This crazy Luck must carry over to other places, in last 24 hours I have won 2 s7 miners on HN lucky hash, last win with only 25 tickets and each ticket is .001. Odds are under 1% with 25 tickets since each game has 3000 tickets sold. So I bought a few powerball tickets cause this last 24 hours has been statistically pretty outrageous.

Um... well, you might want to flash the firmware as a first step. Go to S4 Firmware to get it from Bitmain. Also, make sure you don't have that miner exposed to the outside world (i.e. you don't have port forwarding to it). Change the password for sure. Wow, where did you get the miner? Maybe seller flashed it with his own info but looking at the address your not the only one this is happening to, this hacker made over 8btc so far with this hack. |

Kano, Changed my payout address about 12 hours ago, got email about the change but this payout was sent to old address. Is that because use use the address at time of block hit or at time of payment made?
Payout is sent to the address at the exact time the block is found. Ok, great thanks. So next block we find will use the new address. Thanks for the quick reply! |

If I recall, somewhere back in this thread we found out that kano-san has a secret bit of code that when implemented gives the pool extraordinarily good luck, and we start popping blocks like popcorn. I humbly suggest it be enabled at this time to exorcize the block before it turns into another spawn of satan... /jk btw Ok, fine, more chicken... If anyone wants to bulk import rewards information instead of one by one, you can do the following steps: 1. Log into Kano.is and go to your rewards page 2. Select all of the rewards that you have not yet entered 3. Copy into Excel (or similar) and save as a *.csv file 4. email the file to me and I will import it for you. Eventually I plan on making this more automatic, but for now this will work. Any questions let me know. My fastest miner S7 is doing a SHARE RATE of 3.93THs and a HASH RATE of 4.90THs , why does that differ ? What is what and is that normal ? my slower miners does not have that big difference.  This copy of S7 is overclocked to 750 Mhz, it have no X-ed CPUs in the status box. Has that rig been on the pool more than an hour? Share rate is not really accurate, its a real-time number since last network block. HAHA - 3 a day will be the norm soon vs. exception! Excellent Job Kano, been here since early June and have been trying to promote this pool whenever possible. Now that we are over 9ph, I think the bigger miners will notice and can afford to come over given the decreased variance. I think thats always been the issue with getting large miners here, they could not afford the 5N and high variant, but we are getting there.
I would just rather take miners from Ant and F2, but I guess any is better then none. Some people are just stuck on PPS and will always stay on F2, Ant and Eligius. Amazing how many 500th plus miners stay on those pools and get paid less on PPS then they would here.

Also wanted to add, payout stats from when I first joined on June 16th. Under 1PH and 8.5th got you .22. Back then 5N was 13 days!

He is also supposed to receive a pallet of S5 refurbished and checked by Bitmain guaranteed without any dead chips I reported all his auctions with miners. unfortunately, we can't add a comment when reporting to Ebay, so I can't tell them what to check. Selling each S5 at EUR 338.00?!?!? Too high for an S5 and too low for an S7, doesn't make any sense to me, and because of that, I'll pass it, too much pita to get my money back. That's a good price for an S5 in Europe, but not as good as his S7. That is £228 wheras an ebay S5 will get at least £300 & often £350. I will be selling mine soon, so hope it stays that way. However this is academic as it's a SCAM. Rich For sure scam, look at his feedback history, all BS little amounts to get feedback, all he is selling now are miners, with LONG lead times, delivery times etc. Gets him the longest possible time to get the money out of paypal, and prob linked bank account. Then just walk away, close bank accounts etc. Since his account is older and I bet has had paypal for a while, then they will not hold the funds and he can spend on Paypal card or xfer to bank. Buyers will not start filing claims till mid to late Feb and by then he is long gone. |

Here's to hoping this train picks up steam and further reduces the variance between solved blocks....I just got scammed out of 5.1 BTC, so I need to recoup all I can as quickly as I can given the halving window this summer....
