381  Other / Politics & Society / Re: An easy way to overcome China and Russia on: June 14, 2024, 02:28:57 AM
So Western countries decide everything no matter what? To be honest only US can sustain for a while if Russia and China shut their door and most EU countries will go bankrupt and wake up to the reality there is already a switch in the super powers and we are in transition period and in a decade or two the China will become the new US.

The fact that the West holds the mantle the world leadership doesn't mean it should be abused by oppressing others. Not even the West that's been so clean from corruptions and basing its governing system in the demands of their citizens. They ask do have their flux of inconveniences and not to say that everything is just working out perfectly there.
Putin taking down some of those social channels is strickly for security purposes and considering propagandas to be limited.
Indeed the US won't keep being the world power because other countries such as the China is a major outstanding threat to take over the USAs ground.
382  Other / Meta / Re: A humble suggestion! on: June 14, 2024, 02:08:45 AM
As far as I know, it was mostly completed a few years ago. Soooo... it should be out any day now.  Im sure of it!  Wink
New forum software child board is where we can discuss new ideas to develop and improve the new forum software.

Yes, but I dont really see the point in proposing new features and discussing new ideas if the development of new forum software is currently at a standstill. Its been years since theymos said new software was mostly done so we should have seen some development by now.  I can only assume that the whole idea has been abandoned.

You never can tell, it could be that the proposed ideals for new developments is understand researching in considering how the change can effectively be of good features to the platform.
Remember there had been multiple of these proposals so featuring all of it may compromise the forum system so, It could be that they're currently on technical examinations to find the best that's if there was any though.
383  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A humble newbie in need of exploring guidelines. on: June 14, 2024, 01:47:07 AM

Thank you, i do appreciate. Maybe YouTube would be preferable for better understanding on the visual mode because it would be more comfortable for me to follow up.

Not all YouTube channels will be able to provide you with the correct information. If you are familiar with the fact that on YouTube channels some people prefer to just make money, you should understand that the owner is primarily interested in money.

All the links provided to you on the forum will contain similar information, and you mistakenly think that you cannot cope with it. Consistent reading and communication on the forum will give you the correct understanding.

However, I would like to warn you to be careful when trusting those people who may offer their assistance in investing your money. Do not try to communicate through personal messages, as you can sometimes meet unscrupulous people who are willing to deceive you.

YouTube can be misleading if subscribers ain't careful on how they enrolls with their reliances in the channels because the moderators are most there to make profit and not primarily to promote bitcoin.
Although they could offer helpful guidelines on investment purposes but can possibly code switch and digressing on different perspectives which could lead investors to lost of their funds probably as a result of inadequate guidelines or personal interest.
Calling in the Ops attention to be careful even while in the forum is a good warning alert because there could still be dubious users in the forum who may claim to be good Samaritans to help the Op and due to the Ops inexperiences in the industry could lead him fall a victim. So always stay careful Op.
To me, good luck and welcome to the bitcoin sphere.
384  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Dethrone the Dollar on: June 14, 2024, 01:12:46 AM
A store of value is not a trade currency, And if the value of the dollar becomes less that'd benefit quite a lot of people/industries.

...but I'm telling you that in my country where inflation hits our economy system to the point of time it extremely devalues our traditional currency, the value of dollar surges high at a local exchange.

Yeah in my country people actually archived to create a dollar inflation. And as I said: A store of value is not a trade currency.
That means that the dollar is not a store of value the way Bitcoin is.

So what do you think when you've your funds stored in dollars I'd you you come from an unstable economy country where your traditional currency has no value in comparing local exchange to dollar?
It's not advisable to store your value on the fiat but on such scenarios, holding dollar can as much be a lot of profitablities when exchanged.
Think about Forex trading where traders buys dollar and hodl knowing inflation Will come and the value of their fiat will be devalued against dollar and then they sells it then. Perhaps dollar could be under and influence of loosing it values over time but for now, it feels valuable but bitcoin is a best recommendable assertive source of storing value and it's reliable to hold for a longer term and still maintain its valuable potential.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is Where Cryptomarketing Comes to Your Aid on: June 14, 2024, 12:55:13 AM
Is Cryptomarketing coming to the aid of social media where it fails to determine how valuable a user is, and excluding bots and malicious actors at the same time from different platforms?
Social media are the best platforms to market projects because that's where most people are and you'll never know how much percentage of those people are really investors. There are various ways of doing it but I don't know today, I typically see those marketing in crypto that are being done through influencers and not with the typical ad sponsoring from these platforms. Maybe they're enforcing some rules about that or I am not part of the algorithm of theirs.

