[Everything in the new Whitepaper is up-to-date with the latest blockchain update (fork) and the HEX algo, our first Whitepaper was mentioning details about Keccak algo which XDNA was using initially.
In a bit I'll also post another informative announcement from the team.
They say that during such a short time of existence in the project 2 hard-forks have already been carried out. What was the reason? The 1st fork was to change from the Keccak hashing algorithm to HEX. The team had noticed a large amount of hashrate (up to 75% of the network) from a single entity, probably an ASIC? We don't know for sure. But in any case the HEX algo is built from the team and it's a similar but superior solution of the famous x16r; You can read more about HEX in our Whitepaper, Page 19. I'll also quote the sum of it without the technical details, The HEX algorithm possesses a number of pronounced benefits compared to the majority of existing algorithms:
- It is not a “dummy” algo like some popular ones, where the GPU actually spends a lot of time awaiting commands and not performing computations, which is not beneficial for the GPU’s service life;
- It exhibits a stable and uniform GPU load and thus provides for better efficiency of the equipment.
- Constant and unpredictable variation of the kernels presents a pain for the adaptation of FPGAs and ASICs to it.
The details of the other fork will be listed in my next post, I want to make a clean post when I repost official announcements!  The developers are really very active and do a lot to ensure that the project is constantly being improved and developed! XDNA has a great future! |

I do not know where the development team comes from. But even if they are from Russia, they are unlikely to plan to implement the project in Russia. Rather, their markets are Europe and America. I think that the medical services market in Russia is not very computerized. Russia is certainly a big country, but unfortunately most people live in poverty. |
