381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARNIING TORCASH PROJECT SCAAM !!!! MY ACCOUNTS IN HACK TO MAKE THEM POST on: November 16, 2017, 08:26:09 PM
My processor gets a lot of workload from this application. I have not received a single coin from the developer. It seems to me that there is something wrong.

Are you joking or did you really not bother to read any of the above? Get rid of the wallet and everything that came with it as fasr as possible - for your own good!

I bought some coins last week and the price developement indeed looks very good so far. My mining results on the GTX 1070 were not consistent with ccminer therefore I chose to just buy some coins.

Keep up the good work!

Just looked a the discord group for etn.uax.io and it looks like I'm not the only one with this problem. The admin is not responsive so I assume that it's a fraud. Is there any decent pool in Europe that has more than 1MH'/s already?
I was mining there in the beginning but lots of orphaned blocks. Swtiched to this one and no issues so far:
http://pool.electroneum.space/#
how long you mine in this pool
its ok?
real hashrate?
Im getting very consistent returns from this pool considering the network hashrate movement. Just keep an eye on the pool hashrate - once it dropped to 100 Kh which was not so great for consistent returns.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: November 16, 2017, 02:01:20 PM
I do agree with the above. It is all about setting limits and being rigorous in following them. Basically it is similar to trading where you should know right from the start when to buy and when to sell without leaving that path. (Your mind tricking you that it must bounce back now and holding a position)

Has anyone mined on http://us-etn-stats.hashparty.io succesfully?
They made a payment to my wallet but 24h later my balance is still 0...

Is it a scam? I ve read somewhere that they froze the wallet payments and are working with hackerone. Is that true?

If so then who is selling on crpytopia. Is it the founders?
Who is mining on nicehash?

I received my payments to my wallet from them. Anyone who mined the coins can also sell them on the exchange. Its not a simple click and send wallet and takes like 10 minites to set up and some time to sync, but after that there is no problem to transfer your ETN to the exchangw.

is it bad if my RIG restart every 20 minutes ?

Best regards

Why is it restarting? Normally my rigs run for days or even weeks without any issues.

Language: German
Previous work: None

So far I have no previous work as a reference but I speak and write business english every day at work - among other languages. (60% english/30% german/10% french) I learned german for 12 years in school and would deliver a fast and top quality translation.

Anyone else having disconnect issues with hashparty io? What is a stable pool to mine etn on? Undecided

http://pool.electroneum.space/#
This one is reliable for the last couple of days and also has a lower fee. But watch it closely I saw already that the pool hashrate decreased from from 1/4 of the network hashrate to nearly nothing.

@phuocduong: dont mine to cryptopia. Mine to your paper wallet you can run the client later and transfer your funds to the exchange if you don’t want to keep them.

http://pool.electroneum.space/#miner

this iste has TROJAN. Kaspersky just find it and delate. Be careful !

Name of Subject:
HEUR: Trojan.Script.Generic

Who does this is a bastard.

The list has a trojan? So 1/4 of the network hashrate aka 1400 miners are mining on a site with trojan script? You are sure this is no false positive? Can someone confirm? I would need to clean my system..
Everybody who use webminer to mine is fool. Hashrate is low and the fee is very high too.
A lot antivirus will detect it, because it might use your CPU without you knowing it, like botnet.

I merely wanted to point out to the pool itself which is working fine and giving consistent rewards. I only do gpu mining no browser mining as you pointed out it gives nearly nothing back besides a broken mobile.  Now it all makes sense Smiley

I provided my input. I would maybe add a distribution curve similar to sumo coin - a bit more dynamic than the halving in place now. The Crypto universe is fast moving;  better get the reward distributions right now to prevent changing it again and again.

I agree with what was posted above the additional 6PIN connector is not necessary if you keep the GPU clock below 1250 Mhz. I also have the Nitro 570+ and works like a charm.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1070 G1 try to get 430-460 Sol/s on: November 14, 2017, 07:59:27 AM
I find the G1 model of GB in general not that good. My windforce versions stay much cooler with similar output and settings. I think that the backplate which is supposed to look badass actually decreases the cooling capacity.

I do manage to keep the card under 70C with roughly 460 sol/s at a low PL anf high efficiency. Nevertheless I will avoid the card layout in the future.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTCZ] BitcoinZ - No-premine, No-ICO, No-Dev Tax - 100% Community on: November 13, 2017, 09:07:25 PM
Good evening, morning.

