381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: April 23, 2020, 07:47:55 AM
2. No knowledge about the project

I think no knowledge about the project should be exempted from such excuses why people got scam.
Every whitepaper of a crypto currency page has a disclaimer at the end that it is not a investment advice.

Hence, every people should know that doing personal researchs and digs up and essential before any form of investment at all. And refusal to do that cannot be blamed on ignorance.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the first reason why fraud projects are increasingly rampant? on: April 22, 2020, 08:16:33 AM
That aside, OP, fraud projects usually take advantage of present hype or precedence
And this is why as the halving draws nearer and nearer, and even after the bitcoin halving, there will be a lot of projects who will function for a short while befote dying off.

Always do your own research before investment
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Xcard a scam? on: April 22, 2020, 08:11:25 AM
What's happening with Xcard? I participated in this bounty campaign and since months ago now everything seem quiet and no one is talking about the project, is Xcard a scam project or a failed project?

Xcard is quiet and looks to have lost direction, there are no answers to Bounty rewards
There are no answers to token listing on an exchange since Crowdfunding.
There are no answers as to when their product, (the app atleast) will be out, COVID-19 will end and we will find out their true color
Because they will run out of excuses
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY THE BLAME ON BOUNTY HUNTERS FOR SHITCOINS? on: April 22, 2020, 08:08:31 AM
I think project teams just find pleasures in blaming Bounty hunters and it is not supposed to be so.
Just recently hex Bounty mooned after Bounty hunters were paid and that is evidence of a strong project and willing team who will not shift blame and work on products to push the prices
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: April 22, 2020, 08:06:21 AM
For example, I heard lot that P2PB2B is one of the bullshit exchanges because it has fake volume, but why on coinmarketcap can in the top 3?
Whereas on Coingecko P2PB2B is ranked 114, Does coingecko know if it's bullshit exchange? so it's not in the top 3 like in coin marketcap

So which one do you trust more?

I have not checked, but i so much believe that P2pb2b cannot be in the topn3 of exchange platforms on Coinmarketcap.
Perhaps it was just a cookie or cache error.

Coinmarketcap takes the lead while coingecko follows, so they are both functional
Tokens you don't find on Coinmarketcap, you see on coingecko so its a win / win situation
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 21, 2020, 08:17:08 AM
The only way to escape loss of your altcoin is by hodling. As long as you don't sell, the price is nothing but a number on the paper.

This is a very wrong way to go about it.
The price is something and a slight dump in price usually rekts so many capitals. So you need to relearn your strategies to fit in with the realities in crypto currency trading today.

Hodling aimlessly is not rewarding, there must be strategical news, rumors, updates that you are expecting before you just hodl for the longer time
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: April 21, 2020, 08:04:07 AM
This is very possible in the crypto space, there are still Bounty programs with huge Bounty supply and likewise regulated Bounty programs in such a way that there are reduced amounts of participant's.

If you look through recent Bounties in hex and ixianum, high rewards are definitely realistic
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does success mean? on: April 21, 2020, 07:38:13 AM
OP, i think many threads are right when they question the success of ieo/ico projects because we all can hardly point to any of such projects realization the advertised products on Whitepaper.

Most projects wander off products development after a big exchange listing and they preaching product beta out soon until everyone gets tired.

As an investor, your success should be the profits you made from investing, either the token fulfills potential or not, but profits will be even bigger if this project actualize potentials
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance vs Coinbase Pro on: April 21, 2020, 07:34:53 AM
Hello. I am having a hard time understanding why anyone would use Coinbase Pro for trading compared to Binance. What am I missing?

Coinbase Pro's fees are 0.5% for transactions below $10k. Binance charges 0.1%, or 0.075% if you have BNB. So if you made a $5,000 trade you would pay a $25 fee on Coinbase Pro and a $3.75 fee on Binance. What am I missing here? Why would anyone trade on Coinebase over Binance? How can they be competitive charges such high fees? Thanks.

