3781  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF by 2nd quarter of 2021? on: August 27, 2020, 02:16:11 PM
I wonder why this ETF discussions became alive again since or so many times we discuss it the price keep crashing once it didn't get an approval so provably it can create confusion and might newbie get panic for certain things regarding on this topic. And I don't want to talk about ETF anymore since its so nonsense to talk about almost impossible things for now
3782  Economy / Economics / Re: What Role Will Crypto Play During ‘The Great Reset?’ on: August 26, 2020, 10:52:37 PM
On my own opinion still nothing since its not been adopted by the government yet and so many people doesn't know or doesn't trust this since this is new to their knowledge. Maybe we can agree with it that it changes something once government agrees to pick it and they will start collecting tax on it and also certain regulation ruled to make the life of crypto users easier.
3783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC warns against crypto investment. on: August 26, 2020, 10:00:10 PM
Maybe because of this the adoption of crypto in the Philippines will be slow because we know once they have news like that came from the government people easily trust without having any research. I hope they fair about this because crypto is legit if they do more research and honestly it is good opportunity for the Filipinos people if they know the cryptocurrency.

Right now there are si many skeptical person in terms of cryptocurrency investment and I cannot blame them especially if they heard about bitcoin scams and other bad news coming from the media itself. Maybe for getting much good adoption and to at ease the fear of the people maybe the one we needed to educate first is the mainstream so that whenever there's a scam come they will be known that big coin is currency and their headlines will be corrected.
3784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin Maximalists are Promoting/Shilling an Altcoin on: August 26, 2020, 11:30:12 AM
why not if the project pays for a tweet from a Bitcoin maximalist,

Not good to see this kind of act since it means that you are ok to earn while other will face the consequences that they might get scam.

but I also think it would be dangerous for beginners to invest in a project that might one day be a scam because of seeing that tweet, one of which is John McAfee also often promotes the ICO project or other because it might be paid for by the project, so I think it doesn't matter to the tweet just the bad effect is that people who don't know and invest in the wrong project might be more dangerous

This is really becoming a John Mcafee 2.0 and we shouldn't trust easily by the words provided and I hope there's no newbie will look after them and believe on the word released. We must be careful since anyone could deceive us.
3785  Economy / Gambling / Re: New casino on: August 26, 2020, 10:11:10 AM
As soon as you see or feel the deception with the names, especially if the site is not in English, but, for example, in Russian and there is no English version or language selection option, then immediately run away.
These are phishing sites targeted at naive users. But it's true that 1 out of 500 players will try to use it, lose some of their money and then swear in this topic.
But I hope all attentive and knowledgeable people here.
Scammers probably don't even know English and they can't hire a translator to look acceptable Grin Grin Grin

That's a humourous review there but actually I feel the same way since its really hard to trust specially those nationalities which involves for so many scams around here(I don't generalize but mostly) so we better stay away since its really hard to get scam especially right now.
3786  Economy / Gambling / Re: Don't fall for that nitrogensports scammer at any cost! Check inside! on: August 25, 2020, 11:28:53 PM
I report to moderator everytime the idiot posts. Wish they'd hand out a more severe punishment then deleting the thread to morons looking to scam everyone.

I believe these people won't stop doing shit just to scam people for some bucks or their data or whatever their intention is, but the fact is, mods or even admins can't stop these assholes considering that when evil points are there, countable, these people won't hesitate paying some money buying copper membership and then come up with a new scam technique every time in future.

If there's an opportunity to attack the unfamiliar persons for this scheme for sure they will never stop those scammers are used to do this and I think they earn a living on this scheme so no wonde that they will continue to do this and became more tactical to get more victim. It's good to have this thread opened up since it makes people aware for this existing scheme.
3787  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bounce Back is coming? on: August 25, 2020, 10:16:21 PM
$11500 support holds this time, as we have somewhat bounce back to $11600 as of now. I don't expect any movement in the next 24 hours except maintain that levels. The next movement will come on Monday again, so I'm seeing $11,800 but not to quick to get back to $12k as this is the position where everyone is looking for a sell off and instant profit.

$11,500 is a strong support. As strong as that is the resistance at $12,000. So I am also looking at Bitcoin's short term movements within this range for the next hours and days. I know we have gone past the resistance at $12,000 at least three times but we are always short of leaving that mark for good. We keep on coming back to the $11,500 - $11,999 range. We will see in the next days which direction will Bitcoin move strongly.

how long do you think we'd stay in this price range, 2 weeks to a month? it looks like its going to keep testing the resistance over and over even when btc breakout that 12k last week.

