381  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 12, 2017, 04:38:28 PM
It's always better to have money than not to have it. It's certainly not above all things but it's something you need. The more you have the better upto a limit Smiley

Repeat : How is he able to add an alternate email account and send recovery code to log in from that email? It's not possible to add an alternate account without my password. And if he had my password, why add an alternate email
384  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hackers trying to steal crypto by loggin in to exchanges and hacking my email on: September 12, 2017, 06:00:56 AM
Please try to change your email. Your email may have auto forward function like gmail.

No I don't have auto forward.

Why would the hacker send an account key code to another email and add an alternate email to my email address? And how can he send the account key code to another email?
385  Other / Off-topic / Hackers trying to steal crypto by loggin in to exchanges and hacking my email on: September 12, 2017, 05:34:52 AM
Someone has logged into my account by sending the account key code to another email 2 times yesterday. The first time i received this email:
___________________
On SeptembeTESTEST pm, the following alternate email address was added to your Yahoo account: **Username Protected**@gmail.com You can now use this alternate email address to safely recover your Yahoo account and verify your identity.
___________________
We sent an Account Key (code) to **Username Protected**@gmail.com which was used to sign in to your Yahoo account (********@yahoo.com). Date and Time: SeptembeTESTEST1 AM PDT Estimated Location: Colorado, United States (IP AddresTESTEST) Device: chrome, windows nt
___________________
And he signed in to my account.
I then changed my password and signed him out. I also removed permission for all apps from my account security page and only have my personal phone signed in to my account.
But a few hours later i got these 2 emails again.

I removed him again but i have nothing else to do as all app permissions were already removed earlier.

I have 2 step login activated with my mobile number but it seems that does not stop the login.
The password is unique and is only used in yahoo.
My other emails are safe so i know it's not my PC that has been compromised.

He tried to reset my password for other sites and was able to reset some passwords. Binance and BTC-e. But Binance i had google authenticator and BTC-e he was able to login but withdrawals from the site are paused at the moment.

EDIT : How is he able to add an alternate email account and send recovery code to log in from that email? It's not possible to add an alternate account without my password. And if he had my password, why add an alternate email.

The only thing i can think of is that some app is giving access to add an alternate email account.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Wonder what's the update. They should have tried to return funds to users of the exchange.

Can we get an explanation regarding this:

https://twitter.com/erikgeurts

Someone has called him at home and threatened him and his family. He then asked me to remove his name and photo of the Team which I immediately did. The only way I can explain his tweets is that he is trying to make sure that the threats don't continue.

This doesn't seem like a good explanation. He has to say it, not you. Or else i could start an ICO taking anyone's name and when they ask their name to to removed I'll just say they were being threatened.

Why would anyone threaten him and his family for a photo on a website?

Another red flag is the Bitcointalk account ICOScamHunter. Why has he made a new account and only posted here in this thread? If he is such a good investigator, why doesn't he post with his real account or why doesn't he post in any other ICO thread? He seems to be an account that wants to make this project look legit.

All the youtube accounts that have commented in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mX5XsY5PAQ are new accounts.

Where are the others from the team? They don't have a Bitcointalk account?

389  Local / India / Re: INDIA'S FIRST TOKEN SALE on: September 10, 2017, 02:52:39 PM
It seems you're taking a big risk launching an ICO from India. It would be better to set up the company in another country and do the ICO if you are serious about the project because India has stricter capital controls compared to China and look at what China has done to ICOs.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who wants to see the price go down? on: September 10, 2017, 05:53:10 AM
Everyone's waiting for the price to go down to buy it so it can't go down at the moment - atleast for a few months. If we see depressed prices for a long time and people start losing some interest then we'll see low prices.

Is the presale still going on?

It should have been upto September 9 at 2 PM UTC

393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: September 08, 2017, 04:18:11 PM
Money is just something that people put value to. If everyone accepts crypto then there's no need for money. Yes, crypto can change the world.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times has China banned bitcoin? on: September 08, 2017, 04:16:20 PM
China is showing the world how bad communist countries are. If they are not sure what to do, they don't listen to anyone. They just shout BAN IT! Only after that will they go home and think.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet in 2014: “Bitcoin is a mirage, stay away from it” on: September 08, 2017, 04:13:50 PM
He's right in the sense that you cannot afford to invest billion of dollars even now in this technology. There are many risks. We can all be right based on our own perspectives.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should we use Bitcoin in daily purchases? on: September 08, 2017, 04:12:24 PM
1)     Slow transactions

It's not slow at all. It's almost immediate. And for merchants most other forms of payment are real slow because they can be changed back anytime even after weeks.

2)   No reimbursements

Most merchants will give you refunds if there is an error.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Profits and the Bubbles on: September 08, 2017, 04:10:11 PM
I'm not here just for the profits. I believe in the technology and that is why I buy Bitcoins. Because I believe in the technology, i can see it's potential and how much it's value can go up.

It's always better to stick to what you have said earlier. People had so much time to get into the presale and now it's opened again.

How much has been collected?

This? https://etherscan.io/address/cdxnetwork.eth

Says 20.11% of 30,000 ETH on the website and contract address says 1,340 Ether?

Anyway Good Luck!
399  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign Question on: September 06, 2017, 05:59:41 PM
Most campaigns run weekly so it's not a problem if you just do it for a week. But it depends on how long they've asked you to keep the signature.
