Fuck you Haaland, i play the freehit when you play against Luton for Premeir LEague and you do nothing, and now for FA you score 5!!!!!! goals, incredible.

Halaad at this point is a risky asset to own especially that he hasn't got his confidence back in the EPL and this is usually what happens after a player gets a knock...but with that 5 goals on his tab, it will be interesting to see how the next games go, and Manchester United are next in line and I fear for them for what's to come Roll Eyes
You see what the combo of KDB and E. Haaland has done in this FA fixtures, same EPL clubs and you wonder what’s the hold up in the EPL. Why aren’t we seeing the same aggression and not just a dominant performance but one that is full of Manchester City’s goal scoring ability.
The injury of KDB that kept him off the pitch through more than half of the season might have made Pep to be playing really safe, having him come off the bench but, we need to be seeing these two on the starting line up more often for great games from Manchester City. Pep doesn’t have to be bringing him in as finisher or a helper when the team needs that break but, have him create the breaks and leave the pitch early enough to rest. It might be a prey on the already exhausted opposition strategy but, just look at the score line with Luton, goal scorer and who is producing the assist.

It’s just awful that, he @Haaland wasted my captaincy for 2 consecutive GWs, even a DGW by not netting above a goal and here he is with all the goals you could possibly ask for in 3 GWs.
I wouldn’t even trust him when they face off Manchester United, it’s still a risky game but, with his recent count on goal and the fact that Manchester City would be playing from a home side, I’ll like to believe they would improve on there EPL goal scoring.

Bowen stole the show yesterday, really did not expect West H to win that easy.
I brought in Neto with hopes that he would create something with Wolves but, nothing. Even the infamous Hee Chan that was almost a favorite for the GW when looking out for a player from Wolves.
Good enough I had Bowen to compensate on all my hopes.

Thanks for your response man. Although I was asking in the context of the weekly prize if the negative points deduction gets factored in but it doesn't matter anymore now that Bowen has handed @SmartVirus (congrats, btw Wink) the boost he needed to get weekly prize thanks to that hattrick.
It is the same for weekly prize. Quoted from OP

GW winner is a person with most points in that round. Chips count and your minus points from transfers are substracted from total. As per official rules.
Speaking of rules and what permutations need be considered @Trofo @Icopress, who won the GW26? I bagged it right?  Grin
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 26, 2024, 11:47:37 PM
Girona back in second place. Sweeettt.

Slept off during the Girona game. It was 0-0 at half time so I was pleasantly surprised (but happy) that Girona collected all 3 points and are back to winning ways. That 3-0 win is a good goal margin to get back to winning games. If Madrid had drawn yesterday then it would've had some really nice impact on the table standings but nonetheless, I'm still glad they got 3 points from the Rayo game.

If Madrid loses any  more points, Girona needs to be in a good position to pick up maximum points. I have a feeling that the title race is far from over.

+1 to Girona for winning my single bet.  Shocked cool 1.60 odds at BcGame to end the day.
I knew Girona was going to win, had a bet on them too and it was pleasing to find them leading by early minutes in the second half. When they couldn’t manage to get a goal in the first half, I wasn’t very impressed, Rayo wasn’t doing very much but they managed to keep Girona out, they just couldn’t hold up in the second half and 3 goals was just unexpected, thought the game was going to end with 2 goals but in the plus minutes, they had to ensure they made use of the red card advantage they got later on in the game.

I don’t sincerely expect or see Girona in front of Real Madrid. They might be doing so well but, so is Real Madrid and they remain the most reliable.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 26, 2024, 11:37:38 PM
In the game they had between Manchester United and Fulham, Manchester United was about to end the game with a 1-1 result, but Alex Iwobi the player of Fulham scored a goal in 90+7 minutes of the game and made Ten and his players to lose another game.
It was a Fulham dominated game and for Fulham not having to win or sharing points with Manchester United, that would have been playing into Ten Hag’s game plan judging by how the game carried. What was surprising though was how these two Nigerians Bassey and Iwobi won the game for Fulham, a team effort for sure but, both making out the goals.

In fact, we would not be wrong if we say that Newcastle could not show up in the match.
They didn’t. It was just Arsenal all over the place and you could imagine they needed a consolation goal to have the impression of them taking something out of the game or away from Arsenal. Not letting them have that clean sheet wasn’t the goal but, it’s what they’ve got have. A heaven defeat it was indeed.
384  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria board sprint on: February 26, 2024, 11:26:50 PM
Nigerians are very welcoming and impressive to new developments, we like the technology that we don’t have and do our best to be very much accustomed to it. With just about a handful of persons, the numbers is evident of the better days the forum is going to have from the Nigerians on this forum.
Just as the posts counts are up, so will the qualities that would be produced from time to time.

