381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Big Successful ICO Coins Price are sinking? on: December 14, 2018, 02:56:54 AM
In my opinion, the ICO project that managed to raise a lot of funds from investors for now is difficult to see prices approaching ICO prices, I once asked the ICO project CEO who got large funds from ICO, he said that they were following the current poor market capacity, so Their project prices fall and are very cheap when in the exchange market. That is because the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum has decreased in price, and it has an impact on the ICO project.
An ico that gets a huge amount of funds is very unlikely to go up in price, because in order to make huge profits that ico will need go up in price in a significant way and with the market as weak as it is now that is going to be impossible, so you only have two choices keep buying icos and be even more patient and see if that gives you profits or simply invest in other coins that are more likely to give you profits.
382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Need To Put Your Emotion in Trading ? on: December 14, 2018, 02:35:52 AM
Sometimes it's very difficult to put aside your emotions when trading. But in the real sense, applying emotions in trading is the easiest way for one to lose everything. Emotions will always push you to want gain more and in that process, you will find yourself losing everything profit you have worked for. Don't apply emotions when trading.
Without a doubt it is very difficult to leave your emotions behind when you are a trader but it's something that must be done, there are so many examples of people trading with their emotions and then losing all their money by doing it that there are many books that make some of their first lessons to try to make you to control your emotions, that should show you how important it is.
I have encountered many problems when trading and the main reason is my feelings. Most of the time, when we trade we are always in a bad situation because the market is in a downturn which makes it difficult for us to concentrate. I think emotional control is impossible at this point and we should do it again when the market enters the uptrend.
That is something I have noticed as well, my biggest mistakes have happened when I had let my emotions take control of myself and the most difficult part to accept is that deep down I know what it is happening and yet I am unable to stop myself from doing all the wrong moves that I know are going to cost me money, that is how powerful those emotions can be and why it is important to dominate them.
383  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it? on: December 14, 2018, 02:05:27 AM
With that ammount monthly I will settle for trading.  Learn it well and know when to buy the dip and sell the pump. I will also short Bitcoin,  trade it and make mote profit

First of all 1000$ per month is a quite lot of money and one should not risk all of it in trading. I would suggest to keep 50% in bitcoin and trade with the remaining 500$ with altcoins.
If he is ready to trade that amount of money then we need to respect his decision, 1000 dollars may seem like a lot of money but when it comes to trading that is not really that much money especially since the earnings that you are going to get are small, most of the time below 5% so you could trade for many days and at most get a profit of 50 dollars.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding BTC at this satge is a bad idea? on: December 14, 2018, 01:31:38 AM
BTC is showing weakness and loosing ground day by day I think it is the time for the investors to book profit who are on profit and minimize losses who already suffered a big loss. Can anybody enlighten me on this issue now?
And how you are going to minimize your losses when the price is already close to the bottom? If you wanted to try that strategy you should had done that when the price was at 6000 at the latest, but now when the price is at 3300 it seems too late since it does not seem possible for me that the price goes any lower, but if you think otherwise maybe you could be right and selling your coins could be the right thing for you to do.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am just Dumping all my altcoins! on: December 13, 2018, 03:47:50 AM
Well I have no more patience in holding it so I decided to dump all the altcoins listed in an exchange in a low price. I have been accepting already that I loss already in investing those altcoins. Because we are now in the peak season of the year 2018 and cryptocurrency market seem nothing to have gone good and I have also some needs to meet for the holidays so I sold all the altcoins. I will just check later on if cryptocurrency will going to be back at its normal market.
I just hope that you do not regret your decision, there are many stories of people that invested in the right project and they missed huge profits just because they were not patient enough to hold their coins for long enough to see those profits, anyway I wish you luck and I hope that you enjoy your money during the holidays, at least that will take your mind away from the markets that have been so bad to us lately.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will the bull run return this December? on: December 13, 2018, 03:41:54 AM
The market seems to have given already its answer to that, we are already very close to the middle of December and no bull run is in sight, people need to accept the reality, the price of bitcoin will not improve in this year and they need to find other ways to be profitable besides waiting for the bull market if they want to obtain profits during the next year.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don`t care about the market. I will HODL to USE! on: December 13, 2018, 03:37:14 AM
All my savings are currently in BTC and all I can safe in future will go into BTC as well.

I will NEVER return my money into a bank. I have no any intention to ask 3 to 5 days before a large cash-out, to pay taxes when I do receive MY money into "my" bank account, to pay taxes to STORE MY money in "my" bank account, to pay taxes to use their terrible internet banking to operate with MY money, to pay additional taxes for various transactions, to pay ridiculous fees for every paypal transaction and/or withdrawal, to wait a week for approval on a large transactions..

I have no any intention to get surprised one day with a bank account locked without notice; with transaction blocked by some reason, with funds frozen because some someone decided the origin is "unclear"..

NEVER AGAIN!

