381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's some talk about protfolio management! on: May 19, 2020, 02:35:48 PM
You have quite a good example impressive comparing it to farmers and seed  Grin That is a common newbie mistake to invest in bad seed, I was once in that situation before, I keep holding it I was hoping it will bounce back until it reaches no value at all. What a big mistake, regrets, and disappointment. But I consider it as a lesson now I only select few coins it is not necessary to divide your asset you can invest in one asset like bitcoin it is the safest investment in cryptocurrency.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance listing can't erase price dump on: May 19, 2020, 01:30:20 PM
Even binance is a centralized exchange they did not control the market. The market price is determined by traders, traders are the one who is making the price and not the trading platform. It is just a 3rd party platform that enables us to exchange crypto. But a reputable exchange can bring trust to its traders and not be affected by fud, also, the projects or coin price depends on the quality of the projects itself. Some projects with good development or has a big partnership usually go up.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help new ICO project on: May 19, 2020, 12:50:36 PM
Sad to say most projects with no budget often fails, projects that started from scratch are not attractive to investors now maybe in the year 2017 but we are 2020 now. Why not approach some private firms to fund or invest in those particular projects? That is what most projects are doing now they are partnering with private firms. Try your best to convince them if your project is amazing and has potential you should find another way. I guess IEO costs a lot too but it is worth it if you are launching it on a top and trusted exchange.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which trading platforms do you use? on: May 19, 2020, 11:49:56 AM
If you are looking for a trusted platform with good liquidity you can count Binance just like anybody says, but if you want to have more useful tools, You can join for free on tradingview for more detailed charting, you can also subscribe to their plans for extra features just search it on google. Binance + Tradingview is perfect trading platform for a beginner even experts. Better try those platforms that have already a good reputation than risking on new ones that most likely turn to scam.
385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why the whales want to trade as anonymous on: May 19, 2020, 11:09:49 AM
Of course their names are recorded on various platforms, but if it is released on the public there is something wrong with the platform, Like an invasion of privacy unless it is hacked. I don't think whales will finish or cashout their BTC or ETH, It will stay on their wallets and to the exchange and they are sending it back and forth. They are just playing the market and taking advantage of it.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins on Binance may have gotten a boost from Coinmarketcap on: May 19, 2020, 10:02:25 AM
The TOP 10 exchanges now on CMC are more convincing and real compared before, I was about to leave CMC and use coingecko instead but news came up and it was acquired by Binance which is really good. As expected they fix what is needed to be fixed  I guess next on it to remove sh*tcoin with no volume at all. Removing adjusted and reported volume I guess was a brilliant move some exchanges volume is only generated by bots which is obviously fake. Now CMC is looking good but I guess CMC is not biased, Binance can be replaced by other exchanges anytime.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel this pressure on physical gambling? on: May 19, 2020, 09:21:34 AM
~
I made a bit similar topic before but I already close it to avoid spam replies. It has a different title but I get the same replies. It is about physical casinos compared to online casinos and what pressure do gamblers are experiencing. Because my question is already been answered and there is no point to discuss it further. If you want to read my previous topic here it is, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5240181.msg54214206#msg54214206
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real and fake on: May 19, 2020, 08:45:04 AM
We can't deny the fact that there are some really good scammers, Good in technical and also in creating unique ideas, Why not just make it a real project right? It is a waste of talent. I encounter one before Good website interface with https, and really good whitepaper not plagiarized. It is a flawless scam plan, When it is listed on the exchange it reaches a high price, and then everything went wrong the team is gone, it is an exit scam. All we can do is minimize those risks. I prefer to trust projects that have partnership on high reputation projects to be safe but verify the partnership legitimacy first.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 18, 2020, 07:39:51 PM
Government orders to close down not relevant establishment right? except for hospitals, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other important establishments. It is just weird why he can still play at a casino so the casinos are clearly not following rules and violates the order of the government. I guess you should report it to the government since you clearly saw what is happening. Even if they have mask the risk is always there, some people are really rebellious.

Why to call them addicts right away? Some people are free, without wife and kids, they can spend their night as they
are pleased.
One thing is important here Yoshie, where do you live!? For big cites with many casinos, and underground casinos, with
many single mans this is not a strange thing, what can people do in 4 walls entire day? I live in a small community,
outside city, I can't say it's a village, nobody grows anything, town is around 3 km away, here is quiet, we don't have
casinos here. But for big cities this is normal I guess.

