383  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 23, 2014, 11:49:41 AM
1 Monero will be worth 1000 USD by the end of 2015. You heard it first here Grin

No way! It could be between 2-20.

16 months is long time. i would predict at end of 2015 for Monero to be 0.015btc.
5 times raise from todays seems nice.

386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With 1 short video, everyone in the world can poss. claim ~10 USD on: September 22, 2014, 09:39:07 PM
10,000 #WLD is now trading for around 0.025 #BTC = 10 USD. So with 1 short video, everyone in the world can poss. claim ~10 USD. RT.

Where is it traded?

390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An effort to save Monero and defend against BCX attack tomorrow on: September 22, 2014, 07:30:31 PM
People mine what is worth to mine. when price will go back to 0.005BTC, there will be over 3MH/s. Now let the rest of miners to earn some easy Moneros.

@Stealthcoin

shitcoins are those that just vanish in 100.000 batches. Even if they have 70 characters long passwords. Get stolen one way or another.  Monero is altho is a baby quite cool.

396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Alibaba the cause of the Bitcoin low price of last months? on: September 21, 2014, 12:07:50 PM
http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/alibabas-us-ipo-may-have-crashed-the-bitcoin-price/

It makes sense to me. The chinese have cashed out some of their BTC to buy on the Alibaba IPO. Once they make profits, they'll cash out the BABA gains and get back on BTC which is an actual long term disruptive historical technology tier investment, not some company. I can see how the price will skyrocket in the next months when the chinese get back in (or other inteligent people with money)

Of course it is, it sucked money from just anything.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin see $200 on: September 21, 2014, 12:05:27 PM
Dropping and dropping - that is now the trend. What do you think will happen to bitcoin? Will it see $200 by the end of the year?

Hard by the end of this year. But for sure next year.

400  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price and Mining on: September 21, 2014, 12:02:30 PM
Many posts on Bitcoin tanking possibly to double digit figures, but surely the price can't keep falling below what it costs to mine a coin. Many miners must surely be pulling out at these prices?

So you assume miners must have a profit? If price drops to double digits they'll simply have a loss and get out of business, simple as that. Price doesn't depend on them, they depend on the price.

Of course, miners depends on the price. When price fall, miners left and the rest then mine more coins. When price raise, more miners join, and network gets more stable, and all teh rest miners mine less.
