I think a good white paper talks a lot about an ICO, that is quite technical but not so much that it leaves you confused, obviously they want to sell you the ICO, but do not use buzzwords trying to sell you impossible things or things that are not true, I would like them to be honest with what they plan to achieve, how they will do it and what difficulties they may have along the way, of course, they have to be ambitious but also have a clear goal in mind.
everyone put their trust in the ICO, but some ICOs were very disappointing and even scam, even though the whitepaper seemed very convincing but no one knew the end of an ICO, and as you said they really had to be honest in providing data on the funds they accomplish and after that they have to really use it for the development of projects they make not for personal gain All of us are aware that some ICOs are not honest. The whole point of checking ICO is to make sure the project you have picked is not scam. This is the hardest part and most vulnerable. |

you may call it as you like but it goes without saying cryptocurrency is currency of the future.
of course there are lots of bubbles in the crypto ocean but one should precisely pick the coins or tokens with working product and low market cap to invest. It is not easy indeed.

I would say invest in Ethereum now, because the price is very attractive and the project is very good. Ethereum has a lot of supporters and all the projects that are using its platform will start pushing it forward as soon as the market start recovering.

I see no reason to believe that ICOs will die this year. Yes, this is hard period for them, but I think that in times like that survive only the best and this is actually good for the whole industry IMO.

Many people in crypto don't have adequate significance of "longterm" - some thinks that it is 3-6 months. For me longterm is approximately ten years - I give such timeframe for blockchain and cryptocurrency in particular to implement it's potential. And of course this is time for holding
IMO 10 years is very, very long time. I don't think that 6 months is long term. I consider long-term holding between 1-3 years. But I like to check my coins and the news around them and to reconsider actions if needed. |

for me i just trusted in the major cryptocurrency like Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP because they are have strong community and developer with huge name in cryptocurrency world
You can never be wrong if trust old and well known coins only. They have shown that are good projects and can be trusted. I would not consider Ripple, but this is personal choice. |

Bitcoin is not the KING of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is the Legendary and ancestors of this currency. Ethereum, ethereum will never be a queen as long as there are so many potential tokens that are going on her way. Waves is a cool one and a big threat to it, and how about bitcoin cash? Litecoin and as of now, NEO is getting great. Many ICO is now getting their token with NEO wallet. that is what Ethereum need to surpass now. I agree that no coin comes close to BTC, but ETH is the second crypto only to BTC, which kind of makes it "the queen", meaning that its performance is as good and regardless of the competition, ETH has been strong, although following the trends of "the king". The whole market is following Bitcoins movement. Ethereum does it as well. With Ethereum we have a twist and this is all the projects that are created in Ethereum's platform. When market is falling the small projects usually dump Ethereum trying to keep the price of the token above water. This is pushing Ethereum's price down. But when the market is rising Ethereum will recovder quicker IMO. |

I think that the best investing options for long-term holding are already proven coins that are undervalued at the moment. IMO Ethereum is on the top of the list together with NEO. Bitcoin as well, Litecoin and Cardano.

Its good time to buy ethereum. Ethereum price is 300 dollar now and that price is very suitable its a buy chance. You shouldnt miss this chance. Buy from deep market ethereums and you will sell from like etherem price is 2000 dollar after that you remember this topic and laugh  I guess this price will continue to rise, we have seen it dip at $200+ but it has easily rise to $300. This is the most exciting part of the game, we are in 3rd quarter of the year but we have not witness a massive bull run yet, there's a lot to expect ahead. I share your thoughts. Nope. The real future of crypto is third generation coins such as Cardano and NEO. ETH has a lot of deficiencies on top of high gas price, and it is surviving only because it is being used by the ICOs. But lately a lot of ICOs are using other platforms such as Quantum and Stellar.
I don't agree with you. In my mind I cannot imagine the future without Bitcoin and Ethereum in it. This two are the most popular coins and I don't think that they will give it up so easily. |

Right. The next Bitcoin is Litecoin. Both are decentralized, peer-to-peer P2P transactions. That means they have no connection with the central banks or the Treasury. Moreover, while the supply of dollars is always volatile, both Bitcoin and Litecoin will eventually reach a certain volume with unchanged supply.
Litecoin is similar to Bitcoin. But this is not making it the next Bitcoin. IMO there is no coin like Bitcoin and it is pointless to look for replacement for it. |

No doubt Bitcoin is the best for long run investment , but I do not recommend doing all your capital for long term investment , use some of your money for short-term trading because there are lots of coins that can be very profitable .

There are so many new coins which I believe more scam are in the market. They cannot sustain the price no development and cannot follow on what they presents to the users or investors. We have to search the best coins to earn profit.
I agree with you that a lot of the new coins are scam, but it it not right to talk about all of them together. They are not all the same and we have some pretty decent projects. You are right that we have to search harder to find the best coins. |
