Each algorithm has it's own type. Please update your rigs to appropriate type (Keccak, nFactor, Scrypt-Jane,...). Scrypt-Jane (previously Scrypt-Jane&nFactor&Others has ID 2 and all special rigs are in this category so far).
Suggestion: many miners actually don't know witch algorithm is for which coin (unfortunately) ... you could help the renters (miners) so that you would display short list of coins under each table header: SCRYPT-A-NFACTOR MINING RIGS VertCoin, PandaCoin, etc....table... KECCAK (SHA-3) MINING RIGS MaxCoin, etc....table... SHA256 MINING RIGS Bitcoin, etc....table... SCRYPT-JANE MINING RIGS Quick Quick Coin, Ultracoin, etc....table...

1. How soon after ordering can we expect to actually use the rig?
You get instant access ... of course, the rig must be available, if it is currently rented, you have to wait until it's available. You can see current rig status here http://leaserig.net/index.jsp for scrypt rigs and here http://leaserig.net/index.jsp?t=1 for other types of rigs (maxcoin, vertcion). 2. Can we change the pool midway during mining? Do we have that kind of control?
Yes, of course, you have full control and you can set primary and as many secondary pools as you want. You can use whichever pool you want (scrypt, keccak or vertcoin). Happy mining!

Hmm, I understand the issue, but this could complicate things ... like I already suggested a couple posts back:
djeZo, you could display rig's description on the "HIRE MINING RIG" page.
Because the renter always sees this page when he clicks on the "HIRE!" link.
On the second thought ... it might still be very good to separate "Scrypt", "SHA-256", "Keccak (SHA-3)", "Scrypt-A.-Nfactor" and "Others". Because there is very little (none) "Others" (looks like there is no real demand for Scrypt-Jane and other even more exotic stuff), but lots of "Scrypt", "Keccak (SHA-3)" and "Scrypt-A.-Nfactor" rigs. It would be easier to handle rigs this way for the providers and for the renters (djeZo, take a look at your competition ). Furthermore, it would be nice if you would enable editing separate rig configuration for each "mode". As a rig provider I would like to save "Declared speed" and "Default pool management" for each type - I would have one "Declared speed" and "Default pool management" for "Scypt", another "Declared speed" and "Default pool management" for "Keccak (SHA-3)" and another "Declared speed" and "Default pool management" for "Scrypt-A.-Nfactor". This would make rig-mode-switching MUCH easier ... because now I have to overwrite my current "Declared speed" and "Default pool management" for current mode, and when I reconfigure the rig I have to overwrite again and again ... If you would implement this, I could switch rig mode with a single button ... this would really be nice.

Djezo, could you add a column with the coin name in the jane&nfactor rigs page ? Cause I think people don't read rig's description. I 've rented my rig Calvin two times and each time the customer set up vertcoin pools. Here is my description : MAXCOIN ONLY
This rig will average 745 MH/s with a rejection rate better than 2% for a good pool server. I rent it for 730 MH/s so you don t pay for normal rejects.
I am responsible if the rig itself has a hardware failure, and will provide refunds or credit you mining time as you wish. Isn't it clear enough ? First time I saw it 20' after the beginning of the lease but this night, I was sleeping ... I will credit him half the time he lost but I'd like it doesn't happen again. Hmm, I understand the issue, but this could complicate things ... like I already suggested a couple posts back: djeZo, you could display rig's description on the "HIRE MINING RIG" page. Because the renter always sees this page when he clicks on the "HIRE!" link. And for the renters: if you look at the speed of a particular rig, you can quickly see weather is it SHA-3 or scrypt-xxx, because SHA-3 has about 400-times more hashrate then scrypt-xxx on equal hardware.

Heh ... can't believe it ... all Scrypt (131!) rigs except the super-expensive one are rented ... coool @thehun - set a lower price, I want to see the list emtpy

- experimental: speed stats, graph is visible, check it out (for now only for past 1 hour)
One very usefull information regarding statistics would be needed: the average speed of the current lease - so that would be average speed from the start of the curent lease up to now (it is useless to have long term average speed because of switching between scrypt/vtc/maxcoin). This way the rentr would be able to see if he really got what is he paying for.

- ability to rehire rig (provider has to enable this option in admin panel - you can set how many hours prior lease expiration, current leaser can rehire the rig) - when rehiring is possible, customers will have active link to perform this
Detailed explanation about this is needed. So what exactly happens when a lease provider enables rehire for a rig? Let us say that I enable rehire for 24 hours. So the current renter will get an active link with the possibility to rehire. What happens when he clicks the link? Will he be charged for the current rig price per 24h or for the same proportinal price as the original rent (I hope it is the first option). What happens if I enable rehire for 24h but I don't have a plan for 24h - will the user interface warn me about this? So if all is succesfull for the process of rehire, the current renter will be charged for the rehire ammount and rhe rig will get an extended time without interruption?

Due to these factors, earnings for providers on leaserig are higher and I have noticed that we have considerable longer renting times, because customers know they can rely on us and are not scared of loss if they hire for 3 days.
Exactly. Since LeaseRig became an established service for long run leases, I would suggest that you also add the option to rent for 7 days (=168 hours). It might be good if you let this option only for rigs that has been so far rented for at least, for example, 200 hours (in total). I bet that many leasers would offer attractive price for 7 days ... at least I would because longer lease means less work for me and shorter "no lease" times.

For your information, Middlecoin profited .0178 BTC/Mh/day yesterday, and continues..
That's excellent news! If the trend continues and if DOGE will keep doing so well, Middlecoin will reach 0.025 BTC/Mh/day in a few days! This means that you should hire all rigs with <0.025 BTC/Mh/day ASAP and start mining at Middlecoin!

djeZo, it might be very good if you would establish rating inside LeaseRig - similar (but simpler) as eBay ... when a lease would finish, the renter would rate the lease with a 1-5 stars (on-click) ... and you would display "Weighed Logarithmic LeaseRig Rating" (damn, I'm good with naming WLLRR), for example: user rated 4 stars to 72h lease; leaser received: (1+ln72)*4 points = 21,11 points user rated 5 stars to 1h lease: leaser received: (1+ln1)*5 points = 5 points So you would display the total points a leaser received (in this example 26,11) and average "starring", that would be (4+5)/2=4,5 stars.

djeZo, thanks for the latest updates! However, here is some more work for you : 1. this is minor (aesthetic): you should change this "Modify renting time for" change to "Extend renting time for" (to be clear that a rig provider is actually extending time, "modify" is somehow unclear - or can you actually put in negative values to even decrease rented time?) 2. this is more important: When I put my rig to "Disable" you shouldn't hide all the editing options for a rig. This is very important when we are changing rig's type and therefore also wanna modify pricing. For example: I put my rig in "Disable" mode, switch cgminer to vertminer and then enable the rig - the pricing stays from the previous setting. Now, before I can make changes to pricing, someone might already hire my rig (believe or not, that just happened to me ). Some kind of workaround would be to modify pricing before disabling the rig - but then again someone might rent it before I'm able to disable it and thus I can't even switch it anymore to another mode ... So, please, it would be very useful if you leave rig editing enabled when rig is disabled. Just print with red bold text DISABLED on top of the page so that I can clearly see that my rig is currently disabled. Thanks for all the good work, LeaseRig rocks!

Hi, you can always find details (regular scrypt, vertcoin, maxcoin, etc.) about a particular rig in the description of the rig.
