381  Economy / Economics / Re: Human Capital, An Intangible Asset for a Company's success. on: September 14, 2023, 05:14:50 PM
Frankly so is the distinction between human capital and workforce. No idea can really work without having the right person to interpret the idea into physical form/structure.
Even the government needs human capital, in the form of intelligence. The right intelligence I mean.
It is a quality invested human capital, that can lead a workforce and automate an AI to achieve the desired and well implemented idea to maximum efficiency.

The importance of the right human capital in the success of a company is and never be overlooked.

However, it should be taken into account that AI will continue its active attack on all spheres of human activity. It is not excluded that in 5 years, humans will be replaced in more than 30% of the work that is now performed only by humans. Therefore, one should not be complacent about the fact that AI is still imperfect

384  Economy / Economics / Re: The Bullish Case for Bitcoin, reloaded. on: September 13, 2023, 07:53:06 PM

What I have heard till now Bitcoin is used as a store of value. It was created to be a global currency but it has some limitations that won't let it work as a currency. Its legacy network takes a few minutes to transfer when the network is congested. Transaction fees are also high compared to fiat currencies. Just think you had to pay a 10$ transaction charge for a 20$ coffee. This doesn't make sense. Some gambling sites and few merchants accept it as a currency which doesn't make it one. When you can buy vegetables, fruits, and other daily essentials with Bitcoin it will be considered as a real currency. Till then it is a store of value for me and I am happy about that.

Yes, you're right. But bitcoin has an undeniable advantage - you can pay with bitcoin in almost any country without changing it for local currency. But still, because of the disadvantages you pointed out, bitcoin may eventually be replaced by some other cryptocurrency
385  Economy / Economics / Re: Teaching My Nephews About Wealth Through the Game of Monopoly on: September 13, 2023, 07:46:37 PM
Monopoly is a classic, and your reasoning matches its elements. Monopoly sometimes prioritizes competition over cooperation.

For a different approach, see "Co-opoly: The Game of Cooperatives." It promotes teamwork for success. In the game, players share capital, make decisions collectively, and face economic crises. Understand cooperative economics as well as personal finance in this interconnected society."Pay Day," another game, helps explain monthly budgets. Bills, transactions, loans, and unexpected expenses prepare players for budgeting and saving in real life.

Games can provide a good foundation, but post-game discussions and observations can strengthen and apply the concepts to real-life situations.

Economic games lay the foundation for developing business skills and building a successful career. They help to learn serious material in a simplified form. For all its apparent simplicity, Monopoly is a game with quite a deep meaning, and that is the main thing

387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will another ETF be immediately bullish for Bitcoin? on: September 10, 2023, 09:31:33 PM
In my opinion, the mass introduction of ETFs will start in March-April 2024, by the time bitcoin halves, which will start a new bull run. A bull run doesn't start out of nowhere - you need some kind of infopod. And this information occasion is always prepared in advance
388  Economy / Economics / Re: Building wealth it's not just one time Luck on: September 10, 2023, 09:27:08 PM
Extra source of income has become the order of the day inorder to stay afloat or even build wealth in this current economy of recession and increased interest rates and charges.
Building wealth is a result of consistent effort toward achieving a particular goal. It takes years and one must be disciplined enough to see it through the growing stages.
It's not just luck. It's like creating ones own opportunity in the field or area they have devoted a consistent effort in. The day just comes when everything clicks, and boom, we just call it luck, but it really isn't , because work was done behind closed curtains.

Wealth is good when it can be enjoyed, but it is not good to become a hostage to money. A person here faces a choice: to collect money for many years or just to live. And luck does not always favor the patient. Often luck smiles on those who are not fixated on accumulating money
389  Economy / Economics / Re: We Are 2007 and next year 2008 on: September 10, 2023, 09:18:22 PM

No way that we are going back to a low interest rate environment next year already. Sure the government would love to print more money and not worry about debt levels, but inflation has been a huge problem last year. Both the FED and the ECB both stated that they are more concerned with inflation than with the economy itself. Which means they will keep interest rates high to contain inflation at the risk of facing a recession. A hard landing of the economy next year seems unavoidable and the major concern would be stagflation, high inflation without growth. Debt levels are already very high in most countries and now with high interest payments for all newly issued debt it's going to be hard for politicians to justify printing any new money. The halving next year is going to be a good event for all the crypto holders and will move prices up again.

I wouldn't argue that next year will be a "hard landing" or recession or anything like that. I would wager that the printing press will be back on. In fact, maybe the printing press has only officially stopped, but not actually. No one can realistically count the amount of fiat in circulation
390  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are stable coins free from SEC ? on: September 10, 2023, 09:10:06 PM
A stablecoin is never discussed or criticized as much as Bitcoin. Even if a country bans cryptocurrencies, in most cases Bitcoin-centric measures are taken. The positive thing about stablecoins is that the value of these stablecoins does not increase or decrease due to which people never invest in these stablecoins and users only convert their money into stablecoins for their own needs, this is probably the only difference with Bitcoin.

