I like the new rules it separates the wheat from the chaff. Before people would just join the airdrop for the free coins. Now anyone joining the airdrop at this point must believe in DeepOnion!
The new rules keeps the HODLers in mind and I prefer it this way. The removal of the 90% rule is also a great addition for others who wants to trade their Onions. The more you have, the bigger piece of the pie you get. The idea is to eliminate for good the scammers/cheats/multi-accounts/farmed accounts. This was the best solution to do so. It encourages holding, contributing, and building the community. In the long term, this is a good move for the future, and will only make us stronger for it. Investors can confidently invest in this coin knowing we are doing all we can to eliminate the cheats. |

I saw some fudders come back. While we encourage people to ask healthy questions, the questions should be asked in a positive way. Any messages negative or attack to this coin and community will be removed, and those who fud will be banned from airdrop. This has been our rule from the very beginning, and will be continuously valid for the future, with no exceptions.
And as a rule, please do not quote fud messages.

NO COINS ARE LOST. Everyone will be PAID as usual we are moving host so database is down. We are debating weather to move the OLD DB or start fresh for new month. All the payouts will manually once the block mature.

After what happened to Novaexchange, now we know that being listed on only one exchange is dangerous for a coin. I hope the devs and mods will soon list Deep Onion on other exchanges aside from Cryptopia.
As I understand, more are in the works. Some of the bigger exchanges, especially like Bittrex have been much slower to add new coins with the fear of Gov. crackdowns on "securities". So it requires more work and money to get listed. It's tough to burn the candles at both ends, but the devs/mods always respond to the challenges laid before them. We have the ball rolling for at least 1 more, probably 2. We will not be in this situation again. While we quickly resolved it, it served as a notice as well. |

Hello Kanahide. Yes, you can join the Airdrop. You will need to have a DeepOnion wallet (not an exchange wallet) and register the address of your DO wallet on deeponion.org. Do not use a Cryptopia address for your airdrop address. It will vary, depending on how many participants. If you check the official forum, you might get a better understanding on the math equations being used. |

Will just drop by to express my gratitude for the listing of deeponion in a new exchange. This will surely put a stop to the dump we have experienced few days ago. And upon looking on coinmarketcap this morning i am very pleased that deeponion is now slowly bouncing back to its previous price.

Sadly, a number of people freaked out when they got the email from Nova. Personally, I think Nova did no coin using them as an exchange any good yesterday. People freaked, sold - Other people seen this, freaked, and sold - Rinse and repeat and you have what we had here yesterday. I feel bad for them, some people liquidated for a low price, the other side of me can't feel too bad, because they definitely didn't help the situation. That all said, we should be on Cryptopia soon and this has def. helped the value rebound quickly enough. |

I know its not a good practice but I literally just wanted to say this  To anyone who dumped Onions in panic.. suck on it No but in all seriousness, truss the devs. They will find a way to sort out all the problems when its needed the most. May be it was for good that Nova got closed and thats why we are getting onto cryptopia for half of the price ! So now we can use the funds to get on to 1 or 2 more exchanges and make the one problem that we had go away forever Cheers to all of the members who stuck with the project ! Kudos to devs ! Huge congratulations to the Development/Moderation team, Not only have they got us listed on one exchange in the space of 24 hours, they have got us listed on TWO! This is a great feat, and shows the ease that we can join exchanges with the HUGE support that we have for this coin Can't wait to grab me some more onions! Crypotopia is a good exchange. It has much more volumes than Nova. If we can list in crypotopia, it would be better than before. Even with 50% OFF, 2.5 BTC is still a lot of money, i dislike this bullsh1t of paying a fee to make them money. But it is what it is.. i believe dev team have 2.5 btc to have deeponion listed on cryptopia. however, the dev team also have the option to raise 2.5 btc from the community by offering onions at lower price. having deeponion listed on another exchage will benefit the project in the long term. also, we have the option to find other exchange which have a lower listing fee. We do not want to sell Onions and hurt the price further. We're exploring all options at the moment, but we do not feel that selling onions is the route to take. |

I wouldn't get too up in a panic. I posted a thread early this AM, before my flight. Fact is, we're months away from any form of "closure" (its actually new rules/management), and I assure you that we'll have a new exchange in place long before then. With that being said, my advice would be to take advantage of this. People don't read, make them pay for it |
