381  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Problem with Legendary User b!z on: October 09, 2015, 11:17:01 PM
I left him a negative trust for the time being. Looks like he hasn't been on since mid-September (not sure if he'll ever come back online though) but if the scam accusations against him are ever sorted out I'd be willing to remove the negative trust I left.

Thanks for actually doing something, GP. It'll serve as a warning if b!z has actually gone rogue to those who may have future dealings with him.

What I can't understand is why b!z has gone this way.
382  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan 3 btc-immediately on: October 09, 2015, 11:15:07 PM
I hope there are willing to help me

Sorry bud, but there aren't. Newbies + no collateral loans just don't mix; do you have anything worth ~$750 that you can offer as a collateral?
383  Other / New forum software / Re: Bitcointalk needs to have an upvote button on comments. on: October 09, 2015, 08:12:15 PM
That is prone to abuse if we let users of low ranks upvote.
As long as there is no option to downvote it couldn't hurt if it was properly implemented.
I think that could be implemented according to stack exchange's votes, very complicated and may stop abuse of votes

Can you elaborate on that? I'm not familiar with how exactly StackExchange works.

385  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: PayPal for BTC on: October 09, 2015, 07:06:47 PM
I know I can do it myself, but it will take paypal 2-3 days to get the money to my account and it will take coinbase 4-5 days to get it to my BTC wallet.

You'd better do it like that and wait, then. A week is a decent amount of time to wait for bitcoins if you really want it. Plus, this:

Paypal is highly reversible and people run away from it!
386  Other / Meta / Re: imgur no more allowed? on: October 09, 2015, 07:05:03 PM
Works fine for me Smiley

The OP already said that he found out what was causing it.

Many Thanx for the tip omega.
Now it work alla fine!
I loose last imgur update.
Thank you all.

Also, take some time and scroll up in this thread. What do you see?...

...I think 4 posts with images showing it working is plenty. Roll Eyes
387  Economy / Lending / Re: Loans - Business Loans - Over $50 - 1BTC no Collateral. on: October 09, 2015, 07:00:56 PM
I could actually give you my ID if you need it

Please do. Smiley

Requirement C:
Copy of your Drivers' License. Your name is just fine.

So are you saying that one can just send over his legal name and get a loan? No real point in requirements A/B then.
388  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is forum escrow still safe? on: October 09, 2015, 06:58:41 PM
Use a trusted escrow.

OgNasty isn't too bad of an escrow himself. Smiley But yeah, people like SebastianJu/OgNasty who have over an year of forum trading without any real issues are preferable as an escrow.

It's definitely still safe.

390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I Sell Goods Yet? on: October 09, 2015, 02:20:57 AM
I pretty much have been a gamer my whole life, and get every console that is released. Well I have an Xbox One already and would like to get rid of my 360, I was just wondering before I go ahead and get into any trouble if I could sell in the forum's marketplace yet? Please let me know, and some tips would also be appreciated, thank you.

Nope. Anyone can be a buyer/seller, but I can recommend for you to use an escrow when selling the console/other goods (to avoid being scammed). Here's a list of 'em.

Best of luck to your selling adventures, and as always, GLWS!
391  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: October 09, 2015, 02:11:11 AM

To get rich it is good to invest and work hard, invest in bitcoins I know it is worth it in the end I mean in the future.

im deal with it, you must invest your money at Bitcoin Smiley
anyway how much you save your money everymonth ?
yeah i know work hard but the problem is how to invest
where i can invest my money ?

You're already investing if you own any amount of bitcoins. Tbh, it's the safest investment you can do right now; if you're looking for an instant 150% back investment then it's not for you, but otherwise it's a decent one to go with.
392  Other / Meta / Re: [HeLp]Lost my bitcointalk account.Proved Ownership.Still not reset! on: October 09, 2015, 02:07:09 AM
Already pmd themos but account still not reset Sad and no response from him

How long have you been waiting since you sent theymos a message? If it's been less than a week then you need to wait, period.
393  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitcoin Exchange Script - Cryptsy Clone ($99) on: October 09, 2015, 02:04:07 AM
I swear I've seen this exact script released on GitHub.

Hi it closed its opensource program and its available from me with improved security features, free installation & refund guarantee if not satisfied

Can you tell us what kind of "improved security features" you have on it? Please be specific: I'm just making sure that you're not reselling a free, open source script.
394  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Auto Buy] Getting a lifetime vps with 5gb RAM |METHOD| $1.50 on: October 09, 2015, 02:02:37 AM
Very Successful deal with ahmedjadoon, He goes first and i sent the package. Waiting for his feedback!

It's been quite a few days since your deal with him. What went wrong so that he didn't leave a vouch/trust rating?
395  Other / New forum software / Re: Can we "Like" a post? on: October 09, 2015, 01:56:00 AM
I recall Digg when it was a tech site with Kevin Rose just starting it, the voting system was manipulated to the point that a couple dozen people were always on the front page. This being a forum as opposed to a news aggregator, I don't see an issue with being able to like or dislike a topic or single post. I do see the potential of abuse via spam and advertising if the site were to have a prominent "most popular topics or posts" area. The up side would be similar to the trust system for trading here in finding quality people to follow in your areas of interest.

I doubt that such an area would be implemented if Vod's suggestion was added. That would, as you said, be paving the way for people abuse the system of "liking" posts.
396  Other / New forum software / Re: Bitcointalk needs to have an upvote button on comments. on: October 09, 2015, 01:18:24 AM
Making an upvote button increases discussion on the forum.

Really? Can you tell me where you got that nice little statistic? Roll Eyes

Also, this is already being discussed in Vod's thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622992.0
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: sending bitcoin to users in china on: October 09, 2015, 12:28:02 AM
Just send it to his/her bitcoin address like normal. Chinese users can use blockchain.info chan't they?

Well, the OP stated that that wasn't his real problem further down in the thread. Here's the quote. Wink

actually i need to know how easy is for the person in china to convert/exchange bitcoin for the local currency,
not in the china banks i suspect, but working with some bank account who can receive the already converted bitcoins/yuens... is there any way to do that in a more automatically way??:

[insert disrogatory comment about reading the thread before posting here]
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: October 09, 2015, 12:22:41 AM
I believe that bitcoin has very bright future ahead, in coming year we can see good news from many countries about bitcoin. There has been significant increase the bitcoin users and it is getting more and more popular. Every countries should accept and regulate the bitcoins  which is good for the future of bitcoin, i would like to see the prices of bitcoins touched to $ 1000.
I agree. Bitcoin has a lot of potential as it is simply better than fiat currency. The only reason the price has been declining is because of the lack of understanding of Bitcoin. If more people understood how the technology worked, the price would soar.

Just take advantage of the low price right now; it was mostly from the bitcoin fork that the price dropped. It's been steadily rising, so now is a good time to buy 'em.
399  Other / Meta / Re: Why was this deleted? on: October 09, 2015, 12:16:55 AM
A newbie account must wait 6 minutes between posts or reports.  If i haven't miscounted, it would take me nearly two hours to report those posts.

No need to report them, really. You basically reported them just now by pointing them out in this thread.
400  Economy / Lending / Re: need 0.01 btc loan [ have collateral ] on: October 09, 2015, 12:15:07 AM
Hahaha. Did anyone else see that his signature is "for sale"? I seriously want to report the original post saying it belongs in Digital Goods. Roll Eyes

But on a more serious note, you should probably close this thread now.