Well, I cannot say for certain, but it is possible to happen for like 2 weeks. If Bitcoin's price cannot successfully break out from the $12,000 resistance after a few more attempts, it could happen that the price will even fall below $11,500.

It looks like there will be more attempts to happen in the next days. In fact, as of this moment it is probably going to try to break that resistance once more. We are again on the road to $12,000.

so it did. it successfully break the 12K resistance but still not enough to stay at such range. in the daily chart i believe it tried 3 times already to break the 12k wall. i hope it wil not continue to dive down to $10500 this time because of these failed attempts.

the bounce back failed and now we're left to get out of our trading position. if it was just in the futures, i'd probably lost all my funds already. its a good thing that OP is caught just copying his analysis, now we see both him and the one who he copied are just not worth following.  Grin

We don't know yet on how long we can stay stable at $11k+ but what good thing here when I open some several topics in this forum people still positive for price bounce back after the $12k price reached and dumped. Maybe we are not done yet by now since I'm positive that green days will continue until the end quarter of this year.
3788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 25, 2020, 11:07:22 AM
Good news again.

'PBA bubble' now being eyed either in Cubao, Clark, or Laguna

Quote
THE PBA is now seriously considering creating a 'bubble' just to get its long-stalled 2020 season underway.

PBA chairman Ricky Vargas on Tuesday made the announcement during the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) online Forum on the day teams resumed training for the first time since outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vargas, who is board governor of TnT KaTropa, said the league is now looking at possible bubble sites like the Smart-Araneta Coliseum in Cubao in Quezon City, Clark in Pampanga, and the Inspire Sports Academy in Laguna.

Good news indeed. NBA bubble is a great success and the PBA could emulate that one, after all there only 12 teams in the PBA, not much to control unlike in the NBA where there are 20 teams involve. So, if this will push though on October and they will have games every day then i think the timeline for JMF to return would not be enough but still a good thing as this season would be open to everybody, championship wise.

Excuse Junemar for now he needs to be rested for the rest of the season, its good for him so that he will not became a injury prone if they push him to get back this season. And for the current happening seems the situation is controllable also the numbers of team in PBA is not big as NBA so maybe its good to restart the series since for sure the officials learned some tactics from the NBA.

I'm really excited to see the games up running hopefully it will start soon.
3789  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: License to Sell Bitcoin in Person as Oppose To Online Exchange? on: August 25, 2020, 09:35:22 AM
So I heard a few stories a while back where ppl got in trouble and arrested and even sent to jail because they were selling bitcoin to other people without a license.  Can someone explain this?  So basically if you sell bitcoin in person to ppl for cash or any types of money payment whether its bank wire or cash in bank deposit... you need a license but only if you do a lot of transactions?  But if you sell btc to a few ppl several times a year only, you don't?  Example imagine a few times you sell a few thousand worth of btc to a few friends throughout the year... say you did it 5 times and it was for like 8k total.  That you don't?

But if you were just buying/selling btc on exchanges like coinbase, gemini, binance, bittrex, bitstamp etc... you don't?  Can someone explain this to me?  I never bought/sold btc in person... only done in the online exchange but I don't seem to understand the logic behind this.  What is the difference if you are buying/selling btc in person to people or to ppl online as oppose to doing it in an exchange if you are paying taxes on it?  Is there something im missing here?  I mean the only reason someone would buy/sell btc in lbc and sites like that is because they are paying less for btc at a discount or selling btc to someone at a premium price like a few percentage above market?

This happenings must be published if this is true but I don' think it really needed to have a license nor depends on the country where the said person belongs, maybe you should provid a supporting articles and place on which the incident happen so that people here can give there opinions which tackling the correct answer on the topic. But as I see it for now its just a hearsay since so far I never read a person got jailed for doing that stuff.

What a fucking scam their own roulette is omg 10 times in a row the same color😂Enjoy my 500$ fucking scammers. Wish you will need to spend it on medicines

I assume that you know that the game is luck based game so provably sometimes it will end up on that result, so if you can't take to lose better not to play and blame the site for your unlucky moments. This site runs for quite long years and I believe they will not put a shade for just 500$ only and the one I see here is your greed eats your money that's why you lose.

