3761  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: January 15, 2018, 03:51:14 PM
For me if bitcoin had a stable price, it will be much popular.
Well for me  i dont really think that  if bitcoin had a stable price is it will be more popular because if btc price is we will be stable it will not have a chance to pump its value really high.

That is right, and I don't think that bitcoin will be having it's popularity without it's volatility since there are a lot of people who are relying on the volatility of bitcoin to have a profit or income. If bitcoin was not volatile, and there are still some users, then I think they are using it as an trading tool, or an currency used in payment online which I think will be widely accepted.
3762  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: January 15, 2018, 01:32:43 PM
Currently, cryptocurrency and especially Bitcoin have very good protection system, not disclose personal information of the trader. It is easy for organizations and individuals to take advantage of this to use Bitcoin for malicious purposes. So I see Bitcoin cannot reduce the corruption because it happens from that country so they have to find a solution.

Bitcoin is not anonymous still a lot of people are using bitcoin to some activities related to crimes. The government here in our country said that it may be a way to launder money and have a transaction to the terrorists, it can't be used to corrupt but it can still be used to these kind of crimes. I agree that it will not eliminate or even reduce that activity of corruption but still be a threat when used in money laundering and other crimes.
3763  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really anonymous? on: January 15, 2018, 12:39:35 PM
My questions is not on the technical side, since obviously you can create an address in a very much anonymous way. However, when it comes to spending it or convert it into fiat or even when spending it on a legit shop online you have to leave an identity trace.

I know that with small transactions is fine, under the radar basically, but what happens with significant ammounts?

I am asking this because I intend to become rich in 4 or 5 weeks Grin Grin
Well we don't know or i don't know that bitcoin is really anonymous because bitcoin has a many many securities and it cannot be easily hack or be known as anonymous.

Bitcoin is not really anonymous, transaction IDs are all over the internet and it can be tracked so the person sending that bitcoin can still be identified, but I think that will be illegal. As far as I know there are a group of people who did some of research last year and ended up telling that bitcoin is not really anonymous and not been commonly used by criminals, they may be using it but they can still be traced and identified.
3764  Economy / Economics / Re: Many new rich people are created from Bitcoin on: January 15, 2018, 12:04:12 PM
True, perhaps many new rich people are created from bitcoin because bitcoin has been shown to provide a better life and make a lot of money.

There are a lot of people and ways to earn millions and billions of money, not only bitcoin and digital currencies can be the reason of this millionaires and billionaires. Also, most of these millionaires and billionaires are already at that position, there are a only few people who really become rich because of bitcoin and other digital currencies. I am earning some digital currencies but it just give me some amount that I can use in my every day needs.
3765  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: January 15, 2018, 10:52:39 AM
Well, Bitcoin is not a predictable currency, No one is able to predict either it increase or Nor it decrease. But frequently listening to news one can get some ideas.

Bitcoin can be predicted, but only predictions they can't still pinpoint the exact time or day the price will move. Listening and watching news or videos about some current events can help you with your trading using bitcoin but there are still some time that you can do it wrong. I think setting a good price to sell or trade your bitcoin is the best thing to do since you can't just wait for a certain price to happen.
3766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2018, 10:29:44 AM
We should first listen to them that why they don't liking bitcoin . Then i will tell them its advantages and try to  give more information about bitcoins .

That is right, bitcoin is mostly misunderstood by a lot of people especially to our people where it was told in the news that someone was scammed using this digital currency. At first I was thinking that it might be a reverse thing and might attract more people to know what bitcoin and digital currencies are, but some started and told other people that it is a way used by scammers to victim people. I just hope it will be understood clearly in the end.
3767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: January 14, 2018, 12:03:58 PM
I do believe that people had always the opportunity to work from home such as a freelancer or trader in forex markets which is kinda similar to btc markets. But btc opened our eyes.

Why is that? Bitcoin is not something that can open your eyes but something you can earn and save. When you are talking about freelancing, I guess it is just the same in bitcoin, the way we earn them it is the same, but the difference is that bitcoin, while you are busy to earn them, they are pumping, the price increases the reason a lot of people wants to earn it and earning them is easier than working on a freelancing services.
3768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support altcoins ? on: January 14, 2018, 10:45:21 AM
An alternative is needed, it is safe. On the other hand, how would exchange trading work if it were not for altcoin?

That is right, it is not that bad to trade other digital currencies besides bitcoin, also imagine trading only bitcoin in exchanges, do you think it will be a good trade? Just trading BTC to USD and vice versa, that is pretty boring and I don't think that will attract more traders or investors. Also, not all people are that kind of attracted to bitcoin, some of them are also attracted to some alternative coins just like Ethereum and XRM.
3769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Bitcoin supply on: January 14, 2018, 08:53:59 AM
In Satoshi's vision, this idea is a nonsense. Btw, it's also impossible, technically speaking.

I think it is possible but the thing will not be accepted by a lot of people who are currently supporting bitcoin and the people who have a huge number of investment or number of bitcoin in their bitcoin wallets. That will be also having a great effect on the bitcoin price and might take it down or maybe up in the near future if it was passed through the debate of that idea which I think will really not happen.
3770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: January 14, 2018, 08:28:21 AM
You should continue doing your job. And if you have free time you can still explore bitcoin and earn more

Quitting your job is not advisable since you can still work with your job at the same time exploring the forum and watching carefully the prices of digital currencies you hold and buy but if you really want to dive more into digital currencies and you think that it can give you more profit or income than your current job, I guess it can be but be sure that you will be having a good profit and income from replacing your job with bitcoin and digital currencies.
3771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: January 14, 2018, 08:05:14 AM
I choose bitcoin because it is more practical than paypal, western union or perfect money, I often send money to various countries so need a fast payment system, cheap cost and of course safe, and bitcoin can fulfill what I want.

