features of 55 = Master of Innovation. Freedom, Success, Attainability, New Path Creator)

The so-called illuminati and secret societies often take numerology into account to devise their agendas, so... or Bitcoin was created by themselves, or, "Satoshi Nakamoto" took into account this type of science to combat the elite with his own medicine  Huh

¿Crazy or Interesting?

i don't know about theories like this but every single think that got famous, connected with illuminati and conspiracy theory and me personally don't really trust about it.
3768  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallet on: September 03, 2020, 12:21:35 PM
The safest wallet would be a cold wallet but even that can get lost.

I'd say Binance is a good place and you can also get nice interest % paid on your balance if you just store it there without doing anything with it (unlike cold wallets that don't pay interest).

yes using hardware wallet is most safest i think, using exchange is second option since big exchange can get hacked too.

I think this question has been asked and many people already know about Bitcoin wallets, for me personally I use Blockchain wallets to store my Bitcoin, because Blockchain already looks safe for storage, if you want to try to store Bitcoin it's better to use Blockchain wallets to store Bitcoin And make sure to keep the private keys that you get when you use the Blockchin wallet.

and yes im using blockchain too because you can signed message on there unlike exchange

3771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Slow adoption and decentralized nature of bitcoin on: September 02, 2020, 07:10:13 AM
People must know how Bitcoin works in order to trust Bitcoin enough to start using it in their daily lives.
Would you ever invest your hard earned money into a project that has a vague and obscure business model and goals?I don't think so.With more transparency comes more trust. The "average Joe" isn't obligated to know absolutely everything about blockchain technology, cryptography, etc. He should be familiar with the basic fundamentals of Bitcoin.I truly believe that the fundamentals of Bitcoin are simple enough to be easily explained to uneducated people.

Total agree with this and

it think there's some thread that discussed about How to make old people understand Bitcoin? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5268958.0 this not only happen for old people, that's why there's some people not know or trust about it, and can lead with slow adoption rate of bitcoin. and some news about scammer that stealing lot of coin and laundry their asset with bitcoin become on of lot reason people not trust about it
3772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: September 02, 2020, 06:56:53 AM

3773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 02, 2020, 06:43:59 AM
Coin Trader, do you have any estimate when the fees would go back to normal? How many days from now?

It take time now since ethereum price goes high same like bitcoin when the price up i see flooding of transaction happen. When people keep transfer the eth, the fees will very high. anyway you can still send your eth with low fees but miner will be choose the high fee for their priority. when you look back at 2017 when bitcoin reach ATH the miner become shower with money due high demand of transaction with high fee.
3774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not so far from getting BTC globally accepted! Pornhub now accepts BTC & LTC. ;) on: September 02, 2020, 06:36:04 AM
Lol! Porn industry has started experimenting with cryptocurrency quite a long time back. It's not only about the store of value but also about the privacy. I lot of people are not really comfortable in using their debit/credit card in purchasing their subscription because it will show on their statement. So it's really preferable for them to use cryptocurrency instead. I still remember, there was a platform called xotika.tv who had initiated such experiments with cryptocurrency!

Good for porn lovers!

yeah sure thing its all about privacy  Cheesy

Grin Grin in my country itself porn are taboo hahah and banned all of internet service provider so i don't know how to comment this but i hope gaming industry join the vibes.  Grin

3775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What area of bitcoin participation is easiest to work with? on: September 01, 2020, 03:53:06 PM
I have seen bounty hunter doing well, I have also seen people who do not participate in bounty and are making it well with trading alone, but I have never seen anyone around me being involved in mining, I learnt mining is more risky and cannot just be done alone, and if you even attempt it probably with your android, you may end up wasting your time and not even making it as the traders and hunters. It tend to take a massive effort to be successful in mining, you need good electricity, good mining wallet, computer with good capacity, and some other gadgets. Considering all this, which of all the participation do you see as least demanding and easiest?

I think for now bitcoin mining is not choice if u dont have mining farm, anyway if you still curious about how bitcoin mining work you can still try deposit some small amount to miningrigrental or try cloud mining like genesis.

3778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: August 30, 2020, 11:56:10 PM
maybe we are in the same country but the funny thing is that our views are different about government regulations, actually bitcoin is considered a commodity in my opinion and is illegal because at that time in Bali accepting payments using bitcoin while it collides with government regulations governing currency in force namely the rupiah currency

yes we are in same country dude  Grin and yes i see the news about bitcoin can't replaced the rupiah ever as a payment. and yes bali is the most common place that u can spend the bitcoin and there's bitcoin ATM on there right and Jakarta too, but right now i think all of that is gone
3779  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India Is Looking To Introduce A Law To Ban Bitcoin, Imprisonment Of Up To 5 Year on: August 30, 2020, 11:51:45 PM
Let me give you the time line
In 2018- RBI banned bitcoin transactions from banking channels. Therefore even though bitcoin wasn't illegal exchanges can't open a bank account therefore were shut down. P2P was working
In 2019- government made a committee to know the shortcomings in cryptocurrency and therefore were considering to ban it (have not banned it are just considering to ban it)
In 2020- Supreme court of India lifted the ban of RBI and exchanges have reopened

Now once again there are speculations that it will be banned again. But it's Not yet banned it's just in consideration of being banned.

oh i see, its look like the government confuse about ban or not the bitcoin
3780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: August 29, 2020, 12:59:50 AM
in my country trade is free, and it's not against the rules.
maybe in your country you can trade in a quiet way and without the knowledge of many people. this is in order to make you feel safe in trading

same as me in my county it self trade are free even tho there's some government called "BAPPETI" Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (BAPPEBTI)

What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? basically is not rules issue is more likely to be emotional issue  Grin when buy cheap and the market dump so hard that's the main problem