The social media has really been a layout field of digital marketing and finance promotions in that w particular project can hire influential personalities aimed to attract public attention and making the audience believe that the project is real to be benefitable.
Eliminating the concepts of social media is a noway for digital projects to gain values and scalabilties. However, there're several means to task the media for promotions just as a medium of what we're all doing here in the forum.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Journey from $900 to $500k+ Trading Solana Memecoins on: June 14, 2024, 12:37:50 AM
I don't really care if your story of making such amount of money was true but would say that you've a very good investing strategy on the Memecoins because not investors succeeds on investing on the Memecoins.
I'm much impressed that you never intended to convince anyone with the hypes on Sola and of course the Solana had secured valuabilities to had also built its blockchain.
387  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Where and how to buy bitcoin in 2024. on: June 14, 2024, 12:21:20 AM
Believably there are lot of people out there interested to invest on bitcoin but the scamming records around it has been a discouragement to them. It only takes courage to Invest on bitcoin if you're far from the knowledge or easier when trusted someone who brought about bitcoin to your knowledge. The crisis within the government over crypto centralized exchanges has also brought fear to most interested persons on bitcoin.
Op I don't understand what you expects the crypto enthusiasts to do in such cases as you said we don't care.  Are we supposed to hold hold a public convention to convince the people out there in doubt about bitcoin?
Perhaps beginners can buy bitcoin on a third party but must be assured of legitimacy. That's if you don't want to negotiate directly on the p2p exchange.

Whenever there is a new technology in town scammers always take advantage of it to get their victims, even when the banks started digital transfer of funds most people got scammed through fake transfers, so its not just a bitcoin thing.
The problem we have is people jumping onto a new trend most especially if there is a false narrative that it makes people rich like whats happening to bitcoin at the moment. People who are easily scammed are mostly those that have the intention of getting rich quick and scammers use this to get them. with a proper knowledge i don't think anyone can ever scam you in this space.

Scammers are always at alert and update to new trends so that they can always invade the system to the success of succeeding their victims. They're aware that there's always inexperienced Investors and participants in the new system so it's always easy for them to garner around and catch up with their victims on targets.
Moreover, lot of desperate quick profits chasers are indicted to always embrace any introduced projects without research commitment which leads them to the lost of their funds.
388  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: crypto vs content creation, which is more profitable? on: June 14, 2024, 12:00:45 AM
Social life is all about hyping and uncertainty and it's equivalent to the AltCoins. That's literally to say the insights about them are disguised on calling public attentions for attaining viewers of the social contents just as the meme gaming projects and its features.
So don't think those content creators has made it richly in the reality life or to believe that those hyping AltCoins are so legitimate and profitable as maybe speculated in the media.

Mind you that before a content creators social account can be verified and monetized, it'd take periods of time in building the network while thriving on gathering audience as their followers and viewers. Perhaps, most content creators actually made it profitable while some gives up on the way because it doesn't seem that easy to earn from the network. As much, even those who're successful in the content creations doesn't really Worth the status because they're all hypers living false celebrity lifestyles.

Bitcoin and other reputable AltCoins are basically investment projects which is fostered on a long term holding to achieve a profitable goal and investors abilities to hodl for long is always unfailingly to profit investors and Investing on cryptocurrency encourages financial utilizations unlike the extravagant lifestyles of content creators spending their funds unnecessarily.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: June 13, 2024, 05:19:14 PM
Scam, death both have in altcoins market so why you want investing altcoins?
My opinion buy dip and sold faster on some profits like to be best revenge for all altcoins investors!
What's your skills and opinion?
Most altcoins are best for short term and a few might be considered good for long term. But that's where the debate starts because everyone has their own taste of altcoins.

Many are the ones that looks at it as their ticket to lottery and likely to give them the best profits that they can think of for a very short period of time.

But little did they know, that's gonna butcher them when the altcoin they've chosen is mostly a pump and dump.

Actually most Investors who Invests in AltCoins are premium risk takers and prettily be assumed to be a convention of trying a luck if they can secure a goal of making profit in a very short time but feels unfortunate when beginners or inexperience Investors fails to understand that it's not encouraging for long term holding and can actually dump just after a sudden pump.
390  Other / Serious discussion / Re: A college degree is no longer a signal of intelligence. on: June 13, 2024, 04:59:03 PM
A college degree is less important now due to technology & alternative learning options. Intelligence is not solely measured by a degree as it encompasses various skills. Critical thinking, problem solving, creativity & adaptability are examples of intelligence that can be demonstrated through different means.

