3761  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: June 12, 2017, 09:37:07 AM
For me bitcoin is the fastest transaction ive ever known unlike cash.
No, it's not fastest. It depend on how much fee you have reserved for every transaction you make, also if your balance accumulated from dust transaction you have to set higher fee in order to make your transaction confirmed quickly.

You need cash too, to pay your daily needs because with Bitcoin you can't pay anything you want.

But if you have the same wallet, you can have a good transaction, the same as the one I am using right now, I can receive transactions quick. But what I like on Bitcoin is the freedom, the way we can manage our money to ourselves without others interfering. And with that, just a few people know that you are rich.
3762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: June 12, 2017, 12:56:34 AM
I think, banks will not be disappear. Instead, they'll start using bitcoins instead of fiat currency with some regulations like in fiat.
That has a possibility to happen but making bank disappear that is impossible. Bitcoin is not that powerful to make that happen. But if you want to save your money like in a bank you can used different wallet.

Yes I agree.  Bitcoin cannot make banks disappear.  Like what you said, maybe they will try to adopt and open their banks to accept bitcoin deposits and withdrawals.  Things that fiat money can do.  You can loan bitcoin and invest.  But it is hard again because of its unstable price.

With time when people realize giving themselves the power instead of letting the bank have it is a far better way to live. The bank will just take you money and loan it out making fat interest on it yearly.

Only if peer to peer technology replaces the loaning facilities that banks provide to users will they disappear. Most people don't store their money in banks already, but they do use them for home mortgages and business loans and the like.

Correct, due to the massive info campaign that it is not ideal to save money on bank because it will be defeated by inflation, people tend to invest their money instead of saving it on banks. But there are still who prefers saving money to banks so it can be ready for use at anytime they needed it.

its indeed not a good decision since we knew btc and we do know that btc can do bank task more advance and less hassle.

Less hassle? yes. But you need to be more patient. With the transactions and confirmations so slow these days, you don't know when will you receive your bitcoins. The good thing about these digital currency is that you can be a bank of your own money, you can manage it the way you want it.
3763  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the Reason for increase of the Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2017, 10:40:45 PM
What is the Reason for increase of the Bitcoin?

Are you asking about the reason why bitcoin is increasing in price? or popularity? If bitcoin was invested and used by many people, the price of bitcoin increases, that is demand. If many of these investors and users sold their bitcoin, it will be ending in a dump, it may not be a big dump but it will decrease the price. Also if many users use to pay or transfer bitcoin everyday, it will also make it pump.
3764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 11, 2017, 05:18:41 PM
First lets see how will 1st of August play out if everything goes smooth well I'd say sky is the limit. But if chain splits and all that it will just cause the price to decrease and people will move to fiat or ETH , DASH  or some other crypto.

I;d say we might get above 3k$ when Australia legalized it maybe 3100$ or something or I might be wrong as well. But I don't see that it will hit 4000$ in the near future, at least not for now. It could hit 4k$ once thats for sure.

Yeah, that will be the basis of the price these upcoming month. But I think, even before August come, bitcoin price will be dumping, not a big dump, but it will be decreasing little by little. Because we all know that there are people that will be panicking about these netwok split, $4000 bitcoin price can wait, for now, let's focus on what's coming.
3765  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3000$? when? on: June 11, 2017, 03:36:43 PM
Why is it bitcoin  having a hard time passing the 3000$ wall?  Do you know whats the reason behind this undestructible  wall, or bitcoin already reached its highest price .whats your opinion about this?

Maybe because of the upcoming network splitting, some are having second thoughts of what might happen to bitcoin and their investments. We all know that every time there are upcoming splitting, most users sell their bitcoins making a huge dump, I think after these August, price will be pumping up again.
3766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: June 11, 2017, 02:06:41 PM
If between gambling and investing, I choose the better investing due to deposits of the future is already there so you have to worry because the tidal life future of already existing collateral but if gambling isn't necessarily your savings for the future because the more you will be hard to stop gambling addiction so avoid from possibility to deposit the gambling capital

I will go to investing too, it can give you profit, there may still a risk, but if you wanna earn profit, you must take on the risk. And gambling is just my hobby, a way to have fun, there are still times where I hope to win, but I think it js just great that even I play a lot of times everyday, I don't get addicted to it.
3767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the bitcoin function for you? on: June 11, 2017, 10:07:09 AM
Bitcoin for me is one of the sources of income that makes a difference in my life all this time.
Which is important I follow the mining, trading, gambling, signcamp and I redeem bitcoin into real money and I finally get a profit.

