3761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It’s a curiosity to know on: December 06, 2019, 11:29:37 PM
In 2017, Nearly 50000 users in a day were singing up on Coin base.  In my view, more number of people are now engaged about the blockchain mainstream
than 2017. Curious minds to know “How many people are joining with their exchange now? Is this really increasing or what?

The answer is quite obvious. As the number of days are passing by, more people are hearing about bitcoin and blockchain. They hear about how people are making profits easily when the price is rising and how they are making transactions easily from one country to another with minimum fee. Thus, they become curious and starts joining and investing on bitcoin. Since, coinbase is an easy wallet to use, they usually signup on coinbase and choose their wallet to start with.
Not exactly sure how many users are joining coinbase now, but can say that the number of people that has joined is more than previous years.
3762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be thankful than hate him on: December 06, 2019, 08:27:38 PM
Hi,
Beautiful people

This post is dedicated to all the haters of Bitcoin in this forum. I have been asking my self what did Bitcoin and the creator of Bitcoin do wrong with them?

The one who invented never came out with his name or asked us to popularize him. He became famous because he did invent something that was meant to help us.

We are innovating, we are creating brilliant product but, it does not mean we degrade the one which started it all.

Why anyone would like to question Bitcoin?

What makes you think it is inferior to what you have invented?

Remember, it is Bitcoin that started the revolution and it is Bitcoin that will change the life for the needy.

I have been asking myself what did the inventor do wrong to be conned and claimed as they never were able to prove it? Cheap stunt!!

Mr Nakamoto(it would be nice that everyone give him/her that respect) invented something, which has changed our live, we should appreciate and love his creation, rather asking everyday who he was? where can we find him? and so on.

I am not a judge here, I am that individual who was no one until this guy invented a product and made me who I am!

Thanks.

Respect Bitcoin and Respect the creator!!!

We never would have been here, If Bitcoin creator NEVER thought about us.
First of all, who said that the creator of bitcoin was receiving hate? If he/she does receive hate, it is just from minority of the people and their "hate" towards Nakamoto does not even count. He/She is actually very well respected on this community and most of the places.
You say bitcoin has changed peoples life and the life of the needy? Lol, like how? I don't think a needy/homeless/poor person will be able to afford investing on bitcoin!
3763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2019, 08:15:14 PM
It depends on what altcoins you are holding and when we can expect a rally in the altcoin market, generally if you look at the market bitcoin is the only coin that can guarantee a profit while the rest of the market depend on the rally in bitcoin and if we see a huge rally in bitcoin we might see a rally in the altcoin space if you look at the past rallies and if we have a rally then if you are investing in good altcoins then you might get a much profit than bitcoin.
The pattern you are talking about is not always the same. Sometimes you will see that when the price of bitcoin starts to rise, altcoins starts to drop/bleed and then after a while the altcoins starts to rise back again. This usually happens because when the price of bitcoin starts to go up, people sells their altcoin in order to invest on bitcoin to maximize their profit. Thus the price of altcoin starts to fall while the price of bitcoin gets further boost. Once the price of altcoin has gone down enough, people starts to purchase their altcoins again, but this time at lower price, thus causing the price to go back up again eventualy.
3764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: December 06, 2019, 09:35:56 AM
Yeah you are right. A "high rating people" who supports the project does not make the project automatically legit. There are always a chance of the project failing or scamming. After all your "high rating" people does not actually care who gets scammed or not. Remember, those people are paid to advertise for them. There are also few well known people out there who makes legit reviews.
The best way to avoid fraudulent project is to avoid every shitty projects out there that are not being developed by some well known team.
3765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 06, 2019, 09:18:21 AM
I am new here. So I need some help from veteran traders could you please tell me how could I trade here safely Huh
By "here", do you mean trade at bitcointalk forum? If you actually meant bitcointalk forum, then yeah, you will need to be really safe cautious. As soon as you make a post, there will be people jumping in to try and scam you. Best way is to look for a reputed trader on the forum. Look at his trust rating before initiating any kind of trade. If you don't find any kind of well known traders, then before trading with a unknown trader, it is recommended to use a middleman/escrow service.
3766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream for bitcoin on: December 06, 2019, 09:11:56 AM
What you are asking for is not actually possible. At least with bitcoin. Imagine what is going to happen when bitcoin becomes the primary currency of the whole world. Will the network be able to handle all those millions of transactions per second? What about the network fee. It is going to skyrocket and confirmations are going to become really really slow. Also, we won't be replacing fiat currency so easily. It is going to take few more decades.
3767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: This is definitely huge for Binance traders! on: December 06, 2019, 06:04:25 AM
Does this mean it will make binance users will do transaction without trading and they will just sell their coins directly to the people itself to avoid the fee, but it will increase scam if many people are doing this
They will be able to do internal transaction without any kind of fee if I am not wrong. This is what it actually sounds like though. So, according to you if someone does internal transaction between two accounts inside the exchange, then the one selling the coins to another user will not have to bear any fees. All the fee has to be paid by the buyer (if he wants to withdraw it to an external wallet). So yeah, good for sellers, bad for buyers. I don't even think they will want to take this options, since sending those coins to an external wallet of the buyer would be better.
How is this going to increase scam?
3768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FEAR OF DUMPING on: December 05, 2019, 09:12:29 PM
They should feel fear especially if they don't have a budget to pay the bounty hunters.
It is already given that bounty hunters are there to make money out of their services so why not give them what they need after a few month's work?
They should have a budget for promotions, so there's no space for fear of dumping.
They do have the "budget" to pay the bounty hunters. Why wouldn't they have it in the first place when all they have to do is give them their shit tokens? Having no budget makes no sense at all since they don't pay them with bitcoin or other crypto currencies. You are asking why they don't give them what they need? Lol. Read what others have written. They don't want the bounty hunters to make any profit. They want to be the first people to dump the tokens before anyone else!
3769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty problem and solution on: December 05, 2019, 07:21:33 PM
RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN A BOUNTY CAMPAIGN EQUAL TO HIGHER PAYOUTS

