382  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 20, 2024, 08:51:35 PM
So far I also have the same belief regarding this possibility, it's just that we can't confirm it yet. Regarding possibilities, anything is possible and will happen because the crypto market is uncontrolled and does not have to be the same as what happened before. If a new ATH hit before the halving, then this will be a new history for bitcoin so predicting its price between cycles becomes increasingly difficult.

If I had the option, then I am more confident that a new ATH will occur after the halving. The price has crossed $52k and may continue to test new resistance above, but that is unlikely to happen if bitcoin demand ahead of the halving does not increase rapidly. Currently the demand for bitcoin has increased, but to match the previous price record we have to get more big investors in the market.
A significant increase can be seen currently, Bitcoin even reached a price of $52,400 currently and this will continue as demand increases. The halving will occur in a few months and this will be the point where Bitcoin prices will continue to strengthen. But you have to be alert because corrections will definitely happen and don't panic when the correction comes.

I have been suprised at the speed that Bitcoin has been surging through out this year and believe me if the speed continues like this, we can definitely get a match up with the previous ATH this year but am doubtful though because of the past history of how the movement of the price has been but there is still this fact that anything can happen since it's the crypto space and seeing another trend movement won't be of any surprise to me.
383  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The increase of altcoins on: February 20, 2024, 08:43:58 PM
Altcoins can be a little bit misleading especially for investors who are new to the game and it's always advisable newly investors should focus on bitcoin first. As a new investor there's no point bothering yourself with newly tokens you barely know about. In terms of choosing an altcoin that has potential is also a difficult one and it's either you go for bitcoin, ethereum or other trusted coins, we also have newly altcoins pumping in the market and some might serve as a ponzi scheme while some are genuine newly projects so when going for altcoins your choice determines if you will make profit or not.
It can be more confusing especially during this bull season that everything seems to be going upwards and this is the reason so many investors both veterans and newbie might fall under this trap that's comes with altcoins although the facts can't be taken away that some altcoins do give righ profitable returns but the risk involved is just something that one needs to be watchful of. I seldom have the taught of actually buying some altcoins myself and if I ever come to a decision the supposed coins will most likely be an altcoins with past reputation like ETH.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 20, 2024, 08:36:52 PM
Yes, Manchester City are in the 3rd position of the Premier League table with an outstanding match, which they will play against Brentford today. If Manchester City wins against Brentford tonight, Manchester City will overtake Arsenal in the Premier League table and enter the 2nd position.
The match has started, but it’s not an easy one for the two clubs. Both Manchester City and Brentford already have a nice opportunity. Manchester City are currently finding it difficult to break Brentford's defense, Brentford's defense is just too tight, but Manchester City is not a club that any club is supposed to be playing a defensive game with when they are not winning yet. Manchester City have a dangerous striker, which they will end up finding their way to break their opponents  defense. We are just in the first half of the match, but am sure Manchester City will do everything possible to win the match.
Well I didn't expect a draw in the first half of play but it seems Brentford have also had their fair share of involvement and chances also in the game. But I think the second half should be the done deal for Manchester City or Brentford because as the game tempo stands the both team anyone can win the game and I expect Manchester city to win but you know football anything can happen.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 05:17:39 PM
I was discussing with a friend yesterday about the choice of Casinos and the great incentives that comes with trying out these new legitimate platforms. He told me bluntly that he doesn't try out new platforms because  it will make him gamble more and will waste his time trying to understand their UI, terms and conditions and their support system. He stressed that he has already developed fondness with a few sites that treats him fine and he even has their support hot lines in case of any issues.
I challenged him that there were exciting offers in these new casinos that he's missing out on but he stressed that he was not interested in their offers, he has already built his gambling life around these few casinos and until they disappoint him, he's sold out to them.