Although, I do hope we Nigerians don’t take this for a competition though, it’s not but rather a doing the necessities as your moves to write, discus the innovation of our time and home as it affects us.

I'm very sad to drop down to 4th place because of collecting very few points on the last two gw. Transferring KDB early cost me very much.
Some place I would rather wish to be, lol…

I already felt I had made a bad bad mistake with Watkins. Couldn’t stop beating myself after the Manchester City game where E. Haaland couldn’t get a goal. I literally had to do a H2H check on Manchester City games and Bournemouth to see what past fixtures had been like and it was filled with goals. This prompt me to switch my captaincy choice from Watkins to Haaland and he could score a single goal. Felt really bad but,

Jarrod Bowen did me good this time, a hat trick to push me to the top, that’s more than I would have hoped for. Need to break the top 10 once more.
386  Economy / Economics / Re: How can it be possible coping with one source of income on: February 23, 2024, 11:35:56 PM
I have been seeing some humans earning and paying bills with one source of income and I do ask myself how is it done

please your advice will be of help
I think the only thing that could stop you from having yo meet up your bills based on your finances is you!

Yeah, how much you earn might play a large role to that as, your single source of income could pay as much as 3 streams to other persons but still, to live okay, you need to be very precise and have a keen eye on your finances.

Inflation has become the other of the day and it’s rocking the economy of most nations and so, you have to be able to use scale of preference and decide on what is most necessary, a need from a want and what needs satisfying. It’s a teach yourself discipline and management to aid you survive. People do it and should you find yourself not meeting up with bills, you ought to practice some good management habits too.
387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can I do to be successful in trading with my small capital on: February 23, 2024, 11:26:32 PM
do i need to an expert in trading before someone will be successful.
Trading has come to be one of the most risky part of crypto investment, even when it comes to Fx, you get to find the same amount of risk and most of this is due to the fact that, its some quick way to make money and a lot of it at that if your good at the practice.
You’ve got ti be some true professional to have any hopes of getting profits in this filed. I don’t know how many people will tell you any difference because, many readers in their newbie days to the trade tends to have there capital always sucked up by the market, it’s just how it worked.
If you’re new to trading, you just might share in the same fate.
The best you could do with yourself is to learn and practice on a demo. That would give you the edge you need ti be successful when you go live.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too advanced to get into Bitcoin now? on: February 23, 2024, 11:16:33 PM
Theres always a time.
That was brief but, not the wrong answer by one bit.

When I hear people ask questions like these or feel it’s way too late, I do wish they can just recall that this a technology that is expected to be life long, all it’s coin haven’t been mined and it has been the base for the propagation of several other coins and project in the cryptospace.

Hence, when it comes to a person to wish to invest, it’s not late, 13years isn’t a far time in for a lifetime investment. The future of Bitcoin is still very far and it would amass itself a huge price to accommodates world population.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: February 23, 2024, 10:57:12 PM
In the end Walker and Van Dijk were my best DGW players and ones that propelled me up the ranks.

Insane when you think about it retroactively.
I'm still sure that picking defenders from Liverpool and City in DGW is a terrible choice, no matter that you're certain they will play for 90 minutes.
When I saw Trofo make that comment, I had to jump on his team and those guys were counting in their 20s. Although, their price isn’t what I would have liked to spend on defenders but, they did there bid in this round, for Trofo though.

With the bonus haven’t duly distributed, the points are way above 73 for an average and am below that. How is that not bad now. The catch up game just got longer and yeah Trofo, your surely settling it on the ladder, lol…

Well, Nunez and Jota are injured and KDB is a doubt. I have Palmer and Bell that have a blank GW, so I barely assembled 11 players with -4 penalty but have nobody from the bench to replace KDB in case he does not play.
I planned everything perfectly, this double GW with Salah as triple captain should have netted me 150 points. It will be a struggle now to make this a functional team yet again with so many injuries and without a WC.
More bad news for Nunez, I really shouldn’t have gone with my guts and rely on my skepticism for Nunez. The DGW pressure weighed so much. Would have been better with a good defense and Solanke having his spot.
390  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: February 22, 2024, 11:42:00 PM
That’s a pretty risky bet to take @OP, having to put out your last cash on a bet, that’s risky and I don’t think it was a best option. It might have paid off but, you have to keep in mind what would have become of you in the event that you didn’t win that bet. That counts for something you can’t afford and that makes it a bet you shouldn’t have taken but, it paid off, good for you.

