381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it letting the bank know that you are a BTC Investor? on: February 22, 2024, 02:17:11 AM
OP, it is normal that the bank would ask you questions about your finances, as they have a questionnaire to fill out, which they would add to your file. They must do so and would need you to cooperate with them while filling it out. It is part of their duty, and they have been trained to do so.

I would say that what you did by revealing your source of income to them was not safe. You, in person, do not know who the customer care representative is, nor do you have any relationship with them. You could have just schemed
something for them to divert their attention. You went too far. Do you know that your account is currently under observation by the bank and government agencies? These are the things one would need to know before encountering such an event next time.

You undermined your safety here. while answering that question in the bank I believe you had no idea who was listening to your conversation, taking a record of you, and possibly thinking of what to do, which you might have no idea about. You need to be security-conscious next time, as you have said.
382  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: February 21, 2024, 10:25:29 PM
I know nothing about drugs but I could imagine how it could be because if you have watched movies of those nature, then you would understand how it is. You have done well advising your friend to do away with drug while gambling because it is not ideal at that state of mind gambling. It is just like one sleeping and eating and you know sometimes while doing that you might mistaken your nose for your mouth and put the food you are eating at the wrong location that is how it is when you are drunk as well. I was just imagining it and how the the results of what ever one is doing under the influence of drug could be. One could make series of mistakes if they are intoxicated while gambling and just as you have said that he has recorded series of loses which I believe is true. You can not change him. He has to do the needful by examining himself very well to know the loses and benefits as a result of his behaviour then he would know the next step to take but you should also make yourself available to guide him through when he has made up his mind to do so.
Weldone OP, I commend your efforts in trying to help your friend. You are really a good friend indeed.
383  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: OKX Exchange Verification Update. on: February 21, 2024, 08:36:58 PM
Does this implies to all users or only those that participated for an airdrop reward or what?
Although I can't recall if I have made account there before maybe I have to search through my mails to know if have already created an account over there. Sometimes the way these exchange operates it's a bit tiring why would they want to impose kyc on their users, does it mean if I create an account over there and refused to make used of it would they force me to come make kyc or they will block my account.

I think this possibly applies to all Nigerians on their platform because if you read the content of the message you will notice that they made a comment which is in compliance to the local laws of the land which invariably means that Nigerians registered with okx exchange must undergo or update their identity verification within the stipulated time given otherwise they face the risks of losing everything they have with them.

If you are not an active user of the platform and you have nothing with them, you should not bother about it as you have nothing to lose but if you have token or coin with then, I would advise you do your KYC so as to claim or retain your coin.

I think this is not fair they should allow their customers carry's out their kyc when they are in need of it not by imposing it on them to come do kyc. Then lastly, na so our country tins dey be for us any small opportunity wey people wan carry survive dem go wan use their own take block am for the poor masses why because dem no wan people survive at all, this con make me tire for 9ja tins bicus dem always look for wetin to carry suffocate their citizens.

Possibly since it is inline with the local laws as they have said, maybe the government must have written to them to conduct the exercise on all Nigerians registered on their platform which they would need to comply so as to avoid any further issues with the government. The best thing to do is just to avoid them if you feel you are not interested in their services. But anyhow them do, there is always an alternative and that is plan B for real.
384  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking Experienced Gambling Industry Advisors/Players for Campaigns on: February 21, 2024, 05:49:28 PM
Your offer is quite elaborate and self explanatory to begin with. I think when it comes to advertising, there are lots of reputable managers here which you can contact to assist you like; CryptopreneurBrainboss, AB de Royse777, Julerz12, Icopress, Hhampuz and lots of them too numerous to mention here. I think they could assist you in a good advertising campaign management if you don't mind contacting them for your offer.. I believe they would give you guidelines on as the are very vast in the management of casinos campaigns and lots more. You can as well reach out to efialtis as earlier advised to help you with ideas from his experience as it relates to casinos and management.
385  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bank in dollar is more safer than naira on: February 21, 2024, 05:25:25 PM
It is obvious now that the naira is in a free fall state and has no support or anything to back it up. Our government is bereft of ideas to sustain the economy.  The price of goods and commodities are on the rise owing to the fact that the naira is devaluing. At this point, people who are well schooled, learned and exposed would always opt for options to secure their assets and funds from depreciating. Every right thinking individual would always make a fast move to secure their assets and finance from loosing value and as such, some would go for dollar hodling against the naira so they could get more profit as the case may be. In times like this, people would prefer Savings or holding in dollars to avoid losing assets values. I have no doubt that our leaders re doing this as well.
386  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: It's over 4 months and you no wan leave? on: February 21, 2024, 05:03:20 PM
Things dey really happen for this country. People are really going through lots of experience now so any where them see comfort, that is where they will hide their head for the time being just to survive. My brother I understand say currently things are really going haywire and for the fact that you are one of them hence their comfort in staying with you which you would not blame them.  I will advise you discuss with your aunt to sought things out so as to avoid having misunderstanding with her and this should be done very fast so it doesn't result to something else in the future.
387  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / OKX Exchange Verification Update. on: February 21, 2024, 04:44:59 PM

Fellow countrymen and women I bring you update with respect to the okx exchange verification exercise. If you have an account with okx exchange kindly do well to go conclude your verification exercise otherwise after seven days as automated by the okx management without you concluding your verification exercise, your account would be suspended as any token present in your account would be seized by the okx exchange. I believe majority of us here did the avive mining and airdrop of which we have linked our various accounts and have started receiving or coin on okx exchange. So therefore I will urge us to look into this and give it the utmost attention it deserves so you do not get your account restricted as you do not know what the coin in your exchange wallet holds tomorrow for you.

