I'm working on assembling a team of coders so we are not just a one man operation. I have been able to network with my endeavors so we should have a strong base.
The main project as of now is to go over the source i have received. I will update progress on this in the near future.
If all goes well we will be on track to have things ready for Monday.

I like the overall vibe of the thread. It looks organized, someone with know how seems to be stepping up and morale is still high. Awesome... I'll be looking forward to what happens as I haven't sold a single one. In fact, I am still reeling from the panic buy at .0002...so I am going to go focus on something else for awhile and keep from thinking about the DRK I sold for DRM. True story. This dev made me sell 5800 DRM at 1100 sat, after I bought them at 11.500, sadly I'm broke, good luck.
For clarification, by this dev you mean "dreamcoin" and not johnny. I know this from being on the forums, but people new to the thread may not know that. And I'm sorry that you lost everything. If we do start to take off and recover, I'll gladly shoot some DRM your way so you have something at least. |

Looks like someone is paying attention to this thread. Everything on the sell side (on Poloniex) was bought out up to 5.6K. Someone's hedging their bets.
Honestly I probably would have done it myself if I didn't already have like 25k.

I have bought us a new domain http://dreamcoin.fiand will have the ftp pw hopefully by tomorrow from the service provider. I will build us a simple www site to get started wow, this is like CHINA SPEED...  bravo... one more thing, as i look through the thread and watch people talk,,, i figure JOHNNY is a mature guy with some leadership. i agree with him abt the deadline for the kiddo dev. no matter how he sucks, how we dislike him,, he deserves some margin
due to the respect that he brought up this coin.I kind of disagree about giving the kid respect. DRM was his third coin. He already turned his back on the first 2. This one was just a money making ploy for him....after all he bragged about the easy money he made (3 BTC), and said he would pass on his knowledge to any others that wanted to make fast money as long as they paid for his know how....basically saying that anyone that invests in alts is gullible and easy to scam on (my interpretation). But we do have a more positive vibe here already, and I'm done talking about the past. We are moving forward, and I already like the new team. No matter what happens, you won't hear me bad-mouth the new devoted guys. |

I then declare a deadline of Monday May 26th 2014 to relaunch I will be building a new team please pm me if you have any skills that will be helpful.
Also as far as zerocoin is concerned that will take time. as that is beyond my capabilities. However I / WE will tentatively be looking into it or similar technology in the future. Now the most important part is maintaining the vitality and growth of the coin. As in merchants and our core platforms. We will need to get a new blockexplorer and website up and i still need source code for the github. I do hope Carsen comes through.

I think getting any information from that scammer of a dev is out of the question. I believe nfox said he had the source code (back on page 1 of this thread). He will be your best bet, so PM him. I already have just waiting for a response. I hate to think you're right but my gut is telling me not to hold my breath as well. However I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and hopefully we are not pushed back spaces in the zerocoin field as well as other pieces of the greater picture So is the MOnday May 26th deadline, a deadline you are giving to hear back from the original Dev? If you don't hear back from him are we moving forward with the new dev team? Thanks again for your help in trying to rebuild DRM. |

And another thing as far as the poll goes. If the original dev was to stay on as part of the team, I'd be 100% done with DRM. That scumbag can eat a bowl of dick.

No one is taking over this coin. I am the developer and I always will be unless someone wants to partner with me. I am really sick of reading posts about community takeover.
Maybe a partnering wouldn't be such a bad thing. Could get you the additional help you need plus additional help addressing concerns in this thread and other forums. Sounds like there are a few devs interested. |

Where is the promised Dream Pool? Yes the multipool should be up today, hit up icecube48 in the IRC, he is the developer for it. Hopefully he comes through! i guess dev isn't sure either. i shall wait... Dev is no longer involved, so right now we're looking for a new one.. I got some coding experience, currently studying the code, so probably in some days if nodoby will jump in, I'll apply for this job, full time. Thanks for looking into it! This is a good coin to take over. Dedicated forum members and some solid member backing. I hope you do....honestly. |