I want to explain and talk about BitcoinZ and where it is going.
We currently have a graphical roadmap being created. It will be put onto the bitcoinz.global website. Thanks to @whitewood and @clikan4ik

The focus of BitcoinZ is GPU mining, it gives the ability to mine to anyone with a graphic card.

300,000,000 people are wanting to get into crypto. We have a very stable crypto base of Zcash. It will soon release Jubjub which is zero knowledge privacy transactions with enough performance additions that it can be used on a mobile phone. When jubjub is implemented into the Zcash base, BitcoinZ will pull this and update also. At this point we will integrate zero knowledge z_address transactions into the mobile wallet.

We must focus on new comers to crypto. This is where BTCZ becomes popular and mainstream. We must do this through social influence.

BTCZ must be easy and understandable, 2 things that we have but we have not constructed in the correct way is: guide on mining. guide on how to buy bitcoinz.

We need to explain how to purchase BitcoinZ to a person that doesnt even know how to buy bitcoin. We must explain the method. Purchase BitcoinZ through localbitcoin or exchange etc. Then transfer to c-cex.com and screenshots of everything on how to do it.
ANOTHER thing is how to mine.

We must explain how to mine to someone who doesnt even know how to build a computer.

We must explain and buried one does this on his website, the comparison of graphics cards and what to purchase and how to set up a mining rig and how to start mining bitcoinz through a pool.

I will cover all costs for graphic design, web hosting, domain purchasing etc.

It would be a good thing to have 'findbitcoinz.com' which explains everything

minebitcoinz.com which explains everything

Now I cannot make these guides and maintain the websites etc because I have my hands full of completing other tasks on the roadmap but I believe there are many people who can construct this and contribute.

It is possible to create a site like shapeshift which you can purchase BTCZ with BTC using the C-CEX Api

If anyone can make any of this, please collaborate and do not worry about any costs, as I can cover all costs.

I am currently working on e-commerce plugins

We have such a beautiful wallet MyBitcoinZ which has the ability to scan QR codes from a mobile device etc

There will be an update in about a month that will handle bitcoinz:// calls to web browsers etc for purchasing.

We have 1 issue which I think is minor, as our addresses are t1 and can be confused with other zcash forked crypto

As we evolve, we may need to change it from t1 to z1 or b1 or anything else that isnt already used.

BitcoinZ will also be working with other coins to integrate features which will be mutually beneficial.

There is also a preliminary plan for BitcoinZ Masquerade, which will be a hidden second chain ran on ethereum. It will not be on an exchange, it will handle smart contracts and exchanges for BTCZ.
You will be able to purchase smart contracts with BTCZ
Exchange BTCZ to other crypto that is on a smart contract on the chain.

The chain technically will not even have a name, it will just work in tandem with BitcoinZ

It does not need to be on an exchange because IT is the exchange, and decentralized.

If anyone has any questions please ask, so we can clear anything up

So the tasks that can be done are:

How to mine BitcoinZ <--- explained graphically, perhaps with video also.

How to purchase BitcoinZ <--- explained graphically and also with video.

if anyone else wants MyBitcoinZ for iOS just message me your email to add you, or email admin@bitcoinz.ph

We are working on a consensus to halve the current block reward from 12500 to 6250. We will add a developers fee of 250 coins. This will make a block reward of 6000 coins and 250 coins for the developers.
We need a developers fund to be used to pay for infrastructure costs, web design, graphic design, marketing, exchanges and more. The developers fund is a very small amount but gives a very large incentive to expand BitcoinZ.

There is a large problem with BitcoinZ as the large coin holders are not developers. This is creating a void and impeding development. With this fund, new developers can join at anytime and all costs will be paid.

We have forked BitcoinZ and have a new official repo which will include many new things in the coming days.
https://github.com/btcz/

We will add the wallet service, how to guide.
We will add html+js wallet, how to guide.
We will add e-commerce plugins, woocommerce etc with a how to guide.
Plus much more.

When we come to a consensus on the block halving and developers fund, BitcoinZ will be updated at
https://github.com/btcz/
https://github.com/btcz/bitcoinz

There will be a significant notice before any changes are made to BitcoinZ code base.
You will see the pull request.