I do not care if the price of BTC goes to $1 or ¢1, it`s enough if I will be able to operate with it for every single purchase and for all of my needs. Untill that day comes I will never return MY money into a bank! If all I have become to a value of ¢1, it`s fine! I will have MY ¢1 FOR REAL, instead of unclear value is someone else`s bank system, created in order fiat owners to make more fiat only because they already have fiat.
That is a really strong determination that you have there, and you know what it is the most interesting thing about it? That even if you do not care at all about the fiat value of your bitcoin holdings since you will hold your coins no matter what, you are the most likely to receive the most benefits once the market recovers since people like you do not get influenced by FUD like most members here.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This bloodbath shows that more than 95% altcoin holders were just speculators on: December 13, 2018, 03:27:29 AM
For me speculators are the people that has a big contribution to crypto because they are the risk takers, they trust crypto and they trust their holdings than maybe one day it will worth a million.
Speculators are only putting their money in a coin for a very short time frame so they do not have a big impact in the market, the biggest impact is the one they make for themselves and unfortunately for most of them the market is punishing them since they are the ones that are losing the most money by investing in icos and in projects that were not worth anything and now they are suffering huge losses because of that.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Decline until the end of the year? on: December 13, 2018, 03:14:42 AM
I think there is no other way, except waiting. If you are able to bear huge loss then you can sell all your crypto currencies at lowest price. I am waiting from last 8 months and will be waiting for 8 months more. I am continuously monitoring market, it is moving towards stabilization.  Hope it will recover.
There is no point in selling now, everyone that is thinking about that should forget about it because doing it now will mean that you will never see the money that you invested in the market again so the only choices we have are to trade or to hold our coins but trading when the market is moving the way it does will give you even more losses.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all honesty, who still wants bitcoin to die? on: December 11, 2018, 06:25:38 PM
those who want bitcoin to die are people who feel their interests are threatened because of the existence of bitcoin but I don't say its name, I myself believe bitcoin will not die and bitcoin will still be the leader in the cryptocurrency market.
And it is very interesting that those that feel threatened because of the existence of bitcoin are the ones that are causing the most damage to the economy by manipulating the markets as they want, so they are not really worried about the damage that bitcoin could cause to the economy they are worried about the control that they could lose and about the easy profits that will be unavailable to them if bitcoin succeeds.
391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It’s very easy to trade Bitcoin on: December 11, 2018, 06:19:45 PM
I would say that  trading  is  not  easy it's simple   Wink  for me  if  you have these  technical  analysis  and fundamentals it  would  simple  to trade and  it is also
important  that you don't  trade  by emotions  so  that  it  would be  easy make profit  in trading.
May trading isn't profitable at this time, as we observe mostly all coins are in declining and you'll be losing if you trade right now. May the best time to buy but not for selling it.
May trading is so simple during bull run but not for today.
It is precisely at times like the one we are seeing where the good traders distinguish themselves from the bad traders, when the market is going up it is very easy to make money and to think that you are a very good trader but the truth is that the market is doing all the work for you, but when the market is going down that is when you see the good traders because they make money even in these market conditions.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: You cannot eat your cake and have it on: December 11, 2018, 06:00:14 PM
There is a popular saying that invest only what you can afford to loose. Some people are making the mistake of investing all their life savings into crypto and other ventures. Some people even went as far as borrowing money or even using their properties as collaterals to borrow money so as to invest into crypto. This is a wrong idea and it might cost you a lot.
Every investment has its risks. So consider the the risk involved by taking each step at a time and do not jump in once.
There is no doubt in my mind that those that did that are now regretting what they did, but they have no one else to blame but themselves for taking those decisions that everyone warned them them to be bad ideas and it is very likely that now they are desperate thanks to the amount of money that they're losing, I wish them well but it is likely they will lose everything they invested.
393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or other business what do you choose? on: December 05, 2018, 11:34:34 PM
In the current digital era, many people are starting to trading Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency because they think Bitcoin trading is profitable from other businesses. Some people again say that business is more profitable than Bitcoin trading.
While the idea of a business is very tempting I do not have any idea of how to manage a business so I will probably fail, but when it comes to trading even if I am not the best I have enough knowledge to try my luck at trading, which is precisely what I'm doing right now but as you may guess I'm not really making money because the market is not really cooperating with anyone.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy Altcoins on this time ??? on: December 05, 2018, 11:29:13 PM
This is a really good moment. You can see that the current market conditions are a lot of altcoins that are falling so you should be able to take advantage of the altcoin fall moment to buy it because moments like this are a good moment to buy and stock altcoins.
A few days ago, many people also said that this is a good time to buy when the price of altcoin is almost very cheap and if we take advantage of this, we will have a lot of profit in the coming time, and now, profits have not come out yet, and they just cried when they looked directly at the market, every day is a new bottom, if we think we are smart and can make a profit in this moment, it is really a mistake. This is not an ideal time to buy and sell, we should only look and wait for the market to show upward trend, if it does not show this trend, not participating will be the best way to avoid falling into unnecessary losses
You cannot really blame them, many people thought that the prices that we were seeing were very good and they decided to try to take advantage of those prices, when you are a trader sometimes your attempts to make money out of the market are going to work and sometimes are not going to work, this was just a mistake that anyone could have made, what you need to do is to move on and try to find new opportunities.
395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your predictions for 2019 on: December 05, 2018, 11:21:49 PM
It is not easy to know what will happen in 2019 especially when this year has been so bad, there is a very real possibility that the next year is not going to be that much different and that is going to scare a lot people away from this market regardless of any advancement in technology of cryptocurrencies, this can be good or bad depending on your perspective, it can be good if you have money to buy cryptocurrencies but if you don't then it is going to be a difficult year.

