381  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: May 22, 2018, 07:35:32 PM
When you buy directly from them are they shipping orders from USA or somewhere inside EU?
I know that Ledger is shipping from France so no customs for Europeans.

What I wanted to say is that if they have centralised shipping hub in USA that could be more expensive for EU citizens then to buy same wallet from local store in their country even without using promo code.

If nothing has changed since I last used them, all orders should be shipped from Czech Republic. I don't see a problem paying extra to have the device come directly from SatoshiLabs anyway.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Problem with MyEtherwallet on: May 22, 2018, 07:22:55 PM
It's not a multi signature wallet, these private keys are not related in anyway so no, there should be no way for him to get access to it.

I see that some forks have no wallets so how are we supposed to hold them? your tool will create a transaction where we can send directly to an exchange?
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some Bounty managers are already Included KYC requirements in Bounty Thread! on: May 22, 2018, 11:38:38 AM
The way I see it is that this will decrease the quality of posts in the long run instead of improving them. The people who are old in the forums, understand crypto and have high quality posts yes however, they also like to stay anonymous. In fact, It could be the reason why they started using crypto in first place. KYC will simply push people who don't care about their privacy and most likely the ones that only care about making a quick buck and maybe a minority of good quality posters.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEW Offline on: May 22, 2018, 06:15:32 AM
Not necessarily because even If you got infected before, It wouldn't matter as your computer won't connect to the internet anymore to send any data.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any way to locally generate address/privkey for popular coins? on: May 21, 2018, 12:56:09 PM
Does it have to be a vanity address? If not, you could download a multi coin wallet (Exodus, Coinomi, Jaxx), turn the internet off and create the wallet and everything will be derived from the seed instead of having multiple addresses/private keys to hold.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Poloniex dying? on: May 21, 2018, 08:25:38 AM
What's going on with them? they were on the top of the game but no one is talking about them anymore. I also see a lot of ICOs around but honestly, I can't even remember the last I've seen a project announcing listing their coin there.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos: A Self-Amending Crypto-Ledger on: May 21, 2018, 07:20:53 AM
what ?
->ICO was 1 year ago
->so many people heard about it, it was a massive hype
->250millon $ is not enough to kick off well ??

I think the project would've been released by now If funding was not an issue. They had problems with the company who collected the funds on their behalf or something I believe. As far as I know, this is still on court.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🚀 Adbank 🤖: The New World Currency of Online Advertising on: May 18, 2018, 02:22:47 PM
I work in advertising and I can tell you about 25% of our clients are now actively looking into blockchain to use in their business, and that's just the ones that openly talk about it. I believe 2018 will be the year Adbank reaches 500 million in total cap.

We're not going anywhere before the main launch and we also need more exposure whether it's by events and conferences or by working to get added in other exchanges.

The number of investors is simply too big for them to walk away of this point but It definitely doesn't look good. If we're going with #1 on vote and for some reason, one of these exchanges is not interested in listing SVD, does it mean that the token won't be listed anywhere else?
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] savedroid ICO - CRYPTOCURRENCIES FOR EVERYONE | MAIN SALE 9 FEB 2018 on: May 14, 2018, 02:04:49 PM
Who can confirm receiving the bounty tokens? I don't have a profile on the site so the contract address is not visible for me. Can anyone link it here and also mention whether tokens are already transferable or not?
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] savedroid ICO - CRYPTOCURRENCIES FOR EVERYONE | MAIN SALE 9 FEB 2018 on: May 12, 2018, 08:56:35 AM
I'm not sure If this vote make any sense. If they announced them before, It means It's confirmed that they'll get listed there. So what is "waiting for TOP5 exchange" is supposed to mean in this case?
393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MetaMask ? on: May 11, 2018, 01:26:32 PM
In simple terms, It's a wallet and the only reason why MEW, MyCrypto or any other service has access to it is because It has an API. It's not possible to access it from different computers unless you import the seed.
394  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: May 11, 2018, 11:07:33 AM
Who knows If the new services are worth trying? TenX, Monaco, Centra (I read somewhere It's a scam) and MoxyOne? It's funny how we've multiple services that serve for the same purpose but they don't manage to deliver any promised.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / A new bitcoin documentary on: May 07, 2018, 03:07:17 PM
I just came across this new documentary which came out like 1 month ago. I didn't finish watching it but yeah, it looks interesting. See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LszOt51OjXU
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🚀BITCOMO| CPA NETWORK on Blockchain - FOR SMARTCONTRACT PROJECTS AND ICO🚀 on: May 07, 2018, 10:42:43 AM
when bitcomo will be list on coinmarketcap Huh how long it will take time to list on CMC... any idea ??
i think it will be good move to success then new investers will be attracted to bitcomo..
there is no news on twitter, facebook and telegram about project... we are waiting for new interesting news. .. Roll Eyes

Probably not anytime soon. I'm starting to believe that this might be a scam. CoinMarketCap require 100,000$ trading volume I believe which BM token didn't reach and in order to get there, they will need to get list in a reputable exchange because YoBit won't do it.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Tether price is fixed? on: May 06, 2018, 01:05:46 PM
It's supposedly backed by fiat. If there is 1M USDT in circulation, there is 1M USD in a bank account somewhere backing that USDT but nothing guarantee the stability of the price. In fact, I've seen the price decreasing once when Bitfinex (exchange that created Tether) had an issue with the bank they were dealing with and you can see the charts in CoinMarketCap as well.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which trusted Exchange allows International Fiat USD transfers? on: May 06, 2018, 11:04:27 AM
Where are you from? but regardless, you could use Paxful, Localbitcoins or any other reputable P2P platform. Just note that you'll be trading with individuals so there is a chance of getting scammed If you are not careful.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advise wallet for cold storage on: May 06, 2018, 10:16:57 AM
If you're not planning to use use your funds anytime soon, the cheapest way would be to encrypt your private keys, print and hide them or If you don't mind spending some money, I would go with either a Trezor or a Ledger nano S.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the massive creation of Altcoins can be stopped? on: May 04, 2018, 06:19:26 PM
I see no problems here, anyone is free to create his token or coin. It's up for the people to use their brains before investing.
