Dow futures -91

Pull out now. Feels like when I liquidated my portfolio in 08 to watch the markets crash shortly after

-91 is not extraordinary. Can you elaborate?

Oh great, now this looks more and more like a pyramid scheme every time some one brings out this kind of data!!

like this one?

Exactly! Now make one look for bitcoin & you will notice we are not only alllllllllllllllll the way at the bottom but when the "bitcoin rich" combine wallets you notice they are holding all the chips & we are fighting for scraps... Why support something that is about to become VERY centralized??? just wondering... why???  Huh

The big players can only spend a Bitcoin once. No printing games, no bailouts, no pork. Let first adopters be first adopters. In time, the distribution will become better. Ask yourself: who creates value day in day out?

PPC has some characteristics that makes it more attractive for mainstream actors: a flexible supply and more coins. Psychology counts big, I am afraid. PPC is not done yet as altcoin.

BTE is the original.

I think (not sure yet) that there is a good chance that we will see double digits before we go up again (reversal).

I won't buy extra until $100. Promising  Cool

I hope the whiners stay away after this price lull.

Next spike $560,000 14 months from now
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHHAHAHAHAHHAHAH[...]

my exact reaction, when they predict bitcoin to $2

I'm sure someone will bid $42 million worth of BTC @ $2. No worries  Roll Eyes
3772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 04, 2014, 09:47:02 PM
Price just needs to crater to get buyer confidence back. Nothing new, has been done 10.000x in history of markets.
3773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Investor Cycles of Emotion, Ignorance on: October 04, 2014, 09:45:16 PM
Buying pressure will increase at some point.... eventually.
3774  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: October 04, 2014, 08:35:27 PM
I repost a Risto's mythic post, one of the best I have ever read in this forum:

Blockchain, as a technology, is indestructible.

[...]

I believe that the next one might carry us north of $10,000. The longer time we spend here, the more explosive it gets. The supermove from $2 to $266 (133x price appreciation) took 17 months. Extrapolate that with the starting point of $340 in 2014-4-11.

Today we have lost the 340, and I expect to bottom on 275 on Tuesday. Free coins today and then!!

You will have to edit the "starting point of $340 in 2014-4-11" sentence by, perhaps, "starting point of $275 in December 2014" in the future, but that doesn't change the message of that mythic post at all.

A Mythic Post indeed  Cool
3775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 04, 2014, 07:45:34 AM
Stop being a perma-bull and accept the situation.

Noone is buying from the asks. Support is weak. The only volume is the market dumps. We have breached far too many historic support points.
There haven't been nay significant bounces lately.

Huobi is going ahead and made a new low half an hour ago.

At least just make sure that you don't lose money you can't afford to lose in this mess.

Indeed. Just accept that demand is not matching supply for now. Comfort yourself by thinking of the demand vs supply at $10. Imagine the buying frenzy. The Bitcoin adventure is far from over yet.

medium of exchange; yes great. store of value; not so great. Unit of account; not at all

I have a different view.

medium of exchange; yes great.
store of value; volatile, but upwards (on a longer term view)
Unit of account; not at all excellent

So the only thing 'lacking' is more stability in price. That will come ....... at higher prices.

The distribution scheme of NuShares is a complete disaster, black box operation. How can others have confidence when you distribute this way? I would recommend everyone to stay the hell away from this.

Like I said, it sounds too complicated.