Meanwhile, when it’s the last bucks you’ve got on your online account, it’s a different case. It’s a money already set aside for gambling and it would sure do just that. I’ve had luck with that a few times and at other times, I get to refund. It’s a normal circle I don’t shy away from it I must bet.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: February 22, 2024, 11:31:22 PM
So in the end, penalty shootout.
4 - 2
Rome succeeded

google
It was a close one between AS Roma and Fey. After having both their goals within the first 15minutes of the first half, there wasn’t any other goal produced in the whole game. Roma looked very threatening in the first half, I thought they would be able to take the lead at any minute in the second half but no, not much was given as Fey did well to put there defense line in check, making those interceptions and tackles just when it mattered to hold the game into the final whistle, extra time and a shout out.

The Hero in this game however was the goalkeeper. Having to save 2 consecutive penalties and had his hands on the third, that’s something I didn’t see coming and he made it look really simple.
Lukaku’s saved penalty was another surprise as well. He seemed to have got everything right, his footing, the pressure on the ball to deliver that shot and on target too but, the goalkeeper was there to deny him a goal.

Roma still managed to proceed to the next stage anyway, congrats to them.

There is always bound to be misunderstanding in a forum such as this, where just about everything is typed and depending on your understanding of punctuations, you just might not read it right as typed by who ever is making the comment and that alone is enough to create a misunderstanding or interpretation.

There isn’t something really wrong about that, it’s a discussion and there is room for clarification although, you don’t have to hurriedly jump to making a response or respond to every comment you see on your thread or forum.
You give room for contributions and you might have someone come in with just the right respond that could best what you might have had in your thoughts.
393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we contribute accross local boards? on: February 22, 2024, 11:11:52 PM
Are we permitted to engage and contribute across local boards?, I mean being a member of the Nigeria local board, can I contribute in India, German and other local boards?.
I know some of them are not using the same language as mine, but there are translators to the rescue. I still think there are valuable informations there that can be of good benefit to me and help me broaden my horizon

Thank you in advance for your more experienced feedbacks
There have been users and still are users that continues to contribute to several locale. There isn’t any rule to that, that restricts users from making contributions to a locale that they could understand. There are persons with dual nationality, there are those who simply can understand the language and there are those who are persistent travelers and so, have picked up interest in other cultures as it affects them. You don’t get to stop such persons from participating in a locale that they could relate.
You probably should so long as you ain’t just going about trying to translate posts just to ensure participation.
394  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bank in dollar is more safer than naira on: February 21, 2024, 11:52:28 PM
Fiat are fiat and they are not appreciative in design because of government manipulation to against inflation. Resulting to declination of fiat value. Dollar is better than naira. That is why you think you should save dollar in domiciliary account that it would be better. But why not go for an appreciative asset like bitcoin instead of depreciating fiat? We are still expecting all-time-high and six figures. Bitcoin would be better than saving fiat.
Of course Bitcoin would remain a wiser option especially with the halving almost at hand and the fact that, Bitcoin has been found to move towards a bullish trend in recent times. Having to invest in Bitcoin at this time, you tend to have a two directional increase in your asset if you’re able to hodl.

While the dollar value continues to increase, giving more value to what you’ve got as against Naira, you would as well find Bitcoin increasing in value as against dollar. That’s you having to profit from both ends in a one asset Bitcoin investment. It’s a more wise option than saving some dollar in a domiciliary account.

It’s not a wrong option I must say, hell no but, it’s not the best option as well. You could profit more should you know how to make some Bitcoin investment in this current dispensation.

Friends, I suggest we all get together and protest! Since Trofo, being a co-organizer of this pool, will soon award himself a free bet!  Grin

Ed: Oh.. it seems my provocation was unsuccessful as I see that another guy has become the leader of this game week.  Roll Eyes
Lol… he would have got his treat non the less and maybe, in successive times it’ll be put into consideration but, Brahim just wouldn’t let Trofo would he, lol… nice one guys, taking full advantage of the double game week and even having to put a triple captain up, that was bae.

