Yes the smaller the payout due to the larger pool size / Hash rate is expected. No one is questioning that. The question is why my share hash rate haven't increased in the past almost 3 days.
It takes the full time to get up to speed which is around EDIT>>( Sorry 3 days hard to keep up as the pool grows ) 4 days. https://kano.is/index.php?k=payout . You need to have continuous mining for that period or that will reflect on your hashrate.. Give it another couple days of uninterrupted mining and if it doesn't go up id message Kano im sure he will help you get it sorted out. Best Regards d57heinz

It's been more than 5 days, that's what I mentioned earlier which may be easily missed. Even if it's not over 5 days, each day it should increase not decrease. Once you've reached the full length it should stay steady like Hawkfish's example not like mine. I will continue monitoring.

Here's to hoping this train picks up steam and further reduces the variance between solved blocks....I just got scammed out of 5.1 BTC, so I need to recoup all I can as quickly as I can given the halving window this summer....
What happen? Good to share to help other stay away

... That's weird, may be Kano could chime in. In my case hash rate staying the same but payouts are getting less and less since Kano has grown in last few days. 91920 5/Jan 20:36 24.99505891 523.218G 73hr 9m 51s 8.53PHs 0.42% 2.183G 35.59THs 0.10427923 391919 5/Jan 20:26 25.01420270 521.906G 72hr 59m 31s 8.53PHs 0.42% 2.178G 35.60THs 0.10437861 391877 5/Jan 14:14 24.99284042 521.622G 74hr 8m 56s 8.39PHs 0.42% 2.213G 35.60THs 0.10601794 391757 4/Jan 20:13 25.24103106 520.786G 77hr 58m 13s 7.97PHs 0.45% 2.325G 35.58THs 0.11269616 391710 4/Jan 12:49 24.96810220 524.143G 79hr 56m 15s 7.82PHs 0.45% 2.383G 35.57THs 0.11352141 391583 3/Jan 20:52 24.99645072 521.709G 84hr 6m 0s 7.40PHs 0.48% 2.496G 35.40THs 0.11957781 ...
Yes that's quite as expected during pool growth. No you aren't losing BTC, you are (expected) to be paid more often due to the higher pool hash rate, thus the amount falls. Simple example with rough values to make it clear what is happening If the pool hash rate was expecting 1 block per day and you are mining 1% of the pool hash rate, you'd get .25 BTC per block. Thus you'd expect (to average) 0.25 BTC per day. If the pool hash rate doubled, and you stay the same, then the pool would be expecting 2 blocks per day. Your 1% would now only be 0.5% of the pool hash rate, so you'd expect 0.125 BTC per block. But since the pool is expecting to average 2 blocks per day, you'd still expect to average 0.25 BTC per day.

Wow I didn't notice the second block. ZACHM's monitor only notified me of the first (or at least I only received the first email) so I hadn't checked the site yet. When I saw the thread and I immediately headed to blocktrail and sure enough. Go go kano's ckpool