This should not be a Debate because i see binance definitely coming on top.
Trading fees apart, binance now provide fiats deposit and withdrawals for over 10 countries, add that to the binance futures trading, margin trading and also the binance savings program (formerly lending).

No exchange comes close to binance, coinbase definitely has its benefit to users, but binance is better

391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: April 20, 2020, 09:02:43 PM
I prefer to post this here on this section because this is where it actually originates from. This is where the bounty scammers come to catch their "prey"- hunters.

Therefore, I have observed that since 2018, after the 2017 crypto bull , almost all bounty have been failing. After months of running bounty, some that manage to get to the exchange are dead on arrival with less than a dollar worth of 20,000 unit (or more unit) of shit distribution to hunters.

Consequently , with my little time here and as far as I have noticed, their are certain signs that seem like a no go area if we really want to participate in a fairly good bounty that we can also benefit from our labour, time and data.

These signs for me are :
1. When the thread is filled with grammatical and typographical errors.

2. When the task in the different or any of the allocated bounties are not defined. For example, how many facebook shares / posts are not defined and then you are left with asking from the shit BM. This is definitely and certainly a red light.

3. When the task is limitless. For example, no limit to shares/post.

4. When the task is too much. For example, 10 shares  Grin

5. When the requirements to get your reward is complicated. For example, you can be asked to sign up and provide referral number or code  Grin

6. When the process for reward isn't proper. For example, you notice you will be asked to watch a video to know how to provide wallet address or downlines  Shocked Roll Eyes Grin

7. When spreadsheet isn't updated weekly.... Just run  Grin

8. When weekly dates are not seen either on the thread or spreadsheet.

9. When you see only week 1 , week 2, week 3 etc just on spreadsheet without date.

10. When complaints on telegram isn't responded to promptly and you are not satisfied when you get response.

11. You don't need to continue if you notice you have been deleted from telegram and you know you have been asking legitimate questions to understand things not clear to you about the bounty.... Run run fast  Grin

12. When it is not handled by a reputable account as BM.

13. When there is no ANN at the beginning or it is provided later in the bounty maybe because someone is consistently requesting for it.

These are some signs I can remember and I know they are negative signs for you not to be paid after you do your part most times.

*** These signs are ; apart from whitepaper typographical mistakes and plagiarism  Grin Grin Grin

If we go with these signs and not sign up with a bounty you suspect could be scam, then the bounty will have less participants and with time, we can clear these scamming bounties out from this forum.

Each one tell all. You don't need to join suspected scam bounty.

I hope this thread will help bounty hunters.

You have given good signs about bad bounty projects but i do not agree with all.

Most of the tasks and rules regarding the bounty are just the terms of the bounty manager to bring out a perfectly executed campaign on all grounds for the project.
A bounty will easy 3 shares per week will refuse to pay hunters, whereas a bounty with 10 shares will do pay the rewards.

A concrete research function is important to ensure as a bounty hunter, if you choose 10 projects, 8 will be rewarding.
392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your trading strategy? on: April 20, 2020, 08:54:29 PM
For me, i follow one of the simplest trading patterns. I highlight series of tokens, research about them, watch their indicators, follow the trend; then wait for a bear market to get in and buy the tokens; After which i place my sell order too depending on what the indicators shows.

Mostly do this with altcoin tokens on binance, kucoin and hydax.
393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can we do to minimise the risk in trading on: April 20, 2020, 08:48:02 PM
As my title is newbie but i have experience with the trading so there are many things which we should do and avoid while trading.
As we all know that the basic rule of trading is to buy any coin as its possible minimum price and sell it at the possible highest amount to gain the profit.
So here is the things which we should do in trading,
1. Monitor the bearish and bullish market carefully
2. Follow the trends going around the crypto world
3. Invest only that amount which we can bear to loss.
And the following things we should avoid
1. Greed while trading
2. Keep the emotions away from trading
3. Don't invest in dump coins

This is my experience which i write with clear words and what your experience and addition in this post.