what do you think?. Do you believe he is right with the rigid approach to gambling?,  also should I continue convincing him  to try out something new and enjoy these great offers?.
Well I wouldn't see any reason for him not to say that because this gambling habit is totally dependant on where you actually derive joy from and also the one that best suits you and I like to think that some gambler go extra miles in Believing that some specific casino that they are found of are more luck bound than others and although that's base on superstitious believe but you wouldn't blame anyone for thinking such because some casino can get really frustrating playing on them when all the results to tied to the gambler experience loses.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well Prepared For the Bull Market And So Far In Bitcoin Investment. on: February 17, 2024, 05:09:46 PM
Wow! I must say I really envy you and not in a bad way though but in a good way because this is exactly what I have intended in doing although am a little slow in the buying aspect and I must say sometimes the price also scares me because its almost as if someone starts buying again the price won't go higher and I think many newbie are also on this particular thought but as it seems Bitcoin is actually heading for massive bull run and 51k that the price is now is just a stepping stone so I will also encourage myself and everyone who dreams of accumulating such to forget about the price now and start buying and again congrats to you on your holdings and being back to continue your journey.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between afford to lose and can't afford to lose. on: February 16, 2024, 11:52:41 PM
However, many people would say even if you have jobs but you are staking higher it also means you are gambling with what you can not afford to lose. Moreover it's true and I have to dauth but I have a feeling that ones someone that have a good paying job is staking more than what he can afford to lose, there is no different between addiction there.

There's no exact figure of what amount we afford to lose. Even if we set an amount, we will always try to breach it.

What we need to practice is, being responsible at all times regardless of the amount we are currently staking it.

In other words, learn how to take a break in gambling, or else, something worst will happened instead.
Yeah that's true because it takes only a split second to actually change your mind to either fund your account to bet because they are times when we even break that fixed amount but if you are mentality and emotional stable to your decision then it won't be any problem at all for you to help yourself because compulsive reasoning to wether to continue with gambling when funds is exhausted is definitely unhealthy and can definitely destroy many things for you.
388  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: The cause of inflation on: February 16, 2024, 08:54:26 PM
Many of us thinks the rise of inflation and the weakness of the naira currency is because of the new government we have in the country.  Before now a state governor was complaining about how the past government was printing of money, and many people thought it was just propaganda which they took it very lightly.  The hardships and the high inflation rate we are seeing today is as a result of printing money that has been taking place longtime ago.

The cause of the inflation is nothing but as a result of printing money that is naira is losing value constantly everyday. The economy has never been bad like this, we are facing the consequences of wrong economy doings.
The funny thing is that the government sef dem know these things because you no fit tell me say a whole economist and financial head of the country like Nigeria no suppose know how money value dey work ? But instead they choose to make it beneficial to themselves and forget about we wey be the masses and leave the country to be in a situation that has gone beyond repair and I know this is even the beginning because we are getting to a even more worse state than this.
389  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Hold your dollar tight on: February 16, 2024, 08:48:00 PM
Good morning my country people, see eh this country wey we dy so, the way things dy go on a daily basis, abeg if you get dollar or Bitcoin hold am tight, because the way I dy see this our currency now, by December 1 dollar fit reach 3 to 4k, see all those people wey been buy dollar at the rate of 750 naira, right now them don make more than their capitals by just holding.

Even Bitcoin too, na the same pattern both of them dy follow, even though say Bitcoin dy more lucrative on the long run, just imagine those people wey don dy do DCA method since last year, how their account go dy swell by now, so my brothers hold your dollar and Bitcoin tight, because as e be so, you go just dy make money through it by just holding.
This na the plan ever since and na why many people still dey continue with their purchase even till now because as e be now the profits wey you fit get through Bitcoin and USD investment is wey bigger because just imagine which year wey Bitcoin price was just 19k and now the thing don Swell to even x2 going to three of the actual price as of last two years being 2022.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between afford to lose and can't afford to lose. on: February 16, 2024, 08:43:45 PM
Any responsible adult should know the difference between what they can and can’t afford to lose when gambling. It isn’t difficult to set a budget, I understand some people can go too far but you have to have conviction in managing your own gambling risk.