Along with the stable coin, due to which different countries do not discuss much about this stable coin. Crypto exchanges are allowed in most countries but I don't understand why Bitcoin is not allowed. Every exchange has the benefit of selling bitcoins, in the case that every exchange has such benefits, then people of a country can easily buy and sell bitcoins by having an account in that exchange, then why not directly allow bitcoins in all countries.

The most important thing is the algorithm behind the stablecoins and the provision of stablecoins. Many people remember the cases when steiblcoins were decoupled from the dollar (in the case of USTC there was a complete collapse). That's why we need an audit of steiblcoins to understand how much they can be trusted
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are stable coins free from SEC ? on: September 09, 2023, 11:07:59 PM
It all depends on who is the issuer of the stable coins. The SEC can only affect what is in the jurisdiction of the United States. Also, the SEC needs to prove that a particular stablecoin is a security, and that is not easy to do. Therefore, most stablecoins are not subject to SEC oversight.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: Good and Bad at the same time - Mega entities hold $ 14 billions in Bitcoin on: September 09, 2023, 11:03:56 PM
Bitcoin is gradually becoming a trading instrument like securities, gold, silver, oil and so on.  The main advantage of bitcoin is its absolute liquidity. Also, bitcoin trading uses instruments that are familiar to ordinary traders, which is a great advantage
393  Economy / Economics / Re: Building wealth it's not just one time Luck on: September 09, 2023, 10:59:05 PM
Making a fortune is not the problem. The main problem is to keep this fortune. Often people who get a lot of money at once are not ready for it, so they quickly lose the easy money. As they say, easy come, easy go. The main thing here is not to give in to unnecessary euphoria.
394  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for September on: September 08, 2023, 08:23:36 PM
As we can see, the sideways trend continues. In the near future, the next meeting of the Fed will be held, at which a pause is expected. At this time, we should expect sharp fluctuations in the exchange rate. But if bitcoin does fall below the 25000 mark, it will be a relatively short-term phenomenon, so we should not attach any special importance to it
395  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy is now being powered by cryptocurrencies. on: September 08, 2023, 08:17:03 PM
In fact, in my opinion, cryptocurrencies were originally launched to pave the way for the introduction of CBDC. People got used to the ease and speed of settlements, smart contacts, wallets and other aspects of cryptocurrencies. Now it has become much easier to attract people to CBDC settlement.
396  Economy / Economics / Re: for anyone interested in how much their personal data is worth on: September 08, 2023, 08:11:48 PM
If you look at it realistically, personal data, especially when it comes to a middle-income person, is an invaluable treasure trove of information for marketing agencies. Unfortunately, due to constant leaks, despite various laws, our personal data is virtually worthless today
397  Economy / Economics / Re: It's good that financial instutions Understood that they need to use crypto on: September 07, 2023, 08:35:43 PM
Nothing else really matters, how much they've earned through transaction fees, how long they've been around, or how many people have been using them for so many years. The actual point is that they find cryptocurrencies to be a threat to them since they know they are going to be replaced by them, and that is the reason why they are doing their best to make people think that they are supporting cryptocurrencies so that people don't leave them and just use cryptocurrencies.

Whether it's Paypal, banks, or any other financial institution, they all can see the constant growth of cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, and they can't just sit back and see their own downfall and all these things are actually a reaction to that since they fear losing control over the finances of people.

Since we are cryptocurrency enthusiasts, it is natural for us to think that cryptocurrencies will supplant everything else. But is there any difference between using e-money and cryptocurrencies for the average person? My guess is that there isn't. The main thing is the speed of the transaction and the size of the commission, and here bitcoin does not always appear in a favorable light
398  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy is now being powered by cryptocurrencies. on: September 07, 2023, 08:29:37 PM
The whole question is, will the bitcoin blockchain survive if millions of people start using bitcoin at the same time? The technology is outdated, the size of the blockchain is huge, transaction fees are another problem. Widespread adoption of bitcoin is not a good thing, no matter how many people claim it is.
399  Economy / Economics / Re: We Are 2007 and next year 2008 on: September 07, 2023, 04:06:41 PM
Certainly, history could repeat itself. And next year, there may well be an alternative to bitcoin that will rival it in three or four years. The future is hard to predict, especially in our rapidly changing times.  The printing of money, by the way, has not stopped, given the growing national debt.
400  Economy / Economics / Re: What has really been behind china's economy on: September 06, 2023, 08:38:21 PM
It should be taken into account that China is a certain kind of regime country ruled by communists. There are not a lot of freedoms there. Therefore, it is not so difficult to manage the economy. The common people actually do not benefit from economic development at all