But if you have evidence for your claims post it here for us to verify.

3793  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Safe, Fast and Automatic Electronic Currency Exchange in www.Hi.Exchange on: August 23, 2020, 10:54:05 PM
just have curious to know why did you launched this exchange? Already many exchanges in market. Do you provide something different than other? Also design is very basic in compare to other exchange sites.

Business that's is the main reason here imagine how big the crypto market is and if he earn good response then possibly earn millions if this platform success. But as you say there's so many competition in the market and this exchangers business is so saturated and its up for them on how they market their business since the creative one will be notice and possibly can gain more users.
3794  Economy / Economics / Re: The number of jobless people has crossed one million in US - worrying sign? on: August 23, 2020, 01:40:28 PM
Many countries been affected by the pandemic but it doesn't mean that we will blame the  government about the situation, no one forsee it coming but we need to determine whether the government is truly doing ways to find effective solution to control the virus while maintaining the economy. What we can do is to follow and help now then just decide next election.

Unemployment may increase but sometimes it can be for their safety, some of those unemployed now might be in airlines company or services that needs too much crowd. There is a need to weigh between safety of the employees or money. The lesson here is every individual should be prepare next time to have emergency funds or other sources of income. In my country now many unemployed find ways to do small business based in their skills.

that is my point here. not only US is suffering from unemployment of its people but around the globe. i dont think it is fair that someone will blame their government about this unless, they are just sitting and not doing their job to alleviate the problem of its people. the aftermath of virus is still here and will be for long time. but it doesnt mean we will not do something about it and just rely on our govt. because thats a stupid move. we need to help ourselves even on our small ways that we know of. because blaming the Pres or the govt is not a solution to this crisis!

Actually those blaming the government in times of pandemic have a bad agenda on the administration, we experience that here since despite of the efforts given the critics didn't credit anything and they are just waiting to see a single mistake and used it for bad propagandas.

Lets get back to the US topic and I really think they wi suffer badly here and provably they will struggle to regain back by this year since even up till know we don't really know on when the vaccine will became available and this is the only hope waited by the governments around the globe so that we can resume our normal life without worrying about disease or anything.
3795  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 VipGame.io - 🃏 Unique Games ⭐ Low House Edge 💲 Multi payment options on: August 23, 2020, 12:46:07 PM
I believe you need to wager much in order to win the race and how many people can afford it.

There are alot of people that actually can afford it but alot of people dont really follow this kind of stuff

Someone has been constantly betting 100 doge at 1.02 multiplier with autobet which probably is for the daily race, thats a sign that it is actually profitable or either it could be EV+ to wager like this for the race. This player probably not gonna win the 1st spot but atleast with 5 places paid with minimum of $50 prize, thiere is a good chance that he might win something therefore he wager with strat like this

That is a risk free wagering because he will not be able to won big amounts with 1.02 multipliers, but will only increase his wagering amount for the contest.
Do you think this is the right way to enter in the contest or these people are just exploiting this loop hole in wagering contest ?

It is not a risk free wagering even if you bet with the lowest possible multiplier, there is still a chance to lose your bets.
You may say it is a safe way of wagering but if you do not continuously, you may end up with a big lose as you need many win bets to recover a single lose bet.
It is just a strategy to wager as much as possible, other users may use different strategy. I can say there is no loop hole in this kind of contest.

Provably the one he mean by that is to set 1. 02 multiplier and when winning streak occur he will secured the profit gotten and leave the game. But for me I don't think this strategy will work for long period of time since as you said there's still a risk since we might gonna caught up on huge lose and its hard for us to recover since we will only get a low amount and might we will end up chasing our losses for that situations.
3796  Economy / Gambling / Re: WBet7.com - Sport bet accept ETH, ETC, BTC, BCH, DOGE, LTC, DASH, VTC, PM... on: August 23, 2020, 10:53:33 AM
...you made a complain at their hosting provider and they believed you. Then they closed wbet7 site until they pay you.

How old are you?

The hosting provider really does not care about this, as this is not in their agreement. Probably wbet7 closed the site by herself, or some technical problems.
Or they scammed to any people and they do not have any customers anymore. Has to be said, their site looked awfull.

