382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GAS Coin / Dynamic Block Reward / Instant Retarget / LAUNCHED - GO! on: July 28, 2013, 10:51:00 PM
you are the only one crying about a premine. no one else is. you're just proving your inability to be reasoned with. if i start the coin with no premine block, i will still have to mine it until a network is formed. DUH!!! gonna be a premine either way you moron. the only difference is we'll be starting over from scratch and everyone will lose all the coins they've mined up until this point.

there are still 199.85 million coins to be mined, no reason to start over and risk losing half the miners. the client is now stable and the block rewards are improved. just be happy with what you got. you shouldn't have a problem with the programmers and the testers getting a share of the coin. its common practice in this game.

I think everyone dislikes premine. And it's common practice with coins that fail within two days, yes.

?

Also I clicked payout (payout transaction #1 wohoo) and it transferred my total balance to my PHS address (exact same amount) but in the transactions page on minar.cc it claims to have deducted 0.01 as fee and sending my total amount - 0.01. That is wrong since I did get the total amount.
Due to the amount of load the pool is getting, the stats may be delayed but everything on the backend should be fine, i think i will be upgrading the server one more time soon.

Was that a manual payout or automatic?

Manual payout.

Aside from little bugs like that that are fixable, it's actually really secure.

Sorry, I don't trust a developer anymore that tries to sell a gambling site that in its current form allows anyone to cheat the house and then claim "yeah it's fixable". I bet you would've done nothing about it if I didn't point it out in this thread to you and you would just let the first sucker buying this PoS walk away without the notice that it's seriously fubar.

386  Economy / Gambling / Re: Your highest loss streak? on: July 28, 2013, 12:36:58 PM
On JD on 49.50% I had 24 consecutive losses once.
Playing only lo or hi? Alternating between both means higher chance of losing depending on your luck.

1. Only lo.
2. Classic case of gambler's fallacy. Your losing streak is unrelated to switching between hi/lo.

I do not suggest anyone to buy this. The site is insanely insecure and I currently own more fake gambling coins that there will ever be bitcoins (on his demo site).

Are you "Open @ Insanity [Insanity FC]"?

Sorry I'm not familiar with the context of that question.

I believe it's an expression of support.

Had to laugh so hard I had to explain this entire thread to my coworkers.
390  Economy / Lending / Re: Medical Marijuana and Bitcoin on: July 26, 2013, 02:09:49 PM
After re-reading I noticed this

I'm the President of a Medical Marijuana dispensary in Arizona

I have a limited role at this point and I will be paid minimum wage to labor on the farm

What is being done wrong here?
391  Economy / Lending / Re: Can someone please loan me $800 for a computer? on: July 26, 2013, 08:39:07 AM
This is why I never made any iphone apps.  Switch to android!

And earn <10% from what you would make by making the same app for iOS (while optimizing the app to run on all devices often takes more time to do on Android; so more time -> less money).

Shouldn't it be free like[...]?

Wow.

In my hunt to get #1337 hundreds of accounts are left unused and unregistered in the <1337 space.
394  Economy / Lending / Re: Who is Joey and Anita? Heres their "loan" story. on: July 25, 2013, 08:44:33 AM
They are always on here asking for .05 or .5 or some small amount but will never repay it. They both have MANY accounts. You all know about Joey's identity but why do they do this? Well Joey stalks me so I feel it is only fair to share what I know about him and his mother back.

Heres a simple summary of their lives:

Let me explain who these people are...one is Joey who is flamboyently gay (sorry for spelling) and one is his 62 yr old mother Anita who will skype naked for you for a mere .5 BTC. They both advertise themselves on sealswithclubs.eu the bitcoin poker site. Once a month, the first friday I think it is of the month, they receive $2000 or so from the government. They call this day "Disability Money Day!". They rent an SUV, go to the casino, go out and also get their month supply of food. Within 3 days they are broke again. When they are broke they come here and other sites asking for "loans". They don't pay a penny back. They have been banned from two different poker sites and still find a way to play. They are pathetic and the worst attempt at scammers around. They will not pay you back simple as that. They live very sad lives.

You're a rich mother fucken son of a bitch stuck up think your shit don't stink asshole.

Your 10 unpaid pizzas will arrive soon.
395  Other / Off-topic / Re: quit sending pizzas to me on: July 25, 2013, 08:44:04 AM
You guys are fucking freaks.

You're the freak willing to break your toes for enough BTC on camera, prostituting yourself over the internet and much worse.
396  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Insanity Leaks] >Never Before Seen Gambling Technique< [Guaranteed Money] on: July 25, 2013, 08:39:22 AM
A higher house edge increases your chance of losing therefore increasing your bet faster.  Therefore you win more high bets per hour and make more profit.
*genius*

A first in the Just-Dice community, an account was sold! I "kingofsports" sold my account (#11) to Banker. He bought it for 5 BTC. I am now #50298 sadly but a landmark event indeed, I wonder how much some of the low accounts will go for in the future!

I wonder why you think you can claim you are the first to sell a JD account?

Why does it have to be a brand new laptop? What's wrong with a second-hand one?

He was talking about craigslist so I guess he wants a second hand one.