You may still follow the old repo but, it will be deprecated.

We will keep the community updated.

The change if it happens, will be a easy transition, as you only need to update if you run a node. All MyBitcoinZ wallets will automatically be transferred over and the user will notice nothing different.

Please join us on slack @ http://slack.bitcoinz.global/

Does halving to 1,250 comes together with reducing the supply to 2.1bi coins?

The halving would just come earlier. It should not affect the total coin supply just delay it.
396  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake signature campaign by Nizar93 on: November 13, 2017, 09:05:55 PM
The worst type of scammer. Payed for a fake campaign and disappeared. Abolutely pathetic!  Cheesy
As I already posted at the previous thread here is the tx where some of the applicants were payed upfront: https://blockchain.info/en/tx/473c2db446a78c42273464a427ccf74ce475974edd773fac2aa8c970a879ce2e
There is too many strange things around this thread but i think there is a chance that this guy was realy hacked (he realy payed over 200$ and said that the campaign is a scam, wtf?). Imho ofc thats your right but you butthurt too much about the time you've spent for applying for it.
I have no doubt those recipients were part of the scam.  I have little doubt that Nizar93 wasn't, in fact, hacked.  And if he was, he deserves the neg for not stopping this sooner.  Don't let the change in English quality fool you.  That's part of the scam, and if you believe that just because the offer was made in relatively good English, you're a sucker.  You don't think he could have had someone else post for him?

You should really calm down with your accusations.

I do understand you are mad because you were promised something and it wasn't delivered, but you cannot just go around and say everyone who claims to be paid is involved into this situation. I also applied for this campaign, got accepted and got paid - am I gonna get red trust as well, just because you say so?

Before tagging anyone, admins should check the IP address on nizar93 account to see if IP address changed in last couple of days. They shoud also check out his writing style 3 months before and how it suddenly changed 2 weeks ago. He either had some insanely intensive English languag lessons or it's not the same person writing. Now, I'm not defending nizar93 because he myabe tried to sell his account or he didn't secure his account well enough, but you cannot just create conspiracy theories and give negative trust to everyone who applied for the campaign.

On the same note, I seriously don't see any point in making a campaign, and revoking it 3 hours later. You would expect that a scammer would let the 4 day campaign finish and then disappear/not pay?

Next time before posting please think how your unbacked allegations can affect someone's reputation here.

So now no one answers? Should I also give you negative trust because you spread FUD, back to kindergarden?
Or was it really just about blaming someone?

I hope that at least someone would answer and we can have a serious discussion about this.

Hope you get your negative trust removed.

At least you are willing to pick this up and talk about it.  I wonder if Beerwizzard also received negative trust rating as he also confirmed the receipt of the payment which is basically all I have confirmed in the campaign ann Smiley
I have removed your rating for now, but in the future if something looks fishy stay the hell away from it. I may not be so nice to remove a 2nd rating for ignorance

As I said the user launched the new coin, his last posts looked normal and the campaign didn't look that strange to me (besides the only 4 days duration and maybe the up-front payment).

I posted my experience as this forum is all about sharing and helping fellow crypto-enthusiasts. I don't like witch hunts and will not participate in one. If you ever check my account again in 1-2 months you won't find any odd stuff. Thank you for reconsidering.

Thanks for the negative trust guys. You can check my post history I mainly joined this forum to learn news regarding altcoin mining.
I didn't know Nizar93 nor "the hacker" I just wanted to participate in the signature campaign as I recently learned this can be an additional source of income. Below the transaction where I received the payment:

https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/473c2db446a78c42273464a427ccf74ce475974edd773fac2aa8c970a879ce2e/

You can see that multiple accounts received BTC (I received 0.0021 BTC). I was merely the only one who confirmed that I received the payment but I also saw other users wearing the signature at this time.

Happy to take the blame if it makes you feel better and if you need someone to point the finger at.

Edit: I am pretty sure that with the BTC addresses in the transaction log you would be able to trace some addresses back to users here in case you want to blame more people to be scammers. (/Irony off)

Shitty scammers did anyone here suffer any losses from malicious malware? Or was he just trying to dump some coins?
I even received the payment for the signature campaign. Checked my machine and all my wallets everything still there..
But i also never participated in the airdrop and not even talking about the the wallet.. I am very cautious regarding new wallets.
