Look for one that is put together well--one that a little work was put into. I got to it about a week late, but when I saw it, the DOGE wallet was highly customized. It is not difficult to customize it as much as DOGE did--if the developer is not even willing to put in that much effort, you can be sure he intends it to be just a pump and dump. Watch out for those coins that still have the Litecoin icon and name in places....

I imagine contacting them would be your best bet. Your coins are probably still there, but if your balance doesn't reflect it, you won't be able to get at them without human intervention.

I was thinking of adding this coin to Poloniex.com, but I'm a little concerned about the developer vanishing. Isn't this a time he should be actively promoting the coin? It seems a shame to go to the trouble of actually adding something to an altcoin, and then vanish--especially when there is an eager community.

[QBIT] is way better than [Q2C].

Was wondering the same thing, doesn't cryptsy autobuy at lowest first?
You can place a buy order anywhere you want, but when the exchange actually fills the order, it will start at the lowest sell order and keep going up until the buy order is filled. I have no idea why Cryptsy has so much trouble filling orders in a timely fashion. I can't be sure how Cryptsy works, but in my exchange, that is the quickest part of the code and trivial to distribute over multiple servers. Maybe their database is just lagging, although that should be pretty easy to distribute, too.

Is this coin listed on any exchange but mine and the .io one?

If anyone signed up but did not receive their confirmation email, please contact me either here or at poloniex@gmail.com. If you do not confirm your email address, you will be able to log in, but no deposit addresses will be generated for you. We will implement an option to resend the confirmation email soon, and also make it clearer what is going on to users who have logged in but not confirmed.

Anon136, thank you for seeing the potential. Understandably, people usually want to put their money where there is the most action.
PinkPotatos, as for markets with different base currencies, I'm highly skeptical. I don't like when exchanges have a million different pairs and list the same currency three or four times. But I do anticipate an eventual need for a third base currency, after BTC and LTC.

Someone's trying to fuck with our coin's value by selling at 30 satoshi. I think those are just test trades - only 5 and 6 USDe for qty. Nothing going there right now, but it may turn out to be a good resource. Everybody thought coinmarket.io was a bad idea and now they are trading on it. I'm in no way associated with either exchange. Just thought everyone should be aware that coinmarket was not the only exchange going. +1 All the new exchanges are just using putting up the new altcoins, I'd prefer a well-known exchange add our coin, not a new exchange trying to take all the recently released altcoins. Imagine this, would you want 100,000 users spread across 10 exchanges? That would be 10k users per exchange, or would you want 100k users using ONE exchange for better and more transaction? Those were indeed test trades. (I am the owner of Poloniex.) I try to make the test trades at a reasonable value, but I guess I messed that one up. I have no idea why there are a bunch of new exchanges all of a sudden. But new exchanges pretty much have to list new altcoins to attract new users. It doesn't help anyone to list crappy coins, though, so I'm trying to weed out the ones with merit.

I'm interested, too. I like NXT--hence the Poloniex exchange--but I do have concerns about the initial distribution of NXT. Not requiring a blind monetary investment is a good idea.

One more exciting feature: NXT deposits and withdrawals are now handled automatically! Withdrawals are sent only a minute or two after the request is put through, and deposits are posted after 10 confirmations.

That's great jdebunt, thanks!
Just wanted to let people know that as per request at nextcoin.org, the LTC/NXT currency pair has been added.