It's panning out a lot like 2014. Not the exact same shape, but similar slow and prolonged decline. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see a capitulation like January 2015 followed by a year of sideways where everyone forgets about Bitcoin.

I think 2019 will be a quiet year, and 2020 is when the market will start getting hyped again.
That is more or less what I think it will happen, so it is nice to find another like minded individual, like everyone else I will prefer to get a faster recovery but I'm completely ready to hold my coins for years if necessary so I can see my target price, some may think that my strategy is very risky but the small amount of money that I invested in bitcoin is something that I can afford to lose.
396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would Bitcoin become irrelevant or remain the King? on: December 05, 2018, 11:15:06 PM
So I am a big bitcoin enthusiast, but I realize it has problems. Also more and more people are trying to perfect their algorithms.
What if they reach their goals and bitcoin becomes irrelevant?
The price drop isn't showing that great either!
Those are not the only options, there is a third option in which bitcoin is no longer the leading coin in the market but it is still relevant, however I find that option to be very unlikely and the same is true for the option that you give in which bitcoin becomes irrelevant, bitcoin created this market out of nowhere and only a coin that is many times superior to it could take away its place and I do not see any coin like that.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ONLY A FEW PEOPLE WITH THE MOST BITCOIN CONTROL THE MARKET on: December 05, 2018, 11:07:07 PM
I believe the crypto market, is heavily manipulated, I'm of the opinion that only a few very powerful people or government, now HODL the most Bitcoin, And are responsible for where the price goes and as a result the entire market is under choas. Is this even possible? I think it is, what's your own opinion?
I do not agree with your assessment, it is true that those that are holding many bitcoins are very powerful and can move the market but that is true in any market as well, besides most of those that have the most bitcoin are not really doing anything with it except buying more of it, so if anything the effect of those whales is positive for the development and the price of bitcoin.
398  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: December 04, 2018, 09:34:12 PM
All we had left form the boom is ten thousand dollars, so I invested 6k in the arbitraging robot that gives out around 40 USD  day depending on the percentages, which is enough to keep us afloat right now and the rest I day trade a little with my wife. These are very hard times now and you really need to do your own research in this game to play it properly. We have made so many mistakes in not selling coins early enough or selling too early not getting the big profits that I am the last person to give advice.
It seems that you are still getting profits despite the bad conditions in which the market is immersed in, which is a lot better than what many people can say about how they are performing in the market, so if I were you I will not be worried at all because when the market begins to recover you are surely going to make a lot of profits thanks to your high level of skill.
399  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it? on: December 04, 2018, 09:30:00 PM
If you just want to keep investing on the cryptos every month without cashing out in the near future then it will be the bitcoin for your preference or you can invest on the altcoins and do short term trading with it to make your profits in small intervals but it needs your effort also.
Honestly, for long term hold, bitcoin seems to be the thing. Sure, a lot of people may say there is a need to diversify, but as things are going right now, I still find it pretty hard to find altcoins to be diversifying into until I basically start seeing something substantial in them when it comes to the usage of their product if they have one at all.

Certainly, at this stage, the market is highly speculative and there is no doubt about that, but when it comes to having your mind at rest, even if you want to invest in altcoins, you should be putting more percentage into bitcoin and lesser percentage into altcoins you have basically studied to know there is a chance for possible future.
This is the same opinion that I have, diversifying your investments is something that investors try to do to reduce their exposure to risk, but the volatility of altcoins is greater than the volatility of bitcoin and when we take into account that many of those coins turn out to be scams then we need to question ourselves if it is really worth it to try to diversify our investments.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Big Successful ICO Coins Price are sinking? on: December 04, 2018, 09:27:39 PM
What's going on with big successful ICO projects? Big Successful Projects like Pumapay, HDAC, Cryptosolartech, Bankex. Look at their coin price, every coin price is like nothing and their trading volume is too low! Pumapay raised 117 Million USD, but their trading volume less than 2 Million USD and coin price are just ridiculous. HDAC, Such a promising Project it was, but HDAC ico investors are lost their investment, ICO price was 1.25 USD per HDAC Coin and now it's trading with 0.037 USD! Seriously? And the same thing happened with Bankex, Cryptosolartech. But Why? What is the reason behind it?
You already know the answer to that but you do not want to admit it, the market is not giving profits to almost anyone, even if those projects were any good the circumstances in the market are terrible and almost no coin is going up after it enters the market, the only thing that you can do if you are invested in those projects is to wait for the market to recover.