You have stated very important points to follow while trading, but i have an addition.
As a trader, to minimize risk in trading, you need to understand the market emotions, you need to understand what the market is doing at that point in time.

That will guide your core decisions to either join a trade; or sit it out.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Ethereum Wallets on: April 20, 2020, 08:46:12 PM
As a bounty hunter and low capital trader, i have never really had to use any web etherum wallets, or cold storage. I have always used a mobile wallet.
But i think trust wallet is the best. It has a very good interface and it is easy to you by anyone including a newbie.

Please do make sure to secure your seed phrase always.

396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good capital managemt is important on: April 18, 2020, 07:35:57 PM

Having known how to trade , when to trade, what to trade and what not to trade , capital management is a
Very important key in becoming a successful trader.  Alot of people make this mistake especially  the newbies like me that's why  Capital management is crucial in trading, unless you're trading randomly which a serious trader should not do. Alot of people have lost their trading capital more than once which are not even newbies.
An arm of capital management is stop loss usage. It help you to determine your loses so that trades can be closed when it's triggered. When you trade major key points level/pivot point stoploss is important. Many people don't know this that's why am writing to give concrete awareness after doing some study coupled with little trading experience.  I hope this helps as many people as it can .

In addition , Below are some simple tips that will help on our journey to becoming a successful trader :

1. Learn how to trade
2. Learn and strategize how to manage your capital
3. Make research on choosing good exchange that will favour your trading.
4. Learn to take profit at intervals

Please add your suggestion for everyone to learn from it. Thank.you

You have made a very good point, the only thing wrong is your subject line.
To complement your 4 points.

After learning to trade ; always make sure you learn to understand the market emotions, it helps a lot

399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS WALLET??FU!! on: April 15, 2020, 08:26:24 PM
Guys don't ever use any type of EOS wallet, its been 2 days already and im still unable to withdraw my EOS outstanding balance from my fairy wallet.

The error I'm getting is "Billed CPU Time (1138 Us) Is Greater Than The Maximum Billable CPU Time For The Transaction (166 Us) "....so i tried to delegate more CPU to the same account - same error.I created another account and ive tried to add balance and delegate to the main account, guess what - Billed CPU Time Is Greater Than The Maximum Billable CPU Time For The Transaction.I started delegating funds to the second account in order to improve CPU rate - that was the only success that i had. So account seemed to have enough CPU and i started delegating funds to my main account, thought that 0.2 EOS was enough - but not, later added 1EOS - again not enough, added another 3 - after that last delegate i managed to transfer only 1 EOS from the main account.I told myself - ok fu i will add 10 eos to have the opportunity to withdraw my funds...I've deposited 10 eos in the second account and guess what - when i tried to delegate funds from it to main one - Billed CPU Time (1138 Us) Is Greater Than The Maximum Billable CPU Time For The Transaction (166 Us) ,i tried to get more CPU to the second again - Billed CPU Time (1138 Us) Is Greater Than The Maximum Billable CPU Time For The Transaction (166 Us)

NOW BOTH ACCOUNTS ARE FROZEN AND UNUSABLE.FU EOS WONT USE YOU EVER AGAIN!

I hope this helps you fix that error.

I have for once got this type of error before and i hope my suggestions does help you.

1. Buy eos from binance or kucoin or top exchanhges and send to the wallet.
2. download tokenpocket from your ios or android app.
3. Import your eos keys into the token pocket app and then proceed to buy resources.
4. get your cpu and ram from the resources easily.

I figured i should probably add pictorial aids.

CLICK ON RESOURCES BELOW

Then you click on rent cpu, before you choose iBank as cpu provider, after which you can choose the amount you can afford to buy

To buy RAM, There is RAM button beside the CPU, AFTER YOU CLICK ON RESOURCES, Click on ram and this image appears.

forensic careers and salaries

I hope you are able to get it right finally
