381  Economy / Economics / Re: What limits the market cap of bitcoin? on: October 03, 2017, 05:21:07 PM
The only limiting factor is adoption of the currency, the supply will eventually be fixed and thus the only way market cap can increase is with an increase in demand which in theory is unlimited.
382  Economy / Economics / Re: China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad? on: October 03, 2017, 05:19:24 PM
Banning bitcoin exchanges in any country would obviously be bad because it limits the demand for bitcoin and that would mean that the price would go down, unless of course you shorted bitcoin in which case, kudos to you.
383  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: October 02, 2017, 06:04:04 PM
You need to learn to break down your thoughts and identify where the negativity and broken thought processes are. Then learn to control your process and talk back to negative thoughts.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin have what it takes to become a trillion dollar industry? on: October 02, 2017, 05:49:50 PM
It depends if you mean simply the industry or the market cap of bitcoin. The industry could be more than just the market cap, for example businesses who make money via bitcoin.
385  Other / Off-topic / Re: BLVCK Book | Anonymous Facebook & Social Media Network on: October 02, 2017, 05:47:49 PM
Can you explain to me why I would want social media to be anonymous? Surely that removes pretty much the whole point of it?
386  Economy / Economics / Re: CHINA will halts all Bitcoins exchange.... on: October 02, 2017, 03:27:21 PM
China did not halt all bitcoin exchanges, a couple shut down because they were not properly regulated and others have been given more time to meet certain criteria. ICOs were banned but exchanges were not.
387  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people kill for religion? on: September 29, 2017, 10:37:53 PM
People have been killing each other for thousands of years, if it's not for religion then it will be for something else, I think the human race naturally has a divisive element.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock market vs. Bitcoin??? on: September 29, 2017, 10:28:44 PM
I have dabbled in both and I can tell you that crypto is far more profitable but the stock market is far safer, your mistakes there will not be nearly as costly.
389  Economy / Economics / Re: IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY OF A PRICE REDUCTION FOR FUTURE BITCOIN on: September 27, 2017, 03:24:45 PM
Of course it is possible and also quite likely if there is a major shock to the market, eventually BTC will have an ATH that is never reached again.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: September 27, 2017, 02:07:00 PM
I think in this generation definitely no, in the future perhaps. However there are facilities banks offer other than processing transactions which are valued, such as lending, these would need to be replaced somehow by the crypto markets.

392  Other / Meta / Posting restrictions on: September 26, 2017, 07:21:12 PM
Hello, sometimes when posting I get a message saying I can't post for 360 seconds more and that this restriction will be reduced significantly as my account gets older. I presume this is to combat spam from newer accounts? Could someone give me any further details as to when these restrictions are lessened?
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: please criticize my portfolio .. on: September 26, 2017, 07:05:14 PM
That is a really nice and well rounded portfolio. It would be good if you could give us a breakdown of your holdings, but presuming they are weighted somewhat reasonably then I can't find much to criticise.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Kyber Network on: September 26, 2017, 01:32:04 PM
As much as people are saying Kyber is purely hype, there is hype for a reason. There is a space for their idea and they have a very good team supporting it. It will be interesting to see how the price reacts to a major exchange listing (I think this is inevitable) and I would be very surprised if this coin doesn't reach 10x ICO price by Q1 2018.
