What about merging the "Open" and "Discussing" categories? If I visit the site, I'm interested in seeing all the currently-active questions. The old closed-off questions are not so interesting.

there is a "recent" category showing all questions js

A couple questions and comments...

1) Do you take a commission off the amount we send?
2) What if a question never gets answered do you get your funds back or can you transfer to another question you asked or will ask?

3) If you make an account there is no way to enter your bitcoin address so if you answer questions you can just keep using the same address with out keep typing it in.

+1 vBulletin so many sites use it and it is proven to be good under huge loads.

3795  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Ad space for my own forum on: May 27, 2012, 04:29:37 PM
Hi,
I'm looking to sell some ad space on my own forum (that was recently developed) so that I can fund further development that will add new features and make the experience better for my users.
More info can be found here:http://dreamislands.forumup.com/viewtopic.php?p=28&mforum=dreamislands#28

I'm looking for people who are intersted in buying ads space.I will make sure my price is more reasonable.
The link should explain everything, thank you. Smiley
P.S.If interested please PM me or if you want more info PM me also.

Just so you know you only have like 6 registered users securing ads would be difficult for a site like that. You should just bootstrap and start growing the user base then start start looking for ads.

3796  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I use the wallet app? on: May 27, 2012, 04:26:41 PM
If you're on Windows or Linux, but want a safe, but lighter alternative to the Bitcoin client (no blockchain download required!), you can also try out Electrum... I bet you'll like it! Smiley

I've also started to maintain a quick comparison chart for Bitcoin wallet clients for the desktop. Hopefully it will help you choose what's best for you. All the clients listed in the chart are open source and recommended by the official bitcoin.org website (at that page)

just one issue with your chart, the

Fast sync (<1min)
section, technically Multi-bit or Electrum don't have any sync. Electrum just queries it's server to get the lastest blockchain information and multi-bit just doesn't worry about blockchain before the address were created. So honestly that isn't syncing it more of how they handle the blockchains.

I love the bitcoin app, it is simple, and easy to use. Plus you can have complex features if need be, like sock4 proxy. I think you should use the bitcoin app, the first time start up and downloading all the blocks is a pain, but after that it is great! Plus your giving back to the bitcoin community using the bitcoin application allows you to be a node on the network and this helps with transactions and downloading blocks.
3798  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Auto Start script on: May 27, 2012, 08:08:04 AM
it shuts down cause your running SSH and when SSH gets terminated it shutdown all processes created by that user. Use can you use the command
Code:
screen
and it should keep the session running or look into
Code:
nohup
another command that does the same thing.
3799  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: <<Looking for trustworthy exceptional programmer>> for a BTC project. on: May 25, 2012, 10:00:26 PM

3800  Economy / Services / Re: [IRC] How many users are interested in ZNC ? on: May 25, 2012, 07:30:42 PM
How about 0.25 BTC / Month ?

That's about $1.27500 / Month

if you want my opinion, you should look into just hosting shells, that could make you 1btc a month js