Wow, that is great, you have a lot of ways to earn bitcoin, though I am not that serious on earning bitcoin. I am happy with the profits that these digital currency are giving me, and I am fine with it, it helps me a little and I save for a future use, my parents are being happy with it they even planned to invest on bitcoin, though I don't know if they though.
3768  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: June 11, 2017, 08:26:28 AM
Gold has been there as an investment option for centuries now but Bitcoin has been there for seven or so years. Gold has a physical presence and holds more value than Bitcoin. Each and every nation has tons of gold reserve. So i think holding gold is better.

I think holding gold is very good, and as long as you hold it for a long time, it will have a good price and will give you a good profit. While in bitcoin the price always changes every minute, it is very volatile, which is so hard to predict, and will give you a hard time, but,if you can handle it good, these two really is a good assets. So if I will pick with these two, I will pick them all.
3769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Live]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: June 11, 2017, 04:19:11 AM
You should show how much investment is made by people on crowdsale panel. I think this will be useful for investors. For example, BTC address is the same for each potantial supporter but you may do it by using tx of the coin or asset which was invested.

Secondly, i beg, please show total investment as $ on main page. We are tired of using a calculator. Smiley

These are simple things for you.

I don't know who are you talking to sir, and I think you didn't see the investments which is on their website, there are a lot of coins used to invest there that is why we can't just total it out. The price is currenctly changing and it will be bothersome for them to update it every minute, because I know that if it goes wrong, someone will complain about it.
3770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: June 10, 2017, 10:28:03 PM
The best part about Bitcoin is its easy and mobility nature and its low stress attached.

When you have 100 Bitcoins in your wallet and when you have 100 thousand dollars in your bank account there is difference because your wallet does not want to know how come you get the money that was deposited for it being that huge, but your bank will call you to know what job qualification you have and lots of other questions to be asked .........

That is true, I also love the decentralization of Bitcoin, though, the efficiency of these digital currency is the problem. When you're money is in a bank, you can transact quickly using your money, the bank where I used to save money doesn't have any fees on these. Another one is that, many stores still don't accept bitcoin, despite of it's price, it still needs to be converted to fiats.
3771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to pick one, would it be the Legacy chain or BIP 148? on: June 10, 2017, 02:33:32 PM
The hypothetical situation I am thinking about is no side will win. It could end up with 2 chains like ETH and ETC. Then if you had to pick one chain, what would it be? This is more like a question to gather opinions than what one would actually do for real.

I think that too, the same as BU, why do we need to do a network split? They can just create another altcoin, they don't need to change the bitcoin we used to know, most of us are contented to what bitcoin is now, right? Why do we need to do such thing. I will be staying in BTC not in other altcoin.
3772  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: June 10, 2017, 04:36:09 AM
Now the price of the bitcoin has reached $2800 and looks like it will continue to be strengthened, I expect this year will reach the bitcoin price $5000 or more and will never drop to levels below the $2000.

Of course one day can reach $ 5000, although we do not know exactly when the price increase can be achieved, but of course this is only hope bitcoin users, because until now not accurate data that provides certainty about bitcoin.

I doubt bitcoin will reach $5000 this year, it is reaching $2800 but I don't think it will be reaching even $4000. I think it will take another 1 year before it reaches $5000. The bitcoin price is very unpredictable and we still don't know if it will be really happening.
3773  Other / Meta / Re: Where is Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcointalk Profile? on: June 09, 2017, 09:19:21 PM
I have read a lot of posts made by Satoshi on this forum someone post a quotes from his posts there was a thread somewhere just for that . and

about if he is still here or not ! I believe or love to believe he is there watching how far his project gone but just under fake ID . I really wish

him all the best where ever he is .

I just did too, and it is great seeing the Satoshi Nakamoto posting once here. But I don't think that he is logging in on these forum now, the last time he was contacted about bitcoin, he said that he was busy to other things, we still don't know what it was, in the past I thought of maybe he regretted creating these digital currency, but now I don't think so.
3774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: June 09, 2017, 02:35:08 PM
All goods that can be bought with money can be bought with bitcoin, including drugs. The fact is that many drug dealers and gangsters use bitcoin as a means of payment, very bad indeed, but that's the fact

Not all, there are still things that cannot be bought by bitcoins or any other digital currency. For example, a house, a house is a really expensive thing to be bought by a bitcoin, not only that the price of bitcoin is volatile, only a few of people knew bitcoin. If a seller accepts bitcoin, that seller will not know if the price of bitcoin will be giving a good profit, and for me, I don't see that a trade of money to asset, but an asset to asset.
3775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 07, 2017, 09:15:16 AM
I'll say it one more time it's great that you can earn money from your "hobby".Currently I try to save money for summer vacation.I planning to go a trip with my girlfriend, so I suppose it's has more a entertaining character than a serious one.

