That is my story: Roadway from zero to hero

Thanks for sharing your story in my thread. I was so happy that I will read a new story because lately, there were only a few publications here.

Unfortunately, I have already read this thread just after your publication and even shared a short commented wishing you luck.

Still, this is very good that you shared the link here and I encourage every member to this same if already has his story published somewhere.

Always the chance is bigger that somebody will find this link and read your content if links are widely spread on the forum, especially to quality content.
3782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright is official a fraud on: August 29, 2019, 04:29:11 PM
This is so good to see such outcome in this case but from another side, when I start to think about it, then I start to be really worry because the amounts of BTC are overwhelming and we can not forget that Kleiman's family would have to pay 40% in taxes from the received amount, which can be the reason for BTC price dump if they will have to sell Bitcoins to pay these taxes.

Don't mention about all these taxes which CW will have to pay either when he will try to sell his Bitcoins. These could be for sure the highest taxes in Bitcoin history so far.
I am really afraid that at the end of January 2020 the BTC sell of will start which will crash the price for a very long time.

What do you think about this? Is this another threat? Or CW doesn't have this BTC in the first place and there is no Tulip fund which releases this coins 21 January 2020?
3783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would this finally be a real Satoshi? CW lost the Kleimans case!!! on: August 29, 2019, 04:04:55 PM
Finally great news from Kleimans case!!!

CW has to pay 50% of all mined BTC back to Kleimans family and additionally 50% of the intellectual property.

Of course, CW (Faketoshi) has now the right to not accept and go further with court cases but the first one is already lost and the judge calls CW a simple lier.

This is so good to see such outcome but from another side, when I start thinking about it, then I start to worry because the amounts of BTC are overwhelming and we can not forget that Kleimans family would have to pay 40% in taxes from the received amount, which can be the reason for BTC price dump if they will have to sell Bitcoins to pay the taxes.

What do you think about this? Is this another threat? Or CW doesn't have this BTC in the first place and there is no Tulip fund which releases this coins 21 January 2020?

...utility token ewoulował w coin o możliwościach etherum i regularnie odbija ETH kolejne projekty (FTM, PHX, RVN, MITH, GTEX, CAN, ANKR, ARN, BOLT, GTO, BCPT - lista z końcówki maja)...

Ja to widzę zupełnie inaczej.

3788  Local / Polski / Nowe forum; split z: Jak zmienić wygląd Bitcointalk na ciemny (Dark Theme)? on: August 29, 2019, 07:13:06 AM

Epochtalk i Bitcointalk - pytania, ciekawostki, sugestie. on: August 28, 2019, 11:33:16 PM

What now? What future plans have Minexcoin? Is there any roadmap?

I understand that the money from ICO ended already or will be very soon. That is why I ask all these questions and if anybody knows the answer I will be very curious to know them.

For sure Boris (Demolition Man) has a backup plan  Wink. I don't know a new algorithm or any other secret weapon which will bring Minexcoin to the top of CMC  Grin Grin Grin.

Lucky i did not work for this project, if people complain it must be something wrong with develop, sorry for that!

It was a great project for some time and could be still running smoothly if the developer doesn't disappear or handed over to the community when there was still time to do something.

RIP Masternodecoin - is the truth.

...Thread is not yet updated because I am a bit busy.

It would be great to update the opening post because the majority of the links provided are just not working or the threads are closed a long time ago.

I have checked a lot of them, especially merit giveaways and services. To be honest it was a waste of time actually.

OP please update links in the first post or add an annotation that they can be outdated and not working properly to let members know and to spare them some time.
3793  Other / Meta / Re: The ignore button @ theymos... on: August 28, 2019, 09:04:14 PM
Please can you change the Ignore option on the forum...

I think the IGNORE function is actually good as it is, only the SHOW/HIDE button is broken and shows only one line with a single sentence, which is not enough to be able to read.

This problem can be solved by adjusting the SHOW button, to fully display the entire post even with quotes.

A single line is just not enough because it is not possible to read or even to scroll properly to see other sentences or quotes.

I was forced many times to Unignore members, only to be able to read their post and to IGNORE them back again just after.

All because I was not able to read the post when used SHOW function and sometimes I am just curies if the quality changed, especially when I haven't seen Ignored member for a while.

you are excluded from theymos trustlist,so who cares what you wants?your colleagues?

This comment is fully off-topic and should be deleted.

Off-topic replies have become a big problem. From now on, I will be deleting such replies without notice, forum-wide. If your replies disappear, this is probably why.

All replies must respond to the topic's original post in some way, even if they are replying to an on-topic reply. If your reply has nothing to do with the topic post, either add some content that is relevant or create a new topic.

