Their streak right now is just at insane level mate. It is 46 games now and it doesn't look like someone will stop them anytime soon.

Can Roma be the one to do that? It would be a good question considering that they have been showing better performances since De Rossi came. They are much more effective in the attacking line for sure but for the defending I can't say they are great for now. Xabi Alonso can make use of their weakness really well in my opinion.


Atalanta weren't definitely superior. Most people were expecting Liverpool to get past them and reach the finale later on too. But a Liverpool - Leverkusen finale which so many people dreamed of won't happen unfortunately.

Yeah nothing guaranteed. But if Atalanta play with the same ambition I will still see them one step ahead.

It was really nice to see Torino players applauding the champion players while entering the pitch. We really need this kind of things especially instead of unwanted incidents among the players or supporters. 

Torino were like aimless by the way. I wasn't expecting them to make big difficulties for Inter which was what really happened. I liked Hakan Calhanoglu's performance a lot in this game with 2 goals.    He is really one of the special players for Inter now. In addition to that he is having his most productive season in the Serie A in terms of scoring. With these goals the number has reached 13 goals. He already has 3 years to go on his contract and I think he would stay until the end of his contract as well.

That's because of news sources' writing about Mbappe every year actually. For years we have seen them linking him with another team and people discussed the topic like all the time. The last time Mbappe was nearing the end of his contract he decided to extend by signing a new huge contract. This time people are discussing whether it would happen again or not. 

I have also heard such thing like Real Madrid and Mbappe has already reached agreement with each other. However this is also a rumour without any proof. I remember Mbappe's recent statement that he didn't made up his mind about his future yet and he just wanted to focus on his game. I wasn't also expecting him to reach a verbal agreement that early.

PSG - Dortmund is the other matchup in the semi finals. Dortmund have been continuing to impress everyone by doing a great work. They scored a lot of goals against Atletico Madrid in the rematch you know. We all know how solid Atletico Madrid are when it comes to defending normally. But even they couldn't prevent a 4-2 loss there. 

PSG had better not underestimate their opponent. I don't expect their job to be easy. They beat Dortmund in the group stage before but Dortmund look stronger than that now. PSG might not have been in this stage in the first place if Barcelona didn't have to play with 10 players in the rematch. PSG should improve their game because of that.

I assume we can all say from now on that Atletico Madrid have secured the last spot for the Champions League.    That win against Athletic Bilbao was a result that most people including me expected. Athletic Bilbao gave up early because of making really critical point losses against Granada and Villarreal both home previously.

Real Madrid are very close to announcing the title officially. Only a couple of weeks the most. I think the winner of the Girona - Barcelona game will determine which one will finish the season at the second position as well. I think Barcelona would beat Valencia today first and use their two-point advantage against Girona well in the game between later.  

The dream season is still going on for Leverkusen. 46 games unbeaten... This is insane! I was really excited while watching that last minute free-kick and they really did it again. Maybe with a little help of their luck on that goal too but still.    Xabi Alonso is not just making do with breaking a record. He is still improving it with a huge streak.



It says 44 because of being shared like 10 days ago. Anyways from now on I'm concentrated on what they will do in the Europa League. I'm not even saying DFB Pokal because it seems like an easy win for Leverkusen considering the strength of the opponent, Kaiserslautern. In the Europa League too I believe they will be able to make it to the title. 

When I first saw your post I thought PSG won against Le Havre and I saw the result wrong. But you were talking about the Ligue 1 title, okay. 

Yeah PSG were already too comfortable in the league for a long time which is the same scenario we see nearly every season. This is killing the competitiveness of the league though but there is really nothing we can do about it. PSG is rich and it is easy for them to win this title over and over again. Even though they actually have horrible stats like 10 draws considering their superiority, they can still become the champions without any problem. This is what makes this league boring. 

Juventus are so close to be left behind by Bologna in the standings as well. After a terrible finishing against Milan I was expecting for that to happen actually but Bologna wasted the chance. Of course top 5 teams are going to qualify for the Champions League anyway but this still doesn't change the fact that Juventus haven't had a good season. 

Napoli also got away more from top 7 by getting a 2-2 draw against Roma. The gap is 5 points and Fiorentina are also between. I don't feel like Napoli will manage to qualify for a tournament from now on. Their recent form is horrible and there is no hope with this poor level performance.

There is actually nothing certain on Mbappe's future yet. He also said that not much long ago. However I'm also believing that he will decide to leave PSG especially a certain thing happens.

If they don't manage to win the Champions League title this season as well then I think Mbappe wouldn't say. There is no meaning in staying longer in that case I mean.    He is seen as the best active player in the world by many people. But as long as he can't even add a Champions League trophy to his collection there is a big space in his career. He is playing great individually but for a player to be called the best I think that player should achieve titles in the biggest tournament too.

I'm just quoting what many people thought about Ancelotti's style in that game. That was why I used quotation marks while writing "annoying".    It was a really defensive play but that was a smart choice. There wasn't any other way to beat this powerful Manchester City in the end. We all know that.

Anyways it seems like Bayern Munich are in big trouble with many injury news. I mean really important players Sane, Musiala, Coman seem like injured and they all are likely to miss the first leg if the team doctor can't do something to make them catch up with the game. If this happens then I won't be surprised to see Real Madrid winning this game and gaining a big advantage before the rematch at Santiago Bernabeu.

