381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Investment for 1 year on: July 21, 2018, 11:54:57 PM
I think nano, eos, cardano and ltc are potential coins to give you a higher profit in a year if you do not fear/ panic and sell on the way as there will be a lot of downfalls on their way which may deter you from keeping the little of those coins you already have.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: July 21, 2018, 11:08:56 PM
I have already joined hundreds of airdrops but I got nothing until now. I will never join AirDrop programs any more.
- Each airdrop rewards only some token, that its value from $5 to $20 (calculated by the ICO price)
- Most of the token are dead now (just spammed projects or shit coins)
- Some tokens have been listed on Coinmarketcap now but the token price is terrible low. The value even equal to the transaction fee if I send the tokens to exchanges.
One thing that you must know is that airdrops are not made for the participant's benefit. It is a bait for catching big whales in the crypto space. when you fill up airdrop forms, you are required to join their social accounts which increases their number thereby getting a larger community of support which is a factor most investor consider before investing in a project
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: July 20, 2018, 11:42:33 PM
Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"
Really funny question. If it's the next ethereum, then it means that ethereum is a super coin that is used to compare other coins and does not mean that it won't survive. Take it from me that there is no way waves can compete with ethereum even in terms of market capitalization.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO investment still worth it? on: July 20, 2018, 11:16:56 PM
I will say it's still worth it when one invests in ICO but the fact is that it all depends on the time that one gets in. Looking at the current situations in the crypto space, I think private and presale investors always get their good returns. it is only those who buy at 0% rate or lower rates that cry after the ICO due to bounty hunters' dumping.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin? ✅ on: July 20, 2018, 10:15:19 PM
I think that Bitcoin has  a strong secure system so  I hope  it's very hard to hack BTC but hackers always can find weak places in people's wallets. So people should be very careful with their private keys and other information

When you talk of hacking, any coin at all has the risk of  being hacked not even our bitcoin. It depends on the platform on which they are saved. For best storage, I suggest using a hardware wallet like the bitcoincore and the latest can always be downloaded on bitcointalk here.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: July 19, 2018, 11:33:11 PM
I think as time goes on, there will a period when banks will not have no option than to accept BTC or in general, crypto deposits. A typical incident is what MasterCard is adopting atm. They are allowing both cash are crypto deposit and to be used to make payments in online markets.

387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Frustrates You Most When Using Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2018, 07:06:40 PM
What frustrate me a lot is when I am asked to submit documents on some exchanges or point of withdrawal before I am allowed to withdraw my coins in fiat. Crypto/bitcoin is anonymous so there shouldn't be all these things.
388  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price < $3000 soon on: July 15, 2018, 01:39:42 PM
The situation in the market is not the best, but the price of BTC does not fall any more.  And I very much doubt that in the next couple of years the price will drop to $ 3000.
yeah, I support you mate. BTC price will not fall below $5000usd. One thing I also realized is that it may be very difficult for BTC price to pass last year's price due to profit takers. Many people were fooled by the market last year for hodling their coins. I think that this year, people are not going to wait for higher prices before selling off their little profits. This will hinder the price from going higher as every little upward movement will bring the price back lower.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and 2018 on: July 15, 2018, 01:31:39 AM
I think most people are forgetting about what is happening behind the scenes.        With the potential for regular folks to add BTC  to their portfolio like any other stock,  we could see a huge gain in marketcap.

Right now crypto suffers from a barrier to entry.   Unless you REALLY want to get into it,  you aren't going to spend the time and effort to figure out how to buy it, exchange it,  store it..etc.