Yeah, it is normal to play but did you forget that we have a pandemic now? we have covid19 crisis, they should obey the rules to minimize the casualties.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we would have been nothing without Bitcoin and Bitcoin forum on: May 18, 2020, 05:59:47 PM
But the single TRUTH is we need bitcoin and the forum than it need us  Smiley Smiley Smiley
Of course, We need a forum to discuss about bitcoin, altcoin, and other development stuff than it needs us. Because of the forum and other platforms, the cryptocurrency is spreading across different countries new developers and crypto enthusiasts are born and it is needed for new generations. But now I guess some universities are offering courses about blockchain already which is really good. Forum is not the only option now to learn about cryptocurrency but I will never leave this forum It is part of my daily life now.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about investing in Eos on: May 18, 2020, 04:48:11 PM
EOS is a decent coin it has a different approach, like what we usually used to, some coins like ETH or even BTC, you will spend fees for every transaction, but on EOS you need to stake some CPU and RAM and you can send a transaction without fees and that whats make it unique from other coins. I guess it is safe to invest in EOS. But sometimes I get annoyed on how their platform works, you cant send because of "out of CPU" error even you have a balance and you can't make a transaction too, you need another account to add your cpu which is inconvenient I guess that is why they cannot beat ETH.
392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk is not doing well in Alexa rank because of the Merit system on: May 18, 2020, 03:58:58 PM
I guess Bitcointalk does not care about these ranking sites whatsoever, We are not competing with anyone this is the home of satoshi Nakamoto and that is enough it is the best bitcoin and altcoin forum. The merit system really helps on eliminating bots users that are only after with bounties and abusing it. True and Interested users will stay here in the forum and those who are not willing to learn and just after for free money I guess they are long gone.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid being cheated by altcoin developer on: May 18, 2020, 03:24:55 PM
First, the idea of forking bitcoin is bad, why fork? we already have bitcoin, and if you are looking for forks why not support the existing ones? Like BCH, Litecoin, etc. If you want to create another coin just to create free money and you don't even have knowledge of how it is created, you already messed up. Please we have already enough sh*tcoins on the market don't attempt to add one, we need crypto adoption in order for that to happen support and use the existing coins like BTC, ETH.
394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know is someone real and trusted for Bitcoin trading? on: May 17, 2020, 04:55:04 PM
In the majority of platforms, you can trust people by their ranks or reputation, but there are cases that rank means nothing. The reputation that is built for several years is hard to attain, so look for someone who has it I guess it is safer to trade with those guys but the risk is always there. If you are really concerns about trust in trading with other people why not trade on exchanges instead? no hassle no 3rd party involve just you and the exchange and more convenient.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: May 17, 2020, 04:08:56 PM
Allocation for bounty hunters is usually 1 to 2 percent of the total supply, which I think does not really affect the market, maybe a little bit it will cause some temporary decrease in price but if the project is really good it will surely recover. If traders make an interest in their coin I guess it will have a good volume, it is the team jobs to do good marketing to attract more traders. But what is happening in most projects now is they are going to list on sh*t exchange, attack by bot maybe the team dump also, and the project is completely rekt which is unfortunate for hunters. Tokensale is not really a thing now, except those IEO from top exchanges which is still good.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About adshares and ads coin on: May 17, 2020, 03:48:20 AM
If you are still looking for options, why not just email their support instead of your inquiries?
how could contacting their support or any of their representatives be of any help! It's not like they are going to tell you: "we are scammers, don't use our service"  Cheesy
However, joining their official channels and reading their customers reviews might be beneficial.
What are you talking about? OP is still looking for an option even some people are telling him that there is only one option for now, contacting support and ask if there is an alternative option to sell his coin will make him satisfied even if the answer is the same and for sure he will get the right answer. Why mentioned Scammers? You are out of topic. Contacting support is always beneficial, it is very easy to send an email in seconds.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New exchanges worth my money???? on: May 16, 2020, 08:51:21 AM
Yes, They are successful BNB got binance chain with smartcontract now and OKB has OKchain on testnet already I don't have info about this Huobi token, But those two I am pretty sure there is a good future ahead especially binance they already have a DEX too, I have also invested on exchange token before on kucoin exchange (KCS) this token has fewer update unlike those two above but kucoin exchange technology is pretty much the same with binance they launch kucloud first and after that, they launch their binance cloud also, the only thing binance is at advantage is its liquidity and much more volume.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About adshares and ads coin on: May 16, 2020, 08:01:03 AM

399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token burning on: May 16, 2020, 07:30:32 AM
Technically the result of a token burn is a price hike. You can compare it to your local store like for an instance there is a limited supply of chicken meat, obviously, the sellers will sell it at a high price that is what happens when you decrease the supply of a certain product or asset. That is what some projects are doing some do it as an event or occasion yearly, every 3 months like Binance. I heard some altcoin before has a different method of burning they burn their token supply when you send any amount of their token or made any transaction but  I don't know if they are still running it.
400  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I can't withdraw my Bitcoins on: May 12, 2020, 11:31:24 PM
All cloud mining site are scam it is a matter of time some only exist for a month and some can survive for a year. I know some cloud mining site that survive for more than a year and then turned scam already, So it is better to ignore something like it for your safety. I have been a victim by these site before I made a mistake joining it but I will never engage on this kind of site anymore.