Verstappen is a driver who every team would like to sign. While there is a 'crisis' situation at Red Bull things might get really serious in time. They are trying to solve the problem before it gets bigger but it is difficult to say whether this will end for the benefit of them. Verstappen made some neutral comments on Wolff's interest in him recently.

For now I'm just expecting Verstappen to focus on his racing. The contract rumours might be fake as well. News sources like to use a topic for spreading fake news for a long time in the end. But if this turns out to be a similar thing to the Hamilton - Ferrari thing then everyone would be surprised. 

Arsenal played a really critical game against Tottenham today and it was really delightful.    They seemed to have finished the game in the first half already by getting 3-0 ahead. But Tottenham made the game more interesting in the second half. Still a 2-1 win for Arsenal at the end which is a critical win in the title competition.

I saw this as the toughest matchup for Arsenal among their remaining fixtures. There is an away game at Old Trafford as well though. Manchester United beat them there the last time. I hope Arsenal don't fail in getting over this obstacle after this win. Otherwise Manchester City would announce the title.  

No I don't say that it will be very easy for Real Madrid of course. I'm just saying that Bayern Munich are the underdog, meaning they aren't favoured to reach the finale.  


I actually saw the information of some of them as injured on a website but sometimes these sources don't write the actual reason why. If they are really injured then Bayern Munich might be finished...

The so-called injury list is like this: de Ligt, Laimer, Musiala, Sane, Coman and Gnabry. Upamecano's condition is also said to be doubtful. I hope that most of them would be able to catch up with the first leg otherwise we are likely to watch a one-sided game in my opinion.

Because Inter didn't need to spend so much. Their squad was already strong previously and they didn't need a big improvement. They just wanted to improve the squad depth to not have big problems in serious injury situations. But this isn't the case for Juventus. Even their starting eleven isn't quality enough, they can't even score goals comfortably. This is a big problem.  


No, why would they lower their target? I didn't mean such thing. I'm saying that their squad isn't strong enough, this is an obvious fact. They literally can't score, don't you agree with that?

If we blame only the coach that would actually be nonsense. Allegri has a great history with Juventus. He achieved many Serie A titles with this team. If he is given enough money to strengthen the squad for next season I believe in him to carry the team into the title competition.

Ancelotti must really be aware of his ambition. However it is really not easy to give him a lot of time to play in a squad with full of star players. If it was similar to Barcelona squad then I wouldn't have any doubt about Arda Güler's finding many more chances. Ancelotti said that Arda Güler would stay with them this summer instead of a loan as well. I'm not feeling like this is good news for him.  

Because I mean in this way it is more difficult to see Arda Güler playing regularly. But if he goes to another team on loan and shows a great performance by playing regularly then his chance would be much higher at Real Madrid when he comes back.

Barcelona is going to sign a new contract with the young talent Pau Cubarsi soon. It is said that his new contract is going to include a release clause of 500 million euros as well. 

I'm not surprised with that number though. Because it is a common action to be taken by Barcelona when it comes to their young talents. They don't want them to be signed by other teams easily while building their future with these talented young players. For example players like Pedri, Gavi also have an enormous release clause which must be worth 1 billion euros. It is good that Xavi is staying as well because he gives these young players many chances to improve themselves.

It looks like Palmer is back in the squad today.    Now I'm more keen on watching this game. Because honestly Chelsea are horrible without Palmer.    In his presence at least Chelsea are able to create many more goal opportunities. However I'm still going for Aston Villa win here. These are really important games for staying in top four.

Liverpool's game has finished and it ended up really badly for them.   This 2-2 draw must have removed any remaining hope they had for the league title. Salah and Klopp argued with each other on the side of the pitch by the way. Probably it was because of benching Salah and subbing him on in a very late minute. I didn't understand this choice too.

There aren't some important players in the squad of their current game now. But we see some other main players anyway. Real Madrid did like a full rotation against Real Sociedad. I would have expected the from Bayern Munich as well. In the end the Bundesliga title has already been won by Leverkusen. Bayern Munich should act according to it.

Bayern Munich are already the underdog against Real Madrid in the matchup. They must be in their best condition for this tough challenge.    I'm curious about another thing by the way. Let's say Tuchel managed to win the Champions League title unexpectedly. Then do you think the board would change their mind about parting their ways with him? 

Conte is rumoured with every team these days as it seems.    However I'm not surprised at all of course. In the end Conte is one of the best options who are free agents right now. It is normal to see many big teams going after him this summer. But I'm curious about what his plans are these days.

If Conte would like to return to Italy then I also think he could sign for Napoli. Napoli are in a really desperate condition now. They really need a manager like Spalletti from now on. Conte is a great candidate. However if he goes to the Premier League I wouldn't be against it either. He had good achievements with Chelsea. 

If I'm not wrong Kick Sauber F1 and Haas teams both are going to part ways with their both drivers at the end of this season. As Kick Sauber F1 has already announced one of their drivers I wonder who the other one will be. Hulkenberg is an experienced driver. Therefore maybe his teammate would be a young talent. Just like the Bottas - Zhou duo.

About Haas I have also heard about Bearman rumours. But Haas had better improve their car more to give him a more decent car. Otherwise having an unstable car and an unexperienced driver both might not be for their advantage.    Haas haven't started too badly though maybe they can get better in time.
