381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to altcoins on: February 09, 2015, 10:09:15 AM
I am new to altcoins and have read that it is a good crypto currency. I found a faucet list as well from where I can earn altcoins: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=910196.0

However, which wallet is good for altcoins and what is the worth of altcoins in terms of BTC or USD?

Every altcoin has its own wallet. You might want to just use an exchange as an altcoin wallet if you are not looking  to buy /get a large amount.
ANN pages usually have links for downloading the wallets.

Remember that exchanges can't be trusted with large funds though. Try to have them on a safer wallet most of the time.

Oh, so now affiliate page doesnt show list of refs? Well maybe its for the better , it loads much faster now .

But it was also kinda useful to see which of ur refs made u the most , and actual usernames of ur latest refs coz i want to give rewards to my refs and now i cant do that.

It would be cool to have that list somewhere and also to have full list not only last 30 refs showing.

Yeah I noticed this too, maybe make it optional if people want to view their referred players stats? So it first loads quickly but after a button press it loads the rest of the data for people who wish to view it.

I thought I was in the altcoin section first and that you were talking about Stellar.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Started getting paid 100% in Bitcoin starting with my last paycheck on: February 09, 2015, 09:55:18 AM
That's a really interesting way to receive your paycheck. Have to check that site out more, but wouldn't dare to use them yet since they are only in beta and we know what has been happening with unfinished sites lately...
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Original November 2008 version of the Bitcoin paper on: February 09, 2015, 09:53:05 AM
Grammar rules on strong verbs aren't as strict as they once were. Even native speakers today used "broadcasted".

Way back in the day, when people really cared about such things, misuse of strong verbs was a good way to get your ass kuck.
Ya. My teacher used to beat the shit out of me for the smallest reasons.

But then we became friends. But my teacher blinded my friend's right eye after she thrashed talk him.

So then my friend put poison in our teacher's favorite dish, fish head soup. He ded now.

I don't really see a point to this account.. but anyway, thanks for sharing.

Also, really interesting topic. didn't even know there was a white paper back in 2008 about btc.

I would like to join.

If I join now, I need to have 25 posts before Monday 9PM GMT, right?

Correct.

Thanks for joining!

I noticed you had one free slot for a junior member and 2 for full members!

According to my calculations I should become a full member in around 85 posts, I could obviously post them all in one day but that wouldn't help anyone. I would much rather post constantly all over the forum and gain my rank slower, this way the site would get more attention.

Another question; will affiliate links be allowed in the signature? I noticed they don't fit

(The reason my rank could go up in 80 posts in one day is cause I have now and then posted once every 2 weeks)

Anyway, glad to be back in the bitcoin community after a year break from the dreadful 2014. Tongue

Here is my information:

MultiDice username: Mewtwo

Forum Rank: Jr. Member

Postcount: 35 posts.

Yes, it will be better if you post constantly.

We would rather Jr. Members not to include affiliate links in the code because it damages the look of the signature.

Does this mean that I am in?Smiley

Seems like an amazing campaign and a lovely website! Hope to be able to participate in this. Smiley
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Know About Bitcoin on: February 06, 2015, 09:39:17 AM
Well more than half of the General public doesn't!

If you read the write up:

http://bitforum.info/t/do-you-know-what-bitcoin-is-more-than-half-of-the-general-public-dont/224?u=angelo

WTF? How come bitcoin is still unknown to the common people?
Start ups after start ups have managed to raise millions and millions in funding but more than 50% of the common people doesnt know about it?

What do you think is lacking? What are bitcoin's shortcomings?

It surprises me how unknown it is here in Europe still. I think the U.S and china are ahead of the world again if it comes to cryptos.

Signature campaign launching very soon!
Launching soon means months. We've all learned from over two years of long delayed promises from you Stunna that "soon" actually isn't soon. Take for example the launch of PD2 and the launch of PD3. Promised "next week guys" for months on end for them...

Don't hold your breath people.

Just testing the tracking bot for it now Smiley

Any more news on this? Would love to join the almighty PrimeDice campaign! Smiley

391  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: February 06, 2015, 08:53:14 AM
The last time it it $1K, I didn't sell any of my coins. I thought it might go all the way up to $10K. It was such a shitty decision. However, if it hits the $1K mark once again, I am offloading half of my coins.  Grin

May I ask how many half is?Cheesy
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Winklevii will become one of great capitalist barons of this century! on: January 27, 2015, 09:01:02 AM
I was so amazed to see their interview today after they presented their ETF project!

They said if bitcoin market cap would be 400 billion if it becomes major among money transfer(visa, mastercard).

marketcap would be in trillions if it disrupts Gold..

They hold 1% of all bitcoin total supply!

They are taking bitcoin to wall street and comply with regulations to create the first ever ETF for bitcoin so all the banks and wall street major billionaires can now invest in bitcoin..

In the coming decentralized world which will be made up of key technologies like drones, 3d printing, autonomous agents we can be sure that the blockchain technology will be like how electricity was to the 20th century...

bitcoin will be the token of value in future...

they will be the masters of decentralized revolution!

Any sources on anything you've mentioned about them?

Is it possible that these two gals mistaken cowbell for cow balls for their early morning cock-a-doodle-do?

Is this the 'bottom' everyone has been talking about?

How much lower can you go?

Buy now. Then just wait.

And come back in 2020, you will see people posting in this forum "sh*t, I heard about bitcoin in 2015 when it was only ~300$, and now it is more than X0'000$". etc. etc.

I sometimes wish i could freeze myself for another 6 years to wake up to a lore valuable wallet.