I think its time that bounty managers should start putting limitations on new bounty projects to avoid spams, the problem in this space today apart from scam projects is this forum is flooded with spammers and too many bounty hunters which makes reward unfair for hunters, what do you think? Agreed or disagreed? drop your points below
I agree to your point, but the bounty managers won't agree. If they limit and put restrictions, the users advertising for them will decrease. Thus, their exposure will also reduce. This means, that they will be paying more to less user for less exposure. Thus, they will consider this ineffective form of advertising.
Honestly, they don't care about spam. As long as they get some kind of exposure, they wouldn't care less. Just avoid bounty programs, and you will see them fixing themselves automatically!
3770  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk forum payment issue and many more on: December 04, 2019, 08:45:25 PM
Why would you even join that forum and waste your time? I pretty much sure they are paying shit amount for posting. You are just wasting your time for few cents. You could have done something better other than focusing on that forum and would have likely earned more.
Anyways, the forum is supposed to be filled by spammers spamming random shit (with multiple accounts) to earn few cents. Any kind of forum that pays for posting are just encourage their users to spam.
3771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2 Dice Strategies that Might be Proven Helpful on: December 04, 2019, 08:36:14 PM
Trust me, all those strategies are just gamblers fallacy. No matter what strategy you apply, you will cannot beat the house. You will lose against the house in the long run. If all those strategies actually worked, then casinos wouldn't exist anymore. They would have been wiped clean by their users. Remember, casinos implement various rules so that the house never gets cleaned. For example if you play using martingale strategy, after making losses, you will eventually reach a point were you won't be able to double your bets anymore because of the bet size limits the casino may set.
3772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 04, 2019, 08:02:34 PM
Besides trading, holding, and bounty hunting, what are your other sources of income in cryptocurrency?

Can you tell us about your profitable ways of earning cryptocurrencies nowadays?
All I can say is to avoid those faucets and bounty programs. All faucets will give you is some dusts that won't even cover your transaction fee. Bounty programs most of the time has some shit pay and if you go through the forum you will see how people claim that they have been scammed. If the project dies, so does your coins. Both, faucet and bounty are just waste of time.
There is no easy way for making profit or earning crypto currencies. You will have to work for. I would suggest you to start by selling your skills.
3773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: December 03, 2019, 08:45:34 PM
How are they going to ban a decentralized currency? Most of the countries tried to but a ban on torrenting due to piracy reasons, but were they able to do it? Nope they failed miserably. Crypto currencies (at least most of them are) also takes place P2P and transactions are done without any kind of middle man involved. Thus the government has no "central" authority or "institution" to ban. All they can do is ban the usage of crypto currencies within their countries, but it also going to be really hard for them to actually force it on people.
3774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about quitting mining on: December 03, 2019, 08:37:25 PM
Tell me if my plan is bad, the first time i entered crypto space i started with mining rig setups but after some time its no more profitable so i stopped mining, now i start joining airdrops and bounties but present market condition is not helping, now i decide to sell my rig and find other business to divert the money to, if bull run ever comes i will still have coins to sell since most of my bounties i hold the ones with use cases, is selling my mining rig a good call?
If you aren't making any profit from mining, then why are you mining in the first place? Just quit. Also, if you think that in the future you will no longer be able to mine do to the cost, then just sell your mining rig.
Airdrops and bounties are just waste of times. You will be making dust amount that won't even cover your transaction fees. Try doing something more efficient!
3775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are crypto casinos/dice houses not caring about multiple accounts. on: November 30, 2019, 02:41:31 PM
As part of my new gambling strategy development, I need to have at least 10 accounts to gamble with.

10 accounts may be with 10 different casinos or with only one casino. More preciously if I have 10 accounts with same gambling house then it would be more helpful as the percentage of house edge will be same (otherwise I may need to fine tune my strategy to withstand against different house edges).

