I've never been able to claim CLAMS from old BTC addresses, is there a specific way to do it?

Synced the whole blockchain then pointed to a local BTC wallet.dat file but no luck (with the Windows and Mac Desktop Wallet).

Is there another way to claim CLAMS from old BTC addresses? Any guide anywhere?

Or is this now over and cannot claim anymore?

Check your address using Just-Dice or FreeBitcoins perhaps before dicking around with anything super technical?

The address had to be in use ON May 12, 2014 with BTC, DOGE or LTC over "dust".

I didn't know there was active CLAM bounties... Are these listed any place?

I'd be happy to have them added to Clamcoin.org if so.

In other news in regards to Clamcoin.org... the traffic is higher than it was even in the .01 BTC per Clamcoin days.

This is strange.  Why can't I quote posts from this thread?  Never had that problem before.  It says:

Quote
The post you are trying to quote either does not exist, was deleted, or is no longer viewable by you.

I have been here for years and have never had this problem.

Do you still see the thread you want to quote or is it gone?

This is a self modded thread and Creative (one of the two or three people who run the SuperCLAM account here.)

Why does this coin sync at 100 block/day or something silly like that? Is there a fix?

Ya, use Just-Dice.  Grin

I went back and dug up a bunch of clams from my old wallets.  Cool.

Question, there are these two web sites:

http://clamcoin.org/

http://clamclient.com/

Which one is the correct web site?

It is confusing.  I am worried one is a scam.

They all go to the same Github and that's probably what you'll want to mess with.

We created Clamcoin.org because I was worried about missing traffic for CLAM if we didn't use the "coin" brand that people are so used to.

Which one did you think was the scam? (Please please please say Clamclient Cheesy har har!)
How can I dig clams? Do I need a special computer or digging equipment?

You can dig clams by using a service or downloading the CLAM wallet.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=975860.msg10654223#msg10654223

Is it easy, have you done it before?

I own FreeBitcoins.com and in my opinion it is the easiest option for digging both single addresses and whole wallets at a time, but you'll only get 3.5 CLAMS per dig rather than the full 4.60545574  & it pays out in Bitcoin rather than needing to dick around with alt exchanges n such.

I have around 30 BTC ready to purchase fresh CLAM addresses.

Syncing a CLAM wallet can be a bit of a bitch... so I hear.

But really I have no clue, sorry!

We aren't distributing 100x keys atm.

I will update here and on our news on site with "100x key" news.

Hye doug. Im one of your member in jd. It was a very good experient in your site for awhile. But now i have some issue about the old jd clam adress that i use to claim on freebitcoin. Ive been using it for months now. And i will losing my refferals for that. I dont know how to change to the new one without losing my refferal. It more like a passive income to me now. Now i have no idea to solve this problem. Any suggestion would be nice.

Which address are you talking about in particular? I can ask Kef to update his records.

I believe your old affiliates if you used Just-Dice are auto transferred into your new JD address.

If you used a different address.  You'll need to login to your account and go under "My Owned Addresses".  You then need to sign your address to show proof of ownership & those payments will be forwarded.

Last I heard that was all updated and done.

Soon all JD stuff related to FreeBitcoins will be offsite as well to help prevent #CLAMSPAM on the blockchain.
3791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver causes another dump on: April 13, 2017, 03:38:37 PM
I think manipulating the public through "rigged" altcoins to develop a mindset that other things have higher value than what they have vs something that people have given their lifes over is a bit out of hand (propaganda wise).

I don't have anything against anyone though.
3792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: April 13, 2017, 03:30:55 PM
If coin is dead why is it still on margin on polo?

Let's not feed the troll.

This sounds very much like that BBmmmBB character! Looks like he escaped the mental asylum he was incarcerated in all this while AND he is off his meds too! Cheesy

^lol that's not him ;-D ==CLAMS is a good coin ...haha satoshi **

I would paraphrase his statement. Why keep an asset where dooglas owns 100% of the supply on margin while refusing to add REP, ETC STRAT and many other instruments with liquidity and volume. The deadishness of clam is as apparent as dooglas' stake is sizable. Despite he owns literally ALL clams theres no chance he will ever recover from a loss that he took when CLAM got dumped by a huge whale that is now manipulating cellulite coin.