Gone are those days when obtaining of degrees is a measure of intelligence. We've been approached to the era when practical proofs and show working to solve problems and the the ability of creativities has replaced the aim of obtaining degrees.
If your criteria of degrees ain't concentrated on productiveness then it has become a null because the world today is characterized on utilizations.
391  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Too much disasterous threats in relationship and partnerships. on: June 13, 2024, 04:40:41 PM
Even there use to be times in which the mouth and tongue will engage on a minor conflict despite how close they were to each other, so also applies to the relationships with the people in the society, we have to get this right that there will always be a reason for things like misunderstandings to occur, but our maturity is what determines how we handles for it and make it work out for us without affecting the relationships we had with others around us.

That's true. In relationship life we don't expect to meet a perfected partner or someone who'd have a 100% quality of what we expected from them just to suit desires. You can actually find such a person but you in particular wouldn't be a desire to the person.
That's the imperfection of life so maturity is the only way to manage such characters in both marriage and relationship life.
Living to tolerate and being submissive to understand each other and just live peacefully.
392  Other / Off-topic / Don't live above your affordability on: June 13, 2024, 03:03:16 PM
Without pretence, how'd you feel being a low class admist first classes where public are being attentive?
Honestly, to some oppressive times, I actually feel like to afford the first class expenses in that period of time just for impression but my fear always goes to HOW TOMORROW MAY BE because living in such competitive arenas is liable to disappoint a man as time approaches.
Money is indeed a key word of man's status quo but it's better to maintain a sustainability for a long term going than living the high classes in just a short term else, you'd become a mockery in reviewing of your past and recalling your present status quo.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to write a book on Bitcoin topic and I need your advice and help!!! on: June 13, 2024, 02:30:20 PM
As Salamu Alaikum / Namaskar / Hello
to Respected members and friends of this forum, I am a new member of this forum I hope all will help me.

I want to create a book like a story to present and understand Bitcoin in a simple way.

I have knowledge about Inflation, Economics, Blockchain and Bitcoin
So I would like to discuss the following 12 point in the book as a delightful story about bitcoin.

I need some more suggestions from you, please advise me what else I should add:

My 12 point:

1) Discovery of exchange

2) Start / story of currency circulation and inflation

3) Gold coin circulation and revolutionary exchange

4) Limited and unlimited supply of currency

5) Invention and misuse of fiat money as receipt of gold coins

6) How inflation increases the price of daily commodities

7) Relationship with inflation and commodity prices and their differences

8 ) How inflation makes people poorer day by day

9) The silent struggle of people to survive inflation and rising commodity prices

10) Thoughts and Research of Great Men to Survive Inflation

11) Blockchain technology was invented by an unknown great person or group called "Satoshi Nakamoto".

12) The first product of blockchain technology was the invention of crypto currency (Bitcoin) which was inflationless and its first exchange.

I don't know why I've having this thought that those listed contents are more related to economy inflation and stocks values including exchange evolving cryptocurrencies and not basically about bitcoin which you said you want to write about.
By not intending to scrap your efforts, let me contribute a bit to this your journey.
Maybe you can consider to discuss this few as above;
1) Bitcoin intro on a common understanding with being too technical.
2) Goal to bitcoin invention.
3) Risk and benefit factors of holding bitcoin
4) The potential services of bitcoin against economy inflation and banking inconveniences.
5) Approach on storing values in bitcoin against natural disasters.
6) Know your coin and hold your keys on bitcoin decentralized blockchain.

I feel many more to be included but I'd just rest here. That's my humble review.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tap Swap and other new projects trending on: June 13, 2024, 02:09:15 PM
I am also a player of Tap Swap game. As i know now most people are playing this game. I think most people are playing it for fun and not for profit. The game is quite fun and simple. The game was supposed to end last May but has been extended by another month. As a result, the interest of many participants has decreased. Especially the balance doubling for 1 TON has disappointed newbies.