Please report off-topic posts as soon as you see them.
3794  Other / Meta / Re: @Theymos. Is this still the case? on: August 28, 2019, 01:37:20 PM
Such cases have to be handled one by one and more information is needed to be sure if this an off-topic post and then if it is, of course, should be deleted but...

From the moment I read this post from Theymos:
Off-topic replies have become a big problem. From now on, I will be deleting such replies without notice, forum-wide. If your replies disappear, this is probably why.

I started worrying because there are for sure overwhelming many off-topic posts. Many times the main topic of the thread is forced to be changed during the discussion and I have seen such threads, participated in them and posted such answers by my own. That are very valuable side discussions, which finally in the majority of cases come back to the main topic when the side discussion finally ends. Many times OP himself triggers such a side discussion in his own thread.

I was always sure that even if the post is off-topic then, another one, for example, an answer to this off-topic post is automatically a valid post, despite it is still off-topic to the main topic of the thread.

I don't think this is even possible that every post in, let's say mega-thread could be fully on topic. Therefore, checking each case individually is crucial to be sure that the post is really off-topic and ads nothing to the actual discussion.

Both you and OP deserve the rank up, good luck on the journey boys - you both got a 50 off me!

This is so true that both of you deserved this promotion. I am very happy to see OP as a senior member and @TytanowyJanusz as a hero member (very soon).

Congratulations to both of you (self-made senior members) because ranking up is not so easy these days. Additionally, wish you good luck in the journey to the next rank.
3796  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Livecoin.net Scam on: August 28, 2019, 07:41:21 AM
So its agreed that this exchange is not to be trusted yet your still shilling it?

No, we agreed that the flag was not removed only the support for it because of mistake. Has nothing to do if I believe Livecoinis a scam.

I have told already:

...If you ask me "is Livecoin exchange safe to use?", I would answer: "just like any other not regulated exchange". If you ask me: "is Livecoin a scam?", I would answer: "just like any other not regulated exchange"...

Please read the thread before jumping into commenting.

Additionally, you are accusing me to be a shill of Livecoin which is in your opinion a scam. When I look at your signature I see that you are promoting Bitsler, so as always I made a very quick search on Google using the query: Bitsler + scam, look how many scam accusations against Bitssler I found only on half of the first page:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2180191.0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUM1qlmns50
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xb7qIgXIIm4
http://bittrust.org/bitsler
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3262442.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1582471.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2353070.0

This is only a small part of scam accusations found immediately in the first couple of links. I don't know if they are legit or not, but this is the best example that one and very complicated support issue, like in Livecoin case is not enough to call it a scam and if yes it is enough then be honest and call all scammers by the name and stop promoting them.

Almost all that we are advertising here on Bitcointalk is not legal, half legal, registered in tax heavens, has no licenses, fake licenses in gambling heavens, there are multiple scam accusations against.

The only solution would be to stop all campaigns.

Do you really want that to happen?

...if you look closely , you will find out that even some of the most trusted escrow agents who have been on DT for so long have some negative feedback on their profile...

I can understand that established member with years of history in DT has even a few red paints but these profiles above I even don't recognize.

Never seen them on the forum this is very strange. Not only red-painted but almost all of them. I don't recognize even 1% of these usernames.

As I said the core of our trust system are members I even can't recognize.

...Jakie wasze predykcje?

3800  Other / Meta / Re: Percentages of DT1, DT2 & normal users in top100 merited profiles, merit senders on: August 27, 2019, 11:28:12 AM
...I worry much more about DT-members who haven't earned a single Merit...

This is really worrying. Not only almost 200 DT members don't have single merit but additionally, I see red trusted members between them. How is this even possible?

@Mickeywith is completely right saying:

...there are only 10 to 15 widely trusted members...Getting on DT list is relatively easy nowadays, therefore it should never be used as an indication of trustworthiness...

Looks like is much easier than I though. I understand that merits are not for trust measurement but no merits at all by 200 DT members is something I haven't expected.

In the old system where Theymos chose DT members, they were always the most trusted once on the forum (without any doubt), especially at the moment of election.

Actual trust system is totally different and even red-painted members are in DT so this "should never be used as an indication of trustworthiness."

This is not only unexpected but also scary because they are the core of the trust system, which we fully depend on.

We have minimum 1 merit rule, which was implemented after the merit system started. I think this rule should be equal and valid for everybody not only newbies.

Every member should get minimum one merit (in the last 3 months) to be able to rank up, be elected to DT, any other function (merit source, etc.) or even simple campaign.
