What you quoted is for the wait times between posts, but as for activity you can only get 14 activity points every fortnight. You wont be able to get another 14 until the 11th.

3786  Other / Meta / Re: How many high rank members are still active now? on: September 27, 2016, 02:54:10 PM
Also, who are the top members in terms of activity? theymos has activity of 2,422, is it the highest in the forum?

Yeah, theymos has the highest activity. For other stats theymos could collect them but probably isn't a priority.
3787  Other / Meta / Re: Rules of Self-Moderated Threads on: September 27, 2016, 08:35:26 AM
There are obviously pros and cons to self-modded threads. Obviously scammers and unscrupulous people will abuse them, but they're also useful for honest thread-starters who just want to keep trolls and shitposters out. I would prefer there be more options for self-moderated threads where the OP can either blacklist users from even posting there in the first place or bar entire usergroups from posting and this would cut out Staff having to be involved which is better for everyone. As an example, you could choose to block newbies to stop people from just creating a new account to continue trolling or if you wanted to create a giveaway thread but only allow it to Seniors or Heroes and above or whatever you could do that too.

There are also negatives to creating a self-modded thread though as many people either tend not to post in them or look upon them with suspicion, but I guess that's up to the OP to weigh up the pros and cons but if they're unhappy with the moderation here and want to do it themselves I think that should be their right to do so.

Does the admin even consider changing these prices? Lol. I don't even remember having 10BTC lol.

Why? Are you wanting to donate?

There's no excuse for copying posts and you're doing it on this account as well:

Every monetary investment is a gamble. Every time you trust someone you are taking a gamble. I would definitely gamble if I had 50 million dollars. I find it relieves stress. However, I'd probably gamble my money on supporting the pursuit of animal rights and technological singularity. But I would still play Poker, Dragon's Tale, EVE Online and Heroes of the Storm for fun. Like... Gambling is definitely stressful, but it's something repetitive and gratifying that I can do without drama from other people. Just me and random chance. That said - my betting limit would probably be $800 if I had 50 million dollars. Right now my betting limit is whatever I earn off of faucets. If I were to bet more than 0.0016% of my networth on something, it would either be for a good cause or for a positive EV (e.g. investments).

A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.

Edit: Maybe I wouldn't gamble. Because it's very hard to enforce my own limits, and even with my 2mbtc bet limit I ignored that and went and bet 22mbtc instead of withdrawing.

3792  Other / Meta / Re: Improvements Needed to Bitcoin Forum Ranking System on: September 21, 2016, 06:23:31 AM
You've made 20 posts here - you're hardly a prolific contributor and the ranking system takes into account both age of account and how active you have been (which in your case is not very). Most people don't need to spam to rank up their account but if you contributed more often you would naturally rank up your account over time and this is how it's meant to be. Your account is a potential Member so that's what you'll become if you put in the effort to make the required posts but people shouldn't be able to become a higher rank here just because they've been mining for quite some time.