Well, having a reason to save money, or even bitcoin is really exciting, and also the volatility of bitcoin adds up to the excitement, because while you are saving your bitcoin, it's price is also increasing making it more attractive to convert to fiats. I am also saving for my family's trip, though I don't know if it will be enough.
3776  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: June 07, 2017, 06:40:26 AM
Upon checking poloniex, btc price is at low right now.
I think this is the best time to buy btc  Shocked
LOL. The prices have just increased rapidly and I do not think that it is a good idea to buy bitcoin right now. However, if you are a long-term investor, now is the best time to buy bitcoin because I have the strong feeling that bitcoin will never return to this price anymore 2018

I agree, if you do not have patience, it is not best to buy bitcoin but ifyou are willing to wait for several years, anytime is the best time for bitcoin as long as the market has not been saturated.  Bitcoin current trend is bullish, we can still see another set of increase in Bitcoin price, Australia will have a big factor on the next push.

Now that lot of countries were targeting to accept btc,it will definitely pump again so save now.

What countries actually, I've been seeing posts about Australia accepting bitcoin but not any other countries besides Australia. Either way, yesterday the price pumped to $2800 and that was really shocking, I thought that with the network splitting these upcoming August will start a panic, but it didn't,  I think the users learned their lesson from the last Hard Fork thing.
3777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please, Stop Calling Bitcoin "Digital Gold" on: June 07, 2017, 02:26:15 AM
I have seen people start to call BTC "Digital Gold" in a delusional attempt to ignore serious issues.
Please pay attention to this fact:
"Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" ~Satoshi

BTC is not "Digital Gold" as our founder clearly stated.
Bitcoin is an amazing experiment which is currently on life support, despite the rush of fools who insist on recreating a Tulip Bubble Ponzi Mania.

Please, Stop Calling Bitcoin "Digital Gold".
Thank you.

ps. (Unanswered from a previous thread)
What "store of value" is relevant when suddenly ~ hundreds of thousands of merchants worldwide can no longer accept BTC due to high fees?

True or False?
"Digital Gold" is a BS claim from people who deny the reality of the current crisis?

True or False?
Do you want BTC to be only for rich people?

I think you don't need to dig deeper why people call it a Digital Gold, As said in the first reply, it has a traits the same as Gold which is also as the best investment, and also the time it surpasses Gold's price, it is always compared to Gold, but the only difference is that Gold is tangible and Bitcoin is not.
3778  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobody Can Have Benefit From a Big Pump on: June 07, 2017, 12:48:10 AM
If Bitcoin price pumps from $1300 to $3000 in few hours, nobody would make profit from it, because the exchanges wouldn't allow you to sell your Bitcoins and make the fast profit, it would bring a big loss for exchange sites.

Do you agree with this?

I didn't know what will happen, but I think it can be a possibility. I think they will be waiting for hours or maybe days before they can allow someone to sell it. But, if you can't sell it, maybe you can convert it. I am using a coins.ph wallet where we can convert bitcoin into fiat in a second, so I think if they did not allow me to do a cash out, I will be converting that bitcoin into fiat. And after a dump, I will be converting it again to bitcoin.
3779  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: June 06, 2017, 11:26:09 PM
Yes. Better be wise while you were still young. There's nothing wrong if you save. It's only for your future. Many would say, you have to enjoy life and buy things you want but it's probably a wise move if you save for your future. Today, you maybe dependant on your parent but in the future you must be the one to give them and bring back the things they have done for you. And I guess, you can do that if you start saving bitcoin for them.

I don't really like young people going all in in bitcoin, I mean they are young, they can do better thing than earning bitcoin, and with their naive and fresh mind, you can't expect them to do giod things. And what are you planning to do to make them earn bitcoin, join a signature campaign? Not all young people can do that. And do they even know bitcoin?
3780  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 06, 2017, 09:26:41 PM
For me it's no, because if the bitcoin change the Dollar, I think bitcoin value were going down because bitcoin is the basis of Bitcoin price in the market. Moreover, billion years bitcoin beat the Dollar in the market because trust of all people were already earn by Dollar.

That is right, besides, what can they gain using bitcoin? the fact that it is a good asset, it has a slow transaction, I mean slow confirmation especially when you pay cheap for the fee. Only some of the stores accept bitcoin because of it's volatility. And yeah, the trust of people is on fiats, we are using these fiats for a long time now, they can't just forget about it at that time.