As investing in crypto becomes more user friendly,  it will hit a multi trillion market cap
That is true, mate. As investment platforms are made more user friendly and making it available for everyone to buy/sell on those platforms, more people will engage into crypto with their money. I see the problem with crypto at the moment is that newbies fear to give it a start as it is too technical to start unless guided by an experienced mate in crypto.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance on: July 14, 2018, 11:34:08 PM
Even if bitcoin will pump again, I am sure some of the altcoin like ethereum will maintain its cost.
Why will a coin with most usage in the crypto space remain its price when some coins without a real life usage are increasing in price? Maybe that is what you think but I can assure you that it will never happen that way.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any other crypto replace bitcoin? on: July 13, 2018, 10:55:13 PM
There is a possibility of that happening but I personally do not want it happen that way. Bitcoin leads crypto and when it is overtaken, crypto will also face a little consequence.
The current issue on some group of mining having more than 53% hashpower is what is on board now which experts say it will cause a lot of problems for btc. Maybe people will start to run away from btc with good intention and not from crypto and in that way, btc will be replaced peacefully. Smiley. Replaced here, I mean dominance and not dead of btc which will never happen. Cheesy
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quit your job to promote bounty campaigns fulltime: unrealistic???? on: July 12, 2018, 10:37:23 PM
Bounty work is a very difficult task and even f late, the managers have made it more difficult for some of us to eliminate double registrations and the likes. Participating in 100 bounties a week requires that you do not do any work somewhere else you can not do it. But I will advice that he shouldn't quit his job no matter what. They go hand in hand. As crypto market is going red, you hodl your coins and spend from your job and as market gets green, you hodl your job money and spend your coins.
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why cryptocurrency usually recovery in the weekend? on: July 08, 2018, 09:53:03 AM
I do not want to connect the price of cryptocurrencies with the days of the week because one will be making a big mistake if doing so but what I can say is that maybe people sell off some of their coins on weekend to chill Cheesy. By the way, crypto does not depend on week days or weekends, it may be a mere coincidence if you come across something like that.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global List of important wallets on: July 07, 2018, 02:33:23 PM
There are many wallets that can be used depending on the type of cryptocurrency you are dealing but ideally, hardware wallets are the best options for safety purposes. Metamask is also good for ethereum and erc20 compactible tokens.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: July 06, 2018, 10:04:43 PM
To be honest, ever since I discovered crypto, I have never thought of leaving more money in the bank. I leave most of my money in crypto as I have control of it. I do not think abut whether someone will escape with my money or not. Smiley
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I invest only in ICOs on: July 06, 2018, 09:45:32 PM
Investing in crypto nowadays is one of the most difficult task every could task himself with and it is due to the many scam in the crypto industry. There is no need to ask people to list better ICOs for you. Any ICO is a potential scam because they are not regulated like banks that one needs a certificate to operate.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: July 06, 2018, 12:15:32 PM
All you have to do is wait.
Don't look at the price fluctuations of crypto-currency recently, or it will make it hard for you to sleep. People who make money in cryptocurrency markets are always long-term holders, and you just need to keep that in mind. Grin
You are right but you cannot wait if you do not have anything to spend. It is good to hodl but we shoulld all know when to hodl or else, you will die leaving your money behind. This time is good to hodl but that is when you already sold some good amount to take care of you at this time.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Punishment for ICO for being scammed. on: July 05, 2018, 03:30:41 AM
Is there any posible way to filter who are going to make an ICO to be able to know if there are scam or not? And is there any bodies of law that would be able to punish them once they turn into scam. And what punishment should be given upon committing such the crime?
I have not heard of that yet in the cryptocurrency world and this is the reason why scam projects are on the increase nowadays. We need a regulatory body to issue ICOs else we will be scammed always. People are using the anonymity in crypto to kill their fellow brothers.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: June 30, 2018, 08:11:19 PM
That is what we are all facing as promoters of new projects. We all wished we never promoted scam projects but since no one knows the outcome of an ICO, we promote them and the best ones get their investors rich. As a promoter or a bounty hunter, you must read reviews about the project before you start promoting it.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest to Ripple? on: June 30, 2018, 01:52:06 PM
Every coin on the market has the potential to increase in the near future. That is when there is no misfortune such as bad news for the coin. Ripple has been on the market for long and many people believe in it so investing in it won't be a bed idea.
