381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO with passive income? on: January 12, 2018, 02:57:22 PM
Hello, do you know some recent ICOs which are generating passive income (coins for holding). I mean like LHCrypto, Rise, Minexcoin.
I will register under you Wink.
Thank you very much for the answer!

I am holding Bitdice which pays dividend every quarter. Hope to learn from others which coins are giving passive income
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Money on: January 10, 2018, 02:09:12 PM
Crypto is the beginning of an alternative monetary system. The next stage in the evolution of money.

A system where (crypto) currencies are actually forced to compete for market share. What a concept!

Government-backed currencies have operated as monopolies for far too long. There's no innovation. Fiat money is simply a blunt tool for controlling people.

Crypto gives me hope that we can build a better system... and eventually end the central banking system.

I'm not alone in that hope. Millions of people are now betting on crypto to change the world.

I believe this is what's really fueling crypto's rise. The widespread desire for a system that is fundamentally different and better.

Sure, speculation and profit-seeking play a role. But people don't just invest in crypto... They join it, like it's a movement.

So the next time you hear somebody mention tulips, bubbles and crypto in the same sentence, consider giving them a different perspective.

The financial institutions won't throw in the towel but they will evolve and learn to provide better services that will flow with their customers. The great thing about crypto is to let the Government and Banks know that money is no longer in the hands of the elite. It is now an open market

384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any football ICO? on: January 10, 2018, 01:58:04 PM
Are there any ICOs focusing on football or sports?

We have had Finance Icos, Game Icos, Gambling Icos, and even Icos on drugs . So it will be great to have an ICO that deals with sports .
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why many people believe that Bit4G is a good company? on: January 10, 2018, 01:55:09 PM
To be honest i do not like or believe in all those lending and bitconnect copy cat projects, they are just like ponzi schemes and can close anytime.

I do agree . One needs to be cautious about these lending platforms in order for funds not to get burned
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dark Future of Bitcoin on: January 10, 2018, 01:53:29 PM
Blockchain asking me $138 fee for $1k transaction to an external wallet, this is sickness. Is there any way to avoid this fee?

I think its time to quit Bitcoin and move to another good alt coin, Ethereum or Litecoin.

I also read today that China is going to stop Bitcoin mining operations because it consumes a lot of electricity.

Bitcoin's DOOMSDAY is near.

Which platform are you using to store your bitcoin? Not all platforms charge high fees on transactions
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think alt coin market will crash? on: January 10, 2018, 01:51:57 PM
Some people think it won't crash, other has been saying "tomorrow" for the past years.

But looking at the gains the last few months its hard to see this continuing for years to come. Can there be a long (3-6 months) bear market now to correct or is crypto too hot and will increase crazy up til implosion?

I'm thinking maybe 6-12 months of crypto craze left. Then crash (90% of coins loose 90% of value) and a few years of bear market before successful crypto projects starts making money. Pretty much .com again.

What do you think?

Not all alt coins were created for the market. Some are genuinely solving a problem. As soon as regulators, beam their lights fully on these alt coins, then be prepared for a crash
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: January 10, 2018, 01:49:56 PM
I'm extremely depressed about my impatience and persistence.
I'm a stupid man. Fuck myself.
I bought the ETC when its price was 15$, i kept it for three months, including when it down at 9$, I still don't sell, because i believe it. And when ETC rise to 15$. I sold everything and waited it down $ 13 to buy more. But, fuck myself, the next day it rise to fucking 30$, Are you kidding me?
I bought 5000 XRP from May, i still believe it, I bought more yesterday, I bought when its price was 0,00001610sts, and when it down 0,00001558, i afraid BTC up, XRP down. So i sold everything. And... This morning I woke up with a sense of chest not say words.

This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.
I told myself, "The market is still there. Nothing to hurry"
I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't  tell anyone about this, including my wife.
Thank for listening.

Welcome to the club and you are on your way to being an expert in the market. This is the first lesson that every newbie investors learns about the market.  It is not the end of the world. Learn from the mistake and move on
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you find your news? on: January 10, 2018, 01:44:50 PM
What websites (besides this forum) or other sources do you use to get news about your coins?
I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

I use Coindesk to get my news and Block geeks for guides in the crypto market

392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance... is this place a scam? on: January 10, 2018, 01:30:55 PM
A little nervous. Last night I bought 600 shares of IOTA which went up significantly today. I logged back in to move them off the Binance exchange and it is telling me that my withdraws are suspended due to "network congestion." I also have a small balance of ETH that has the same message.

Binance has been having issues with their network and recently have even restricted new members. Lets hope they are able to get their acts together and fix the issue
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies are the furture on: January 10, 2018, 09:06:50 AM
Hello people,

As 2017 is coming to end, I want to know what exactly cryptocurrencies hold for us in 2018. I believe that cryptocurrencies have future. What do you think?

The future of money is that the world is heading towards a decentralised platform where no one wants to be restricted by a middle man. Alt coins are going to change the world but it is going to be that of the best coin winning.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people buying Ripple? on: January 10, 2018, 09:03:44 AM
  • it is explicitly (or at least formerly) not considered a currency
  • it is centralized (the company can freeze accounts if it wants, create more coins, or be sued)
  • it's major use case is for inter-bank transfers. So if Bank A and Bank B was to exchange currency x for y, they will use XRP in-between. But this gives no value to the currency itself, it is just used as an intermediary. Is it conceivable that Ripple the company will not have enough XRP for these internal bank transfers and they are going to have to buy them back from the public??

So it seems that XRP has no value outside its use by the company Ripple. Is anyone actually using it for commerce or any other reason? It is not considered a store of value like bitcoin (in any case one would want something decentralized.

Most people buy ripple because it is among the top coins in the market.  As for use case,  I believe developers are working to make its adoption mainstream.  Only time will tell
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if dogecoin value goes 1$??? on: January 10, 2018, 08:57:36 AM

396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i think to store my salary in crypto wallets. it's good or bad decision? on: January 10, 2018, 08:55:19 AM
Hi,
i convert to my salary into xrp and it store in ripple wallet every month for (i expect) one year. it is good or bad decision? i think XRP hit $100 in near future

Yeah you sure are in the right direction but never put all your eggs in one basket.  I suggest you invest in other top alt coins
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is King and Ethereum is Queen , Do you agree ? on: January 10, 2018, 08:53:49 AM
What is constant in life is change. Bitcoin is the pioneer of the change but there will be other coins that will be better than bitcoin.  It is a matter of time
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No loyalty in the Crypto World on: January 10, 2018, 08:51:53 AM
Ethereum Price Achieves New All-Time High at $1,410, Market Shifts From Ripple to Ether. How often do we see this occur? Investors hop from one crypto to another to ride the tide. Will we ever have some loyalty in this market or will it forever be a hop around market with 0 stability?

Crypto market will definitely be stable in the long run.  When people discover that they have invested in coins that have no value,  there will be a correction in their approach to investing to alt coins.

400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherium crazy growth!!! on: January 10, 2018, 08:42:25 AM
Have you ever been worried about the crazy growth in the Etherium transaction price?

I am not worried because this is how the market is.  It is just crazy with a lot of manipulators who pump and dump to make profit