Most reputable casinos and sportsbooks promote responsible gambling but really, you have to take control yourself. You can not blame anybody else for your gambling failures
It's actually a default settings in the minds of most humans to mismanage funds and that's why majority of gamblers fall into this category. Planning and managing your funds is a responsibility that only you do and failure to do so is solely dependent on your management skills.
Most people lack discipline and that's the result to all the blame on their gambling failure, the key to all this is to have a strong and discipline mind to keep up with your decisions to avoid any unnecessary regrets.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 16, 2024, 08:32:02 PM
It does not care whether a gambler is novice or experienced in gambling. In many cases, whether the gambler is an adult or a minor is also neglected. Because money is always given priority in gambling platforms. If any gambling platform give various restrictions, in reality there is not much implementation of such rules. Men or women of any age can gamble. A minor is allowed gambling whether online platform or physical casino. However, online gambling is not as easy as casino gambling. In countries where 18 is recognized as an adult, 18+ can gamble freely.
A country where gambling is not prohibited, everyone can gamble freely so far as they meet the legal age but although sometimes its quite different with online casino because a gambler can actually fake the age especially if he or she is underage and is exposed to the act because the casino can never tell it and I have also seen many cases of such where the gambler uses fake details for KYC verification so to get access to gamble and withdraw safely online.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 16, 2024, 07:51:21 PM
It's really crazy seeing how the odd difference is between Manchester city and Chelsea this weekend. Manchester city has a very low odd of 1.32 and Chelsea has a staggering 7 odd which for me is really outrageous because Chelsea aren't good but I think Manchester city really found it difficult to win them at their last meeting although at that time Kevin de byrune wasn't available unlike now that he is back.

I think even the fans of Chelsea don't expect to see their team winning the game against Manchester City, because recently Manchester City got better and they are having a much better performance than before especially after Kevin De Brunye got recovered and backed to the field to help his team. That's why maybe this can be a completely safe to bet on Manchester City for this match.

Of course, fans always hope that their favorite team wins the match, no fan hopes to lose. Yes, even though statistically there is quite a contrast between Chelsea and Man City, this depends on Pochettino's strategy to always take advantage of the smallest opportunities possible to convert them into goals. Historically, these two teams are big teams that have a good history, but for now we should wait and see whether Man City succeeds in upsetting Chelsea or vice versa.

Common man with the full squad of Manchester city back, I don't think Chelsea actually stands a chance to get a win over Manchester city atleast the best that can happen in favor of Chelsea would be a draw and that's if de byrune fails to make Harland find the net because I know for sure that if Kevin plays that game Chelsea are totally done for it.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 15, 2024, 10:48:18 PM
Currently there is widespread news that the impact of gambling can lead to domestic violence, for example a husband has the heart to beat his wife and children because they ran out of money to gamble, the wife asks for money to shop but is scolded and even beaten, while the children ask for money for money. Even though there were snacks at school, the child was scolded until he was not given money and what was worse was that the husband sold the goods at home because he didn't have any more money to gamble so he could gamble. Again. How concerned people are who experience bad things like that. It is true that the impact of gambling can make a person's life miserable and miserable.

For this cases I have seen more than enough to know that this particular matter is one that is on-going and is really hard to stop because addiction affects the minds of the gambler and that's what makes them behave the way they  do because every little thing agitates them. The way an addicted person misbehave is something that is surprising because they tend to forget everything about their domestic household and sometimes even their children and spouse too and the violence really never stops until they get the help they need.