Do you really send bitcoins right now? I think its more expensive to send money in bitcoin than paypal. If it is year ago, then probably. But right now its not a good idea anymore.

I agree, bitcoin has an expensive fee these days and I think that it may increase more since the price is also increasing. I don't think that it will be cheaper since the price are starting to increase more this year and the fee will do the same. It is better not to use bitcoin because of it's fee and transaction speed since it is not that cheap and quick with it, better use bitcoin because of it's probability in pumping in the future.
3772  Economy / Economics / Re: plan for the future with bitcoin on: January 13, 2018, 04:23:59 PM
My plans with bitcoin for the future is very simple, it is to try to buy it and keep it with me as I am sure that the price from the present in the future will be many times greater

Yes, the price might be more higher that time so buying them I think is not worth it. I think I will be just work and earn some bitcoin I can earn and start saving them until in the future the price is great for selling them. I am also planning to invest on some of the good ICOs in the future so I think saving them is the best way than spending them.
3773  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: January 13, 2018, 02:19:31 PM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?
yes it was a great thinking to teach them about savings because savings is can give them a better life in the future so that's great if you teach them.

Well, kids do not really think about money and wealth in their life, all they care is the toys they play, the friends they play with and the parents that take care of them all the time. I think if you teach kids about saving, that will help them mature in the way they think about things and people around them. But I think they cannot stop themselves still from buying toys they like.
3774  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: January 13, 2018, 12:47:12 PM
This will be a great idea. But the problem is, banks can easily manipulate us, can freeze your funds immediately and unable to use it.

And why is that? I think banks has some reasons to do things in their services but I think they will not do anything unreasonable like freezing our funds that easily. If there will comes a time that no one is using cash and just use digital currencies, I think there will be a lot of time where you will be sending a lot of money and i think that will be really unreasonable to freeze your account that easily..
3775  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: January 13, 2018, 12:08:11 PM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

I think it's possible that the millionaires have investments in bitcoin as well because they have a lot of money and it's easy for them to invest and earn a lot of profit in bitcoin

Bitcoin has also it's own risks so I think even if they are millionaires or billionaires, they won't escape the risk or the volatility of bitcoin so they are chances that they are not investing on bitcoin. Well, a lot of people said that it is just a bubble, so people especially the millionaires and billionaires will also think it is a risk investing to it so they rather avoid it, or invest on it with a little amount just to test it out.
3776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: January 13, 2018, 11:45:57 AM
Age is just a number. I see a lot of young guys who can't understand crypto. That's their personal problem.

But these young guys you re talking about know that bitcoin and other digital currencies can give them good money or profit in the future the reason why there is a lot of them that are having a fortune now because of bitcoin and digital currencies. Old people in the contrast, I think is not that late especially is they are skilled and knowledgeable enough of things. They also have a lot of experience so I think they are not late, they are just late bloomers.
3777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2018, 11:15:24 AM
Take a look around the crypto community, both in meatspace and online, and it would be fair to say that the majority of participants are male. This is borne out in a recent survey of 2,000 Americans which shed light on the makeup of the bitcoin space, highlighting a stark gender divide. In fact, Google Analytics data estimates less than 4% of bitcoin users to be female. The question is, why?

Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/why-arent-there-more-women-in-bitcoin/?utm_source=Why
I also don't know why more men than women who use Bitcoin. I still wondering will this. Hope anyone can answer with details.

I think there are some girl or women who uses bitcoin and most of them are in US, which has the most users of bitcoin, think that will be obvious. Girls and women are all on things that can help them or maybe they can use so I think bitcoin is one of them. But what I am thinking is that does it matter? Apparently people will know bitcoin eventually and also the population of men to women is 2 to 1 or maybe 3 to 1 so I think that may be a reason.
3778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: January 13, 2018, 10:46:11 AM
I am surprised the price of bitcoin now because i honestly did not think that it would ever get this high and keep going up.

I think I am not that surprised with the price pump of bitcoin and other digital currencies since a lot of people predicted it will be, I also agree with their predictions and I think it is because only a few people know what bitcoin is and since it's price is dependent on the law of demand and supply, if a lot of people start buying and using bitcoin obviously it will pump and go high like what happened.
3779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if Bitcoin Price Crashes on: January 13, 2018, 06:19:20 AM
If the currency collapse, there was nothing we could do, we can only accept the fact, because now we hold COINS are attracted by its high return, we use to hold the currency as an investment,

If that happens then I think a lot of people will quickly forget the digital currency they used to hold or save for the future. But I don't see this coming since there are a lot of people, more like whales that can control or maybe protect the price from falling. There are also this "good Satoshi" theory that Satoshi, the one who invented bitcoin, holds millions of bitcoin to control it and lead it to a good path.
3780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be more profitable in the upcoming years? on: January 11, 2018, 10:57:25 PM
I think in 2018 this bitcoin price with a stable price. I'm sure the bitcoin price next year will be higher because more people are investing in bitcoin. And also the higher the bitcoin price. Because for them, bitcoin really helps their home life so they use it a lot.

Just hope that lightning will come out soon so the transaction we be more cheaper. Have already seen that many sites moved from BTC to ETH, Litecoin, Monero etc just because of the fees.

Then I think you are not using those since you've said that. I've been trading Ethereum this week and things are getting harder. Since the pump of ETH, it is now like bitcoin to transact even if you have a good fee. The network are having a hard time coping up with the users and transaction that it takes to transact .2 ETH about 3 to 4 hours.