 Roll Eyes
A: Dooglus does not own 100%.
B: Just-Dice.com doesn't have 100% of the CLAMS either.  At the time of this post JD has 53.97%,  at one point this was getting closer to 80%.  My goal has always been for JD to have 20-30% of the O/S and for the other chunks be divided between 6 other major separate services.

We've had some pretty strong growth and have been buying addresses pretty regularly at this point.

The site is still being worked on daily, so please excuse the construction!

We have had 38 manual digs (https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/digs/) and 6 successful whole wallet digs (https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/wallets/)

Just crossed over Clam.

You distributed some coins like this : So! We took the BTC, LTC, and DOGE blockchains, found every address with a balance above dust, and sent each and every one of them a little over 4.6 CLAMS. It isn’t perfect, but it includes everyone.

Since Doge has like 6000 x more coins than BTC isn't this distribution flawed?

The number of coins doesn't mater, it's the number of addresses that were in use.

What is the relation between just-dice and this website?

We use Clamcoin and that's our only relation.

We are to Just-dice, what Alpha Bay is to Coinbase.

I trust doog with all my life it all comes to that so I want to check out his new projects time to time but I know you as a person in the chat at just-dice only, is there like a doog support or something fort his website?

Dooglus is helping us provide a way to tip our JD users offchain.  This will prevent blockchain spam.

We will hopefully be partnering with every other site that accepts CLAM & stakes in order to prevent blockchain spam.

I do zero coding.  Kef is in charge of all of that.  Please do not trust either of us.

If you plan on selling one of your old addresses, be sure that it is empty and never use it again.  Don't just blindly believe me telling you we delete private keys, but Satoshi told users never delete their own privatekeys, so I wouldn't advice you destroying your copy.

Only relation I see is just-dice uses clam as well.

As stated above <3
3797  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Q: How easy is it to charge back Vanilla Gift Cards? on: April 12, 2017, 09:03:32 AM
Did you win or lose?

I actually won a couple chargeback cases. Shit was weird

I didn't dispute the chargebacks.  Last thing I want to be is a person who helps pwn some dumb 21 year old woman who is just trying to get a cheap car for her family.

I strongly believe that it was a scammer claiming to be a victim, but I couldn't prove it (within my price range) & if me not disputing actually helps someone... It's ok.

But how can you be stupid enough to fall for a fake Ebay scam, but smart enough to navigate fucking Incomms shit.  I'm sure stranger things have happened though.

Good site, hopefully can generate a lot of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, I like FreeBitcoins.com because the loading page is very fast and the payment is easy. Until now 3 times I got payment from FreeBitcoins.com faucet.

We for sure plan on adding Bitcoin to our faucet once I get the waters tested out.

I seriously doubt we add other altcoins, unless one just floors me or Dooglus makes a Just-Whatever.com and we will most likely support that.

I'm glad you've successfully used our faucet with ease, thank you!
3799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FreeBitcoins.com- Earn free Bitcoins and try out cryptocurrency faucet too! on: April 12, 2017, 07:37:45 AM
Do you have more free codes for the daily faucet ? Or how can I get one of these codes ? :/
I already send you a private message a few days ago, but i received no answer yet  Roll Eyes

Thanks in advance  Smiley

Responded.

We had to nuke all of our old payment codes the other day because JD reset their deposit addresses, sorry about the issue... just trying not to work dooglus into a early grave Tongue.
3800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: http://bustaclam.com/ CLAM version of Moneypot on: April 12, 2017, 07:13:52 AM
Bustaclam crashed the other day because their hot wallet staked a coin.

02:10:49 (43) <@xploited> hot wallet totally decided to stake and i was asleep
02:12:14 (43) <@xploited> well in this case because it all happened to be in one pile. I just moved some more over to take care of the withdrawals
02:13:00 (43) <@xploited> the hot wallet doesn't stake often so if hadn't been broken up yet. I let staking itself handle the spitting into piles

All is good now Smiley