Can’t say it’s been one of my best weeks having just 66points on my counts. Feels pretty normal to me and with it being the adverse point, it’s just bad.
I’ve always been Skelton Darwin and he did me once more. 5 points for a DG, I mean I took out Solanke for this guy and Solanke got 12 points for just a single game. It was a single game for Darwin no the less but, he was a bad, bad choice.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 21, 2024, 11:29:40 PM
I didn’t actually watch the Arsenal game as I wasn’t really disposed at the time but. How do you stay dominant in the game, judging by the statistics I can find on the game, Arsenal controlled the game in possession but, they couldn’t even manage a single shot on target. I mean, what are we saying here. How could you hope to win when you aren’t even getting a shot across goal. It was extremely poor performance for me even though, this is just me speaking from statistics.
They deserve this loss and by the time the goal came in the plus minutes, there was absolutely nothing that could have been changed about that.
It’s the first leg of the round of 16 for them, maybe they would have a chance when Porto Fc comes visiting but, it was such a lost advantage for Arsenal this evening.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 21, 2024, 11:18:04 PM
I would have said it isn’t possible a few months ago, but this latest rise puts an all time high at any moment on the table. Even when Bitcoin was hitting it’s all time high last time there was virtually no stoppage between $69K and $50K. I can’t say when the move for the all time high will happen, but I know that when it does it will be quick.
It’s not surprising that Bitcoin is doing these numbers despite the hike in the price. It’s likely what you find when the network gets a wide adoption like it’s gotten now compared to the halving before now and some years back. People no longer want to just wait or allow their skepticism get the best of them and they loose out.

2months is such a long time if we compare that with what Bitcoin is doing now. There would be some bearish movements as we could see it to have dropped a little today so yeah, some bearish moves would be observed later on but, there is a greater possibility of Bitcoin breaking its current ATH before the halving.
398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start preparing for the next bear run. on: February 21, 2024, 10:48:54 PM
From my little experience with the Bitcoin Investment system, the best time to buy the coin if you are targeting to make a profit in the bull run is during the bear run. The price is cheaper and you can make a good profit within the four-year circle. At this period you don't need to rush to buy because of FOMO but you can comfortably buy at your own pace using the DCA or other strategy that suits you.

My advice is that as you are targeting to sell your coins and make a profit also start planning for accumulation.
When you’re investing in the short term, it feels like the right way to do it since. You would be seeing your coin sooner to get the profits from it. You don’t even get to wait on the coin to dip as you ain’t in it for the wait, you buy as it’s rising and there you could wait on it to break or create that ATH and then you sell to get the profits from it. Waiting for a while circle would mean you having to wait on yet another bear market and that wouldn’t be idea for investing on a short term.
Yo successfully invest using this strategy, you need to be some experienced fellow who’s got a good knowledge of the market and many people aren’t.

That’s why, it makes a lot of sense to be a hodler. You just need to be disciplined enough to consistently invest when you’ve got funds and the patience to wait on it.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: February 20, 2024, 11:58:53 PM
I think it is one of the necessary step for Governments and these organisations who start working for sake of gambling addicted people as well as encourage themselves to become responsible gambler. But things won't be so easy cause once after a person become a addicted in gambling it is very hard to get rid of it. And I've seen many Gamblers who have destroyed his life and his Carrier as well as his family because of gambling. I think gamblers shouldn't always mad at making money. It should think everything with cool mind and yeah self-exclusion could be best option in my option
I don’t quite see where the government come in when it comes to gambling and addiction. I think it’s about a personal choice to a gambler. When one gets to cultivate a habit that isn’t being very helpful to him or her, the individual gets to make that deduction or conclusion and seek steps for his or her salvation. Even though the individual tends not to notice, am sure he’s got to have that friend or family member or perhaps someone that has been observing him to at some point relay to him or her what is observed to be going on in his or her life for a change.

Government don’t get to look up every citizen or gambler neither will mandating the gambling house have much effects. They are in this for the money and an addict would hardly accept the obvious situation when presented to. Besides, you don’t get to stop them from playing after they’ve made some losses but still have funds to continue.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is my plan. on: February 20, 2024, 11:53:28 PM
Yes exactly, with the DCAing method you can start from investing a smaller amount then you keep on maintaining the standard amount and sooner you might get another opportunity which might make you increasingly increase the amount which you allocated to your investment (from investing $15 to investing $20 or $30 in Bitcoin) and other things are it doesn't matter how much you put monthly what matter is how consistent you keep on buying. When you bitcoin of $30 every month a year is =$360 and during the year there might be a month when you will allocate more than $30 that's  why you have to keep on buying so you can meet up.
DCA helps you to be more realistic than being more speculative. You don’t get to wait on a right time or even need to look at the charts to get an over view of what is been done or what your to expect of the market. You simply set your limit price and the volume you which to buy in BTC or it’s USDT or equivalent in whatever coin you’ve got values in, that’s in the event you ain’t buying with your credit card, Bitcoin ATM and whatever means available to you.

It’s more of a safe means for someone who isn’t entirely sure on what to do or how to approach the market and even still, those whom are sure but just can’t take a pause on building their portfolio. You always get there eventually and that’s a fact.
