Leverkusen are finally on the rise indeed. I wonder how long they can maintain this winning streak. This winning streak of three games helped them reach the 11th position in the standings already. Leverkusen aren't a team that deserve to be near the relegation zone normally. They needed this wins to pull themselves together.

Bayern Munich are playing an away game against Schalke now. This is like the easiest game for them on paper. Interestingly there is still no goal in the game while we are leaving 20 minutes behind. However Bayern Munich are very dominant as usual. I expect them to get a comfortable win after breaking the deadlock.

I was really shocked to see that Manchester City lost to Brentford in a home game. It was normally a comfortable one for them. Their performance was also decent actually. They kept the game under control when it comes to ball possession and they had so many goal attempts like 29. But scoring only one goal shows how poor day they had.

Haaland couldn't score this time. If he had a good day then maybe the team would be able to win this game. The team are really dependent on his productivity now. It is normal of course as he is their striker. But the other attackers should be able to do better when Haaland isn't able to do much.

I was actually expecting a win for Lyon today but they barely saved one point against Nice home. Lyon's first half performance was just horrible. There was some improvement in the second half but still the equalizer came in the last moments. Both teams scored their goals by penalties. Lyon are still one of the inconsistent teams in the league.

Monaco - Marseille can really be interesting. It is very difficult maybe but Marseille might have a slight chance to win this challenging game. They have very similar statistics to Monaco's at the moment. Marseille are trying to improve their recent form. The win over Lyon was a start and it would be incredible for them to win another big game right away.

Watching only one goal in the second half was out of my expectation. But the first half was incredible that's for sure. Just as I expected, Dortmund had a big struggle against Gladbach. A 4-2 loss was more than I expected though. But Dortmund are having big difficulty in winning games lately. Especially against teams that have nearly the same points Dortmund have big problems on winning.

Their defending style is still weak indeed. With this level it is very difficult for them to keep up a good form in the league. They need to make some improvement not to get away from top 4 very much in time.

Atalanta - Inter is going to be the first big game this week.

Inter are the favoured side for the win. However it is really hard to be sure of such thing. Because they have the same points in the league now. Inter couldn't beat them in their last head-to-head games in this stadium either. I wonder if Inter will still manage to put an end to this record against Atalanta by a win this time. Atalanta are in a big need of a win on one hand. They lost many games recently and they need to recover. This is a big chance to start from somewhere. I don't think they will lose.

Manchester United can't get many wins in the recent times. They got only two wins in their last five league games. The Aston Villa loss must have demoralized them a little more. There is only a few points between Manchester United and Fulham in the league standings now. This will be another challenging away game for the Red Devils.

Mitrovic is a big threat to them with 9 goals in the league now. They will need to be as strong as possible in defense. Besides there is a possibility for Ronaldo, Antony and Sancho not to play in this game. There are some important missing players among defenders like Dalot and Varane as well. I don't think of betting on them as a result. Maybe I might give double chance on Fulham a try.

The last games before the World Cup have been played. Barcelona must be happy to give the break as the leader in the standings. We won't see any matches until December 31. In this time period there might be sigificant situation changes for the teams in the league such as injuries in the World Cup.

Especially Barcelona and Real Madrid will need to keep their players healthy during the World Cup. If we see important injuries for any side than the title race can be affected directly badly. Benzema's return was unknown so far this break will make them gain some time as well. His contribution is very important for the team.

Will it be Udinese to stop Napoli's unbeaten streak in an away game? I assume not.

Udinese started the season very well but they are just terrible now. They can't get even a win for six weeks in the league. Their form has dropped too sharply all of a sudden. They don't even have a good head-to-head history against Napoli. They can beat Napoli for six years and since then they have lost nearly all of their games. I think Napoli won't have big problems on winning this game and moving on. It looks like there is still time for them to get their first loss.

Dortmund will have a really tough game today. Playing against Gladbach is another challenge for them and their head-to-head history in the recent times is not very good for Dortmund. Gladbach defeated them in this stadium in their last two games in the Bundesliga.

There is a six-point gap between them now so I can't say that Dortmund are much better than them. Dortmund had a big difficulty against Wolfsburg the last time and lost by 2-0. Even though Dortmund are favoured for the win I think that it is better to avoid betting on them. Instead I'm thinking of both teams to score.

Lazio and Juventus both got what they wanted from their games by the same score, 1-0. Lazio had a really decent performance against Monza as they didn't let their opponent have even one shot on target. Actually things weren't going well for them in the first half. But thanks to the improvement in the second half they scored the winning goal.

Although Juventus didn't make an impressive effort they still got the win. It was thanks to Verona's being very bad this season. They were already on a lasting losing streak. They still had many goal attempts but the clumsiness brought their end. Juventus are dealing with injuries of course but they need to be better against a bigger team. A more capable team would have even beaten them.

