Anyone have any luck using the ufasoft 0.28 miner (Windows 7) with gpumax? I've tried the following command line but all of my shares are rejected. Not sure why. For this trial I had my gpumax mining pool set to http://us2.eclipsemc.com:8337 with my regular eclipse username and password.

bitcoin-miner-64 -i 2 -o http://<gpumax user>:<gpumax pass>@gpumax.com:8332

Do I need to set my gpumax worker username to something specific to work with eclipse, or is that independent?

Thanks in advance.

-a 5 -g no -o http://gpumax.com:8332 -u (accountnumber) -p (pass) -t 4 -v
worker: 4f23948458d5d928c9004153
pass: abc123
It seems GPUMAX incorrecly interprets HTTP requests.

It seems that Ufasoft doesn't work with gpumax (and ozco.in, but that's just my personal experience).

Is there a 1BTC fee?

Just donated 2.7 BTC to... (uh oh, just realized I sent it to the wrong address...  Roll Eyes I hope it doesn't matter) the address provided to me for monthly payments. Good luck MrGaSp!  Cheesy

As I see there is no open registration at gpumax.com. So I can't to test it.

If you want, here is a worker and pass:
worker: 4f23948458d5d928c9004153
pass: abc123

Since I don't mine this particular worker, and it has no btc accumulated, I would be happy to give you all the BTC earned from the shares given.  Smiley

*I should try the Ufasoft miner more on a different pool, but the time I did get it working, I only got 14~ mhash on my Phenom II x4 945. And since I get 16 mhash on cgminer, I might have kept with cgminer.  Grin

So is the miner's 0kHash/s problem fixed? I can't seem to mine at all in ubuntu 11.10 64-bit... cgminer's cpuminer works perfectly, but your's doesn't.

EDIT: It works now, but it takes about a few minutes to start up  Sad
Tell me full command line to test. Miner's behavior depends of Pool.

-a 5 -g no -o http://gpumax.com:8332 -u (accountnumber) -p (pass) -t 4 -v
using Ufasoft source 0.28 with CFLAGS="-O3 -Wall -march=amdfam10"

Why are your GPU temps only around 42-44c?

I would guess from the pic that it would be due to water cooling.   Cool

Any recommended or minimum donation amount?
391  Economy / Services / Re: Vps Service Needed on: February 20, 2012, 03:09:49 PM
i recomend momentovps.com

I get much worse download rates (50bps) with momentovps' test file than MrGaSp's (600kbps).

You should definitely try that again, 50 bits per second from a 1 gbps server is absolutely not typical.

http://ns228969.ovh.net/test.bin

Here's some proof:

And this was even after some waiting to let the speeds leverage out. The download from MrGaSp's server speeds even started at ~3 mB/s, and slowly descended down to 2, then 1, then stayed at the speed above. Note that I started MrGaSp's download about half a minute after I started the download from MomentoVPS' servers though. And note that though the two downloads might 'attack each other for air', the speeds for the MomentoVPS downloads were about the same even before I started the download from MrGaSp's server.

Maybe its your location?

Most probably is, but that doesn't make the fact that I get faster speeds with your server any less true  Wink

MrGaSp offers an awesome VPS at awesome prices! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=61573.0  Smiley
Though it is manual activation and there's no web-based control panel (I think one's in development, though!), the customer service is awesome and you can usually get responses in less than half a day!
395  Economy / Services / Re: VPS Squared - Virtual, Powerful, Supported VPSs on: February 19, 2012, 12:41:40 PM
Wow, I get 600 kbps downloading the test file here.  Grin An awesome amount when you compare it against less than 50bps (BITS per second!) that I get when downloading MomentoVPS' test file. Go VPS Squared!

I can't seem to 'cash out.' After completing all the puzzles and entering my bitcoin address and clicking the button, the game just hangs and stops responding. I'm doing this in a Virtualbox Win 7 VM, so might that be the problem?

the bitcoin client crashed, so i just restarted it now. you maybe forgot to include the " " quotation marks(which makes the client stop working) when entering a btc address ?

also click once on "send btc" button and wait few moments & unblock firewall (if it blocks it)

Oh, we had to include quotation marks?   Roll Eyes That might have caused the problem. Sorry!

EDIT: Did not see the "don't forget to include quotation marks!" *knocks head against table