I like to get your opinion from your experiences like what are the crypto casinos which are allowing multiple accounts or who are all not bothering about accessing them through VPN. Also, which casino is more strict about multiple accounts. I plan to access my accounts with different IP around the globe (I mean I do not have plans to access all the accounts from same IP address).

All your inputs are highly appreciated. I checked few houses' TOS and FAQ but most casinos are not explicitly not mentioning about their stand against multiple accounts and accessing them through VPN.
Most casinos don't allow users to have multiple accounts. If you get caught, all you accounts will be locked or banned. You probably won't get caught, but right before you try to withdraw (usually large amount or multiple withdraws) they might have a look at your account and will be able to trace all your other accounts. Casinos that doesn't explicitly mention their stand against multiple account probably does not do frequent checks. But I am pretty much sure, they will block all your account and confiscate your funds if you do get caught!
3776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Practical "Self-Exclusion" from Bitcoin Gambling Websites on: November 30, 2019, 02:27:30 PM
This is a must-read for anyone who is looking to self-exclude his/her gambling account from a Bitcoin gambling website, whether it's a Casino website, a sportsbook, or what's not.

Brief Explanation of the problem:

In the past it was pretty easy to self-exclude yourself from a website, because you had to provide your details such as your name, date of birth, you even had to supply a copy of your ID, utility bill etc. - then if you would ask to self-exclude then you would pretty much say goodbye to that site because your details were marked.

However, since the introduction of Bitcoin - it became easier to gamble, you don't need to provide almost anything, barely an email address just for the security of the account - the rest is all Bitcoin ... and that creates a problem for those who are addicted to gambling - they cannot stop, even if they want to - they would be in troubles of having so many new websites that keep on starting a gambling business with Crypto ... Self Exclusion becomes almost impossible in this environment - for more details see this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5202357.0

What can be done as a solution?

One of the solutions I was able to find is to lock your Bitcoin for a certain period of time. I am currently investigating how to do it properly in this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5205451.0
-snip-

I don't see how this is going to help. You will be locking your wallet for a certain period of time, but you can open another wallet, get some coins and start gambling again, you know that right? Why go through all those hassle of locking just one wallet? This does not guarantee you that you will stop gambling for a certain period of time. Sites like crypto-games.net allows you to lock your account for a period of time or forever. Instead of locking your wallet, just let the site owners know that you want them to restrict your access to their server.
Instead of wasting your time locking wallets, just get help from someone if you are suffering from gambling addiction.
3777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber criminals are using Youtube to install-Crypto jacking software on: November 30, 2019, 01:54:14 PM
This is nothing new. It has been going on for decades. Spreading malware through video content that contains links that will infect your computer. You just have to be careful. Why in the first place would you be clicking some random link given by a random YouTube creator? Is this because you will be getting "free" coins? Then I am sorry to say, you deserve to get your computer infected and lose everything. At least you will be learning a lesson.
3778  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Problems in Bitcoin on: November 30, 2019, 01:36:49 PM
Trading has become financial slavery and it really has to change.
Everyday there's something out there there tries to lie to people and abuse them with fake information, trolls, and fake volume nearly on every website but mostly on Binance.com trying to make them buy bitcoin literally everyday, harassing them with constant buy trades and fake volume as if doing anything else is wrong.
Do you even know what harass means? I don't know whats up with Binance since I haven't used that exchange for while, but I am pretty sure they aren't "harassing" anyone or else we all would have heard about it. So you are saying people that they are using those fake information to force (since you said harass which means they are making putting pressure on them) people to buy bitcoin? Nope, I didn't hear anyone complaining yet. If people sees those faux information and falls for it, they are to be blamed first!
3779  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: November 30, 2019, 01:30:00 PM
Many ways to trade safely you can trade short trade you can buy altcoin that you can sell fast if you see that you have small profit sell it and buy back again once that coins goes down. I experienced that i trade it everyday and got small profit everyday but its enough for our daily living. I got 400- 700 peso in a day in my trading so its very ok buy low sell high.
How is this "very safe" if you will have be very quick and precise when selling? Since you will have to be very fast, this means that you will have a risk of losing a lot if you don't act quick. Trading this way is never safe. You might end up buying in the wrong time and might see the price no longer rising thus you will be holding it hoping that the price will go back. This will cause you to lose opportunity since you won't have your capital with you anymore. Again, if you let go of your coins, you will be suffering from loss. Very is for you to say "buy low sell high".
3780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: November 30, 2019, 06:40:36 AM
Gamble with only the surplus money you have - this is really easy for you to say but not for an addicted gambler. Most gamblers starts gambling with money that they can afford to lose. But, eventually they get addicted and starts gambling with whatever they have. Even if they don't get addicted, once they start losing, they lose their conscience along with their money. They now tries to get back whatever they lost but that ends up being a disaster. That is why I always suggest people who think they might lose control over themselves to not gamble at all even if they have money to waste.
