YES. It is must. Children should not be able to access to any kind of gambling. The card game "Snap" is a form of gambling. (ie who can snap the card faster - some games don't require money to change hands) We all know that gambling is very addictive and children do not know how to handle addiction, just think about when they play video games. True, children stay at home and play video games in a safe environment. They didn't even know when to stop, they just want to play all day. A study has found children expel more energy when they are active (especially if they have been fed sugar). Healthy children play all day. So there must be a limit in everything. Especially this thread which has run its course. Gambling is a very serious matter when it comes to children.
So you say - let's ban sugar and children running around outside. ...and if you don't know this post is tongue in cheek, you need to get outside more often...

It's worth pointing out that BitcoinGirl.Club's password was reset via email just over 1 hour before the above post by Side chain.
Not sure if significant or relevant.
BitcoinGirl.Club changes their password fairly regularly, so they'd be hard pressed to claim their account was hacked (or sold for that matter) He may forge a story...
"I WAS HACKED"
And I was one of the ones Pamoldar sent that PM to.

Bit OT but I sorta find it ironic that the Bitcointalk community finds account sales (which involves the sale of perceived trust / reputation, which sometimes leads to scams) deplorable yet social media bounty campaigns (which usually involve the crowdsourced purchase of perceived trust / reputation through artificially inflated social media metrics, which sometimes leads to scams) are all a-OK.
And how many of those UID's have contributed to this discussion?

Considering you distrust most, if not all users' contributing to this thread, then you really must be confused if you think anyone's going to take you seriously at this point.
That's not true. I don't distrust most, let alone all users contributing to this thread. And it doesn't matter since my post doesn't require trust. It's a statement of fact - everyone complaining about this issue can do something about it and very few had done so at the time of my post. You're like that angry kid in that animation that keeps pounding the keyboard until their eyes fall out and they pass out... Most of those distrusts are just today.

I'm confused. Has tilde been removed from everyone's keyboards or do we just love a fresh smell of a troll on a Sunday afternoon? If it's the latter - carry on, but in case y'all are actually concerned about trust system issues then you can do something about it. Get a new keyboard/phone if you must.

We may never know. OP time to lock this thread.

Ah yes, let's bring the dead guy into the argument, real classy. But not a bad example of how no amount of escrow could fix account trading, I'll give you that. Yes Bruno was attempting a deceptive sale of his account. I locked it away while all you outraged incels were busy painting him red. Bring escrow into this and a DT account ends up in the hands of a scammer.
I might be an "incels" but Bruno still managed to scam from beyond the grave. (which brings me back to what I was saying earlier that the ones who peddle in accounts are ones who have given me DT distrust...)Real classy that.
Might be time to lock this thread?

Instead of replying off topic can you tell us on what trust and deals you added rohang to your trust list? Please give one example why rohang should be trusted and I'll never message on forum again.
Are you sure you know which alt you're using to make these idle threats that mean nothing from?

LFC_Bitcoin seems to have reconsidered their trust/distrust of rohang: (possibly as a counter to efialtis' distrust) No doubt the angst will start afresh.

Cautionary tales of users getting scammed by account sellers are a better way to ward off account sales. Maybe you're right. We can't know how many people refrained from purchasing an account because of bad odds. We only see the failed cases, not the prevented cases, which could indeed be much more. I appreciate you taking my concerns on board. There are already many cautionary tales in the scam accusation & reputation threads which can be used as examples & we can all track scammers where possible.

Buying accounts is technically not against the forum rules, but it's unethical and highly discouraged.
Account selling causes harm in the Forum either through scamming, or deception (or any one of a dozen other ways). There will be those who will tag these accounts and hopefully over time the sale of accounts (coupled with the need to accumulate merits) will dwindle as more high end accounts become unsalable. Any well known accounts that seem to have been sold or hacked (think "Bruno") will also get tagged so you're right, sales aren't "illegal", but they are heavily frowned upon. Given some well known accounts have fallen silent in recent months, I can't help but wonder if Theymos has told these users to choose between their alts and allowing just one voice to remain while the rest are silenced.

To be honest, this new reality is somewhat depressing. If this continues for a long time, we will see many associated problems such as increased levels of mental disorders / suicide, etc. The city in which I live is now the peak of the holiday season and there are practically no problems associated with the virus, but I'm afraid to imagine what awaits us again in the fall. I don't feel people staying at home or wearing masks for a few weeks/months is as depressing as you may think. If you look back to the last Global Pandemic (the so-called Spanish Flu) the world bounced back fairly quickly with less developed research. The Roaring twenties then occurred along with the introduction of leaded fuel in every car. The end of the Roaring Twenties gave way to the Great Depression which then gave us Fascism & WW II. I like to think we can steer clear of what happens after the roaring twenties - unless we bring back Flappers, Art Deco and Style that'd give you whiplash! Speakeasies... This is post 6,010

What ever happened to that proposed reality TV program that was promising to send a crew to Mars (one way) with the landing / viewing as pay per view?

It's a form of contract you are undertaking - "In consideration for posting in these sections of the forum, we will make payment at the following rates." The wording might differ from campaign to campaign, but in essence you are being paid to post (unedited I hasten to add). In theory you could also be contracted to allow editorial content, but then again that could almost be construed as farming alt accounts.

The problem here though is that not all of these sites can actually filter who visits their sites.
And as @Timelord said, most of the betting games are now being transported to mobiles which children nowadays have in their early ages, obviously they will be able to play that. The parents are the key and I agree that we might not need age limits when that happened, they would be able to take care of themselves.
We'll all probably end up with our own block chain where learning institutes/govt agencies/employers issue us some sort of digital token that's a combination of their credentials and our own which we then add to our (PGP style key ring) and then that (key ring) is written to our block-chain. We then use that block-chain (genesis block? etc) for identity/age verification such as at Casinos, Clubs, Restaurants, Pubs or Bars. (Creative Commons: share, modify and attribute author)

I can't recall which thread covers this, but does this link https://loyce.club/trust/selfscratchers/131361.html update, or was it a one off? I'd actually forgotten I had it bookmarked and just came across it again. The Trust list link is for week 18, so I'd say it hasn't been viewed for over a year.

China just recently launched it's second attempted mission to Mars. The Tianwen-1 mission should reach Mars in early 2021, after a 7-month journey. Their not alone, the UAE also launched a mission to mission to Mars, the EMM-HOPE. I haven't heard much about the Emirates' space program, but I've heard of the Chinese's a few times. So it got me thinking about if they're going to actually make it this time. And whether the UAE's ship will make it too. I'm not a gambler, so I'm only wondering out of curiosity. What do the odds maker's think? NASA just launched yet another probe on its way to Mars overnight, so it's now a three horse race. What would be interesting is if one or more of these rovers were set to land, survey then set out to rendezvous with each-other.