Lastly, something caught my attention while reading through the mail. I got to a particular sentence which states local laws. I remember vividly clear early this year or so when placed emphasis on the Nigeria government possibly engaging with all the Crypto exchange which Nigerians are likely patronising possibly demanding for KYC details to get records of Crypto transactions for further actions or engagements and here it I playing. Who knows what the government is up to this time around. There is every possibility that the government is doing this to start taxing crypto transactions. Onset from the very first day the federal government lifted ban on Bitcoin transaction, I knew they were up to something this time around and gradually it has started unveiling itself. Let us watch and see how it goes.
388  Economy / Gambling / Re: kekw.bet - No KYC No sign up Prediction market gambling on: February 21, 2024, 04:17:57 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk platform. I see you will have to do a good work on your announcement thread as it does not connote any signs of professionalism. Just as you have already been advised, you will have to do the need because first approach matters here as that would be the face you get from members here.
Lastly, I visited your website and discovered that you only focused on accepting other coin leaving Bitcoin out of your plans. Well I would like you to know that majority of the gamblers here mostly prefer to use Bitcoin so in that case if you can, do well to include Bitcoin in your list of acceptable currencies for payment otherwise you would likely lose out as members would likely not think of your project or casino because nobody wants to waste their time these days.
389  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you feel excited while gambling on: February 21, 2024, 01:18:27 PM
This is a very good point you have raised OP. Most times, my friend do complains to me about something of this nature and the  experience  sometimes is just not worth it. He tells me sometimes he  begin to feel that he waste his time, energy and Money just to gamble and in some cases, he feels luck is something one should appeal to work in their favour before they win but I had to tell him that it is not as he thinks but however he has to follow the basic gambling principles so as not to get worried wether he wins or not. I advised him to see gambling as a thing of fun and do away with the reasoning of gambling to earn or make profit. It is true that in such case, one would like to win a game but in gambling, it is not so you either have your budget for gambling, gamble with the mindset of having fun and forget about the rest so that you do not get worried about winning and how much you have spent in the course of gambling.

I guess you should see it that way too so that you do not get yourself too worried about you winning a gamble or not. Just see it as fun and also gamble with funds you can afford to lose or make a budget for your gambling. I believe this settles it.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Couple won the jackpot but split soon after! on: February 21, 2024, 12:55:58 PM
I was wondering if they are truly in love with each other because if they do, money can not separate both of them just like that. This is why it is advised you marry who you Love so that nothing can come in between you and your partner no matter what happens, there would always be a peaceful resolve amongst both partners as long as they love each other.

This victory should be a thing worth the celebration for the couple's as far as it is concerned with victory. This should be a thing of joy for both of them as the money involved is worth it. In my country, that amount of money is so much big that you can live a luxurious life with investment scattered throughout while you relax and make your money as an your investment does the work for you. This should have been a merry moment for this coup but it has gone south for them.

Possibly, what must have caused this issue is as a result of one's input being bigger than the other which they might likely be having misunderstanding in the sharing formula and as such resulted to their splitting but that aside, there are possibly some issues which they must have been going through and have failed to address it properly before the win. Sometimes things just happens this way and both of them should accept it in fate and move on as they are likely not meant for each other.
391  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Club Botev Plovdid on: February 21, 2024, 12:26:24 PM
This is interesting. Bulgaria is a nation that is trying their best to see how they could adopt Bitcoin irrespective of the fact that their haven't made any statement as to their adoption of Bitcoin neither have they placed any restriction on Bitcoin adoption in their country but however, her citizens are very much enthusiastic about Bitcoin and are really doing the needful for themselves by accepting Bitcoin as a means of exchange for goods and services as the cases may be.
This singular act by the football club shows so much love for Bitcoin and I wish other big clubs all round the world in Crypto friendly nations could follow their steps to accepting Bitcoin for tickets and other activities which involves payment in the club be done in bitcoin. It would trigger a spike in bitcoin usage in their various countries and likewise their fan support base globally would also pick interest in it.
392  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] TrustDice.win | #1 Rated Crypto Casino | Signature Campaign ~Full Member+ on: February 20, 2024, 12:04:02 PM
As expected, I have received the funds for this campaign and we are back in action!

If you were a part of it, you can add the signature and avatar back and you'll be back in the campaign. I'll change the dates for us due to this small hiccup so from now on we'll run from Sundays > Mondays, payments going on Mondays and as always according to my timezone (CET). If you do not wish to get back in this campaign please let me know so that I can accept new applications.