The site is up and running. There may be a temporarily problem with the site. However, they can bring down the site and exit any time. No host provider will bring the site down on the basis of scamming because they are paid to host the site and are not responsible what is actually been done on the website.

Perhaps, there is really have insurance problem on that website, In practical reason, we should also be sure to give a little more time because there's is no perfect person when it comes to a particular transaction.

If there's something wrong atleast they should give an update to the people here since its very alarming to see those pending withdrawals. Their silence makes people speculate about how things going on them so they should came out and post some statement to ease the worries of the affected persons.

wbet7pending last active: August 20, 2020. It is 3 days ago.
I wonder if this issue already solved or something bad already happened.

I also wonder on what happen on his issues since its bit alarming to see this kind of post.

Topic format updated

And a real warning to wbet7 people if they are seeing it. I'm.not joking I'll prove it soon with a live video of my suicide with wbet7 being blamed in the video

So if I don't get it soon. I might be committing suicide and if I do I will surely post a live video of myself suiciding and will keep a note of Wbet7 in my suicide video for police to get them behind bars

3797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Security in Crypto Matters? on: August 21, 2020, 10:57:46 PM
I may be old school, but I don't trust these centralized wallets and exchanges because they might be hacked easily. It may happen sometimes to keep a low amount of crypto on a centralized exchange but in general, I keep my funds only on non-custodial wallets. All these custodial wallets need to run some Penetration Testing at least once in a while to evaluate their system's security. I know a lot of people who lost their funds because they kept them on their exchange account, so to learn from their mistakes and totally avoid that.
Yes, it is very risky to trust virtual wallet more. It can be hack easily if we don't care about it. Security in crypto is very important as we store our crypto currency here. If we don't concern about security, we may lose our money easily.

Many doesn't really trust any like that even if how trusted they are and how many years the wallet exist since there are so many incident that some of them get hack and compromised for unfortunate events so maybe best to reach some good HD wallets as well if we can't afford to have it the best solution to withdraw always our funds to make it safe for unwanted attacks.
3798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sports do you think that can resume amid Covid-19 scare. on: August 21, 2020, 10:13:52 PM
After over 5 months we have set up a protocol on how to avoid this pandemic and because of this protocol any business and industries and sports events can go back as long as they can follow the protocol laid out by the experts of course it only applies to sports participants but not audiences or viewers.
The other sporting events can imitate what the NBA did.

They have live web cast audiences who are being shown on the monitor substituting the usual audience that they have. It's a good alternative for the other sports if they want to make their games lively and still have the presence of their audiences and fans.

It's a temporary solution until everything goes back in normal.

The temporary solution is somehow quite effective since if we look at the NBA right now they manage to resume the games with in line in safety and health protocols of the government. And I think the other sports like soccer or other contact sports will follow this since they can actually do the same if they have stricter regulation on new normal formats.
3799  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time when the stock market crashes, Bitcoin will go to moon! on: August 21, 2020, 01:51:31 PM
No way. Bitcoin will be back under $10k soon enough whether stocks crash or not. There is no way this market can sustain prices above $10k for anything but momentary bouts of speculative euphoria. Eventually the price will be back under $10k for good.

It may fall back or not that we need to see as the time passes, but again bitcoin has that bounce back ability and will be back again above 10k levels. Only thing the time factor is what needs to be considered as now it seems it is trying to move above 12k but not finding much resistance at those levels. Maye climb till 13k as well once we have some support passing at 12k .

This scenario is not surprising at all since we already so many of this, there are so many times that we see some major upset and people got panic but we should remember that after a dump the huge pump will follow and for sure weak hands are crying since some of them sell their balances even if they are at loss and those knowledgeable are earning huge bucks today.
3800  Economy / Economics / Re: Our country was called Province of China. on: August 21, 2020, 10:31:09 AM
It could be just one small mistake on factory, i dont think that this really means something important

This is not a simple mistake in their factory. Many events like this already happening before like the posting banners of "Welcome to the Philippines, Province of China around Metro-Manila". Sadly our government treats this as a simple mistake and not a big deal. Big kudos to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno for what he did already in their establishment.

I cannot call that a simple mistake since it's provoking to the people who are so sensitive with the issue, but we don't know the real story behind that since maybe there's someone sabotage the situation since we know how big the the issue and scope if it will came to china. But for sure the government is watching the situation and we know how smart the current administration handle things especially on bilateral relation.
