381  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Finding and getting in Bounties on: April 11, 2018, 10:41:31 PM
Since you are a newbie,I would suggest bountyhive,it is an automated platform that makes bounty hunting easy.
As for ways to check legit bounties,I usually check in rating sites and I also check their list of advisors and team members.
382  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help for newbies on: April 11, 2018, 10:16:48 PM
For tonight alone,I would pretend that I can see the future and actually give you an answer before you ask the questions.

This questions is the most asked question by newbies in Bitcointalk, and I know that when you finally figure out how the forum works, you would still ask this question and likely receive the same set of answers.

Are you curious about the question? Well the question is.. How can I get merit???

To get the answer to this $1000 question, check out this thread that has been helpfully written by a member of this forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3288547.0
383  Other / Beginners & Help / How can we pass on our digital assets to our family members? on: April 11, 2018, 10:08:02 PM
Bitcoin wallets are not like banks where you can have a next of kin to inherit all your assets when you are gone and for security reasons, you definitely can't tell your family members your security information like passwords and such while you are alive.

So I have been wondering,if anything happens to any of us now,how can we safely pass on our assets to our loved ones while still remaining security conscious? Or does our hardworking die with us?
384  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Security and general rules we should follow using Bitcoin and other cryptos on: April 11, 2018, 10:01:49 PM
Bravo.. This is definitely a helpful post...
It's good to know that I have been doing things the right way.
But I wonder sometimes, with all the emphasis we place on security and with all the measures we take to ensure that security is tight,if anything happens to us,wouldnt all that security make it that much harder for our family and lived Ines to recover our digital assets?
385  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to increase your merit ? on: April 11, 2018, 09:56:23 PM
I can boldly say that this is the most asked question on bitcointalk in 2018.
So the best way to get merit is to post helpful and quality post, dont just type for the sake of typing, let your post contribute something positive.
Merit can only be given,it is not automatic.
386  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the Airdrop campaign? on: April 11, 2018, 09:45:51 PM
Airdrops are one of the cheapest ways to earn crypto currencies because it is free,I started airdrops some months ago (December 2017 to be precise) and so far,it has been quite lucrative, airdrops are given by new projects in other to create about them,it's an effective marketing tool.

What you need for airdrops
1) Telegram
2) Twitter
3) Facebook
4) Ethereum wallet.

Some others might require you to also have a BTT account but they are very few.
387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you learn crypto currency? on: April 11, 2018, 09:41:11 PM
I learnt about crypto currencies from blog posts,I was searching for legit ways to make money online and stumbled upon it,it piqued my interest and so I decided to learn more.. It's one if the best decisions I ever made in my life
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre-ICO] Terra Virtua - Immersive, Social VR Entertainment Platform on: March 28, 2018, 12:37:59 PM
A very good project I have been anticipating for a while,I can't wait for the pre-ico coming up on the 29th of March. It's going to be one of the best.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP]🚀StasyQ - brings crypto revolution to the adult industry🚀 on: March 27, 2018, 03:11:55 PM

390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: YOUR TOTAL BEGINNERS GUIDE TO CRYPTOCURRENCY and BITCOINTALK on: March 19, 2018, 03:45:45 PM
As a newbie,I was a very fast learner but what I found so hard to do was open a myetherwallet.com account and navigate successfully through it,it was the inky thing I ever asked u r help from veterans for..
So I want to suggest the newbies would be better served with apps like ImToken and Eidoo, not only are they easier to navigate, they are much more secure because they wouldnt have to input their private key in any website.

391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Spectraal Token [SPECT] - Speculations, Secure, Decentralized - on: March 19, 2018, 05:52:23 AM
This is a very focused project,I follow both on twitter and I have been keeping a very close eye on it.. Bravo team.
392  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: March 16, 2018, 05:04:27 PM

Why did you quote that long post. We all know how it works, and if we don't, then we just need to look at the stickies.

I very nearly put you on ignore for clogging up the threads. In future, please just post the url if you think members need to refer to the post.

