Min stake sizeJust wondering what do you guys recommend as minimum stack size of coins ? Since TEK has no max_subsidy unlike CAP or HYP, there is no economical reason to have a particular stack size. I suggest you to keep them al together, you'll stake faster. If one day TEK implements max_subsidy, then a maximum stack size would make sense (but a minimum size would still not). presstab, tranz, correct me if I'm wrong. LOL, I could have saved myself all the trouble. Anyway, I guess I better change those small stakes into bigger ones. I guess 4 stacks of 250 would be a lot better, 1 stack per week which means I only have to catch up 1 week of chain sync and hopefully large enough to get reward without too much delay.

Dev is doing a great job ! I am also new to signature, did the things I had to do as said on the OP and today received my 2nd payment !

Interesting coin. Signed up yesterday, or was it the day before yesterday ? How much time does it usually takes before 1st payment ?
24 hours. I guess I can expect some coins today or tomorrow then. Status check says "accepted".

Anyone have the blockchain uploaded? I want to sync faster.
Same question, were can we find bootstrap.dat ? data.7z (832166 blocks, Windows only, 322Mb) md5sum (data.7z) = 4d3741b01d6609bf8f8a4b4fe36e863a Block chain data, block index and transaction data base. Decompress to your Orbitcoin data subdirectory cleaned up previously (keep wallet.dat, peers.dat and orbitcoin.conf). I tried to do it starting from scratch but I never managed to get beyond december. Client got stuck and crashed. Your download got my client in sync and NO crash at all. Thanks !

1. Launch will be excellent 2. Pools will be littered with miners rented by the dev. 3. Coin will make it to bittrex 4. mugs will spend loads of BTC on it 5. someone will spread fud and price will drop 6. Newbs will sell for a loss whilst the fudders buy up 7. dev will dump coins he mined but leave the premine so it looks like he is half honest 8. coin will die out and you guys will be left steaming cos you lost btc. If this coin lasts a month and I'm wrong I will apologise ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You pretty much summed up what has been happening in ANN section for past months . whilst I have time I eill continue to post this in every coin I think is a scam, like I said I will happily apologise if I am wrong Being still "new" to the crypto scene that was one of my 1st impression, many coins launced during the week/day all saying the same kind of blah blah. One look at the specs is usually enough to know that you are dealing with just another clone or worse another scam coin.

The highest volume you are ever likely to see in any market comes during a crash - when everyone wants to sell.
High volume indicates that the marketcap is likely to be a more accurate indiciation of the coin's real (financial) value, but on its own it tells you nothing.
As said by others, it also pays off to have a look at forums of different projects.

Cloak is surely not being abandoned I can assure you of that. They have 8 devs and are always available in the IRC and are coming out with new updates weekly.
Just saying.
Disclaimer. I own a lot of cloak.
That's nice to hear. Then someone was misinforming people and that caught my eye as well. Misinformation is an experienced traders best friend. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Traders love FUD, it creates dynamics and dynamics creates profits.

marketcap is not a good factor to judge a coin's worth. volume, obviously, is the important factor. THIS is the REAL list: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FbPMsvDA.png&t=663&c=6l47-Eowqw2sRw) I agree, especially consistant volume please.

Trying to figure out the POS thing of HyperStake. If someone has all his coins on 1 pile and opens his wallet a couple of times a year will that person also get 750% or will reward be capped ?
You can do this. There is a ceiling of 1,000 HYP per stake. So if your 750% annual rate produces a reward of more than 1,000, then it will be capped. If it produces a reward under 1,000 then there is no cap. So planning your staking goals correctly can help to avoid any cap. That must be real "fun" for ppl with a lot of coins, more coins more work. Usually its the other way around ! Interesting project, will keep an eye open on this one. ok, I have bought some hyp, might as well give it a try then reading about it. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