This is a good news. I knew they would get back to you Sir Hhampuz. You are a good manager and as a matter of fact, your managerial skills have been of utmost importance and benefit to the trustdice casino and team at large.  Congratulations to all the trustdice casino campaign participants.
393  Economy / Gambling / Re: Withdraw ''instant'' isue on Freebitco.in on: February 19, 2024, 10:59:24 PM
OP I will advise you to be patient with them. Maybe they are processing your payment as per your request. You know sometimes casinos would state in their terms and conditions of service the due time for withdrawal which you will have to consent before registering and sometimes, they conduct verification on accounts if they think the account exhibited some suspicious activities so that they do not go against the their policy.

I will advise you pm their representative as you have already been told so as to get further information on happenings and update surrounding your case.
394  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for 3D modeler on: February 19, 2024, 08:27:51 PM
Hello, I need a 3D modeler to create a 3D model of a character. You will have photos and videos to copy it. It's nothing very complex or extremely detailed, I need this modeling to be able to print it on a 3D printer.

please PM for more details.

If you can, putting it up here for a contest might go well as you would likely get more options to choose from the best designs that would be presented here. There are lots of good designers here who can do that for you and also avail you the the opportunity to actually know more designers on my the platform.

To make it easier you can just edit this thread and put up a contest making it clear to every contestants the rewards and timeline to finish and submit it for you to choose the best and rewards their efforts.
395  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to doa KYC service on a telegram bot for me PAYING BTC on: February 19, 2024, 03:06:23 PM
I want to ask you this question, can you be trusted to get someone's details for KYC and also can you trust that same person to give them your handle details to do the KYC for you?

It is very difficult these days to see such happens though but there are some people who still do pay for KYC but what are your motives behind you paying someone who would do KYC for you or are there no other options available for you to use?  But I am curious about your reputation here if you registered here for quite a long time and have only made 4 posts for that number of years, and you are coming up with this offer without any details about the can desr do purpose of them I will assure you that your jobs will be alright to start of theu are genuine a powers.

397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you beleive in the concept of "Luck"? on: February 18, 2024, 01:13:57 PM
I am meant to understand that luck is divine. People do believe  that they are lucky and it works for them. For me, I see luck as favour. Being favoured is likewise you  being lucky.
People tend to have that lucky star when it comes to winning coupled with their skills advantage to which they have took years to build. It is just a kind of you preparing yourself for the time ahead waiting for the opportunity to avail itself for your luck to take advantage of and shine. I have many friends who luck dawned on in the crypto space and they had the trading skills and when ever they go into trading, they are just lucky to get the right coin and also in gambling as well. Although we not gamble much but when we do, it works out perfectly well for us and it has been fun all the time.
398  Economy / Services / Re: [HOLD] TrustDice.win | #1 Rated Crypto Casino | Signature Campaign ~Full Member+ on: February 16, 2024, 11:35:24 PM
Round 90 Payments have been sent out!

Thank you all for yet another great week!

Unfortunately I've been unable to get a hold of either of my contacts at TrustDice so I'm paying this week out of pocket and will put this campaign on HOLD until they get back online. You can remove your Signatures and Avatars for the time being.

You are a great manager. I applaud your efforts in sustaining this campaign to their 90th week of operations here on Bitcointalk platform. This speaks of great volume of your services here and I know for sure the trust dice casino have benefited hugely from your management services. I believe they would come back to continue their campaign under your management Sir.
399  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK SHADY/SCAMMY BEHAVIOUR. WATCH OUT GUYS on: February 16, 2024, 11:25:20 PM
OP, I would say that as a casino under regulations, there must have been update and upgrade in their policies which would warrant them to do the needful since they are under a body that issues them licence to operate. They are just doing this to be sure that your details are still the same as it is before if you really did KYC then when you first opened an account with them.

This issue of free bonus from casino is becoming a norm now as they are using it as a bait to get at gamblers who  possibly have long abandoned their accounts to reactivate it and after which they must have made deposit played and win, upon withdrawal they will ask you to do KYC or wager before you could be able to make withdrawal. This has been the issues with casinos as they trick people with so much bonuses to get at them.

Lastly, looking at the nature of this thread it looks more of an accusation which I think should be at the reputation board because this has to do with the reputation of the casino and as a matter of fact, the representative of the casino would be needed for further explanations.
400  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Duelbits.com | Signature Campaign ~ Full Members+ | Up to $70/Week on: February 15, 2024, 02:14:12 PM
I want to change the old address and use the new address due to the update of the wallet address of the exchange.

New address: bc1qd3wcc0488tuc8ukqa3ac4ay332u9hyy0xggcdj

Note: Last week's payment went to my old address, is it possible to get it back?

If your last payment went to your old wallet address and it belongs to an exchange them you will have to contact the customer care of the exchange to help you sort it out as you had no idea there was changes otherwise I do not think sir Hhampuz can do anything about it because that was the wallet you presented for payment which he has already done his part by making payment as required of him.
You can contact your exchange to help you retrieve your payment as they've full custody of the wallet keys they could help you out.