395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 14, 2024, 08:56:00 PM
Although Manchester United and Chelsea are both NOT in their best form but still, the fact is that Manchester United still has better results compared to Chelsea. Because anyway, at least Manchester United can still compete in the top six, while about Chelsea this season only strives to be in the top 10. Because anyway, sometimes Chelsea also dropped to 11th place and yes, because Chelsea does not have a stable performance then anyway, the fact is that Chelsea is currently still in 10th place despite the previous match Chelsea managed big win against Crystal Palace. So yes, the big win against Crystal Palace for me was nothing impressive at all because anyway, the reality is that Chelsea are still in the middle of the table and unable to climb higher in the table at the moment.
EPL clubs are struggling, and only the best squad can achieve their goals this season. The form of these great teams is inconsequential because the best team always comes up with strategized specifics of successful wins. Manchester United and Chelsea won their previous matches over the weekend; they have improved their performance and are aiming for the greatest outcomes. Comparing Manchester United and Chelsea is completely out of proportion. The differences are already clear since these clubs have goals and are working hard to achieve them.
There is no need for comparison here because the two teams involved are far beyond their playing  capability and performance so their is still so much room for improvement, I know that the two teams won their last game but that doesn't mean one can be so sure about their next performance because these teams operates like light switch and that's also the cause to this season poor performance.
396  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The impact of Bitcoin on the. Global economy at large on: February 14, 2024, 08:51:34 PM
Bitcoin has left it's mark on the global economy and it is definitely a game changer in the financial market
It is changing the worlds economy in many ways. As a result of this upgrade it has made money making fair and accessible to everyone
Some countries are encouraging their citizens to use Bitcoin because they know it's now a bigger part of the worlds economy
The value of Bitcoin goes up and down a lot and they are those in different sectors in the financial market that benefits from this when it's unstable, but it doesn't favour some people running specific businesses
If Bitcoin is more stable it will be easier to use,  the question is , will this ever happen?
Ma guy volatility na one of the reason why Bitcoin itself sef dey this popular because the particular feature dey allow people to use am an investment and na dat one nai make people come like Bitcoin pass any other coins. When the price drop sef na advantage for person and even the price high sef na still advantage so I think nobody dey even pray make Bitcoin even dey stable rather even more unstable so that people go enjoy the benefits of getting rich by investing in Bitcoin overtime.
397  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: February 14, 2024, 08:46:59 PM
Love your transparent, detailed and thorough gameplay feedback, Betwrong. It really helps prospective players and I know Karl appreciates it.

Player feedback is always super welcome in the thread. I urge more people to come forward and show us your experiences.

I have being seeing testimonies of this casino and it really amaze me how users win a lot here 😁😁, it's almost as if the casino has some kind of lucky charm, although I do my gambling on ROLLBIT as I am currently promoting their service which the casino is excellent in it's use too but i think having more than one casino casino account isn't a any crime so with that note I am running off to go create account now and maybe I might be lucky like one these guys in this thread.
398  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: February 14, 2024, 06:49:10 PM
I don't know much about those sponsored people but I think I have seen some social media guys to win huge jackpots and you may be right about those.

Do you mean that the people who bet big on bc.game's house edge games are people sponsored by the casino?

At first I never thought about it like that, but after reading your post maybe it could happen. Moreover, seeing the game crash, quite a lot of users bet more than $1000 on the game crash. that's so crazy to me, do you think it's also sponsored by the casino?
I don't they are sponsored in anyway because you would be surprised to what and how much people really stake on gambling especially the crash games, well I don't know about the certainty but I just think it's real account that do play these games and I think bc.game is big enough to house these type of gamblers as their customers and I have others stake like and huge winnings too but the difference is that the I.D to the coupon are provided for people to get full details on the staked games but that's for soccer and other sportbets.
399  Economy / Reputation / Re: Impersonation of my wallet address. on: February 14, 2024, 06:22:34 PM
Greetings everyone. I came across the prompt that i was mentioned here. However, i Agbamoni has nothing to do with the account Richbased. During the time i wanted to take my second loan. It was on this page that i shared below. Since i have signed a message before for shasan i just thought of using any application i come across and edit it to my personal information but unfortunately i made a mistake to have not change the wallet address to my own because i though i have done so.

Yeah  I supposed that's a common mistake that can happen to anyone and am very sure maybe one or two persons here too might have made such although mine I did was when I tried applying for a signature campaign and I copied someone else application to edit it but forgot to change some details in the application and I posted it in a hurry and it was not until the person whose application I copied got the notification and PMed me to check and change it and I did so without hesitation so I think these error do occur and am sure other members here too have come across this before.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: February 13, 2024, 07:31:55 PM

For a newbie in gambling like you, I reprimand you for counting on gambling, listen and listen well, gamble responsibly and never be expectant from gambling because its the express way to addiction. Many of us that have gone that road wouldn't even wish it for our enemy talkless of a friend and I view you as one. gambling addiction is a very bad thing to experience as it leaves you a shadow of yourself and with lots of regrets at the long run

😁😁😁 I can't stop laughing when I saw your advice mate, with your writing I feel maybe you were once an addict that have maybe recovered due to the nasty experiences involved with gambling. Well notwithstanding what you said it true because gambling is actually no joke and not something that one would it their hope on to make as a means of survival, I personally know of some of my friends that have seldom complain and with the things I see them do I think I can advise myself never to get too serious with my habits.
