There are projects that is an obvious shit and there are good projects that will show good characteristics at first and then later on will eventually turned into shit. That's how risky joining bounty programs so better be cautious and understand the risks. As much as possible research on any kinds of useful resources such as ICO ratings website, Google search etc.

About your payment concerned on a specific bounty, did you already read the terms about bounty payment e.g via team or bounty manager? or even read the latest annoucement about it? You must know that first because maybe you might not informed yet.

Yess, i agree with you, sir. There is no guarantee about legit or not of bounty program, even we have feeling and the project show the great value. Because there is always have this risk as you said.

But my sugestion to TS to follow manager or bounty hunter who have good experience and the trusted one. This is also my way to find and join bounty program.
Cheers!

I have not done a BTT bounty before,I started bounties with Signals and since I enjoy the automatic tracking so much,I researched and discovered Bountyhive.. So far so good,I have always received prompt payment from them whenever I complete a bounty campaign.

You have to follow them closely, follow their twitter, like facebook, wed security, have a clear WHITEPAPER, roadmap ... especially the amount of token allocated to the project is reasonable, and important The bounty poster must have high rank and prestige. A few things for you to reference!

Bounty, and you get no tokens after one month wait, well you should see they "the ico" have a good team with also web which is can help their sell their tokens, and also you should check the whitepaper first also if you get accepted or not see and find your name on spreadsheet (if have). And do what they said, you are just a bounty hunter and they are the boss.
do it and you will get your tokens.

Some things may be responsible for the delayed/no payment: Project is scam, Bounty manager is scam, you didn't meet requirement for payment, or payments are being delayed. So maybe try look clearly into these factors.

do a research about the bounty project your going to join with. Some members do not reseach about thier campaign and in the end of the campaign they complain cause the project went to scam.

I in that case:
- I study the quality of the site and white paper
- I study the rating on the sites icobench.com, icorating.com
- I find information about the team
- I look at the presence of the group in telegrams and the presence of constant support is important - I study the opinions of people on the forum bitcointalk
And if the project is known and has a high rating, then I boldly participate in the bounty

Good luck

It is so easy for these bounty programs to not pay their members once they end.
Even the bounty managers can steal all peoples coins without the owner even being able to do anything.
So that right there tell you not to rely on getting anything after a project ends and a bounty is promised to you once it ends.

Most of the time bounty hunters wasting their time to a scam bounty ICO because they are only aiming for the reward without validating its company profile

I recommend to get you bounty ICO in icobench to make sure it is verified by professional consultant.

To the great regret to find out reliably about fraudulent or not fair programs of the bounti you can only after the end of the program. Although some programs initially look shitty. I advise before the participation in more detail to study the project and information about the team.

Why do many team distribute token proceeds only after their ICO ends. Does any one know?

Most projects have their bounty budget based on coins sold during ICO, so you can't calculate stakes before tokensale is over. Also it's common to make an audit before coins are distributed. Only when bounty rewards are in ETH/BTC, not in native tokens, they can be payed earlier.