I am really sorry for that,I am still a very new member and I am still learning how it works,it would never repeat itself.
393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: which bounty going scam on: March 16, 2018, 04:35:31 PM
I want to know bounty programs also scam because i was join 2 different programs both are is over but after 1 month i still not receive anything .how we  know which bounty programs is good or not scam

I have not done a BTT bounty before,I started bounties with Signals and since I enjoy the automatic tracking so much,I researched and discovered Bountyhive.. So far so good,I have always received prompt payment from them whenever I complete a bounty campaign.
394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I give merit? on: March 16, 2018, 03:45:36 PM
I never thought of it that way but now that you mention it,it's quite true,it it's done like that, everybody would be a legendary member an the ranks would lose their prestige.
395  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first signature campaign just ended. Here's how it went. on: March 16, 2018, 03:12:44 PM
Thanks for writing this,I am a very active bounty hunter in bountyhive and I have successfully completed two bounty campaigns in the website(Pindify & Dropil) and although I didnt participate in the signature campaigns,I participated in the telegram, twitter and Facebook campaigns and I am loving that site! They always pay on time and as long as you play your part, you would have no issues.. I am happy for you,I wish you the best of luck in your future campaigns
396  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I give merit? on: March 16, 2018, 02:36:54 PM
Thanks a lot,I just read it,although i dont think it's fair to everybody, each individual irrespective of rank should be allowed to "like" or "upvote" or "merit" a post they like.
You might be better off going back to Facebook & Reddit then.

I love trying out new things,if we dont like a system,we adapt and search for ways to improve it,I am already adapting and loving Bitcointalk forum,I hope to be a very important a recognised person in this forum someday.
397  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Joe's Signatureless Challenge: Win $25 ($10 for 2nd) + 8 Merits every week! on: March 16, 2018, 02:28:09 PM
I love this movement,I am a newbie and this is my first day of posting but I would not be entering the challenge for this week,I want to spend this time getting acclimated to the forum but I would wear the signature anyways to show my 100% support for this wonderful initiative.
398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Start Signature Campaign? on: March 16, 2018, 02:12:59 PM
It is actually interesting to me that Joe didn't use this as a chance for shameless self-promotion, or maybe he doesn't feel as though you would stand a chance in his challenge. Joe runs a challenge which offers the opportunity to earn BTC or $ without having to join a signature campaign. This would give you a chance to actually use the forums as intended, just having regular conversations about things that genuinely interest you and still benefit from it in multiple ways to varying degrees, but certainly more so than simply joining a campaign to spam for.

Read more about Joe's challenge here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3055616.0 , I sponsor a few slots so that more participants can get something out of their efforts, time and to show that we support regular users of the forum. This would be my suggestion for learning about how the forums work, what is expected and what you are up against in terms of thought-processes, post-quality and nuanced thinking.

I was just about to go through your post history and I see you've already applied for Joe's challenge, but if you plan to actually have a chance at winning your posts are going to have to be made of more than "Thank you"s and questions. There is nothing wrong with courtesy and inquiry, but there is a search function where most of your questions can be answered. I would try to contribute the knowledge you already do have more so, and utilize the search engine to a degree that most of your posts won't simply be questions that could've been answered without further input from other users. If you have any more questions that you can't seem to find the answer to, do not hesitate to ask, because I would hate to discourage the pursuit of knowledge; but feel free to PM me the questions first, or another prominent member. People are very helpful around here, but some people get grumpy after answering the same threads/posts dozens of times.

Thanks a lot for this Sir,I am a newbie and I have already made quite a few blunders myself,it's good to know that somebody here genuinely cares about the newbies and openly encourages us to even PM you if we have questions, how I wish this was medium,I would have given your reply a thousand claps,it is the best post I have seen today.
399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I give merit? on: March 16, 2018, 01:56:48 PM
Your questions should be pretty much answered after you read this thread: Topic: Merit & new rank requirements

Thanks a lot,I just read it,although i dont think it's fair to everybody, each individual irrespective of rank should be allowed to "like" or "upvote" or "merit" a post they like.