I don't know about your obligation as you also play on the tap game but within my environs, most players actually play it with the speculation that it'd reward its players.
I actually approached one of the player sometimes ago to know if there's fun around the game but he said no because the game doesn't have a feature layouts to say it's fun playing. That's typically to say most persons are playing with profiting expectations while the fun is limited.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think memecoin can turn into a token with utilities? on: June 13, 2024, 01:51:17 PM
If that's a memecoin with those use cases then it's actually a good initiative from the developers. So who knows if that categorized coin as a memecoin will soon change its term from another type of coin. The devs should have never named their coin a memecoin if that's what they're about to do. But not at all times we see a full blast of memecoin that's being launched so, it's good to see that there are some that we rarely see that's actually good with a use case.

Yes I also think the same. If the developers has got such factor of usecase utilities about the coin then it shouldn't had been pictured to be a Memecoin regarding the initiative of the coins. And if actually the Dev doesn't deviate from this onset then the coin would actually do well in the SOLchain.
396  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Can we proudly tell people that we're Bitcoiners? on: June 13, 2024, 01:36:12 PM
As much as I'd like to do it, I won't. I would advice you not to do it too especially in Nigeria. I just heard from a friend today who just got onboarded to crypto that he was beaten up by law enforcement because they found those telegram bot programs on his phone that he actively participate in. Aside from law enforcement, it's really hard to convince people and an utter waste of time especially since our people get archaic kind of mentality around this sort of things. If anything, them go even use am plan against you. Except you're really sure of the people you're telling, you shouldn't.

I've also withnessed similar event that a bitcoin Investor was arrested in an alleged accusation of being a scammer. He tried as much as he could to make those security officers understand that bitcoin isn't an illegal technology but they didn't listen to him. All they cares was that if the Investor could be operating on the digital technology on using electronic devices like laptop and phones, then he's automatically a fraudster. That's just the low mentality of our country people.
However, letting people know that you're a bitcoin Investor has no value to your investment goal. We should be more caring about our funds safety and our safety in the environment than spreading our identities.
397  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Where and how to buy bitcoin in 2024. on: June 13, 2024, 01:20:47 PM
Bitcoin is becoming popular in Nigeria and there are many people who are interested to invest in it, but the question they do not know is how to invest or where to invest. The answer is becoming difficult to give them because of how our governments is, and scammers knowing this can take advantage of these people.
We are not so bortherd because because some of us receive stipends from a signature campaigns we often do not bother ourselves we how to get bitcoins for DCA. But with the difficulty with using banks for crypto trading with exchanges, where and how can someone buy bitcoins or other coins?

Believably there are lot of people out there interested to invest on bitcoin but the scamming records around it has been a discouragement to them. It only takes courage to Invest on bitcoin if you're far from the knowledge or easier when trusted someone who brought about bitcoin to your knowledge. 399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Waiting for the market to improve on: June 12, 2024, 09:39:00 AM
Global cryptocurrency market capitalization can be easily manipulated, especially since the altcoin ratio has become an equal influence to Bitcoin, so it is a useless measure. In general, market capacity is a measure of price, and because of the manipulation of supply, it can be manipulated, except in Bitcoin and currencies that have a fixed maximum.

You're right. Without the manipulation AltCoins wouldn't had been able to gain such influences as to be compared with bitcoin. The rate of supplies and hypes in AltCoin has excessive devalues in the market cap but has myopically to succeed in smuggling in to the global market recognition under the influence of bitcoins reputations and potentialities.
So apparently the the current market rate is a crap of being manipulated.
400  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is it advisable to Recieve airdrop on dapp created on Ethereum Blockchain? on: June 12, 2024, 09:12:02 AM
I grit una country people, abeg I wan ask of e dey advisable make person claim airdrop for dapp wey dey use Ethereum as in gass fee. Abeg make una respond shapperly. I know say gas fee for Ethereum high, abeg make una drop una mind concerning this issue
If you are participating in airdrop campaign do not use your main wallet that supports erc20, instead it's advisable to make new ethereum wallet address to safe your asset that are already inside the wallet.
I don't actually take part of most ethereum based airdrops because of the gas fee, sometimes they will pay you peanuts and gas to claim rewards could be higher than expected or most time downloading app for airdrop if your phone capacity is very low it's advisable to select only airdrops that worth it and not worthless airdrops that would occupied your phone storage.

That's true, atleast for safety reasons that your asset funds are safe, don't associate your asset wallets to any airdrop participated campaigns. That's aside the Ethereum high fees and considering the gas fee on airdrops projects, it doesn't seem profitable at most times after expenses. Although it depends how much that's being rewarded on the project but it's mostly that they don't pay much.