Real Madrid needed this win after losing points in simple games for them. They were quite effective in the first half and didn't give much chance to Cadiz. But in the second half Cadiz started to have more goal chances. Real Madrid were only 1-0 ahead actually therefore I wonder why Real Madrid started to be complacent this quick. However they still secured a 2-1 win at the end.

Kroos was impressive today with one goal and an assist. Maybe they are still behind Barcelona but the gap is very close like 2 points. This season will be a lot of fun as it seems.

It is time for Tottenham to start winning again. Leeds are not a serious opponent for them. They have a big dominance against Leeds in their recent head-to-head games. I know that Leeds beat Liverpool away not much time ago. But it is really difficult for them to do this again versus a big team like Tottenham as well.

I expect and hope Tottenham attackers to be very productive here and they should be able to get a nice win. Kane is already doing great actually. He has reached 11 goals in the league. I don't know if he can compete with Haaland for being top scorer. It is really difficult to keep up with Haaland.

Bayern Munich are in a more comfortable condition now after Union Berlin and Freiburg both lost points on the same week. However Bayern Munich just demolished Werder Bremen by 6-1. It was the classic Bayern. 

Scoring 47 goals in 14 games is just insane. Bayern Munich are just showing the Bundesliga very easy. They are still destroying everyone one by one despite selling Lewandowski. It is obvious that they would be the champions with this level of effort. However I wonder how far they will make it in the Champions League. Choupo-Moting is the only useful striker technically but Nagelsmann might try some different things such as putting a winger at the centre as well. He's already tried it before with Mane for example.

It is already time for Real Madrid to end their bad streak in the league. They lost five points on the previous two weeks. This caused Barcelona to take the lead from them. Tonight Real Madrid are hosting Cadiz and I'm sorry for Cadiz honestly. Because I think there is no way Real Madrid are repeating the same mistake here. I expect a solid win.

Valencia - Betis is another interesting game. Maybe it might seem as a surprise that Valencia are favoured for the win. But you should know that Betis have many players missing before this game. Therefore a quite difficult game might be waiting for them. Their form is already inconsistent these days and I won't be surprised by another point loss here.

Juventus are finally back on track in the Serie A now. They still have a winning streak and it is four games now. They can capture the third or fourth position in the standings if they win against Verona today. I assume it would be the fourth position because Lazio should be able to get past Monza easily.

Verona are literally the worst team in the league now. They are at the last position and they have only one win so far. They have been losing for 8 weeks. Interestingly Juventus couldn't beat them for years in an away game. But tonight this must be ending. I expect a clear win by Juventus.

Liverpool are going to play against Southampton in Anfield this week. They got a really important win against Tottenham in an away game the last time. This must have boosted their morale on a large scale. Southampton are in a pretty bad condition. They are one of the teams in the relegation zone as well. They have huge weaknesses in defense and this should make things much easier for Liverpool.

Liverpool really need a lasting winning streak to recover. This is a big chance to increase their current winning streak to 2 games. They should be able to destroy Southampton.

Inter needed a win after the defeat against Juventus. They got this win incredibly well against Bologna by 6-1. Atalanta just surprised us very much by a defeat against Lecce. I was quite confident about the Atalanta win. After losing to Napoli I thought that this would be a game to make up for it.

There is some inexplicable drop in their performance lately. Atalanta started to have a similar season to the previous one. They started solidly but now things aren't going well. They aren't doing good in big games also as they lost to Napoli and Lazio recently.

Sevilla players seem to have zero mental left at the moment. They got two red cards by a six-minute interval in the first half. This is just unbelievable and not normal at all. They should still be grateful for Real Sociedad not to destroy them by a big goal difference. Real Sociedad couldn't score more than two goals in the whole game but they still got the win of course by 2-1.

Sevilla's winless series has increased to five games in the league. They are still right above the relegation zone as well. They are a big mess and I have no idea about how and when they will recover.

The opening game of the week is going to be Manchester City - Brentford.

Manchester City had a really big problem on beating Fulham last week. Cancelo's red card made a big impact on it of course. Today they eliminated Chelsea in the EFL Cup by a 2-0 win. This would give an extra morale before their game up next. Brentford are still doing horrible. They can't get a win for 4 weeks in the league and Gillingham eliminated them in the EFL Cup by penalties as well. These combined are not good at all before a really tough game. I think Manchester City will destroy them.

Galatasaray had a quite big difficulty in beating Ofspor by the way. Ofspor got 1-0 ahead first maybe but it was still an easy game for Galatasaray on paper.

However Galatasaray attackers had a very unproductive game for sure. Especially Gomis wasted so many goal opportunities. I even watched him wasting 100% goal chances. If they played this game against a more capable team with this lineup choice then I think they would have been eliminated by their opponent most probably. I know that Gomis didn't have match fitness as Icardi is in the starting eleven from now on. But he shouldn't be this bad still.
